Javanese and Batak Tribes: The Role of Moderation in Parenting Style on Self-Control in Adolscents

This research aims to determine the influence of parenting styles on self-control which is moderated by ethnicity in adolescents. The research design used is a correlational quantitative design. Sampling technique using method convenience sampling. The research used 2 scales, namely the Parental Style Inventory II (PSI-II) to measure parenting style and the Brief Self Control Scale to measure self-control. The data analysis technique in this research is using moderated regression analysis and simple regression tests. The research results show that ethnicity does not moderate the influence of parenting style on self-control (P Int_1 = 0.5323 > 0.05). Besides that, independent testing obtained significant results (parenting style influence self-control). However, when there is a covariate (another variable present), namely ethnicity and controlled simultaneously, it becomes insignificant (in the test using Hayes).

Peran Fear of Negative Evaluation Terhadap Body Dissatisfaction pada Perempuan Emerging Adulthood

The aim of this study is to determine the role of fear of negative evaluation on body dissatisfaction in emerging adulthood women. Cluster sampling was used as a sampling technique with a total of 411 women aged 18 to 25 years in West Sumatra. The measurement instrument for fear of negative evaluation and body dissatisfaction used in this study is a questionnaire. The data from the questionnaire results were analyzed using a simple regression test. The results of a simple regression analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) which means that fear of negative evaluation plays a role in body dissatisfaction in the group of women in the emerging adulthood stage with a determination coefficient (R square) value of 0.230. This value means that fear of negative evaluation plays a role in 23% of body dissatisfaction in emerging adulthood women, while the remaining 77% is influenced by other factors

Pengaruh Penggunaan Kredit Usaha Rakyat Terhadap Pendapatan UMKM (Studi Kasus Umkm Komplek MMTC Medan)

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of People's Business Credit (KUR) on the income of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the MMTC Complex in Medan City. MSMEs have a strategic role in driving economic growth, but still face capital constraints. KUR, as a government-subsidized financing program, is expected to help overcome these constraints. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to 32 MSME respondents in the MMTC Complex in Medan who had received KUR facilities. Data analysis used a simple regression test to determine the relationship between the KUR variable and MSME income. The results showed that KUR had a positive and significant effect on MSME income. This is indicated by the t-count value of 9.951 which is greater than the t-table of 1.66088, and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that 76% of the variation in MSME income is influenced by KUR, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the study.

The Effect of Implementing an Accounting System on Profitability in MSMEs in The District Sandpaper Field

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of implementing an accounting system on profitability in MSMEs in Medan Amplas District. This research uses quantitative data. The data source used is primary. The data collection method uses a questionnaire technique. The population in the study was all 101 culinary MSMEs in Medan Amplas District. And the research sample was 36 MSMEs in the culinary sector that have been established since 2021 and have sales of more than 30 million per year. Data analysis using a simple regression test using SEM on SmartPLS. The research results show that the accounting system has a positive and significant effect on profitability of MSMEs in Medan Amplas District. So, it can be said that if the implementation of the accounting system in the 36 MSMEs in Medan Amplas District gets better, it will increase the profitability of MSMEs in Medan Amplas District. Pengaruh Brand Image terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan yang Dimediasi oleh Kepuasan Konsumen Produk Luwak White Coffee Mahasiswa/I di Kota Cimahi

In 2023, instant coffee sales in Indonesia will reach 234 million liters, an increase of 4% compared to the previous year of 225 million liters. Therefore, coffee producers are always innovative to provide products with excellent taste and quality. However, sales of Luwak White Coffee in the 2021-2023 period experienced an average decline of -2.83% from the previous year. The influence of brand image on consumer loyalty is measured through the experiences of Luwak White Coffee students in Cimahi City. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis. The population studied were students being studied in Cimahi City, with a sample size of around 90 respondents selected using the purposive method. The data analysis techniques you mentioned, namely simple regression and Sobel test, are generally used to test relationships between variables in the context of statistical analysis using SPSS version 26. The results show that brand image influences consumer satisfaction, customer loyalty and consumer satisfaction significantly, and consumer satisfaction plays a role in balancing the influence of brand image on customer loyalty.

Pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth terhadap Minat Beli yang di Mediasi oleh Brand Image pada Produk Lipstik Viva di Kota Cimahi

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of electronic word of mouth on purchase intention mediated by brand image for Viva Lipstick products in Cimahi City. The number of samples used was 90 respondents with a purposive sampling technique which is included in nonprobability sampling. The data source in this research was obtained through distributing questionnaires that have been declared valid and reliable and have passed the classical assumption test. To carry out hypothesis testing in this research using simple regression tests, multiple regression tests, and Sobel tests. The tool used to carry out the test is using SPSS version 26 software. The results of the research show that electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on brand image, electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, brand image has a positive effect on purchase intention, and brand image plays a role in mediating the influence of electronic word of mouth on purchase intention.

THE ROLE OF EDUCATION IN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT IN DISTRICTS / CITIES OF RIAU PROVINCE

The purpose of this study is to see the data and then analyze how big the role of education is with its indicator Average Length of Schooling (RLS) in improving human development with its indicator Human Development Index (HDI) in the Districts/City of Riau Province. By using data sourced from the BPS of Riau Province, namely Secondary data. And using a descriptive analysis method then strengthened by simple regression testing using panel data, using the Eviews 13 Statistics application. So based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the role of Education plays a very important role in Human Development in the Districts/City of Riau Province. Proven in partial testing, education (RLS) has a positive and significant influence on human development (HDI) which is indicated by a Prob value of 0.0000 which is less than 0.05. Meanwhile, the magnitude of the influence can be seen from the value of the calculation results obtained by the Determination Coefficient (Adjusted R2) in this study, which is 93.97%. Of course, in this study there are still limitations in problems that are not discussed thoroughly. However, the results of this study can be a reference in government policy to increase the role of education in human development in Riau Province.

Analyzing The Impact of Online Marketing on Students' Purchase Decisions on Shopee E-Commerce in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia

The study was driven by the growing trend of online shopping among students and the need to understand how digital marketing strategies impact their purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms like Shopee. This research aims to evaluate the influence of online marketing on the purchasing decisions of students at STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah Suryalaya, in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia, specifically using the Shopee platform. Online marketing facilitates the transaction of goods and services via the Internet, providing the convenience of shopping without time and space constraints and allowing consumers to select products based on their preferences. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach, involving 77 respondents selected through purposive random sampling. Data collection includes both primary and secondary sources, which are analyzed using simple regression, correlation analysis, determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that online marketing strategies significantly influence students' purchasing behaviour on e-commerce platforms, with a correlation coefficient of 0.694 and a determination coefficient of 48.1%. This indicates that nearly half of the variability in student purchase decisions can be attributed to online marketing strategies. Moreover, the study offers new insights into how specific online marketing tactics, such as targeted advertisements and social media promotions, uniquely influence student preferences and purchasing patterns. These findings highlight the importance of personalized marketing approaches in shaping consumer behaviour. The study also suggests that further research should explore additional factors influencing consumer behaviour in e-commerce to achieve a more comprehensive understanding.

The Principal's Managerial Influence on Mover Teachers in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum

The objective of this research is to evaluate the managerial influence of school principals on 25 dynamic educators in implementing an independent learning curriculum across six schools in the Gorontalo district. The study employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing questionnaires and a Likert scale (1-5) for data collection. Validation of the instruments is conducted using the product moment formula, and reliability testing is performed using the Cronbach alpha formula. Data analysis encompasses normality, linearity, simple regression, and hypothesis testing facilitated by SPSS Version 24.0. Results indicate a significant correlation between the managerial abilities of principals and the effectiveness of educator implementation of the independent curriculum, demonstrated by the simple linear regression equation: Y = 49.218 + 0.633X. Analysis of the data processing reveals that 66.7% of the variance in the educator's performance (variable Y) is influenced by the principal's managerial skills (variable X). In comparison, the remaining 33.3% is attributed to unexamined variables. This study underscores the importance of principals and motivating educators collaborating to articulate and disseminate the school's vision through a managerial framework that encompasses planning, organizing, directing, and supervising. This collaborative effort empowers both parties to actively engage and lead in fostering learning and school advancement.

