Improved Message Mechanism-Based Cross-Domain Security Control Model in Mobile Terminals

Dual-domain terminal with two built-in independent operating systems - Life Domain and Work Domain, provides convenience for daily use and mobile office. However, the security isolation between the two domains also causes that message reminders cannot be delivered and viewed across domains, which restricts the improvement of work efficiency and the expansion of mobile services. This paper conducts an in-depth study on this pain point and proposes the concept and implementation method of a cross-domain instant messaging reminder service system for mobile office, focusing on solving the problems of: cross-domain isolated boundary exchange of message reminders, timeliness and delivery rate guarantee of message reminders, and security check filtering of message contents. Technically, on the side of mobile office platform, based on AMQP technical framework and protocol, the cross-domain isolated border message queue push and synchronization services are built, which are real-time, reliable and high-throughput.

Information Security and Risk Control Model Based on Plan-Do-Check-Action for Digital Libraries

To continuously and effectively control the potential risk factors of digital libraries, further improve the quality of digital library usage, ensure the smooth operation and information security of digital libraries, a security and risk factor control model for digital libraries based on the Plan-Do-Check-Action is constructed. A digital library security and risk identification model based on improved support vector machines is constructed. Based on the obtained risk identification results, a Plan-Do-Check-Action management model is implemented for information security in digital libraries. The R2L dataset in the network attack dataset is used for training and testing model performance. Then the proposed method is applied to two different digital libraries. The average accuracy of the risk identification model proposed in the research is 96.46%. The risk error of each level is maintained within 0.4%, which is within an acceptable range. The proposed method has a high recognition effect. It can be used to identify common security and risk issues encountered in digital libraries, and improve the information security performance.

Security Control for Time-Varying Delay Systems Based on Random Switching Moving Defense Method in Cyber-Physical Environment

With the high digitization, informatization, and networking of practical complex systems, the security and reliability issue of systems control in the cyber-physical environment is becoming more and more critical, especially under the background of rampant network attacks nowadays. The security control for time-varying delay systems based on random switching moving defense method in a cyber-physical environment is studied in this paper. First, the security control model of one class of time-varying delay dynamic systems considering the actuator and controller attack problem is presented; second, controller design based on switching strategy for moving defense is studied; and then the security control scheme for time-varying delay systems based on random switching moving defense is presented for dealing with cyber attacks from malicious adversaries. Finally, multiple simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Intrusion Detection Method Based on Deep Learning

In today’s information age, the scale of the Internet is growing, the information capacity is also expanding explosively, and network security is becoming more and more important. Intrusion detection is regarded as a traditional security protection technology and is a key means to ensure the security of the network environment. Among them, the deep belief network performs well, and it can automatically learn abstract features for classification. In order to further improve the detection rate and reduce the false positive rate, it is necessary to improve the detection rate of small sample data. This paper builds an intelligent deep learning model and analysis model for intrusion detection data based on TensorFlow. By learning to identify network intrusion characteristic data, the characteristic data and model are stored in the big data storage system built by Hadoop. This algorithm has achieved good experiment result. Build a model knowledge base and an intrusion feature behavior library, use the decision tree model to automatically match the security control strategy, realize a highly intelligent security control model with self-learning ability, and solve the rapid identification of unknown intrusion behaviors. Experiments show that the algorithm can effectively improve the detection rate.

Performance Verification of Bayesian Network–Based Security Risk Management and Control System for Power Trading Institutions

Risk in power trading is unavoidable for various reasons. The impact of this risk would vary based on the trading characteristics that mainly depend on the market design and power purchase agreements. So, a security risk management and control system for power trading institutions based on a Bayesian network is designed to reduce the risk of power trading projects. As a part of the network, we first provided the overall architecture of the risk management and control system, which includes a malicious network behaviour detection module, controller selection module, data transmission module, and management and control result visualisation module. Second, the hardware test design was implemented by analysing each module’s working principle and function. Based on the hardware design of the system, the regression analysis method is used to evaluate the risk of power transactions, followed by market fluctuation prediction to obtain the prediction result induced risks. The relationship between security risks and risk-influencing factors is analysed using the Bayesian network. The initial list of risks is established, the uncertain risk factors are reasoned, and the security risk management and control model of power trading institutions is tested to achieve the goal of risk management and control. The experimental results show that this method’s risk management and control efficiency are high. At the same time, this method effectively realised comprehensive risk identification by reducing the loss to power enterprises and has near-practical application value.

The Emerging Trends and Patterns of Non-State Actors Involvement in Crime Prevention and Control in South-West Nigeria: Old Wine in New Bottle

Globally, the use of formal security apparatus is approved standard of ensuring safety of lives and property in any sane society. The most developed countries of the world has fashioned out effective security control model to guarantee safety of lives and protection of citizens properties. This security measure is one of the many challenges confronting most developing nations including Nigeria.. It is a very serious problem when a country cannot protect the lives and properties of its citizens. It is even a bigger problem when the lives of its citizens mean nothing to the government of the day. The continuous incidence of boko-Haram and herdsmen attack, kidnapping, suicide bombing, violence and abduction is a clear indication that present government have failed its citizen in securing them and their valuable. This study examined the emerging trends and patterns on non state actor involvement in crime prevention and control in South-West Nigeria: An old wine in new bottle. The paper adopted the Karl Mark (1874) theory of exploitation as its theoretical current. The study made used of the survey research design. Sample size of 200 was determined using Yamane sample size technique. The cluster, simple random and purposive sampling techniques were used to select respondents for the study. The study made use of questionnaire and key informant interviews as instruments for data collection. Simple percentage tables and frequency were employed to present quantitative data. Qualitative data was analyzed using content analysis technique and ethnographic summaries. The results revealed that the Non state actors involvement in security via Amotekun has drastically reduced crime rate, safeguard lives and property, promote socio-economic development, exposes criminals, promote peace and unity amongst others. The paper recommended that the government must make security a top priority by providing all that is required to guarantee safety of lives and properties of its citizens’. The citizens must support the government and its agencies in all means possible to reduce crime rate in the area. Effective legislation, enforcement and adequate sanction should be advocated for those caught to be perpetrating crime or sabotaging crime prevention and control efforts of the government.

