Analysis of problems and countermeasures in computer network engineering security

This paper analyzes the existing security issues in computer network engineering and proposes a series of countermeasures. To address the problems of hacker attacks and information leakage, it is recommended to strengthen network monitoring and the application of encryption technology. For the issues of malware and virus dissemination, it is advised to regularly update antivirus software and enhance employee security awareness training. Regarding network data leakage and privacy breaches, the use of secure transmission protocols and multi-factor authentication technology is advocated. For network security management and maintenance issues, establishing a sound security management system and emergency response plans is recommended to ensure the stable operation of network systems. Through the implementation of the above measures, the security level of computer network engineering can be effectively improved, ensuring the normal operation of network systems and the security of information.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE PROCESSES OF PRODUCTION OF SPARE PARTS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES

The purpose of the research is to develop a software simulation multi-product model designed for effective inventory management of spare parts. In the course of the work, a mathematical model was used to optimize the production and storage of spare parts for vehicles. At the same time, such significant factors as the total number of spare parts in stock, the frequency of failure of certain parts, operating conditions, the intensity of their use, as well as the influence of the human factor were taken into account. The results show that penalties for shipping and dynamic spare parts consumption significantly affect the cost function, while penalties for missing necessary parts significantly affect the minimum inventory level. The results can be applied to the management of spare parts stocks at authorized service centers. The study concludes that seasonal fluctuations in demand for spare parts can be eliminated by creating a scientifically sound spare parts inventory management system.

Comparative assessment of treatment technologies for minimizing reverse osmosis concentrate volume for industrial applications: A review.

Desalination of seawater, brackish water, and reclaimed water is becoming increasingly prevalent worldwide to supplement and diversify fresh water supplies. However, particularly for industrial wastewater, the need for environment-friendly and economically viable alternatives for concentrate management is the major impediment to deploying large-scale desalination. This review covers various strategies and technologies for managing reverse osmosis concentrate (ROC) and also includes their disposal, treatment, and potential applications. Developing energy-efficient, economical, and ecologically sound ROC management systems is essential if desalination and wastewater treatment are being implemented for a sustainable water future, particularly for industrial wastewater. The limitations and benefits of various concentrate management strategies are examined in this review. Moreover, it explores the potential of innovative technologies in reducing concentrate volume, enhancing water recovery, eliminating organic pollutants, and extracting valuable resources. This review critically discusses concentrate management approaches and technologies, including disposal, treatment, and reuse, including new technologies for reducing concentrate volume, boosting water recovery, eliminating organic contaminants, recovering valuable commodities, and minimizing energy consumption.

Adidas has a sound risk management system and has effectively responded to epidemic risks, but measures to address small and potential risks need to be improved. Current Situation and Challenges of Safety Management of Chemical Laboratories in Universities: Problems and Countermeasures

University chemistry laboratory is an important base for teaching experiment and scientific research, and its experimental activities and scientific research results play an irreplaceable role in cultivating students' practical ability and promoting the development of the subject. However, with the increase of the frequency of laboratory use and the improvement of experimental complexity, the safety management of chemical laboratories in colleges and universities has become increasingly prominent. Laboratory accidents can not only cause serious harm to people and the environment, but can also have a negative impact on a school's reputation and the quality of education. Through the field investigation and data analysis of chemical laboratories in many colleges and universities, it is found that although many colleges and universities have established a set of safety management system, there are still many deficiencies in practical operation, such as weak safety awareness, imperfect safety facilities, insufficient safety training and lack of emergency plans. These problems not only threaten the safe operation of the laboratory, but also restrict the smooth development of scientific research and teaching activities. In view of the challenges facing the safety management of chemical laboratories in colleges and universities, safety education and training should be strengthened to improve the awareness and attention of teachers and students to laboratory safety. Secondly, it is necessary to improve the safety facilities and ensure that the hardware equipment of the laboratory can meet the safety requirements. Multi-dimensional Cooperation:A Path to Enhance After-school Services in Guizhou's Primary and Secondary Schools

