ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN RUANG PARKIR PADA OBJEK WISATA PANTAI SANUR

The parking area available at Sanur Beach currently utilizes the road body, not the special parking lot that the beach has, thus creating a significant challenge for managers and visitors. Along with the increasing popularity of Sanur Beach as a tourist destination, the road to the beach has become congested due to the number of vehicles passing by, both motorcycles and cars. This causes visitors to often park their vehicles carelessly and irregularly, which has the potential to cause safety problems and inconvenience for other road users. Many visitors park outside the beach area, thus interfering with activities on the streets around the tourist attraction, which in turn can affect the image of Sanur Beach as a friendly and organized tourist destination. This research focuses on the need for parking spaces in Sanur Beach tourist attractions, with the hope of providing an effective solution to this problem. The data used in planning the needs of parking spaces is primary data, namely the results of surveys conducted on parking managers and vehicle traffic data. The survey results show that the parking area for motorcycles is most used on Sunday afternoon, reaching almost 228 plots, while for cars, the peak of use occurs on Sunday morning, reaching 34 plots. These findings show the importance of developing better and planned parking infrastructure at Sanur Beach, to improve the visitor experience and maintain a smooth flow of traffic. Thus, careful planning in the provision of parking spaces will be a crucial step to support the sustainability of tourism at Sanur Beach.

Efektivitas Penanganan Barang Bawaan Tamu Tiba Pada Saat Peak Hours di Hotel Prama Sanur Beach Bali

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness handling luggage for guests arriving during peak hours at Hotel Prama Sanur Beach Bali. Data was obtained by interview techniques, documentation and observation check list. The data that has been collected ,analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis technique, namely by describing the facts in the field in the form of the results of the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) for handling arriving guests' luggage carried out by bellboy officers at Hotel Prama Sanur Beach Bali. The results show many as seven steps of procedures for handling arriving guest luggage have been implemented in accordance with the applicable standard operating procedures. Meanwhile, as many as four steps of procedures for handling arriving guest luggage have not been implemented in accordance with standard operating procedures. Procedures for handling arriving guests' luggage that have not been implemented include: not preparing trolleys and checking the condition of the trolleys, not checking and counting arriving guests' luggage, not explaining the facilities in the room and not offering assistance to guests before leaving the room. Therefore, the bell captain is expected to increase supervision of bellboy officers so that they are more obedient in carrying out their work. Keywords: Effectiveness, Handling, Bellboy, SOP

Eksistensi Jajanan Lumpia Sebagai Kuliner Khas Di Kawasan Wisata Pantai Sanur

Sanur is a very beautiful beach tourist area in the city of Denpasar. Apart from the beautiful panoramic views of the beach, Sanur is also famous for its spring roll snacks. This snack is a culinary specialty when visiting Sanur Beach. As time goes by, the existence of spring roll snacks, especially on Sanur Beach, is increasingly being rivaled by modern snacks. Previously, spring rolls were very popular, but with the existence of this modern snack, spring rolls are now rarely popular except on weekends. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, in-depth interviews and literature study. Observations were carried out at Sanur Beach (Segara Beach, Sindu Beach, Karang Beach, and Mertasari Beach). Interviews were carried out using snowball sampling. Literature study in the form of previous research that is still relevant to this research, theoretical basis and concepts obtained from books, journals and articles that are still relevant to this research. The existence of spring roll snacks is currently experiencing a decline in interest, this is due to the large number of traders selling modern snacks and other traditional foods on Sanur Beach. The modern snacks such as burgers, fries, kebabs, hot dogs and other types of modern food. Currently, spring roll traders mostly sell outside Sanur Beach, they only sell on weekends, on other days they sell in the Puputan field, Renon field and even sell around to people's homes.

The body mapping of musculoskeletal complaints for surfers

Background: Surfing is an extreme water sport that consists of various movements, including paddling, popping-up, and wave riding, and has a risk of musculoskeletal complaints. This study aimed to determine the description of musculoskeletal complaints in surfers. Methods: The study used a descriptive observational design with a cross-sectional approach. This study was conducted from February to May 2023 at the halfway club in Kuta Beach, Sanur Beach, and Canggu Beach using the total sampling technique with a total available population of 60 surfers. We included the sample with inclusion criteria and excluded the sample with exclusion criteria. Fifty-one surfers were eligible for the study. Data collection was carried out by interviews using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. Results: Based on the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, musculoskeletal complaints in surfing players in Bali were a score of 2 (somewhat painful); most of them experienced complaints in the right knee (45.10%) and upper neck (39.22%). The risk level for musculoskeletal complaints in surfers in Bali was 46 people (90.2%) with a low-risk level and five people (9.8%) with a moderate risk level. Conclusion: The most musculoskeletal complaints in surfers in Bali are in the right knee, upper neck, right shoulder, left shoulder, waist, and ankle areas. The risk level for musculoskeletal complaints among surfers in Bali was mainly low, and some had a moderate risk level.

