Unveiling the Key Influencers in Smartphone Purchase Decisions

In this study, the objective was to delve deep into the determinants that sway consumer’s smartphone purchasing choices in Butwal, Sub-Metropolitan City. Analyzing the role of societal influences, intrinsic product characteristics, and the perceived brand reputation, the study delineates the fundamental considerations guiding consumers in the selection of smartphones. In the rapidly expanding smartphone market of Butwal, Sub-Metropolitan City, understanding the consumer’s criteria for smartphone selection and the most prominent influencer in their decisions is of utmost importance. The research relied heavily on primary data, garnered from 385 smartphone users within Butwal, Sub-Metropolitan City, through a meticulously crafted questionnaire, leveraging a convenience sampling strategy. To pinpoint the critical factors affecting customer’s smartphone buying tendencies, a combination of descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were employed, thus facilitating a robust process of inference. In this investigative journey, the nuances of product features, societal influences, and brand perception stood as independent variables, critically analyzed for their bearing on smartphone purchasing decisions. Correlation studies manifested a strong linkage between the dependent variable - the consumer’s buying decision, and all the outlined independent variables. Furthermore, the regression analysis highlighted the profound influence of brand perception, product attributes, and societal factors on the consumer buying trajectory. This study not only paves the way for insightful managerial and academic discourse but also stands as a beacon for scholars seeking theoretical directions in this domain. Moreover, the findings encapsulated in this study could forge a path for the creation of adept marketing stratagems in the realm of smartphones.

Role Of Brand Awerenes, Price and Product Innovation on Smartphone Purchasing Decisions In Sidoarjo

This descriptive research employs quantitative methods to investigate the intricate interplay between brand awareness, price, and product innovation in shaping smartphone purchasing decisions among 96 respondents in Sidoarjo. Employing a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling, the study utilizes multiple linear regression analysis through SPSS version 26 for data analysis. The findings underscore the pivotal roles of brand awareness, price, and product innovation in influencing smartphone purchase decisions in the studied region. This research contributes valuable insights into consumer behavior, offering implications for marketers and policymakers alike in understanding and leveraging these determinants to enhance the appeal and competitiveness of smartphone products. Shaping Smartphone Purchase Decisions with Brand Image Analysis, Product Quality, and Compelling Prices

This study aims to determine the influence of brand image, product quality and price on smartphone purchase decisions and also to find out and analyze the most dominant factors affecting Smartphone Purchase Satisfaction. In this study using a population of 9989 consumers according to PT. Bangga Teknologi Indonesia by using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 100 respondents, the data analysis technique used is a quantitative associative method with a verifiative approach. The series of tests carried out are validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression analysis for simultaneous testing. The results prove that brand image has a positive and significant effect on smartphone purchase decisions that based on multiple generation tests of brand image, product quality and price simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Influence of marketing communication on smartphone buying decision

Today, along with the increase in the number of smartphone users, marketing communications need to be personalised based on consumer interaction, with useful information while also providing a customer experience with high service quality to turn potential consumers into buyers. The mobile phone market in Vietnam is still growing market and is increasingly differentiated. The objective of the study is to explore the effects of marketing communication on the smartphone purchase decision of customers. The authors used qualitative and quantitative methods, applied to 255 consumer surveys using smartphones in Vietnam. The results show that there are 3 main groups of factors that affect the consumers' decision to buy smartphones, including communication by advertising through websites, communication through promotions, and communication by advertising through search engines. From the results obtained, the research team proposes some administrative implications for relevant organizations and businesses about the effects of marketing communications on the purchasing behaviour of the customer, thereby increasing consumers' smartphone purchase decisions.

Pengaruh Kualitas Produk, Citra Merek dan Gaya Hidup terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Smartphone Iphone:

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, brand image, and lifestyle on the purchase decision of an Iphone Smartphone. This research method uses quantitative methods. Variable measurement uses a likert scle with a vulnerability scaleof 1-5 through a google form questionnaire distributed to repondents. The population in this study were all 2019. FEB UPN East Java Veterans Students currently using or have used an iPhone. Sampling using proportional stratified random sampling and probability sampling. 100 students have a referee. Partial least squares (PLS) analysis was used to process the data. The results show that factors such as product quality, brand image and lifestyle have a positive and significant influence on the iPhone smartphone purchase decision of the East Java FEB UPN "Veteran" students of the year 2019.

