Science Education, February 1948, presented the study, “Investigation of Student Opinion Concerning Survey Courses in Science,” by W. W. E. Blanchett, Fort Valley State College, Fort Valley, Georgia. The same author presented in Science Education, March 1948, his findings in the article, “Subject-Matter Topics Contained in Textbooks for Use in Survey Courses in the Natural Sciences”. This dealt with the comparison of the textbook content and content designated as desirable by students.
