A thermo-hydro-mechanical coupling test system was developed to study the physical and mechanical properties of a single rock fracture under the interaction of multi-physics field. The test system mainly contained a loading system, a shear-flow box and sealing system, a high-temperature environment box and a seepage system. The test system can conduct the normal compression and shear-flow coupling test under complex stress paths within 300 °C. Two load cells were set at both ends of the shear direction to solve problem of inaccurate shear force monitoring. The unique shear-flow box was designed to solve the dynamic sealing problem. To verify the reliability of the test system, the seepage tests during heating–cooling process and a shear-flow coupling test for a single granite fracture under various boundary conditions were carried out. The test system provides research equipment for understanding the interaction mechanism of multi-physical field in deep underground engineering.
