Song Media Improves Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students on Two-Dimensional Figures

The current problem is that mathematics is complex because it relates to formulas and arithmetic. This impacts the low mathematics abilities of elementary school students in Indonesia, so they must be improved. Based on this, this research aims to analyze the influence of song media on the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this research were a total of 36 students. The method used to collect data is a test. The instrument used to collect data is the test question sheet. The technique used to analyze data is inferential statistical analysis. The results of the research show that the use of song media influences learning outcomes in flat-figure mathematics. The test results show that there are differences in learning outcomes between students who use song media and students who do not use song media in learning mathematics. It was concluded that song media can improve mathematics learning outcomes in third-grade students, especially in mathematics learning.

Using English Songs to Motivate the Senior High School Students to Learn English Vocabulary

This study aims to find out how English teachers use song to motivate students to learn English. This research took place at SMA Negeri 27 Bone, Bone regency, South Sulawesi. The participants taken by the researchers were students of class XI IPA, with a total of 7 students. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive method with a purposive sampling technique in selecting participants. The research instruments were observation and interviews. Based on the results of observations and interviews, the researchers found that students were very enthusiastic when learning while listening to songs and their vocabulary increased because they found many new words in the lyrics of the song, as a result they were very motivated again to learn English. Furthermore, the researcher concluded that learning English using song media can increase students' motivation and increase their vocabulary. Keywords— Motivation, Vocabulary and Songs Media

The Effectiveness of Utilizing Song Media in Enhancing Mandarin Language Vocabulary Proficiency Among Students

This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of using song media in developing students' Chinese vocabulary skills. The design used in this research is quasi experimental with the form of non-equivalent control group design. The population in the study were Kinderfield School East Jakarta students. The sample in this study used all members of the population, totaling 35 students, consisting of 19 experimental class students and 16 control class students. The research approach used is quantitative with a Quasi Experiment design, which involves two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. Data and data sources in this study include data obtained from interviews, field notes, and tests given to students. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentation, structured interviews, and tests consisting of pre-test and post-test. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with saturated sampling type. Data analysis techniques were carried out using quantitative experimental techniques, including validity tests, reliability, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample Test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics version 22 software. The study showed that students in the experimental class experienced a significant improvement in Chinese speaking skills based on the post-test results, and the mean score of the experimental class was higher than the control class, indicating the effectiveness of the teaching method using song media in improving Chinese language skills at Kinderfield School East Jakarta.

Pengenalan Bahasa Inggris di SDN Sugerkidul 3 Melalui Program English Time

In the current era of globalization, almost all daily activities have begun to include the use of English, so it is considered necessary to have English language skills. Seeing this condition, English learning began to be given at a low level in formal education, namely elementary school. The same is the case with the English Time activities implemented at SDN Sugerkidul 3 by the Jember Collaborative KKN Group 220. This activity was carried out with the aim of introducing basic knowledge in English to students of SDN Sugerkidul 3. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods because researchers try to describe the phenomena in the field broadly and thoroughly. Based on several considerations that have been made, this English Time activity is implemented using poster media and songs to make it easier for students to absorb and understand the learning provided during the activity. The media posters and songs are also expected to be used regularly and continuously by SDN Sugerkidul 3 itself. This English Time activity was also carried out because English is a subject that has just been added to the learning curriculum at SDN Sugerkidul 3. So this activity was chosen to make it easier for SDN Sugerkidul 3 to introduce this new subject.

Differentiation Learning Innovation in Realizing Students' Creativity

This research explores the application of differentiated learning innovation as an effort to realize student creativity. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Case study research is an in-depth research method that explores detailed information about a particular case, entity, group, or individual. Case studies can help identify solutions to existing problems and develop recommendations for improvement. The research was conducted on fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Rabbani Karanganom. The data taken is based on observations, documentation and interviews conducted at the school. The results of this research are one learning innovation by implementing differentiated learning using children's song media. Differentiated learning innovation for students through selecting a song related to the material. The song chosen was Islamic Ethics. Differentiated learning using songs can shape students' creativity. Students are free to create projects or tasks so that the learning process becomes fun. A differentiated learning approach not only enriches students' learning experiences, but also forms a generation of students who are creative, innovative and ready to face future demands.