The Influence of Archives Management on the Quality of Elementary School Services in Entikong Village

This research is motivated by the increasingly advanced technological era where there is more and more use of technology in terms of archiving, this has an impact on the lack of use of physical archives, based on this the researcher aims to describe the influence of archives management on service quality at elementary school especially on entikong village. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of research used in this research is causal associative research. The sampling technique is a saturated sample, namely a sample size of 30 respondents. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and test the validity of the data using validity tests and reliability tests. The analysis prerequisite tests use the normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing uses a simple regression test, namely the t test and multiple linear regression testing using the F test. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence between archiving administration on service quality with tcount>ttable with a determinant coefficient of 0.374. So it can be concluded that archives administration has a 37.4% influence on service quality, so overall it can be concluded that archives management has a significant influence on service quality at elementary school. With this research, it is hoped that all levels of teacher personnel and school principals can implement better archiving management in order to improve service quality.

Adversity Quotient as a Predictor of Self-Adjustment of Islamic Boarding School Students

Self-adjustment is an effort made by individuals in overcoming problems to harmonize self-pressure and the environment. Meanwhile, the adversity quotient is the intelligence a person has in overcoming difficulties and being able to survive. A person's adversity quotient can be measured by their ability to overcome every problem in life without giving up hope. The method used in this research uses quantitative research methods with a correlational research design. There were 169 participants in this research. Data analysis in this study used a simple regression test. The results of the research show that the adversity quotient is able to predict students' self-adjustment abilities while studying at Islamic boarding schools. Adversity quotient can be an internal aspect of students that can be improved so that students are able to adapt to changing conditions while studying at Islamic boarding schools.

Development of Technopreneur Leadership to Improve High School Teachers' Teaching Performance: Innovative Approaches in Education

This study aims to describe technopreneur leadership development as an innovative approach to improving the teaching performance of high school teachers. The research method used is quantitative survey research with teachers as research respondents with a sample of 54 respondents based on non-probability sampling techniques with saturated sample types. The data collection technique was used through a closed Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple correlation and regression tests. The results showed that technopreneur leadership development can positively impact the teaching performance of high school teachers. Technopreneur leadership development involves introducing and applying relevant technology in the learning process, the development of digital skills and information literacy for teachers, and establishing a culture of quality in schools. In this context, technopreneur leadership plays a role in facilitating teachers to adopt technology effectively, deal with change, motivate and empower education staff, and create a supportive environment for innovation. This research is an important contribution to understanding the importance of technopreneur leadership development as an innovative approach to improving the teaching performance of high school teachers.

Pengaruh Loyalitas Fanbase Alwi Assegaf terhadap Sikap Menonton Sinetron Raden Kian Santang di MNCTV

Mass media and the current information technology, can provide positive and negative impacts. One of them is the visual television program that can influence the public's viewing attitude. This study aims to measure the Influence of Alwi Assegaf's Fanbase Loyalty on the Attitude of Watching Raden Kian Santang, a television program that is famous for the presence of Alwi Assegaf as one of the main roles in it. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to active Alwi Assegaf fanbase members with a sample size of 84 people. This study has two variables, namely Fanbase Loyalty and Viewing Attitude. The audience loyalty variable in this study is measured using the dimensions of Internal Involvement, External Involvement, Desire to Acquire and Interaction. To measure the viewing attitude variable, this study uses the dimensions explained by Suryanto, namely, Cognitive, Affective and Conative. The results of the study indicate that Alwi Assegaf Fanbase Loyalty is a variable that has been studied and obtained a positive assessment, this has been proven through the total average value that has been calculated at 44.39, Attitude to watch Raden Kian Santang is a variable that has been studied and obtained a positive assessment, this has been proven through the total average value that has been calculated at 42.42, For a simple regression test, the results obtained were 0.826, which means that the relationship or correlation between the Alwi Assegaf Fanbase Loyalty variable has a high or strong influence on the Raden Kian Santang Watching Interest variable. For the hypothesis test, the results obtained were 1.663. The calculated t value (3.594)> t table (1.663) then it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which shows that there is an influence between the Alwi Assegaf Fanbase Loyalty variable! (X) with the Attitude to Watch Raden Kian Santang

