DDS: Deepfake Detection System through Collective Intelligence and Deep-Learning Model in Blockchain Environment

With the spread of mobile devices and the improvement of the mobile service environment, the use of various Internet content providers (ICPs), including content services such as YouTube and video hosting services, has increased significantly. Video content shared in ICP is used for information delivery and issue checking based on accessibility. However, if the content registered and shared in ICP is manipulated through deepfakes and maliciously distributed to cause political attacks or social problems, it can cause a very large negative effect. This study aims to propose a deepfake detection system that detects manipulated video content distributed in video hosting services while ensuring the transparency and objectivity of the detection subject. The detection method of the proposed system is configured through a blockchain and is not dependent on a single ICP, establishing a cooperative system among multiple ICPs and achieving consensus for the common purpose of deepfake detection. In the proposed system, the deep-learning model for detecting deepfakes is independently driven by each ICP, and the results are ensembled through integrated voting. Furthermore, this study proposes a method to supplement the objectivity of integrated voting and the neutrality of the deep-learning model by ensembling collective intelligence-based voting through the participation of ICP users in the integrated voting process and ensuring high accuracy at the same time. Through the proposed system, the accuracy of the deep-learning model is supplemented by utilizing collective intelligence in the blockchain environment, and the creation of a consortium contract environment for common goals between companies with conflicting interests is illuminated.

The role of mobile value and trust as drivers of purchase intentions in m-servicescape

Building on the premises of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), this study introduces the concept of mobile servicescape (m-servicescape) and explores the drivers of purchase intentions in the mobile service environment. Data were collected from a sample of 284 service mobile users and analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results show that the dimensions of m-servicescape (i.e., aesthetic appeal, perceived security, and layout and functionality) generate mobile value (i.e., hedonic and utilitarian), which in turn, leads to user purchase intentions. Utilitarian value was found to have a higher effect on purchase intentions than hedonic value and trust was found to enhance this effect. We highlight theoretical contributions and offer managerial insight for mobile marketers and designers on the specificities of consumer behavior in the service mobile environment.

An Emergency Alert Broadcast Based on the Convergence of 5G and ATSC 3.0

We propose a novel emergency alert broadcast mechanism for mobile phone users, which is based on the convergence of 5G and ATSC 3.0. Cellular networks including 5G adopt a broadcast technique for emergency alert. This technique just delivers a text-based message. Moreover, the message only includes a limited number of characters. Therefore, cellular networks cannot afford to provide abundant information in emergency cases. Broadcast networks such as ATSC 3.0 also offer an emergency alert broadcast service. This service can deliver a multimedia-based message in emergency cases. Therefore, the ATSC 3.0 supports more abundant information in the cases of emergency alert broadcasts. Especially, the ATSC 3.0 employs wake-up functionality and location information, which enables the delivery of emergency alerts to idle-state receivers in emergency areas. However, it is unlikely that the wake-up functionality and the location information are directly applicable to mobile phone users due to some practical issues. In order to improve the emergency alert broadcast service in mobile environments, we converge the 5G and the ATSC 3.0 networks, which effectively exploits the advantages of the networks. For the convergence network, we suggest a modified table, which associates the 5G message with the ATSC 3.0 message in the cases of emergency alerts. We also present a novel scenario for delivery of the emergency alert messages. Simulation results show that the convergence significantly enhances the receiver performance for emergency alert broadcast.

Study on the Storage Virtualization Technology for Smart Work Service in Mobile Environment

Background/Objectives: As the paradigm changes with technological advancement and information society, next-generation products that can access information anytime, anywhere through mobile Internet devices through Smart work are being released. In particular, in the coronavirus era, there is a lot of interest in the introduction of Smart work. Methods/Statistical analysis: Companies that only pursued work in the office tend to support a free and creative work environment that goes beyond temporal and spatial restrictions. In addition, we are hoping for collaboration, efficiency, and organizational innovation through smart work communication. The introduction of Smart work by companies can be expected to have a positive impact on companies. Findings: Therefore, in this paper, we intend to provide a safe Smart work service through research and application of storage virtualization technology. In other words, a Smart work service was designed by securing the technology for operating the latest operating system based on mobile virtualization technology and storage virtualization technology, which is the core of mobile security. Improvements/Applications: The storage virtualization-based mobile work service proposed in this paper can be used for mobile terminals and special security-enhanced terminals that require high security in mobile environments. In addition, it can be used for mobile financial services for safe payment/payment such as electronic payment and internet banking, and prevents corporate information leakage and illegal access by unauthorized users in work environments such as Smart work using mobile terminals.

