Pentingnya Peran Pengelolaan Tenaga Kependidikan dalam Meningkatkan Efektivitas Administrasi Sekolah di SMP Negeri 34 Surabaya

The management of education personnel plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of school administration. This study aims to explore the relationship between the management of education personnel and administrative effectiveness in SMP Negeri 34 Surabaya. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, we use interviews, observations, and documentation studies as data collection techniques. Interviews were conducted with administrative staff, teachers, and principals to gain comprehensive insights. Observations were made in various parts of the school to understand the practice of managing education personnel directly. In addition, documentation studies are used to analyze policies and procedures related to the management of educational personnel. In conclusion, effective management of education personnel is the key to achieving educational goals and improving the quality of administrative services at SMP Negeri 34 Surabaya. In this context, an emphasis on continuous development of management teams and training will be an important step to improve the effectiveness of overall management of education and school administration personnel. The results of the analysis confirm that the management of education personnel has a significant effect on the quality of administrative services and the overall performance of the school. The importance of a well-trained management team and periodic training is highly regarded in improving administrative efficiency. Despite challenges, such as gaps in technology capabilities, strong collaboration and commitment overcame those barriers.

Persepsi Guru tentang Pelayanan Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah di SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh

This study aims to analyze the service data of School Administration Personnel seen from the aspects of 1) ease of getting services, 2) certainty of service time, 3) accuracy/accuracy, 4) friendliness, 5) responsibilities carried out at SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh with a population of all teachers totaling 454 teachers with a sample of 84 teachers. The trial was conducted by 20 teachers outside the sample. To determine the sample size using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% with the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The research instrument uses the Likert Scale model with five alternative answers. Validity test using questionnaire and reliability using SPSS (Statistic Package and Social Science) 24.0 for windows program. The validity test of this study used a product moment with a significant level of 5% (0.444) with a reliability test using the Alpha Cronbach formula. The collected data is processed using the average formula (mean). The results of the data analysis showed that the service of School Administration Personnel in terms of: 1) ease of getting services obtained a score of 4.37 (good), 2) certainty of service time obtained a score of 4.43 (good), 3) accuracy/accuracy obtained a score of 4.41 (good) and 4) friendliness obtained a score of 4.31 5) responsibility obtained a score of 4.34 (good). It can be concluded that the service of School Administration Personnel at SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh obtained an average score of 4.37 in the good category.

Kesiapan Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah Menerima Perubahan pada SMP Negeri Se Kota Padang

This research is based on the results of an interview with the head of school administration staff at SMP Negeri Kota Padang. This study aims to obtain information about the readiness of school administration personnel to accept change in terms of three aspects, namely, mental readiness, knowledge readiness and participation in change. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is all school staff in the city of Padang. The number of samples in this study was 83 people. The instrument used in the questionnaire is a semantic differential semantic scale. The steps taken in analyzing data are, verifying data, tabulating data, calculating the average value (mean) then looking for the percentage of score achievement and describing the data processed based on specified criteria. This study shows the results of the readiness of administrative personnel to accept changes in public junior high schools in Padang City as seen from the indicators (1) Mental readiness with the ready category and 80.10% achievement rate, (2) Knowledge readiness with the ready category and 81.02% achievement rate, (3) Participation in changes with the ready category and 80.19% achievement rate. It can be concluded that the readiness of school administration personnel in accepting changes in public junior high schools in Padang City can be categorized as ready to accept changes with an achievement level (8, 0.44%).

Pemanfaatan Sarana Prasarana Kerja, Self Capacity Building, dan Kinerja Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Medan

This research aims to examine the utilization of work infrastructure and self capacity building on the performance of school administrative staff. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach done to 109 school administration personnel. From the results of research conducted, the utilization of infrastructure facilities have a significant effect on the performance of school administrative staff on very high category. This can be explained by the high relation between the two dimensions of utilization of work infrastructure to the measured performance that is based on the principle and function of work infrastructure. Self capacity building also has a significant effect on the performance of school administrative personnel although it affects the middle category. This is identified by the low relation of five indicators of self capacity building to the performance of school administrative staff, ie workshop, seminar, courses, co- operative collegial development, and skill development model. The government should pay more attention to the availability, feasibility and convenience of work infrastructure and conduct various training aimed at the school administrative staff in an effort to increase the capacity building of school administration personnel to work.

Supervision Of School Administrative Staff Competence To Improve School Administration Quality In Public High Schools

The background of this study is based on the need for more attention to the competencies possessed by school administration personnel, while administrative personnel is one of the pillars of school administrative services. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of supervision of school administrative personnel by school principals. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation—analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, conclusion-making, and triangulation. The results showed that the technical competence of the administrative staff at SMP Negeri Remban is quite good because they have good communication and always work together to expedite their work. In terms of role, the principal has played a role in improving the technical competence of administrative staff; this is indicated by the principal often taking the time to talk to the administrative staff so there is no awkwardness or fear between the principal and administrative staff; the principal also often holds meetings with administrative staff so that cooperation and communication between principals, teachers, and administrative staff are always well established. This research implies that the principal and education staff are an inseparable unit. Therefore it is hoped that good cooperation and communication between the two elements is expected so that in a future implementation, evaluation can be used as a guide as a follow-up if deficiencies are to be corrected.