Optimizing after-school services for primary and secondary schools is an important initiative to carry out the spirit of the 20th Party Congress, implement the “double reduction” policy, adhere to the “five education” and explore the integration of the “five education”, and promote the diversified and distinctive development of the “five education”, and it is a milestone event in the transition from traditional examination- oriented education to quality education. In order to solve the problem of “three and a half hours” for parents and increase the people's sense of gain and happiness, more and more primary and secondary schools in Guizhou are offering colorful after-school services, “growth class” courses and interest activities. In recent years, around the “burden” policy documents one after another, but the burden of primary and secondary school students has not improved significantly, “school pressure, outside the school burden”, “only the theory of scores” and so on. The chaotic phenomenon of education has accumulated and is difficult to return. After a long period of field research, visiting typical cases, understanding special cases and summarizing and analyzing the research data, the research group found that there are problems such as unsound supervision and management mechanism, insufficient teachers' strength, incomplete resource allocation, and low parental participation in Guizhou's primary and secondary school after-school services. Based on the multifaceted and collaborative approach, the research group proposes measures to improve the quality of after-school services, such as establishing a sound management and supervision system, improving teachers' teaching and learning abilities, optimizing the allocation of after-school education resources, and promoting the development of co-operation between home and school, with a view to providing decision-making references and suggestions for improvement to the governmental departments, educational institutions and parents.

Evaluating Drivers and Barriers of Integrated Waste Management System Implementation in Indonesian Construction Industry: A DEMATEL-Based Analytical Network Process

The growth of construction industries in Indonesia creates an increasing level of generated construction waste. The limited implementation of ISO 14001 in the Indonesian construction industry might indicate the limited implementation of waste management based on sustainability principles. Therefore, this study aims to explore the drivers and barriers to implementing integrated waste management in construction industries. The Content Validity Index (CVI) and Modified Kappa methods were utilized to validate the indicators from the literature review. A total of 18 driver factors and 21 barrier factors in six dimensions were assessed by seven experts. This study then employs the decision-making evaluation and laboratory-based analytical network process (DEMATEL-based ANP) to find the weight and relation between each indicator and dimension. The results show that environmental awareness is the most important factor that drives construction industries to implement waste management in their company. In contrast, a lack of education about waste management is the most significant factor that inhibits construction industries from implementing sound waste management systems.

Analysis of the Impact of Spokesperson Marketing on Brand Influence in the Context of Social Media

With the increasingly fierce market competition, brand marketing and spokesperson marketing have become important means for enterprises to enhance competitiveness. However, how to choose the right spokesperson, formulate effective marketing strategies and avoid potential risks are important issues facing enterprises. By using the methods of literature research and case analysis, this paper deeply studies the type segmentation and operation mechanism of spokesperson marketing, and analyzes the marketing methods, effects and potential risks of spokesperson combined with specific cases. The results show that selecting the right spokesperson and formulating effective marketing strategies are important to enhance brand awareness and reputation. Enterprises need to establish a sound spokesperson management system and effect evaluation system to ensure the standardization and effectiveness of spokesperson marketing activities. At the same time, this study also takes X and W as examples to explore the huge commercial value they bring to the brand as popular artists, as well as the operation mechanism and characteristics behind them. Through in-depth analysis of the types and effects of its endorsement activities, the study found that the spokesperson played an effective role as a bridge between the brand and consumers, transmitting brand information and promoting the promotion of sales and brand image. In addition, this study also discusses the strategies and potential risks of selecting spokesmen, which provides wise decision guidance for enterprises.

Exploring the Mechanism Construction and Strategies of Alumni Association Work in Local New Undergraduate Colleges and Universities: Evidence from Fujian University of Technology

As the number of fresh undergraduate graduates of general colleges and universities across the country continues to climb, alumni associations play an increasingly important role as a liaison platform for communicating with school alumni. However, under the increasingly complex social environment in the new era, most of the new undergraduate colleges and universities have not yet formed their cultural system cultivation, and the problem of alumni resources integration is prominent; insufficient attention to the work of alumni associations, insufficient mechanism and personnel protection, lack of sound departmental and management system, as well as the lack of development planning and information technology platforms; make it difficult to carry out the work of their alumni associations. This paper will investigate the current situation of alumni association of local newly-built undergraduate colleges and universities in China, analyze and summarize the main problems and difficulties of alumni association work, and take Fujian University of Science and Technology as an example, draw on the successful experience of its alumni association, and synthesize the experience of alumni associations of other general undergraduate colleges and universities, to take the best of their strengths and complement their weaknesses, and to solve the related problems. Finally, it explores the mechanism construction of alumni work of local newly-built undergraduate colleges and universities in the new era and the corresponding innovative strategies.

