Penerapan Metode Case-Based Reasoning pada Website SORTING (Sorong Atasi Stunting) Sebagai Implementasi Smart City (Studi Kasus: Distrik Sorong Timur)

Stunting is one of the issues designated as a national priority issue at this time. Determining this priority issue is to accelerate the level of achievement of national development goals. East Sorong District, Sorong City, Southwest Papua Province is one of the focus location with a high prevalence rate. This study aims to develop an information technology called SORTING (Sorong Atasi Stunting) using the case-based reasoning method. This research produces a system that can be accessed from anywhere and at any time, which can be used by residents, especially mothers, to consult regarding their baby's growth problems. SORTING was developed using the expertise of nutritionists who usually deal with stunting problems. SORTING resulted in several conclusions that the application expert system can diagnose stunting by using the case-based reasoning method as an engineering approach to the knowledge base; The application of the SORTING expert system can provide an overview of stunting including the results of the percentage of diagnoses, factors and recommendations for solutions that must be taken; The application of the SORTING expert system can be used as a second alternative to consult with experts in diagnosing stunting. And it can also be an alarm to continue consulting with experts directly; The application of the SORTING expert system can increase knowledge about stunting. The researchers hope that SORTING can assist the government in the National Action Plan for Stunting Management which emphasizes reducing stunting rates and can help the community recognize stunting diseases early and prevent them.

Preferences of Traditional Market Traders in Deciding to Use Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard (QRIS) as a Transaction Tool

The preference of traditional market traders in using QRIS as a non-cash payment transaction method in the traditional market of sorong district is considered ineffective because the perception of traders towards the use of QRIS has a negative perception. The results of the study indicate that the Qris payment system is not ready to be used in traditional markets, especially the Traditional market of Sorong Regency. The four main factors that the payment system has not been continuity in its use are the perception of strongly disagreeing with QRIS providing benefits from other payment systems, as well as the perception of disagreeing with QRIS can increase sales, QRIS can increase the number of consumers, and the use of QRIS as a transaction tool that can protect personal data and transaction data when transacting, QRIS as a transaction tool that can guarantee access and data both personally and payment transactions. However, traditional market traders in Sorong Regency have a positive perception of QRIS as a transaction tool to speed up payment transactions, therefore the need for socialization to the public of the benefits of using QRIS as a transaction tool.

Mapping a Potential Location of Temporary Waste Storage Sites (TPS) in Sorong and East Sorong Districts using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Garbage is the result of waste from the activities of living things that are often encountered and cause many problems. One way to overcome the waste problem is to provide TPS. One area in Indonesia that does not yet have TPS facilities is in East Sorong and Sorong Districts, West Papua. This study aims to 1) determine the location of TPS in East Sorong District and Sorong District using the Geographic Information System (GIS), 2) knowthe recommended TPS type based on the mapping of TPS locations using GIS, 3) know the amount of waste generation in Sorong District East and Sorong District. The research phase begins with determining the sample TPS locations by looking at the parameters of the distance to built-up land, the main road and the river. Mapping the suitability of TPS locations using the GIS application. Determination of waste samples and waste collection to calculate the amount of waste generation. The recommended locations for TPS construction in East Sorong District and Sorong District based on the results of analysis using GIS and field surveys are: a) East Sorong District, which consists of the Klamana Village, the Klawuyuk Village, and the Klawalu Village. b) Sorong District, which consists of North Remu Village and Klademak Village. Waste generation in East Sorong District is 0.00816kg/person/day and Sorong District is 0.0122 kg/person/day.

The Topographical conditions of the villages in Makbon District are mostly located in coastal areas with a total of 15 villages/sub districts. Public facilities are facilities provided for the public interest in the sense of facilities that are used for the benefit of all society in carrying out and making it easier for society to carry out their daily activities. Increasing development in villages is really needed by the community, especially to stimulate economic activities. One of the contributions of the Saint Paul Sorong Polytechnic in Papua, especially in Sorong, is providing community service. There are several things that the lecturer team can do to help the community, namely making sub district boundary moments, making street signs and making street lights for the community service in Makbon to develop facilities and human resources (HR) for the quality of life of the people in Makbon district, Sorong regency, Southwest Papua Province.