PEMBERDAYAAN TENAGA ADMINISTRASI SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA PELAKSANAAN TUPOKSI

This study aims to describe the process of empowering school administrative personnel which includes awareness, capacity building and empowerment. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and study of the documentation. The data analysis model used an interactive analysis model from Miles Huberman. The results show that the empowerment of school administrative personnel which included awareness, capacity and empowerment stages have been implemented quite successfully so that school administrative staff had various competencies (personality, social, technical and managerial). In the awareness stage, it is carried out to provide encouragement, motivation and communication to school administration staff to increase their adaptability to their main tasks and functions. At the capacitating stage, education and training are carried out in the form of upgrading, education and training, technical guidance and workshops. Meanwhile, at the empowerment stage, apperception and self-potential development activities are carried out. In this empowerment, there is also support from school leaders with full dedication and motivation to empower school administrative personnel. However, there is still a need for reasonably fundamental improvements in empowerment with respect to various constraints and conditions that are expected in the next empowerment process. For this purpose, it is necessary to review (remodify) empowerment programs, so that they are validative, varied, dynamic, evaluative, interesting and weighty, including the consideration of the needs of school administrative personnel.

Analysis of School Administrative Technique Competency in Vocational School

The administrative staff has a very important role, so they need to know the analysis of school administration staff competency. For this reason, the purpose of this article is to find out about the competency of school administration personnel in vocational high schools needed. The method of this research is a description of qualitative and quantitative. The population in this study were all administrative forces in 18 city districts. The sample was taken by cluster random sampling and took 7 districts. In more detail, the sample consisted of 158 school administration staff and 63 school administration heads. This research instrument uses a semantic scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the technical competence of technical administration of about 82.75%. This means that administrative staff has the competence of being able to present the percentage of these achievements.

MANAJEMEN CAPACITY BUILDING TENAGA ADMINISTRASI SEKOLAH DI SEKOLAH LABORATORIUM UPI

School administration personnel as "supplements and complement" in the quality of education services,administrative activities and other support activities have a significant effect on the learning service activities.The purpose of this research is to gain information about the position, and the program development of SchoolAdministration Staff (education and training) at every level in UPI Laboratory School and those who areresponsible for the development of School Administration Staff. The research method used is qualitative with theresearch subject of all administrative staff of school at UPI laboratory school. The result in establishing the TASprofession in UPI related to the clarity of the status of manpower and comprehensively correlated with the statusof school administrative staff at every level of education in the laboratory school. The description of the careerladder of the school administrative staff in the laboratory school is not yet apparent. Built a school administrationprofession is not only an obligation of the administrative staff itself but rather the full support of the school andgovernment.

THE PROBLEMS OF THE SECONDARY SCHOOL IN KUWAIT IN LIGHT OF THE SCARCITY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE EMERGENCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION USING SOME ADMINISTRATIVE METHODS

This study aims at: natural resources and their scarcity in Kuwait, identification of environmental pollution in Kuwait, identification of modern administrative methods, solving the problem of secondary school in Kuwait in light of the scarcity of natural resources and the emergence of environmental pollution using some administrative methods. The questionnaire was used as a tool for study. The process of directing the questionnaire to survey the views of school administration personnel is about the ability of the school administration to cope with environmental problems using modern administrative methods. The study sample consisted of 145 principals and principals from the original school community distributed in government schools in Kuwait during the academic year 2016/2017. Five incomplete questionnaires were rejected, so that the final number of the sample was 140 managers and managers. The sample was randomly selected using the stratified method. Study Method: The present study followed the analytical descriptive approach, which deals with the study of existing events, phenomena and practices available for study and measurement as such, without the intervention of the researcher in the course of the study and the researcher can interact with them and describe them and analyzed it has been used this curriculum by describing the environmental problems facing the school administration in Kuwait. The results of the study: There are statistically significant differences between the problems of the environmental problems faced by the secondary school, and there are differences of statistical significance between the administrative methods to solve the environmental problem of our study of the scarcity of natural resources and environmental pollution. The best of these methods is the management of total quality, followed by administrative engineering to address the environmental problems represented by the scarcity of natural resources, especially water conservation, and the environmental pollution witnessed by Kuwait under the current situation. The main recommendations of the study were: 1- The General Secondary School should formulate a philosophy of implementing TQM to address the scarcity of natural resources and environmental pollution. 2 - To develop a specific future vision and long-term goals sought by the school to achieve them. 3 - Develop communication and cooperation between the administrative leaders and all workers in the school administration and environmental protection workers. 4 - To develop the management behaviorally by supporting the collective work in the field of environment and conservation of natural resources. 5 - The success of the overall quality in the school requires the commitment of the head of the school first quality and the skills of the application of educational quality tools need to support the state, Director of Total Quality is to build confidence and openness (to develop confidence in others - access to information from employees ... etc. demonstrates the building of the team and the spirit of the team appreciation and rewards (continuous improvement of performance). 6 - The application of the comprehensive quality system requires that the and increased funding, clearly identify the priorities and policies of education, and interest in improving the type of training