The Use Of English Children’s Song Media in Improving Students Pronounciation

The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of children's song media on improving English pronunciation skills of fourth grade students of MI Bina Ummat. This study has a single group pretest and posttest design and is experimental in nature. Thirty children from the fourth grade of MI Bina Ummat became the study population. The t test was used in the analysis of this research data. The findings of the study showed that the children's song media had an impact on students' English pronunciation, with t count 8.101 > t table 2.042, an average value of 54.00 for pre-test data and an average value of 80.64 for post-test data . The difference in the average value is 24.64 with a percentage of 42%. The results show how much the student's pronunciation ability changes. The use of children's song media has an impact on improving the English pronunciation skills of grade IV students at MI Bina Ummat, according to these findings.

Application of Motion and Song Media in Mastery of "不", "没" and "Tidak" Which is Bahasa Indonesia Equivalents (Perspective of Applied Contrastive Analysis)

<p>Contrastive analysis aimed at comparing two languages that are not cognate but are sought for similarities. Contrastive analysis has two types: pure contrastive analysis and applied contrastive. Pure contrastive analysis is linguistic analysis that compares first and second languages in linguistic typology studies, while applied contrastive analysis is linguistic analysis that compares first and second languages to solve pedagogical problems of language learning. The results of this study come from boria songs that have been modified with the discussion of 不 (bù) and 没 (méi) in the song lyrics already contained the correct use of the words 不 (bù) and 没 (méi). In this study of motion media and songs 不 (bù) and 没 (méi), researchers make interpretations by pouring all movements and songs into stanzas and then the verse will be analyzed.</p>

Media Lagu dalam Pembelajaran IPS untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya

Learning media is often used in the implementation of effective learning so that students can be more involved in the classroom. However, many teachers continue to use traditional teaching methods, causing students to be less engaged in learning. Teachers can use song media as one of the learning media. The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze the research planning stages of using song media in social studies learning in class V SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. (2) Describe the results of the use of music media in social studies learning on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 20 fifth grade students. This study uses primary data sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions are the data analysis techniques used. The results of the study revealed that social studies learning with the media of European arrival historical songs included three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Learning planning consists of 2 stages: observation and study of literature. The stages of learning implementation are divided into three parts, namely preparatory activities, core activities, and closing activities. Learning is carried out at the assessment stage by examining achievements and deficiencies that occur during the learning process. The use of music media in social studies learning shows that the learning process runs smoothly and has the potential to increase student learning motivation.

Pemanfaatan Media Lagu “Hindia: Membasuh” dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Kelas X di SMKN 1 Rawamerta

This study aims to determine the effect of using the media song "Membasuh" by the Indies in improving the poetry writing skills of class X at SMKN 1 Rawamerta. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with an experimental design involving two classes; experimental class and control class. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Rawamerta by taking two classes as samples, namely class X TKJ 1 with a total of 36 students and X TO 2 with a total of 34 students. Researchers obtain data by conducting pre-test/pretest and final testposttest on both samples. Data collection begins withpretest, then do the treatment/treatment, and the last one didposttest. Data acquisition and analysis results show that there is a significant difference between the experimental class that uses song media and the control class that does conventional learning. These results can be proven in non-parametric testsMann-Whitney with Asymp results. sig. 0.00 < 0.05 which proves that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. The effectiveness of learning is proven by testingN-Gain Score on both samples. The calculation results prove that learning in the experimental class is more effective with an acquisition of 57.10% in the category of quite effective, compared to learning that is applied to the control class with an acquisition of 17.51% in the category of ineffective. Pemanfaatan Metode Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris melalui Media Lagu-lagu untuk Siswa

English is a language that the whole world has started to learn. Thus the language is also called an international language. In addition, this language has become one of the subjects taught to students in schools, institutions up to universities. Song media will motivate and increase students' learning interest in order to create a pleasant learning atmosphere so that students can understand the material easily. The purpose of this research is to improve English learning methods through song media. The results of this study are that learning English through songs can be a powerful means of improving students' memory and ability to speak English. Song media also influences students' pronunciation and listening skills. this can be proven by the ease with which songs are followed and remembered by students so that the language will stick with itself.

Prototipe Rancangan Pembelajaran Matematika Untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to explain the procedure for developing prototypes and producing quality prototypes for learning Mathematics in Elementary Schools. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The prototype was prepared using Sugiyono's six development steps including: 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) product trials. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. The results of the questionnaire which were distributed to 22 students in grade 15 of SD, the researcher obtained data that 60% of students had difficulty understanding fractional material. From these data the researcher was motivated to relate the material containing the concept of fractions to the song. Prototypes are validated by experts and practitioners. The average score of the three validators is 3.5 in the "very good" category, so it's worth testing. Limited trials were conducted by researchers to 22 fourth grade elementary school students. From the results of the evaluation, the researchers obtained data that 90.9% of students scored above the KKM for addition and subtraction of whole numbers. From the results of reflection, students are happy to learn fractional material using song media. The quality of the thematic Mathematics learning design for fractional materials using song media is included in the very good criteria and is appropriate for students' understanding. included in the very good criteria and feasible to use. This was obtained based on the results of validation by mathematicians 3.15, from music experts it was 3.41 and from grade IV elementary school teachers it was 3.21. The average validation result of the three validators is 3.25.

DENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION USING DANCE AND SONG MEDIA ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

Backgroud: Preschool-age children are an age group that is prone to dental and oral diseases, especially caries, in improving the degree of dental and oral health, one of which is the need to maintain dental and oral hygiene from an early age. Efforts to improve the dental and oral health of preschool-aged children are with efforts to promote, preventative and curatively simply. Promotive efforts can be done with dental health education with Purpose: This study aims to determine the influence of dental health education using dance and song media on the knowledge of preschoolers in RA Darussalam Tasikmalaya City. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental, with a one-group pretest and posttest research design). Result: statistical tests using Wilcoxon obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.000 indicating that there was significant knowledge of dental health education using dance and songs. Conclusion: there is an influence of dental health education using dance and song media on the knowledge of preschool children at RA Darussalam, Tasikmalaya City.

Application of the AIR learning model using song media to improve students’ mathematical representational ability

One of the overarching goals of teaching mathematics is the capacity for mathematical representation. Someone must be able to communicate through visuals, graphics, diagrams, or other types of representation. The learning model must enable students to play an active role in class, learn more through experiments, ask questions, and receive answers to their questions. This study aimed to determine the increase in students' mathematical representation abilities after following the Auditory intellectual repetition (AIR) learning model assisted by song media. This research method is a quantitative method with the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research was conducted at Ma'arif 5 Metro Middle School in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The sample for this research was class VII students, totaling 23 students. The test instrument is used for data collection. The data analysis technique uses a paired sample t-test. The conclusion of this study states that the Auditory intellectual repetition (AIR) learning model using song media can improve students' mathematical representation skills.

PENGGUNAAN LAGU ANAK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KOSA KATA BAHASA MANDARIN PADA SISWA SMP KEMALA BHAYANGKARI

The purpose of this study was to understand the effectiveness of using audio media for children's songs to learn Mandarin vocabulary. This research using classroom research methods and conducting a comparative analysis of the performance of the experimental group and the control group. In addition, the questionnaire method also used to collect student feedback about classroom teaching. The use of children's song media in classroom teaching can improve students' Mandarin language proficiency to some extent. In addition, this research shows that the use of appropriate children's song media in the vocabulary section help students learn. Because students are more motivated to learn new words, and it is easier to memorize vocabulary. Research results: The average value of the experimental group is about 20% more higher than the mean value of the control group. This shows that proper use of children's song media in the vocabulary section helps students learn new words. Because students learn new words become more active and easier to remember vocabulary.

EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA LAGU “RUANG RINDU” KARYA LETTO DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS PUISI DI MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 2 PALEMBANG

This study aims to a difference in the ability to write poetry in the tenth
 grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Palembang who participated in learning by using song media and without using song media. This study also aims to examine the effectiveness of song media in improving the ability to write poetry for students of class X in (MAN) 2 Palembang. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental method. There are two variables in this research, namely the independent variable in the form of song media, and the dependent variable in the form of the abilityto writing poetry. Data analysis techniques were carried out using t-test and score gain. The results of the t-test on the posttest core between the control class and the experimental class resulted. . These results indicate that the song media proved effective in learning to write poetry.

Arransemen Lagu Bertemakan Keselamatan Lalu Lintas Untuk Guru PAUD

Kindergarten is located in Bandar Seikijang District which is on the edge of the eastern causeway which is an accident-prone road. In addition, there is no curriculum related to traffic safety in the learning process. In overcoming partner problems, the service team provides solutions in the form of assisting the arrangement of the song with the theme of traffic safety which is applied to the curriculum in schools. The steps for implementing the solutions offered in overcoming these problems are four stages, (1) the preparation, (2) the activity, (3) the simulation and microteaching, and (4) evaluation. From the results obtained there is an increase in the result of 50% of the pretest and posttest questions. Then 85% of participants agreed to increase learning creativity with song media and 75% of participants felt this activity was useful and 85% of teachers really followed the course of the activity and teachers could cerate song lyrics with the theme of traffic safety and directly practice it by means of microteaching.