Enhancement of Security Monitoring Model for a Safe Internet of Things (IoT) Environment

Recently, hacking accidents and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are increasing in theInternet of Things(IoT) environment, and various cyber threats are increasing. In particular, threatsfrom various services such as webcams and telemedicine provided by mobile communication operatorssuch as LGU+ and KT olleh through IoT services are increasing in korea, so it is necessaryto strengthen the security control system for a safe Internet of Things environment. In this paper,IoT technology, security incident trends, and standardization of the IoT were collected and analyzed.Through this, we propose a security control model that is strengthened in the analyzed IoTenvironment. Through the proposed security control model, it is divided into ‘pre-response-incidentresponse-post-response’, and the IoT environment is classified into IoT devices, IoT networks/communications,and IoT services/platforms according to strategic directions. It is hoped that this paperwill contribute to the rapid detection and response of new cyber threats and attacks.

Research on Security Control Scheme of Power Distribution Internet of Things

With the rapid development of the Internet, the process of Power Distribution Internet of Things has been pushed continuously. At present, the number of IoT terminals has increased sharply, and the types are also diverse. Meanwhile, the requirements for the communication timeliness and transmission safety between distribution networks are increasing. The current traditional distribution network structure is unable to properly manage the new terminals. As an emerging technology for information security protection, trusted computing can guarantee a safe and reliable operating environment and management mechanism in the power distribution IoT. Through the optimization of the hierarchical structure of the distribution network and the use of binary trusted security control model, we can build the hierarchical control structure model of the power distribution IoT. It makes the security level of the system has been greatly improved.

Dual-terminal event triggered control for cyber-physical systems under false data injection attacks

This paper deals with the problem of security-based dynamic output feedback control of cyber-physical systems (CPSs) with the dual-terminal event triggered mechanisms (DT-ETM) under false data injection (FDI) attacks. Considering the limited attack energy, FDI attacks taking place in transmission channels are modeled as extra bounded disturbances for the resulting closed-loop system, thus enabling $H_{\infty}$ performance analysis with a suitable $\varrho$ attenuation level. Then two buffers at the controller and actuator sides are skillfully introduced to cope with the different transmission delays in such a way to facilitate the subsequent security analysis. Next, a dynamic output feedback security control (DOFSC) model based on the DT-ETM schemes under FDI attacks is well constructed. Furthermore, novel criteria for stability analysis and robust stabilization are carefully derived by exploiting Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory and LMIs technique. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The enhanced security control model for critical infrastructures with the blocking prioritization process to cyber threats in power system

There have been a lot of efforts and studies to improve the safety of critical infrastructures. As one of efforts, there have been numerous constructions of security operation center (SOC) to protect against cyber-attacks. Unfortunately, it is too difficult to protect from cyber-attacks, because there are too many security events to analyse and respond. Reducing security events are very essential to improve the efficiency of incidents response. In this paper, we studied four years cyber threats against a Korean electric power organization by analysing IPS and FW raw data. As a result of this analysis, we found that 95% of all cyber-attacks were from foreign nations. If an IT system is not related with foreign business, we should think about blocking unnecessary foreign IP ranges. So, we propose the Enhanced Security Control (ESC) model with Blocking Prioritization (BP) process for critical infrastructures to improve daily incidents response activities. This ESC model has a BP process with six factors to consider when deciding which IT systems to be blocked from foreign IP ranges: foreign relation, real login, blocking complexity, stop tolerance, outer relation and stop impact. By considering these six factors, the ESC model can make it possible to prioritize Blocking Impact Degree (BID) of IT systems and help making decision to block from unnecessary foreign IP ranges. This ESC model will reduce security events and make a better condition for concentration on the remaining unblocked and crucial IT systems.

Simulation model of security control system functioning: A case study of the Wroclaw Airport terminal

A security control system is the key element at an airport because each passenger must undergo security check before boarding. Security control must be performed efficiently while maintaining a high level of safety. This article presents a security control model that is applied at a given airport. A set of variable input data describing the model and data received by the user as a result of its use is presented. The security control model is developed using the FlexSim software and based on security control model implementation, for which algorithm for managing the security checkpoint operation schedule are used. The algorithm allows a capacity lack margin to be established in the security control system in order to lower the system operation cost and maintain an acceptable passenger service quality. We describe two basic patterns of implementing the security control process: single- and double-lane counters. The security control counter has been divided into specific areas (queues). The developed model was implemented into the management system of the security checkpoint at Wroclaw Airport. Measures of the system's capacity are determined for the following sample input data (system characteristics and the stream of passenger reports): the average duration of a passenger's stay in the security control system and the number of operator work hours depending on the adopted management strategy. The developed model can be used in existing security control systems and also to evaluate the operation of a system at its design stage.

Design and Implementation of a Secure Integrated Storage Network for Classified Information Based on IPSAN

Aiming at the security threats of Integrated Storage Network (ISN) in network transmission and static storage of classified information, a Secure Integrated Storage Network (SISN) model is proposed. By designing a Security Initiator (SI) and a Security Control Model (SCM) with integration of techniques for identification, data encryption, access control and security auditing to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and effectiveness of the storage. The simulation attack test was done to classified organizations which applying the SISN.The result prove SISN can guarantee the storage security of classified information effectively.