Pengaruh Kedisiplinan Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas II SD Negeri 1 Towangsan

This research is based on the problem of students who are not disciplined before and after learning begins, students are often late for class, do not pay attention to the teacher during the learning process and often make noise in class. The aim of this research is to describe 1) The learning discipline of class II students at SD Negeri 1 Towangsan, 2) The learning outcomes of class II students at SD Negeri 1 Towangsan, 3) The influence of learning discipline on the learning outcomes of class II students at SD Negeri 1 Towangsan, Gantiwarno, Klaten Regency. Lesson 2023/2024. This type of research is quantitative. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. This research took all members of the class II population of SD Negeri 1 Towangsan, totaling 13 students. Analysis techniques and use validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive statistical analysis, normality tests, linear tests, simple regression tests, and coefficient of determination tests. The results of research using descriptive statistical analysis show that student learning discipline is in the medium category with a percentage of 37% and student learning outcomes are in the medium category with a percentage of 52%. This is proven by the significance value of the simple linear test being smaller than the significance level, namely 0.001 < 0.05 and the calculated t value being greater than the X table, namely 2.706 > 1.796. The coefficient of determination is 0.400, which means that the discipline variable is able to explain 40% of student learning outcome variables, while 60% is influenced by other variables not included in this research.

The Influence of Social Media Marketing of A Beauty Service SME on the Customer Purchase Decision

This study aims to determine the description of Instagram social media marketing and purchasing decisions at MUA Amei Makeup, and to determine the effect of Instagram social media marketing on purchasing decisions at MUA Amei Makeup. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive and verification approaches. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. In collecting data, researchers used observation, interviews and questionnaires. The sampling technique is probability sampling, where each member has the same opportunity to be selected as a sample. The population of this study were MUA Amei Makeup Instagram followers with a total of 1963 people, so a sample of 95 people was obtained. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, simple regression test, t test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that Instagram social media marketing had a positive effect on purchasing decisions at MUA Amei Makeup by 31.3% while the remaining 68.7% was influenced by other variables such as marketing mix, socio-cultural influences, and communication consisting of advertising, buzz agents and word-of-mouth which were not examined in this study

Pengaruh Konsep Diri Terhadap Penyesuaian Diri Siswa Di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi

This study aims to discribe the level of self concept, the level of self adjustment and the influenceof self concept on student self adjustment at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City. The study used a quantitative research with expost-facto method. The population this study were phase F class student of SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City with a sample of size 59 student taken from purposive technique. The data collection tool used is questionnaire with a likert scale and data analysis used through the percentage test and simple regression test. The result showed that the level of student self concept was at low level 36%, the level of student self adjustment was at low level of 32% and showed that self concept had significant effect on student self adjustment of 26,9% which was at a fairly strong level.

The Influence Of Religiosity On Islamic Consumption Behavior Patterns At Mahasantri Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UINFAS Bengkulu

The aim of this research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of religiosity on Islamic consumption behavior patterns at Mahasantri Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UINFAS Bengkulu. This type of research is quantitative research with a regressional approach. The data collection techniques for this research are questionnaires and documentation. The data validity technique is testing the validity and reliability of the data. The data analysis techniques are normality test, homogeneity test, regression linearity test, data hypothesis test (t test), simple regression test, and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this research are that there is a significant influence between religiosity on Islamic consumption behavior patterns at Mahasantri Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UINFAS Bengkulu. This is known from the results of the hypothesis test which was carried out using a simple regression test. The calculation result was that the value b = 0,348 which means that every time variable X (religiosity) increases by one, the average of variable Y (Islamic consumption behavior) increases by 0,348. Likewise, the t count value obtained is 3,845 and the t table value is 1,668 so the t count > t table or 3,845 > 1,668 so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an influence of religiosity on Islamic consumption behavior patterns at Mahasantri Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UINFAS Bengkulu. Meanwhile, the calculation result of R Square (R2) is 0,625 which shows that there is an influence of religiosity on Islamic consumption behavior of 62,5%, while 37,5% is where Islamic consumption behavior is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