Country of Origin and Brand Awareness on Smartphone Purchase Decisions

This study aims to determine 1) the effect of country of origin on purchase decisions for Samsung smartphones, and 2) the effect of brand awareness on purchase decisions for Samsung smartphones. The research employs a quantitative approach. Population consisting of students in Surabaya who are familiar with the Samsung smartphone brand and have either used or are currently using smartphones of that brand. The study's sample includes 105 respondents determined using a nonprobability sampling method, specifically convenience sampling, often referred to as accidental sampling. The data collection process was carried out by distributing surveys via QR codes linked to Google Forms to potential participants. Furthermore, the information collected was analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique, using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach, with the help of SmartPLS. The research results indicate that: 1) the country of origin has a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions, and 2) brand awareness has a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions.

 This study titled "The Impact of Product Design and Innovation on Redmi Smartphone Purchase Decisions among Bima City Residents" investigates the relationship between product design, innovation, and purchase decisions regarding Redmi smartphones within the community of Bima City. Employing an associative research method, the study gathers data from a sample of 50 respondents using Likert-scale questionnaires. The collected data undergo validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests before being analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings suggest that while individual product design may not significantly influence purchase decisions, innovation plays a vital role in shaping consumers' choices. When considering both factors together, the study reveals a strong correlation between product design, innovation, and purchase decisions, with a correlation coefficient of 0.768. This research highlights the considerable impact of innovation in driving consumers' preferences in the competitive smartphone market
 
 
 

The Effect of Product Quality and Brand Image on Xiaomi Smartphone Purchase Decisions

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and brand image on purchasing decision Xiaomi smartphone. The population in this study are Xiaomi smartphone consumers in the region of Rungkut Surabaya. The sampling method use is non-probability so that results obtained were 80 respondents. The measurement scale used in this studies is the Skala Likert scale. The data used is primary data, namely questionnaire data from answers to respondents and secondary data, namely data obtained from sales data and supporting sources for the research topic. The analysis used is partial least square (PLS)with validity test, reliability test, and hypothesis test. The result of the study, it was found that product quality and brand image has a positive and significant on purchasing decision smartphone Xiaomi.

The influence of product innovation and brand image on samsung smartphone purchase decision at bandung city

The buying decision for consumers is the result of various considerations in deciding to buy a product from various options that include the purchase of smartphone on the various choices available. There is a tendency because the majority of consumers to choose the brand from product innovation, price, service, and brand image for researchers try to reveal the magnitude of the influence product innovation and brand image about the purchasing decision of Samsung Smartphone brand at Bandung city. The method used is quantitative data analysis with multiple linear regression. The results of research from 100 samples taken provided information that product innovation and brand image had a significant influence on purchasing decisions by 49,5%. The variable that must be prioritized to get more significant influence is product innovation. Meanwhile, the product innovation variable is partially proven to have a greater constant than the brand image variable.

Pengaruh Citra Merek, Kualitas Produk dan Harga Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Iphone (Studi Kasus pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Bandar Lampung)

Although the iPhone brand is not among the best-selling smartphones in Indonesia, iPhone sales are still the highest in the world. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of brand image, product quality, and price on the iPhone purchase decisions of students of Faculty of Economics, Bandar Lampung University. A total of 79 student respondents were used as the sample for this quantitative study. Methods used include multiple regression, coefficient of determination, hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results show that brand image and product quality have a positive impact on purchase decisions, while price has a negative impact on iPhone smartphone purchase decisions. The F-test results show that brand image, product quality, and price together have a significant impact on purchasing decisions. These three variables have 58% predictive power in iPhone brand purchasing decisions, with other factors influencing the remaining factors.

Factors Affecting Smartphone Purchase Decisions of Consumers

This study aimed to pinpoint the factors influencing consumers' decisions to buy Smartphones in Kathmandu. The study examined how social factors, product attributes, and brand image affect consumers' decisions to buy Smartphones. The study focuses on the consumer's preferred method of choosing a Smartphone and which element influences that choice most. In the Kathmandu Valley, the demand for Smartphones is rising quickly. This study made use of primary data. The information was gathered from 394 buyers of cell phones in Kathmandu using a structured questionnaire and a convenient sampling technique. The elements influencing customer purchasing decisions for smartphones were found by using descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, which allowed for a good conclusion-drawing process. To investigate the Influence on purchasing decisions for Smartphones, product features, social factors, and brand image are used as independent variables. According to a correlation study, the dependent variable, consumer purchase decision in the purchase of a Smartphone, has a substantial association with all independent variables. The outcome of the regression analysis discovered that brand image, product attributes, and social factors significantly influence consumer purchasing behavior. The findings of the study are implacable for both the managerial level and the academic level. However, the study's findings can offer a researcher some theoretical direction. The results of this study may provide guidelines for formulating marketing strategies regarding Smartphones.