WeChat knowledge service system of university library based on SoLoMo: A holistic design framework

In this study, we develop a WeChat knowledge service system (WKSS) in university library based on SoLoMo. The aim is to build a comprehensive, open, mobile and smart knowledge service environment. It can realise the interaction between the three users, library and knowledge, and promote the dissemination and sharing of knowledge. By referencing the Internet frontier concept SoLoMo, this study designs a new mobile smart service system, including the system architecture design, the content design and the data association design. Then, this study develops the system, including the running environment configuration, the development of workflow, the core module and the system implementation. This system enables the provision of accurate, specific and more personalised service to each user. It also includes a portable mobile terminal to increase the accuracy of context awareness and enhance user convenience. This study makes up for the shortcomings of the library and increases the functions of personalisation, mobility and intelligence. It extends the way of mobile service in libraries and provides readers with better library mobile services, which was liked by readers.

360-Degree Video Traffic Reduction Using Cloud Streaming in Mobile

Recently, commercialization of 360° video streaming service and various studies are being conducted in a mobile environment. It also makes 360° video streaming service through a mobile cloud available. The mobile cloud can easily provide characteristics of the terminal and existing features of the cloud service, such as contents and service of the application, in the mobile environment. Using this function, it is applied to 360° video streaming services in mobile environment. Unlike the conventional filming method which only shows the angle that camera operator intended, 360° videos can display the direction desired by the viewer in real time by recording a view in every direction at the same time. By displaying the real-time 3D image information to the user, the viewer can have more realistic contents and interactive experience. 360° video typically has a resolution of 4 k or more, which causes network load in mobile streaming. The adaptive HTTP streaming service currently provides 360 resolution video streams in proportion to their bandwidth. However, this method is not responsible for the quality of the video. Therefore, we propose a high-quality video streaming method with low network load in mobile environment. 360 video is divided into FoV (field of view) and non-FoV, and the image is transmitted with high quality for FoV and low quality for non-FoV. In this paper, we propose a method of FoV on the background frame (FBF) differentiated from the existing Http adaptive streaming method. It is possible to view high resolution video in a mobile environment while maintaining a regular level of video quality even in a non-viewing area.

Optimal Information Centric Caching in 5G Device-to-Device Communications

Device-to-Device (D2D) communications are a prominent feature of 5G systems, introduced to provide a native support to distributed services in mobile environments. D2D technologies enable straight interactions between mobile terminals without a compulsory involvement of base stations. In this manuscript, we study and propose an optimized caching strategy to content distribution on top of D2D technology, based on Information Centric Networking (ICN) principles. The rationale is that ICN architectures can provide seamless support to mobile services and decouple contents from node identifiers, thus providing a promising match with D2D requirements. To this end, a novel fluid-based model in proposed hereby that catches the interplay between ICN functionalities, D2D requirements, and 5G specifications. Then, based on this model, an optimal content replication problem is formulated, encompassing caching overhead and system load. Additionally, this problem is thoroughly analyzed to prove that it has an optimal solution with time threshold form. A practical algorithm $\varsigma ^*$ -OCP is further proposed in order to implement the optimal caching control in realistic environments. Finally, a massive simulation campaign is carried out to test the proposed algorithm in comparison to state-of-the-art solutions.

On personalized cloud service provisioning for mobile users using adaptive and context-aware service composition

Cloud service providers typically compose their services from a number of elementary services, which are developed in-house or built by third-party providers. Personalization of composite services in mobile environments is an interesting and challenging issue to address, given the opportunity to factor-in diverse user preferences and the plethora of mobile devices at use in multiple contexts. This work proposes a framework to address personalization in mobile cloud-service provisioning. Service personalization and adaptation may be considered at different levels, including the user profile, the mobile device in use, the context of the user and the composition specification. The user’s mobile device and external services are typical sources of context information, used in our proposed algorithm to elicit context-aware services. The selection process is guided by quality-of-context criteria that combine cloud-service provider requirements and user preferences. Hence, the paper proposes an integrated framework for enhancing personalized mobile cloud-services, based on a composition approach that adapts context information using a common model of service metadata specification.

