Gesture Control Environment Using Sixth Sense Technology

This study proposes the creation of an interface that combines existing technologies such as the Internet of Things, image processing, and sixth sense etc., reducing the hardware constraints levied on users and improving system responsiveness. Sixth Sense technology is a gadget that uses image processing and hand gesture detection strategies to seize, we can also zoom in and zoom out. The implementation of this type of picture processing and recognition of gesture the usage of MATLAB is almost proven. “Sixth Sense/WUW (wear your world)” makes use of gesture recognition, augmented reality, computer vision, and radio frequency identification to develop Sixth Sense technology. Mapping may be done anywhere using the zoom in and zoom out features. The camera also allows the manipulator to capture images of the division they are observing and then assemble them on any superficial or surface. The device has a wide range of applications whereas it is portable, movable, and may be worn around the neck. This concludes that we are carrying a world which is digital with us and we can catch pictures anytime anywhere by just doing some simple gestures. Abstract: Villages are considered to be the heart of our nation India and the economic development of villages along with cities is also important to us. Therefore, in order to bring development to the grass-root level, the focus should be on the progress of the village. ‘Sixth Sense’ is a gesture interface that enhances the physical world around us with digital information and allows us to use natural hand gestures to interact with that information. Sixth Sense technology helps to bridge this gap between the tangible and intangible world. But the most important piece of information in this new age of technology that helps a person make the right decision is something that cannot be seen and analyzed by our natural senses. Sixth Sense Technology Concept is an attempt to connect this data to the real world in the digital world. Pin number theft recognition and cash transaction using sixth sense technology in ATM/CDM

Nowadays peoples using credit/debit card for cash transaction for their daily needs. Meanwhile for deposit and withdrawal of huge amount the consumers use the automated teller machine or cash deposit machine. Due to this the crime related to ATM like pin number theft, fraud calls etc increasing day by day. This paper aim to reduce the risk related to pin number theft. We proposed a sixth sense technology which can access by our gestural interface to do the normal operation for cash transaction rather than touching the pin number plate which will be helpful for eliminating the theft related with pin number tracking. The experimental prototype model is designed and the results are verified and presented in this paper.

In today‟s technological era, many technologies are evolving day by day. One such promising concept is HumanMachine Interface. For example, in a wired mouse there is no provision to extend limit. In wireless mouse, one should have Bluetooth hardware installed in the computer and Bluetooth dongle attached. The proposed technology will have no such limitations and will instead depend on gesture recognition. In this project, three technologies are mainly used: object detection, image processing and color recognition using „Sixth sense technology‟. Sixth sense technology is a set of wearable devices that acts as a gestural interface between the physical and digital world. The aim is to move the mouse cursor on the screen without using hardware such as a mouse and only by moving the cursor through finger movements i.e. the process of gesture recognition. In this paper, we present a novel approach for Human Computer Interaction (HCI) where cursor movement is controlled using a real-time camera.

This paper discusses a technology which is amazing everyone worldwide in today‟s time, which is “Sixth Sense Technology”. All human beings are aware of the five basic senses i.e. Sight, Hearing, Taste, Touch, Smell. Sixth Sense technology was developed by a man named Pranav Mistry, a Ph D student. „Sixth Sense Technology‟ is used to build bridge between the digital world and the physical world, bringing impalpable, digital information out into the palpable world, and allows us to interact with this information using natural hand gestures. The paper showcases the possible applications and opportunities of Sixth Sense. Furthermore, the implementation approaches are compared and the pros and cons of each approach are explored. Most importantly, technical challenges and open issues regarding each implementation approach are brought out. Furthermore, predictions are made on which approach is expected to succeed in the coming years. Finally, solutions are discussed to improve the Sixth Sense Technology with regards to its implementation approaches to insure new and better ways of human-computer interaction.

A New Approach of a Touchless Virtual Hand for SixthSense Technology

With the advancement of technology particularly the Human Computer Interaction (HCI), life has become easier and more comfortable. Taking the advantage of HCI we present a concept of Touchless Virtual Hand (TVH) to aid users a new and cheap way of experiencing multi-touch capabilities, without the need of expensive hardware or software. Our proposed Touchless Software Development Kit (SDK) incorporates a convenient Bengali Word Recognition System with the application of thrilling potential of SixthSense technology that can superimpose the digital information on the physical world. We use RGB color model for this application that can effectively enable the users to interact the physical world with the digital world.