Information System for Personnel at the South Sorong District Regional Personnel Agency Office

Due to the increasing complexity of globalization and technological advancements, the adoption of HRIS (Human Resource Information System) has become a key priority for government bodies and similar organizations. HRIS plays a vital role in effectively managing the workforce, particularly in the public sector. This research aims to enhance the efficiency of personnel data management processes in South Sorong Regency. The primary focus is on ensuring the security of employee data storage. Extreme Programming is utilized as the system development method, encompassing design, development, coding, and testing stages. PHP is chosen as the programming language, with a MySQL database for data storage. The black box testing technique is employed to guarantee system functionality and reliability. The implementation of this application demonstrates smooth operation, with testing yielding a high satisfaction rate among respondents at 93%. Consequently, the system is deemed functionally sound in delivering the intended outcomes.

Study of heavy metal in sediment of The Klagison River, Sorong City

The Klagison River is one of the rivers located in the North Sorong District to the Sorong Manoi District. The flow of the Klagison River is used by the sand mining industry to dispose of liquid waste products from mining sites. Mining activities are in the middle of the Klagison River so that it can affect the quality of river water and experience a decrease in carrying capacity due to the high level of turbidity in river water caused by sedimentation. The purpose of this research is to provide knowledge about the content of metal elements in sediments by identifying the constituent elements of the Klagison River sediments, Sorong City, West Papua. Determination of the sampling point using the purposive sampling method and the sediment collection tool using the Ekman grab. The method of analyzing the constituent elements of the sediment uses the XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) method. Based on the research results, there are various types of metal elements contained in the sediments of the Klagison River, namely the elements Al, Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Rb, Sr, Zr and Re where the dominant concentration of metal elements from 5 observation stations is Fe>Si>K>Cl>Al>Ca. At the 5 observation stations, the element Fe>Si>K>Cl>Al>Ca was the highest compared to the other 4 observation stations. This is because station 5 is the mouth of the Klagison River so that it becomes a place for liquid waste deposits to coalesce.

Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) on The Revision of The Spatial Plan of Sorong District Year 2012-2032

This research aims to analyze the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) in the revision of the Sorong Regency Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) for 2012-2032. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to achieve two objectives: (a) Provide a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon being studied, and (b) be sensitive in collecting descriptive qualitative information while maintaining the unity of the research object, which means the data in the case study is studied thoroughly. The results of the research show that (a) In the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) in the 2012-2032 Revision of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Sorong Regency, it was identified that there were 8 KRP Spatial Structure Plans and 6 Spatial Patterns that had the potential to influence environmental conditions, based on analysis of the impact of sustainable development issues on spatial planning policies; (b) The results of the analysis regarding the influence of sustainable development issues on policies, plans and programs show that of the 9 KRPs analyzed, only 3 items require a study of SEA content, while the other 6 items do not require a study of SEA content. In addition, of the 6 Spatial Patterns in the KRP, all require a study of SEA content; and (c) The purpose of the alternative formulation is to agree on improvements to the KRP based on the results of the alternative formulation, supporting follow-up steps will be formulated as a result of the implementation of the KRP.

