This research aims to describe and give meaning to the local culture of Welum Ba’hadat (Living in Rules) in the learning process at the School of the Deserted Village. Research location at SMPN 7 South Dusun, Prefecture: South Dusan, District: South Barito, Central Kaliamantan Province. Using qualitative methods with phenomenal approaches that are oriented to theoretical. The data collection techniques used are participatory, observational, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The results of the analysis of this study found that the local culture is not in the process of learning in the village school remains in Barito South district, Central Kalimantan Province. The values that apply to a) the rules of conduct, b) the guidelines of behaviour, c) the philosophy, the behavior of local wisdom “not ba’adat” (Hidup dalam aturan).