A review of the influence of heat drying, alkaline treatment, and composting on biosolids characteristics and their impacts on nitrogen dynamics in biosolids-amended soils

Application of biosolids to agricultural land has gained increasing attention due to their rich nutrient content. There are a variety of treatment processes for converting sewage sludge to biosolids. Different treatment processes can change the physicochemical properties of the raw sewage sludge and affect the dynamics of nutrient release in biosolids-amended soils. This paper reviews heat drying, alkaline treatment, and composting as biosolids treatment processes and discusses the effects of these treatments on biosolid nitrogen (N) content and availability. Most N in the biosolids remain in organic forms, regardless of biosolids treatment type but considerable variation exists in the mean values of total N and mineralizable N across different types of biosolids. The highest mean total N content was recorded in heat-dried biosolids (HDB) (4.92%), followed by composted biosolids (CB) (2.25%) and alkaline-treated biosolids (ATB) (2.14%). The mean mineralizable N value was similar between HDB and ATB, with a broader range of mineralizable N in ATB. The lowest N availability was observed in CB. Although many models have been extensively studied for predicting potential N mineralization in soils amended with organic amendments, limited research has attempted to model soil N mineralization following biosolids application. With biosolids being a popular, economical, and eco-friendly alternative to chemical N-fertilizers, understanding biosolids treatment effects on biosolids properties is important for developing a sound biosolids management system. Moreover, modeling N mineralization in biosolids-amended soils is essential for the adoption of sustainable farming practices that maximize the agronomic value of all types of biosolids.

Impact of financial risk management on performance of Nigerian commercial banks

This study explored the impact of financial risk management Nigerian commercial banks' financial performance from 2009 to 2022. Return on assets (ROA) is used to assess financial performance, and capital risk (CAR), liquidity risk (LQR), market risk (MKR), and operational risk (OPR) are used to proxy financial risks. Fixed effects panel data regression analysis is used in the study on a sample of 70 observations from five significant commercial banks in Nigeria. The findings demonstrate that, even while the model as a whole is statistically significant, demonstrating the joint significance of the financial risk factors, when bank-specific heterogeneity is taken into account, none of the risk variables individually significantly affect ROA. The lack of significance of individual predictors points to issues of model misspecification, omitted variable bias, multicollinearity and autocorrelation. Further research should focus on refining the econometric approach through inclusion of pertinent control variables, use of dynamic modeling techniques and addressing diagnostic concerns. From a policy perspective, the findings highlight the imperative of enhancing risk management practices and prudential oversight to safeguard bank profitability and financial stability. The study provides a baseline model and recommendations for improving modeling strategies to gain richer insights into the financial risk-performance nexus for Nigerian commercial banks. With a robust empirical approach, valuable policy guidance can be provided to promote sound risk management systems and regulations for a profitable, stable and resilient banking sector that supports Nigeria's economic growth.

A Perspective on the Current Situation of Children’s Education and Teachers’ Moral Cultivation Combined with Decision Tree Algorithm

Abstract The enhancement of children’s education quality necessitates a high level of teacher moral literacy. This paper employs data mining techniques to elaborate on the Classification and Regression Tree (CART) model within logistic regression and decision tree algorithms. Data pertinent to elementary school education were collected via questionnaires, followed by data cleaning and segmentation. The parameters of the CART model were optimized using a Bayesian algorithm, and its efficacy was validated through a dataset to support the exploration of factors influencing the developmental level of children’s education. Additionally, data regarding teachers’ moral literacy were gathered and analyzed using binary logistic regression within the logistic regression framework. The analysis revealed that the accuracy of the CART decision tree model reached 90%, with the error converging to zero at 50 trees. Key determinants such as willpower and communication abilities in children’s education were influenced by exercise duration, time spent in interest classes, gender, and parents’ educational levels. The mean score for teachers’ moral literacy was 4.349±0.465. Notably, teachers with low salary satisfaction exhibited a moral literacy level that was only 0.517 times that of their counterparts with high salary satisfaction. Establishing a scientifically sound and reasonable salary management system is crucial. Such a system can ignite teachers’ enthusiasm for teaching, substantially enhancing their moral literacy, which in turn positively impacts the level of children’s educational development.