Analysis of the Effect of Product Quality, Service Quality and Brand Image on Samsung Smartphone Purchase Decisions

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of product quality, service quality and brand image on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphones partially and simultaneously for students of the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences UMSIDA. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The population of this study were students of the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences UMSIDA. The research sample was obtained using a stratified random sampling technique that is calculated using the Slovin formula, which is as many as 100 respondents. The research data were obtained using a questionnaire technique and analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that product quality, service quality and brand image had a positive and significant effect partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphones for students of the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences UMSIDA.

Analisis Pengaruh Online Review di Youtube, Citra Merek, dan Persepsi Harga terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Smartphone Oppo

This study aims to determine the effect of Online Review (X1) on Yotube, Brand Image (X2), and Price Perception (X3) on the Purchase Decision (Y) of Oppo Smartphones. This type of research is a quantitative research by taking samples from students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta batch 2019 - 2020, as many as 93 people who have purchased Oppo brand smartphones as research subjects. Sampling used purposive sampling technique, and data collection was carried out by survey method by distributing questionnaires. The data was processed using the SPSS application by conducting data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression tests, t tests and coefficients of determination tests. Based on the test results in this research, it shows that the Online Review variable on YouTube and the price perception have a positive and significant effect on the Oppo Smartphone Purchase Decision. While the Brand Image variable has a positive but not significant effect on the Oppo Smartphone Purchase Decision.

Hubungan Kualitas dan Harga dengan Keputusan Pembelian Smarthphone Samsung (Studi pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang)

This study aims to determine the relationship of product quality and price with the purchase decision of Samsung smartphones. This research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang as many as 100 respondents. The sample was selected using a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The type of research used in this research is descriptive exploratory with quantitative statistical research techniques. Data collection techniques in this study were through questionnaires, online media, books, journals and previous research. Data were tested using SPSS version 24.0 using validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, multiple correlation analysis and coefficient of determination analysis. The results reveal the fact that the product quality variable has a very strong positive relationship with purchasing decisions with a value of tx1y = 13.73 > ttable = 1.29025, the price variable has a very strong positive relationship with purchasing decisions with a value of tx1y = 12.05 > ttable = 1.29025, and the product quality and price variables have a very strong positive relationship with purchasing decisions with a value of tx1y = 39.89 > ttable = 1. The lower the product quality, the lower the Samsung smartphone purchase decision. The higher the price, the lower the decision to buy a Samsung smartphone.

Pengaruh Citra Merk, Desain Produk Dan Persepsi Harga Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Smartphone Samsung Di Kota Bogor

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Brand Image, Product Design and Price Perception on Samsung smartphone Purchase Decisions in Bogor city. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 200 respondents taken from users or those who have used smartphone Samsung. The tool used to collect data is a questionnaire and the data in this study were processed using SPSS version 21.
 The results of the analysis show that (1) Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a t-count of 6,945, which is greater than t-table 1.65 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. (2) Product Design has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a t-count of 3,708, which is greater than t-table 1.65 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. (3) Product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a t-count of 2,017, which is greater than t-table 1.65 and a significance value of 0.045 <0.05. (4) Brand Image, Product Design and Price Perception together have a positive and significant relationship to Purchase Decisions with an f-count of 29,567, which is greater than f-table 2.65 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.

Causality Validation of Three Marketing Mix Components and Interest in Smartphone Purchase Decisions

The field of technology has experienced phenomenal growth. Moreover, the evolutionof cellphones has become a major draw for customers. The aim of this study is tovalidate the effect of marketing mix components and interest in purchasing decisions forSamsung brand smartphones in the Tambaksari District (Surabaya City). A total of 498informants were recruited and interviewed for data collection on pricing, promotions,distributions, interests, and purchasing decisions at cellular kiosks and electronic stores.After the data were collected, they were analyzed using the multiple linear regressionmethod. The model feasibility procedure concluded that all seven hypotheses wereaccepted (p<0.05). In the direct effect, any increase in price, promotion, distribution,and interest can increase purchasing decisions. From the indirect effect, it is evidentthat interest is a consistent mediator in increasing its influence on price, promotion,and distribution on purchasing decisions. The marketing channel applied by the sellerinfluences consumer decisions through interest. This study’s approach should thereforebe developed through constructive consumer attention.