Time-slot-based point of interest recommendation on location-based social network

Point-of-interest (POI) recommendation on location-based social network (LBSN) is an important service in mobile environment. POI recommendation recommends places that users have not visited before. In this paper, we introduce time slot to describe the feature vector of locations. We consider that the locations that user has visited may reflect user's preference. Hence, we calculate the similarity between the visited locations and the unvisited locations. Meanwhile, we consider the influence of the physical distance and the weight of the visited locations. We conduct an experiment and the experimental results show that our method has better precision and recall than the other two methods.

Traffic management in the mobile edge cloud to improve the quality of experience of mobile video

The use of mobile network traffic is increasing due to the development of communication devices such as smart phones. Data traffic accounts for more than voice traffic. Video traffic accounts for the largest proportion of mobile data traffic and this proportion is increasing. However, various mobile environments affect the status of the mobile network and limit the provision of video services using the Internet. Therefore, a method for improving the quality of experience (QoE) of a video service in mobile environments is required. This paper presents a traffic management method using the mobile edge cloud. The mobile edge cloud is placed in the mobile edge network and monitors the status of mobile terminals. Through the mobile edge cloud, it becomes possible to effectively manage the traffic of mobile terminals by the network. The proposed method manages video traffic from the content server on the Internet according to the edge network status and mobility of a mobile terminal, and provides video traffic to mobile terminals. This method, using the mobile edge cloud, leads to improvement of the QoE for mobile video users. The superiority of this method compared to currently available systems was validated by computer simulation.

Self-adaptive deployment of services in mobile environments: a study of the communication reliability on the host election algorithm

Self-adaptive service deployment and replication are one of the possible approaches to address the changing computational conditions of mobile-based environments in order to ensure certain quality attributes of the system. The host election for the dynamic placement of service replicas is one of the main steps in the process to ensure the availability, reliability and performance in mobile distributed systems. The reliability of the host election algorithm is essential for the proper functioning of these systems. However, its distributed execution may be affected by the dynamic conditions of the mobile network. This paper presents an analysis of the reliability of an election algorithm on the basis of two different transmission protocols: TCP, a reliable protocol, and UDP, a non-reliable transmission protocol. The election algorithm is part of a self-adaptive architecture designed to address the availability of the services deployed in dynamic mobile network environments.

Network‐aware service composition in mobile environment

SummaryIn the mobile environment, users will use mobile devices to enjoy different services, such as surfing the Internet, shopping online, or paying bills. And the network latency will greatly affect the performance of services, which influences the users using experience at the same time. Many service selection methods have treated network latency as QoS, but they do not consider the issue of user's mobility that resulting inconstantly changing of latency when existing information transmission between the user and services in mobile environment. So it is meaningful to take it into consideration to select globally optimal service to solve the practical problem. In this paper, we consider the user's movement, estimate the network latency by Euclidean distance, and propose a service composition algorithm in mobile environment to provide the best service scheme with the basic idea of dynamic programming. Finally, we make experiments by changing different factors and obtain lower latency compared with the traditional method; reflecting service composition algorithm in mobile environment can better adapt to the user's mobility and uncertain times of interaction between the user and services. K Nearest Neighbor Search for Location-Dependent Sensor Data in MANETs

K nearest neighbor (kNN) queries, which retrieve the k nearest sensor data items associated with a location (location-dependent sensor data) from the location of the query issuer, are useful for location-based services in mobile environments. Here, we focus on the kNN query processing in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). Key challenges in designing system protocols for the MANETs include low-overhead adaptability to network topology changes due to node mobility, and query processing that achieves high accuracy of the query result without a centralized server. In this paper, we propose the filling area (FA) method to efficiently process kNN queries in the MANETs. The FA method achieves low overhead in query processing by reducing a search area. In the FA method, data items remain at nodes near the locations with which the items are associated, and nodes cache data items whose locations are near their own so that the query issuer retrieves kNNs from nearby nodes. Through extensive simulations, we verify that our proposed approach achieves low overhead and high accuracy of the query result.