This study delves into the internal mechanics of enterprise economic management innovation, primarily examining the aspects of planning and organization, within manufacturing enterprises like Midea Group. This paper extensively explores the relationship between the formulation and management of long-term and short-term plans, the philosophy of management, the current state of production management, and the overall development strategy within the field of enterprise economic management. It primarily emphasizes the following three points: 1) Enterprises must adjust their management philosophy to align with their development trajectory, the dynamically changing market competition landscape, and the evolving contours of the contemporary environment; 2) The trajectory from low-efficiency to high-efficiency production management is closely linked to the production budget and decision-making processes of enterprises; 3) The prevalence of internal strategic management within enterprises and the optimization level of resource allocation play a pivotal role in measuring the innovation quotient of internal planning management. Simultaneously, this paper places significant emphasis on the analysis of organizational innovation structures, indicating that enterprises should establish sound management systems to enhance internal efficiency and competitiveness. Moreover, enterprises should align themselves with market dynamics and trends, avoiding risky behaviors to ensure the long-term success of economic management practices. Additionally, enterprises must continually innovate and adjust organizational structures to adapt to market changes and development requirements, thereby achieving sustained growth.

Adaptation and local knowledge of the Marind Anim Tribes in the utilization of Paperbark trees (Melaleuca leucadendron) in Merauke, South Papua, Indonesia

Biodiversitas 24: 6323-6331. Papuan rainforests are one of the most immensely diverse in the world. Such rich biodiversity provides a source of livelihood for the inland communities in Merauke, South Papua Province. For example, Paperbark trees (Melaleuca leucadendron) or kayu bus in the local language, which grow dominantly in lowland areas, are essential for the lives of the local inhabitants, the Marind Anim tribe. This research aims to elaborate on the use of Paperbark trees (M. leucadendron) by the Marind Anim tribe in their daily lives. Data were collected from surveys, interviews, and field observations. The interviews were conducted in multiple locations: Merauke, Sota, Muting, Semangga, and Tanah Miring. The results show that all members of the Marind Anim tribe (100%) depend on Paperbark for their livelihood, especially for the need for housing. The community has been using Paperbark trunks for house frames (92.31%), either unprocessed or in the forms of wooden blocks (5 x 5, 5 x 10, 10 x 10 cm) and boards (2 x 20 cm). They also utilize the wood for firewood. Other tribe members, i.e., the residents of the Wasur National Park, extract essential oils from Paperbark leaves. This utilization receives assistance and support from the area manager of the national park. Other than that, the community also utilizes the bark for house roofs, mats for crops, and firewood. In brief, the community's dependence on Paperbark trees is high because, other than being versatile, they are endemic to the lowland areas of Merauke, dominating other tree species. The findings suggest the importance of establishing a sound management system for the utilization of Paperbark trees to maintain sustainability in meeting the needs of surrounding communities.