Support For The Comprehensive School Health Model To Increase Reproductive Health Knowledge Of Elementary School Children As A Primary Prevention Effort

The research explores the impact of the Comprehensive School Health model on enhancing the reproductive health knowledge of primary school children as a primary prevention effort. In an era of rapid social and technological changes, early-age reproductive health awareness is crucial. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Comprehensive School Health model in improving the reproductive health knowledge of primary school children. The purpose of this research is to assess whether the Comprehensive School Health model significantly enhances the reproductive health knowledge of primary school children. It seeks to determine if this approach can be a viable strategy for primary prevention in the field of reproductive health. The study employs a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The sample consists of sixth-grade students from an elementary school in Sorong District, selected using total sampling. Statistical analysis included Wilcoxon tests and rank biserial correlation. The results indicate a significant improvement in the reproductive health knowledge of primary school children following the intervention. The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of <0.001, and the mean difference was -35.0, signifying a substantial increase in knowledge. The effect size was 1.62, indicating a significant impact, and a strong negative rank biserial correlation of -1.00 revealed a robust correlation between the intervention and knowledge improvement. This study concludes that the Comprehensive School Health model is effective in significantly enhancing the reproductive health knowledge of primary school children, with a substantial effect size and a strong correlation between the intervention and knowledge improvement. These findings emphasize the importance of early-age reproductive health education and highlight the potential of this model as an effective strategy for primary prevention in the field of reproductive health.

Community-Based Mangrove Ecotourism On Jeflio Island, Mayamuk District, Sorong District, Southwest Papua

The aim of the study was to analyze the value of coastal local wisdom of the indigenous people of Jeflio Island for the development of mangrove ecotourism. In the research method used qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data analysis includes analysis of local wisdom values. Based on research, the Jeflio community has local wisdom in the form of calls for conservation known in the form of recommendations such as "Nani Mi Wawolom Ti Eges Gu" (the native language of the Moi tribe), Pamali (prohibition) in certain areas/areas, Sasi - Customs and ceremonies," barapen" as well as local handicrafts such as making senate/mats, woven bags, "bayayai", boats, oars and spears. Local Wisdom Through Advice “Nani Mi Wawolom Ti Eges Gu” comes from the language of the Moi tribe which means protecting nature together. Local wisdom, such as local skills, traditional ceremonies and local values, is a cultural tourism attraction that can be empowered by tourism managers as creative industries to develop mangrove ecotourism to attract tourists and support local community economic development. One of the improvements in existing facilities in the Jeflio Mangrove Ecotourism Area is a souvenir shop that can be used to sell local Jeflio community crafts. In order to maintain and maintain the infrastructure of the Jeflio Mangrove Ecotourism Area, local wisdom values such as mutual cooperation and togetherness are very much needed. There are still weaknesses in the use of local wisdom in Jeflio because local wisdom owned by the community has not been legitimized.

Marine Resources Management in Sorong Regency in Environmental Communication Perspective

The potential of marine resources in Sorong district, West Papua is very abundant, especially in the fisheries sector and encourages the economy and development of the State and can prosper the surrounding community. Suboptimal utilization results in a less prosperous community so that many social conflicts occur that threaten the disintegration of the nation. This study aims to analyze the management of marine resources in Sorong Regency in the perspective of defense management using a descriptive qualitative research design. The results of this study show that the management of marine resources in Sorong Regency is still not effective and in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The economic aspect, the lack of understanding of fishermen related to the marketing system results in oligarchs so that those who benefit a lot are not fishermen. Ecological aspects, the use of fishing gear that is not environmentally friendly such as fish bombs and cantrang results in damage to marine ecosystems. The social aspect, open access management has resulted in fisheries production, both capture and aquaculture, starting to decline.

Pengaruh Penempatan Dan Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Kantor Pengadilan Negeri Sorong

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of placement and competence of human resources in the Sorong district court office. This study used quantitative methods with data collection techniques used, namely distributing questionnaires to consumers as many as 40 people. The results of this study were collected through questionnaires that were processed and analyzed using Multiple Regression. Then conducting data quality tests used are validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, normality tests, heterokedasticity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t tests, F tests and determination coefficient analysis. Tools used Microsoft Excel and SPSS Software. The results showed that placement and competence had a significant effect on employee performance.