移动计算环境下不确定性组合服务的事务建模与执行分析

In mobile-enabled service-oriented computing, there exist resource restrictions and connection intermittences, and transactional services are often confronted with handovers and weak consistency support. In order to ensure the transaction validity of composition services in mobile environments, a mobile composition transaction model based on Markov Chain is proposed via analyzing service uncertainty and transaction properties. Firstly, formal methods are applied to construct a mobile atomic service model and a transaction mechanism of atomic services, and the service uncertainties are formulated with state probabilities. Secondly, the mobile composition service model is constructed using a Markov Chain, in which uncertainties are passed and a method of reliable composition transaction is presented. Then transaction execution of typical logic structure is introduced after execution semantic analysis. Finally, an application case shows that this model is effective to describe the mobile composition transaction, and the experimental results suggest that service availability, service reliability and transaction pattern have a considerable impact on the probability of success of composition transactions.

A Location Context Awareness Personalized Mobile Service Prediction Model and It's Algorithm: Design and Implementation

With the expansion of mobile Internet, location-based services have become a hot spot in Internet industry. To improve the accuracy and efficiency of the location-based services discovery, researchers in web services recommendation area are still busy looking for method. In this paper, it proposes a LCAMSP model (Location Context Awareness Mobile Service Prediction, LCAMSP) under mobile Internet environment, aims to meet the exact personal requirements of users’ current location and preference. Then, the similar users’ grouping is also a important thread to predict the continuous movement for mobile users. Because each user has own preference, a dynamic calculation function for the weight of each attribute is discussed in this paper. Finally, taking the hotel reservation service as an example, a verification algorithm will be applied to measure the performance of LCAMSP method. With the premise of increasing limited time, the accuracy of LCAMSP algorithm is significantly improved under the mobile service environment.

Analysis of Characteristics of Power Consumption for Context-Aware Mobile Applications

In recent years, a large portion of smartphone applications (Apps) has targeted context-aware services. They aim to perceive users’ real-time context like his/her location, actions, or even emotion, and to provide various customized services based on the inferred context. However, context-awareness in mobile environments has some challenging issues due to limitations of devices themselves. Limited power is regarded as the most critical problem in context-awareness on smartphones. Many studies have tried to develop low-power methods, but most of them have focused on the power consumption of H/W modules of smartphones such as CPU and LCD. Only a few research papers have recently started to present some S/W-based approaches to improve the power consumption. That is, previous works did not consider energy consumed by context-awareness of Apps. Therefore, in this paper, we focus on the power consumption of context-aware Apps. We analyze the characteristics of context-aware Apps in a perspective of the power consumption, and then define two main factors which significantly influence the power consumption: a sort of context that context-aware Apps require for their services and a type of ways that a user uses them. The experimental result shows the reasonability and the possibility to develop low-power methods based on our analysis. That is, our analysis presented in this paper will be a foundation for energy-efficient context-aware services in mobile environments.

This paper proposes metadata structure containing information for augmentation region, time, augmented contents, and registration information for natural composition. 모바일 어플리케이션 개발에서의 보안성 향상을 위한 보안 점검항목 개선에 관한 연구

Abstract The use of mobile devices offers a variety of services to the individuals and companies. On the other hand, security threats and new mobile security threats that exist in IT infrastructure to build the environment for mobile services are present at the same time. Services such as mobile and vaccine management services, such as MDM (Mobile Device Management) has attracted a great deal of interest in order to minimize the threat of security in mobile environment. These solutions can not protect an application that was developed for the mobile service from the threat of vulnerability of mobile application itself. Under these circumstances, in this paper, we proposed mobile application security checklists based on application security review items in order to prevent security accidents that can occur in a mobile service environment. We collected and analyzed Android applications, we performed a total inspection of the applications for verification of the effectiveness of the check items. And we checked that the check items through a survey of experts suitability was verified.

Development of The Open Mobile E-commerce Platform Using 3D GIS and E-catalog

Recently, E-Commerce demands an integrated solution for online and off-line provided to customers on wired / wireless network and various mobile devices. Our E-commerce platform can use anytime, anywhere, for all consumers. And, it can take convenient and secure E-commerce service in mobile environment. So, we will implement a software platform base on the mobile environment that independent of the mobile OS. Particularly, our E-commerce platform is based on 3D GIS information for 3D electronic map. So, all user (customers) have got the more visible convenience. And, by using the e-catalog DB cloud server, off-line store operators can be built the online home-page easily. From now on our E-commerce platform based on 3D GIS can be usable at various E-commerce areas in the ubiquitous environment.