CRUD Operation on WordPress Posts From C# over REST API

Purpose: WordPress is a sound content management system on the web. We can build a website with little effort. Around 40% of internet websites are powered by WordPress. Using the WordPress website, our researcher can store research data inside the website database without spending money on the cloud. We demonstrate how to run CRUD operations on a WordPress-powered website database using WordPress Posts. We observe the essential CRUD operation so that our researcher can integrate it easily into their project with complex procedures. We use REST API for communication between the WordPress and the client application. We created a GUI in Visual Studio using C# language for easy operation. An HTTP client is used for communication. The complete project code is available to download and continue research work. Design/Methodology/Approach: First, we install a “local” application in our working system. Then, we create a brand-new WordPress website. We activated the latest theme, which is now Twenty twenty-four. We make a custom route and add a posts operation handling module inside the theme folder. This is the server-side action. On the other hand, inside the Visual Studio 2022 community edition, using C# language, we created a GUI-based client application to interact with users. We added an HTTP client module to communicate with the server. Findings/Result: We experimented with practical, real-world examples. The overall performance is excellent and helpful in real-world scenarios without any issues. Network latency is sometimes present, creating problems in real-time data processing. The researcher creating a custom route in their online website can experiment. It will not have any adverse effect on keeping the website live. Originality/Value: WordPress uses the database to store post-type data and some WordPress-related configurations. Out of the traditional way, we can also reserve our research data as post-type content according to our project requirements. Keeping our data as the post-type of content from the C# application is the least available documentation on the web. We demonstrate here through Practical examples. Exploring Higher Education International Student Education Management Based on Refined Management Approach

From the current perspective of management models, admission methods, management concepts, and service quality of international students in universities, we need to pursue a more refined approach in overall management. In terms of recruitment, improvements should be made in market segmentation, increased promotional efforts, enhanced information services, and the establishment of a comprehensive evaluation mechanism for the quality of student sources. Regarding daily management and services, it is necessary to construct a sound management system for foreign students, promoting the formation and development of the "Study in China" brand. With China experiencing a growing trend in studying abroad, it has become the largest study destination in Asia. According to statistics, in 2023, 34.8 million international students from 196 countries and regions have enrolled in 1004 universities. However, as the scale rapidly expands, we must recognize the poor quality of Chinese study abroad education. The future focus should shift from "expanding scale" to "improving quality and efficiency," emphasizing the enhancement of study abroad services and the improvement of study abroad quality.

Research on the Development of the Chinese Basketball Industry

Professional basketball and the youth basketball development system are two main fields for improving the situation of Chinese basketball. By comparing the Basketball Professional League and youth basketball development systems between China and the United States, we discovered that the Chinese basketball system needs to be combined with education, the Chinese training model is outdated and incomplete, and the nationwide system has hampered the development of professional and youth basketball. Moreover, we found that China has a large number of basketball fans; national policies can help the development of the basketball industry; and China has rapid economic development. Eventually, Chinese basketball needs to focus on combining sports and education, absorbing advanced training systems, and establishing a sound management system.

Popularizing Science Among the Grassroots: Development, Existing Problems, and Countermeasures

The issue of improving scientific literacy has always been a social concern, and the formation of science communication teams plays an important role in improving scientific literacy. This paper examines the current state of domestic science communication teams, highlights issues in their construction, and offers suggestions for enhancing these teams. These suggestions include developing a sound management system, strengthening industry communication,enhancing public services, and drawing upon the management expertise of other science communication venues.

An Empirical Study of New Rural Collective Economic Organization in Alleviating Relative Poverty among Farmers

In the context of achieving common prosperity, this article explores the implementation path of the new rural collective economic organization designed to alleviate relative poverty by improving the livelihood strategies of farmers from the perspectives of the development level, operational capability, and governance ability of collective economic organizations. The article provides empirical evidence for how the new rural collective economic organizations can optimize governance and connect with the livelihood strategies of farmers to alleviate relative poverty. The data in this article are from the “China Family Database” of Zhejiang University and the “China Family Finance Survey” of Southwest University of Finance and Economics in 2017. Based on theoretical hypotheses, the HLM model is used to empirically test the mechanism of the new rural collective economic organization in alleviating relative poverty among farmers. The results indicate that, from the perspective of the direct action path, the development level, operational capability, and governance ability of the new rural collective economic organization have a significant direct impact on alleviating relative poverty. In addition, from the perspective of cross-layer interaction paths, the development level of new rural collective economic organizations can significantly strengthen the role of family operational income in suppressing relative poverty. Operational and governance capabilities can significantly enhance the role of household transfer income in inhibiting relative poverty. Therefore, the new rural collective economic organizations should adapt to local conditions, vigorously develop advantageous industries that can provide more non-agricultural employment opportunities to increase the operational income of farmers, introduce highly educated managers, and establish a sound financial management system to ensure the expected benefits for farmers as well as increase their long-term benefits.