Development of Blended Learning-Based Mathematics Learning Devices Viewed from The Learning Styles of Students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Mariyai, Sorong District

Learning mathematics at school still has low learning outcomes. There are students who have different learning styles who catch learning faster by using an auditory style or prefer to use the senses of hearing, visual or more focused by using the senses of sight and kinesthetic which are more likely to use the senses of taste so that the teacher must be able to create learning styles that suit the needs of students. The aim of this research is to develop an effective, practical, and valid Blended Learning-based mathematics learning tool in terms of students' learning styles. This study uses the Research and Development method. R & D research is writing that describes the development of a learning device product in stages. The results of the research show that the level of validity of developing mathematics learning tools based on Blended Learning in terms of the learning styles of students is said to be valid because they obtained scores of 0.75 and 0.8, the percentage of effectiveness was 73% for small-scale trials and 77% for large-scale trials, and the level of practicality of device development learning mathematics based on Blended Learning in terms of the learning styles of students is very practical based on the positive responses from the interview results.

Pelatihan Mitigasi Bencana Menggunakan Tifa Syawat pada Masyarakat Suku Kokoda dalam Mewujudkan Kelurahan Klawalu Siaga Covid-19

The Covid-19 pandemic is a global disaster that is entering its second year; along with the development of the disease, there are changes in disease patterns, such as mutations that give birth to several new variants with higher infectious power. In Sorong City, the number of positive cases was 6,145 cases, the number of deaths was 93 deaths, and the cure rate was 6,030 people. Klawalu Village, one of the villages in the East Sorong district, is a Community Service (PkM) partner and has been actively involved in preventing and handling Covid-19 cases. However, it is still found in public places such as markets, motorcycle taxi bases, and on the outskirts of the road; some people need to obey health protocols such as not wearing masks and crowding. This condition illustrates that education and appeals are not enough to change society to behave healthily. It is necessary to provide skills based on local wisdom in preventing and handling Covid-19 so that the community can independently recognize risk factors, prevent, maintain, maintain, and even improve their health degree. The results of the PkM activity showed that after being given Covid-19 education, as many as 32 (94.1%) participants had good knowledge, as many as 32 (94.1%) participants were skilled in mitigating the Covid-19 disaster, the formation of Covid-19 Alert cadres and the Covid-19 Alert Post Klawalu Village.

Gender dan Antikorupsi di Sektor Kehutanan di Kabupaten Sorong Selatan Provinsi Papua Barat

West Papua's forests are the lungs of the world, because it has the largest remaining forest and it is hoped that its sustainability will be maintained. Community life in the forest has become part of people's lives in South Sorong Regency, West Papua, which is very dependent on natural forests. Forest management activities by local communities are still dominated by men, this is in accordance with the local cultural system which recognizes the patrilineal system which prioritizes men who are more powerful and traditional leadership and village administration than women. Therefore, the issue of gender is very appropriate to be raised and discussed in this research in order to realize equality in adat and leadership in government. In addition, gender issues are linked to the anti-corruption context in the forestry sector in South Sorong Regency. The data used is primary data including data on 1) identity, 2) characteristics of household members, 3) household understanding of forests, 4) gender and forest utilization activities, 5) gender participation in forest management, 6) gender and corruption in forestry sector, and 7) understanding of and participation in the anti-corruption program, while secondary data is in the form of forest area data, Forest Management Units, Forest Farmers Groups, Forest Management Institutions; number of households in forest area, forestry profile of south sorong district, forestry statistics, forestry service annual report. The results of the study show that in terms of gender, men play a greater role in forest management, but also more involved in committing acts of corruption in the forestry sector.Keywords: gender, anticorruption, forest, participation

Pengaruh Harga Jual Minyak Goreng Bimoli terhadap Keputusan Pembelian di Toko Andika Distrik Mega Kabupaten Sorong