THE EFFECTS OF SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE ON ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF YOUTHS IN KANIBUNGAN VILLAGE, PITAS

Youths today deal with many challenges, such as gaining better academic success and maintaining psychological well-being. In dealing with these challenges, one of the factors that might predict youths’ academic success and psychological well-being is spiritual intelligence. Therefore, a study was conducted to examine the effects of spiritual intelligence on youths’ academic achievements and psychological well-being. Two hundred fifty youths from the Emmanuel Christian Fellowship group of Kanibungan village, Pitas took part in this study. A set of questionnaires, which consisted of four sections, were used to measures the youths’ demographic profiles, academic achievements, spiritual intelligence, and psychological well-being. The research hypotheses were analysed using the simple regression test. Results showed that spiritual intelligence can stand as a predictor for both academic achievements and psychological well-being. Spiritual intelligence can be explained for 40% of the variance on academic achievement (β=.64, F(1, 248) = 169.677, p < .05). In addition, spiritual intelligence explained 25% of the psychological well-being (β=.50 F(1, 248) = 84.656, k < .05). The results revealed that the higher a youth’s spiritual intelligence, such as when applying spiritual values when dealing with problems and adapting to new environments, the higher a student’s academic achievements and psychological well-being. The findings allow us to reflect on how, aside from the intelligence quotient, spiritual intelligence is important for youths’ academic success and psychological well-being. Instilling spiritual intelligence in youths may give them strength and faith when meeting the challenges of today’s world.

Pengaruh Eksistensi Ekstrakurikuler Tahfidz terhadap Kecerdasan Intelektual Peserta Didik Kelas VI MI Muhammadiyah Ngadirejan

The existence of extracurricular tahfidz is a way for humans to express themselves or the potential that exists within them, so that their existence can be useful or meaningful through activities outside of lessons in order to help students develop their potential according to their interests and talents, one of which is extracurricular tahfidz (memorization). Problems that are often faced in extracurricular tahfidz are family factors, students' ability to read and memorize the Koran. This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of the existence of tahfidz extracurriculars on the intellectual intelligence of class VI students at MI Muhammadiyah Ngadirejan. This research is verification research with a quantitative approach. This research used a limited population, namely all MI Muhammadiyah Ngadirejan students with a total of 167 students. The sample used was class VI with a total of 30 students. The sampling technique is using random sampling (simple random sampling). Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and observation. Instrument development uses validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique in this research uses the classic assumption test and simple regression test and to answer the hypothesis uses the T test. Based on the research data analysis using the T test, the significance value of the influence of the existence of extracurricular tahfidz (X) on intellectual intelligence (Y) is 0.006 < 0, 05 and the calculated t value is 2.965 > t table value 2.048. This shows that the existence of extracurricular tahfidz has a partial influence on intellectual intelligence. And based on the coefficient of determination of extracurricular existence, Tahfidz has an influence on intellectual intelligence of 24% and the remaining 86% is influenced by other variables.

The Influence of Reading Literacy Culture on Reading Interest of Class V Students at MI Negeri 3 Pekanbaru

This research was motivated by the less than optimal implementation of a reading literacy culture at MI Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. Even though the school has implemented a reading literacy culture, fifth grade students still face challenges in increasing their interest in reading. The obstacles in implementing this are the lack of interest of students, low enjoyment of reading, and lack of awareness of the importance of literacy. However, the school always tries to facilitate students to develop an interest in reading. This research aims to identify how much influence reading literacy culture has on the reading interest of class V students at MI Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. Through a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research design. The population used in this research was class V students, totaling 103 students. By using the Slovin formula and a confidence level of 10%, a sample of 52 people was obtained. Data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaires, instrument testing uses validity and reliability. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and prerequisite tests, namely normality and homogeneity tests, hypothesis testing in the form of a simple liner regression test using the conditions Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on data processing from research results with a sample size of 52 class V students at MI Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the implementation of a reading literacy culture on the reading interest of students in class VMI Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, in other words the proposed hypothesis accepted, namely Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. As the total influence is 0.331 with the influence being positive. This means that the better the reading literacy culture, the better the students' interest in reading.