VOCABULARY IMPROVEMENT THROUGH SONG MEDIA TO CREAT A NARRATIVE STORY FOR CLASS 9 STUDENTS

This study aims to determine how song media in English learning can improve narrative writing outcomes in 9H grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batu in the odd semester of the 2018 – 2019 school year. The method used in this study is Class Room Action Research. which consists of 2 cycles, using a scientific approach, which consists of observing, asking questions, collecting data, associating and communicating. The conclusion is that learning English using song media in increasing students' vocabulary can be used as an alternative media to motivate students, especially in writing narrative stories. THE USE OF SONG MEDIA TO INCREASE STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN ENGLISH GRAMMAR LEARNING ON CLASS XI STUDENTS OF SMK NEGERI 4 LAHAT DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2019/2020

Student participation is an important aspect in learning, including learning English grammar. This study is intended to overcome the problem of student participation in learning English grammar by using the media song. With tone, authenticity and lyrics, the song gives the effect of feeling happy, motivated, as well as an example of language grammar in use. The research was conducted in class XI in accounting department of SMK Negeri 4 Lahat. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and tests/tests. Based on initial observations, a number of obstacles were identified, among which students looked passive and paid less attention to learning English grammar. The research team agrees that the core of the problem is learning which tends to be deductive in nature, that is, students are not given enough real examples. Otherwise, teachers only give students more with formulas. The research team reached an agreement on how to overcome the problem, namely by implementing English grammar learning using song media. At the first meeting, there was progress on what the CAR team was concerned about. Although there are still shortcomings, teacher performance is improving. In general, student participation also increased, except for a few aspects such as the absence of questions asked by students. However, the progress achieved in the first meeting can be maintained at the second meeting. Some advances tend to increase in intensity. The results of the pre-post-test of the second meeting even increased quite sharply. Overall evaluation at the end of the cycle, including taking into account student responses through questionnaires, shows the success of CAR.

Representation of Women Power in Beyoncé Knowless’ song “Run The World (Girls)”

Song is one of the propaganda media for ideolgy. Beyonce Knowless's song “Run the World (girls)” is an example of a song that raises the issue of Black Feminism Thought. This paper will discuss how textual and discursive practices through the signs in the text of the song lyrics and video clips of the song in constructing the paradigm of black women power or black feminism thought. By interpreting the structure of the text in the lyrics of the song and the visual signs in the video clip of the song "Run the World (girls)" to find meaning and ideology reproduced in the song. The results show that the dialectic of verbal and visual signs represents black women power and to bolster black women to become well-respected women especially by black men. The presence of this song is also related to the black feminist movement which propagates their ideology through song media. The independence of black women in the economic and educational aspectss, as well as the ability to bare children are discourses that are reproduced by the singer to make social changes in black women’s live.Keywords: Black woman, discourse, hermeneutics, ideology, Paul Ricouer

PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS CERPEN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA LAGU SISWA KELAS VIII SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 1 TIDORE KEPULAUAN

This research was conducted with the aim of (1) to find out whether the improvement of short story writing skills using the media song of class VIII Muhammadiyah 1 Middle School Tidore Kepulauan. (2) To find out how to improve short story writing skills by using the media song of class VIII Muhammadiyah Middle School 1 Tidore Kepulauan. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were grade VIII Muhammadiyah 1 Tidore Kepulauan Middle School as many as 25 students while the sample in this study was a total of 25 students as much as 100%. The results of this study are (1) Observation, Indonesian language teachers have taught students with learning material to write short stories through using song media and the teacher has carried out the learning process well in accordance with the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP); (2) Interviews, students interested and happy with learning to write short stories using song media. Media songs are very helpful for them in determining the theme they will make short stories. The theme presented is about friendship that is unique to their world; (3) The initial test (pretest) of students who get very good qualifications (SB) is 3 students by 12%, students who get good qualifications (B) as many as 5 students by 20%, students who get quite good qualifications (CB) as many as 9 students by 36%, students who get poor qualifications (KB) as many as 8 students by 32%, and students who get less qualifications (KS) as many as 0 students at 0%. Has not yet achieved an increase in value; (4) Final test (posttest) of students who get very good qualifications (SB) as many as 8 students by 32%, students who get good qualifications (B) as many as 11 students at 44%, students who get quite good qualifications (CB) as much as 4 students by 16%, students who get poor qualifications (KB) as much as 2 students by 8%, and students who get a score of 1 qualifier less (KS) as many as 0 students at 0%. It means that the use of song can improve students’ scoor in writing short story.