The problems faced by the community or consumers in the mega district are: the reach faced by the community in the mega district, the obstacle is that it is far from the mega district to Sorong district to shop in Sorong district so that the community or consumers can make decisions to be able to choose Andika shop is an alternative to be able to shop for Bimoli cooking oil at Andika shop, because Andika shop is very close in the Mega District and the reach of the public or consumers to be able to shop at Andika shop is very close so that it can ease the economy of the people or consumers in the Mega District, Sorong Regency. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of the tests conducted in this study stated that there was a positive influence between the selling price of bimoli oil and the purchase decision of 0.744 with a significance level of 0.000, less than 0.005. The relationship between the selling price of bimoli oil and the purchase decision at the Andika Store, Mega District, Sorong Regency is based on a correlation coefficient analysis (R) of 0.785 and based on testing the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.616 or 61.6% and 28.5% is influenced by other factors such as promotion.

Social Media Management by the Sorong Regency Government in Maintaining its Image

This study aims to determine the management of social media by the Sorong district government in maintaining its image as a developed district in West Papua by looking at various aspects such as the type of social media used, the content that is served and the purpose of publishing the content on social media. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews and non-participant observation and using purposive sampling technique in determining the informants. The results showed that the communication strategy of the Sorong district government in disseminating the government's work program through social networks was a strategy consisting of five planning stages, namely research, planning, implementation, measurement and reporting. The types of social media used are Facebook and Instagram. The information published on social media contains work programs that the Sorong district government has implemented to introduce these work programs to the community, hoping that the community will be able to evaluate all these work programs positively.

ABSTRACT The handling of Covid-19 cases must be carried out with the support of all parties, not only the responsibility of health workers because Covid-19 is a public health problem. The role of religious leaders is increasingly significant in the era of advances in information technology. The ease of influence and the role of religious leaders in controlling change significantly influence society. The primary purpose of community service activities for religious leaders is to act as an agent of health reform in the community during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This method of community service is socialization, training, and advocacy of the approach through the department of religion, and empowerment of religious leaders in the Sorong City area, Masimsa sub-district. Giving pocketbooks. The Role of Religious Leaders as Agents of Reform for Health in the Community During the Covid-19 Pandemic. Providing pocketbooks. Behavioral results obtained more pre-test scores with a level of understanding of less as much as 40, enough of as much as 48%, and Good as much as 12%, while Table 4.2 level of understanding Post Test after being given a pocketbook, health education was carried out on the Covid 19 pandemic and training with methods playing a role, the results obtained are more good levels of understanding (94%) and at least less (0%), so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the results of pre-test behavior with post-test behavior. Community service results can improve the behavior of religious leaders as agents of Covid-19 renewal. Providing Pocket Books, Health Education, and training on role-playing methods are very important in increasing the role of religious leaders. Religious leaders and religious people play an essential role in public health to become agents of change in health problems in the community by providing health information to the public. Religious administrators / Daily implementation of congregational assemblies help prepare infrastructure suggestions to support the implementation of health protocols and become an example in improving public health during the Covid-19 pandemic. KEPEMIMPINAN PENYULUH AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PEMBINAAN PENDIDIKAN INFORMAL MASYARAKAT MUSLIM DI KOTA SORONG

This study uses a type of descriptive qualitative research located in North Sorong District. This research approach is the guidance approach and the sociological approach. Primary data sources in this study were Islamic Religious Extension as key informants and additional informants, namely youth and community leaders. Secondary data sources in this study are books, magazines, internet, reports and documentation. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of this research data through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
 The results showed that the leadership role played by Islamic religious instructors in informal education for the Muslim community in North Sorong District was carrying out routine recitations, eradicating illiteracy in reading and writing the Koran and acting as an informant, consultant and advocate. The inhibiting factors for Islamic religious instructors in informal education for Muslim communities in North Sorong District are the misuse of social media and technology, the lack of discipline and the seriousness of society. Then, the solution provided by Islamic religious instructors is to optimize recitation activities, provide school financing through foster parents, provide motivation and guidance and familiarize children with carrying out Islamic teachings properly.