An evaluation of the present status of the certificate in, school business management

By almost any measure, most South African public schools, and especially schools in the Western Cape, have under-performed academically. For a number of years, there has existed a wide degree of consensus among education stakeholders, and particularly in government, that the problems in our schools extend beyond mere academic under-achievement. Principals need to be occupied with the tasks of managing and leading teaching and learning, that is, instruction leadership, and not managing routine administrative matters only. In recognising the potential of school administrative personnel to provide relief and support for the administrative role of principals, the Western Cape Government initiated a training course in July, 2008 for school business administrators. The course was modelled on a very successful training course developed in the United Kingdom. Key words: School bursars, school evaluation, school business management, school administration.

Positive School and Classroom Environment: Precursors of Successful Implementation of Positive Youth Development Programs

This case study was based on a school where the Tier 1 Program of the Project P.A.T.H.S. was integrated into the formal curriculum. In this case study, an interview with the school principal, vice-principal, and social worker was conducted in order to understand their perceptions of administrative arrangements and issues in the school, implementation characteristics, program effectiveness, program success, and overall impression. Results showed that several positive school and classroom attributes were conducive to program success, including positive school culture and belief in students' potentials, an inviting school environment, an encouraging classroom environment, high involvement of school administrative personnel, and systematic program arrangement.

SUMMARY This article provides a background and logical explanation for school psychologists to feel justified in the pursuit of providing sport psychology services. This perspective is useful for the school psychologist or other school administrative personnel who may question or be questioned about the value or need for the provision of sport psychology services. In addition, issues surrounding sport psychology with interscholastic athletes and methods for providing these by school psychologists are considered. Finally, the school/family interview is discussed as a systems oriented method of school/sport psychology assessment and intervention.

Mathematics attainment at inner-city schools: Establishing the need for systematic formative evaluation practices

Recently there has been a great amount of research and professional educator interest in at-risk, poor academically attaining students, especially low socioeconomic status students at U.S. inner-city schools. A major factor that has been hypothesized in the research literature as being associated with poor academic attainment is the lack of critical and timely instructional feedback or formative evaluation. Using a sample of 130 inner-city senior high school students, the perceived quality and quantity of formative evaluation received by these students at their elementary and secondary school levels were assessed. in addition, each student was given a mathematics (pre-algebra) assessment using both a one and two-dimensional format (recognition plus confidence) to determine present levels of mathematics attainment. Finally data were collected from the cumulative grade-level folders of a subset of these students, especially norm-referenced data (NRT) in mathematics, to examine their relationship to scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test-Quantitiative portion. The study finds that in addition to extremely poor mathematics attainment and poor formative evaluation practices there is little association between SAT (quantitative) scores and the grade-level (mathematics) NRT scores. These findings suggest that parents cannot depend on traditional norm-referenced measures to indicate actual mathematics attainment as these students are progressing through the schools. These findings also challenge urban school administrative personnel to reassess the use of NRT measures to monitor student progress and to develop more comprehensive and systematic formative evaluation procedures and practices for individual students as they progress through each grade level.

The instructional audit in urban school settings: A descriptive policy analysis of instructional delivery using signal-receptor assessment theory and information referenced testing

High levels of student absenteeism, low SES home environments, and a general lack of experienced teachers to service the school curriculum all contribute to difficulties in insuring the delivery of apriori school district defined instructional programs. The importance of urban school site educational evaluation is underscored by recent studies which show that the effectiveness of instructional delivery is an important predictor of student antisocial behavior such as drug abuse, gang activity, vandalism. This study examines some of the problems associated with instructional evaluation in urban school settings using signal-receptor assessment theory analysis and a new type of test scoring procedure called Modified Confidence Weighted-Admissible Probability Measurement (MCW-APM). With MCW-APM, school administrative personnel can simultaneously evaluate and obtain policy relevant information for instructional leadership concerning the signal (instruction as delivered), the reception (student learning as received), and the assessment instrumentation itself (sensitivity of the test). Additionally, this method of scoring permits individual student performance on school district developed CRTs to be referenced to an information based standard (informed, partially informed, uninformed, and misinformed) of mastery as a selection standard instead of a percent correct score.