The Influence of Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Brand Image, and Word of Mouth on Samsung Smartphone Purchase Decisions

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of brand awareness, brandassociation, brand image, and word of mouth on purchase decisions. The populations in thisresearch are Banyumas citizen. The sample selection in this study was carried out bypurposive sampling. The samples used in this research are 100 samples. The data analysistechniques used in this research are descriptive statistics analysis, instrument test, classicalassumpsion test, multiple regression analysis, goodness of fit test, and hypothesis testing. Theanalysis result show that brand awareness, brand association, dan brand image has no apositive effect on purchase decisions meanwhile financial experience has effect on purchasedecisions.

The Effect of Perceived Quality and Brand Image on Smartphone Purchase Decisions

This thesis discusses the Influence of Perceived Quality and Brand Image on Smartphone Purchase Decisions. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived quality and brand image on smartphone purchase decisions. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. This research was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents. The classical assumption tests used in this study include the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and linearity test. The hypothesis testing includes the T test (ParsiaI), F test (SimuItan) and the Determination Coefficient Test. The research results show that there is a partial significant effect on perceived quality (X1) on smartphone purchase decisions (Y), this is evidenced by the obtained results of a significance value of (sig) 0.000 < (α) 0.05, so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted . There is a partial significant effect of brand image (X2) on the purchase decision (Y) of a smartphone, this is evidenced by the acquisition of a significance value of (sig) 0.001 < (α) 0.05. So that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Perceived quality (X1) and brand image (X2) simultaneously (together) have a significant effect on the decision to purchase (Y) smartphone, amounting to 0.000 <0.05 and f value 36,897 > t table value 3.06 this proves that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this is also shown in the R square value of 0.334 this means that the simultaneous effect of variables X1 and X2 on variable Y is 33.4%, the remaining 66.6% is explained by other variables not discussed in this study.

Faktor Penentu yang Mempengaruhi pada Keputusan Pembeliaan Smartphone: Studi Empiris Kabupaten Lampung Timur

Purchase decisions are strongly influenced by several factors. The purposes of this study focus on examining two crucial factors in purchasing decisions, which are promotion and location on Smartphone purchase. Respondents in this study are consumers from East Lampung Regency. Using statistics analysis study by multiple linear regression, this study proved that promotion and location have a significant effect on smartphone purchase decisions of the consumers. Strategically accessible locations and good promotions in fact will be increasing the purchase of Smartphone products at East Lampung Regency. This study also revealed that consumers have the same views and perceptions of products in the area.

An Effect of Smart-phone Purchase Decision Factors on Brand Trust and Purchase Intention Focusing on Apple and Samsung smart-phones

연구의 목적은 오늘날 스마트폰 사용자들의 트렌드가 반영된 구매 결정 요인들의 선행연구들을 근거로 정의한 네 가지 주요 요인들이 브랜드신뢰에 미치는 요인과 브랜드 신뢰, 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 각각 살펴보는 것에 있다. 연구대상의 범위는 세계 스마트폰 시장을 양분하고 있는 애플과 삼성 제품으로 한정하였다. 연구방법은 설문조사법을 활용하여, 2021년 10월 4일부터 22일까지 총 150부의 설문지를 배포, 실시하였으며, 중복표기, 누락 등 잘못 기재된 설문지 9부를 제외하고 총 141부를 수거하여 가설 검증에 앞서 각 변수의 신뢰성 및 타당성 측정을 위한 요인분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 가설검증을 위해 통계패키지로는 SPSS 25.0와 AMOS 25.0 을 사용하였다. 피험자들을 대상으로 실시한 빈도분석 결과, 스마트 폰 평균 사용주기는 2~3년으로 56%(79명)이었으며, 활용빈도에서는 동영상시청이 63.1%(89명)로 가장 높게 나타났다. 구매결정요인들이 브랜드신뢰에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 설정한 대립가설을 검증하고, 인과관계 분석을 위한 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 두 브랜드 모두 네 가지 요인들 중 브랜드 요인만이 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 마지막으로 브랜드요인이 영향을 미친 브랜드신뢰도가 구매의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 단순회귀분석 결과, 영향 정도를 나타내는 ß값에서 삼성제품이 0.349, 애플제품이 0.205로 도출되어 삼성제품이 다소 보다 높게 나타났으나, 통계적으로 큰 의미를 찾을 수 없었다. 브랜드신뢰도가 구매의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 가설은 전체적으로 귀무가설이 기각되는 결과로 나타나 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 도출되었다.