Isolation and Molecular Identification of Endophytic Fungi Associated with Brown Algae for Inhibiting Escherichia coli ESBL

Background: The marine environment is the main source of research on natural products in the future. In addition, marine microorganisms have been identified as a natural source capable of developing new antibiotic compounds, including controlling urinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli ESBL. Purpose: This study aims to isolate, select, and test the potential of brown macroalgae endophytic fungi (Phaeophyceae) collected from the coastal waters of Sanur, Bali Province. Methods: Three types of brown algae were collected from Sanur Beach and their endophytic fungi were isolated using PDA media. Antibacterial activity was determined by measuring the inhibition zone and determining the inhibition category. The selected isolates were cultured and the phytochemical profile was determined qualitatively. In addition, molecular identification using the Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) primer set and comparison with the GenBank (NCBI) database were carried out in this study. Results: The results showed that 10 isolates were successfully isolated from three types of brown macroalgae. It was found that isolates T1, S1, and P3 had the highest inhibition in the very strong category. There were variations in mycelial weight, pH value, and inhibition shown by the culture filtrate of the three endophytic fungal isolates against Escherichia coli ESBL. Isolate S1 had the highest phytochemical profile, namely alkaloids, triterpenoids, saponins, and phenolics. The three endophytic fungal isolates showed isolate T1 (Phlebiopsis magnicystidiata) (MT5617191), isolate P3 (Neurospora crassa strain RT3M) (MT1028551), and isolate S1 (Peniophora sp.) (MH2680421). Conclusion: The results of this study provide initial information regarding the potential of bioprospecting brown macroalgal endophytic fungi as a source of new antibiotics against Escherichia coli ESBL.

Pelestarian Penyu kepada Generasi Muda Untuk Keberlanjutan Satwa Langka di Kawasan Sanur, Denpasar, Bali

Turtles as one of the rare and almost extinct animals need to be preserved. The prevention effort taken is through conservation. Conservation cannot work alone without the support of the surrounding community. For this reason, there is a need for public awareness of the importance of preserving turtles. Community service activities by IPB International lecturers and students were carried out in the Sanur area, Denpasar, Bali. The activities are giving counseling about turtle conservation as well as activities to clean up the beach area. Counseling was given by a manager from the turtle sanctuary conservation. There are three stages carried out in this activity, namely the preparation, the counseling, and the cleaning stages. In the preparation stage, the team approached community supervisory groups, fishermen groups, and youth groups in Sanur. Next, the counseling stage was carried out with material about the life cycle of turtles and the process of caring for them. In the final stage, the beach area is cleaned to create a comfortable place for turtles that lay their eggs and hatch on the coast. This community activity is felt to be very beneficial for the young generation who live around the Sanur Beach area. In the future, the community hopes that the team will carry out similar activities in other tourism sectors that can benefit the community in the Sanur area.

Determination of the Optical Band gap Energy from the Extraction and Evaporation of Anthocyanin Compound Sea Lettuce (Ulva Lactuca L.) Using Tauc Plot Method

The optical energy gap of anthocyanin compounds from sea lettuce extract (Ulva lactuca L.) has been calculated using the Tauc plot method. Sea lettuce plants taken at Sanur Beach Bali. The sea lettuce was dried then mashed and extracted for 24 hours, the last being macerated through three cycles. The extraction results are then evaporated to obtain a thick extract solution. Extracted and evaporated-extraction samples were characterized by UV-Vis in the wavelength range of 200-800 nm. From the characterization results, it was found that the absorption of anthocyanin compounds for the extracted samples was at a wavelength of 268 and 412 nm. Meanwhile, for the extraction-evaporation sample, the absorption is at a wavelength of 286.5 and 408 nm. By using the Tauc plot method, the optical energy gap values ??for the extracted and extraction-evaporated samples were 2.69 and 2.54 eV, respectively. Therefore, anthocyanin compounds from both extracted and evaporation-extracted samples qualify as dye sensitized solar cells (DSSC) for TiO2 semiconductors.

Influence of Financial Compensation, Work Motivation and Job Stress on Employee Performance at the Prama Sanur Beach Hotel

Purpose:This research aims to test and analyze the influence of financial compensation, work motivation and work stress on employee performance.Methodology:This research was conducted at the Prama Sanur Hotel with a sample of 57 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. All data obtained from the questionnaire distribution is suitable for use, then analyzed using multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing (t-test and f-test).Findings:The research results show that (1) Financial compensation, work motivation and work stress have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Hotel Prama Sanur, and (2) Financial compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Hotel Prama Sanur. This means that the greater the financial compensation, the greater the employee performance at the Prama Sanur Hotel. (3) Work motivation positively and significantly affects employee performance at the Prama Sanur Hotel. This means that the more work motivation increases, the more employee performance at the Prama Sanur Hotel will increase. (4) Work stress negatively affects employee performance at the Prama Sanur Hotel.Implication:This means the more work stress increases, the more employee performance at the Prama Sanur Hotel decreases.

Compositional Meanings of the New Normal Protocol Signs: A Case Study at Sanur Port, Bali

This study aims at identifying the types of new normal protocol signs placed at Sanur Port, Denpasar City, Bali Province, and analyzing the compositional meanings of the signs based on the linguistic landscape approach. The outdoor public signs at Sanur Port, Denpasar City, Bali-Indonesia were the source of data in this study. All types of outdoor signs were taken in a specific given territory marked by two gates of entrances to access Sanur Port, the Northern gate on Matahari Terbit Street and the Southern gate on Hangtuah Street. The public signs were collected by the documentation method. The photos were taken in November 2021 by the researchers. The data in this study were analyzed qualitatively based on the multimodal approach, specifically the compositional meanings since the new normal protocol signs were possibly viewed from the social semiotic visual displays. The information value, framing, and salience are the parts of the analysis. The results show that there were nineteen outdoor signs related to health protocols in the new normal situation placed at the Sanur Port area categorized into two types, they are the government and private signs with the dominant language used was Indonesian. The government public signs were dominantly placed around the area of the Southern Gate. It was related to the social condition in which a long time ago that Gate was the main entrance to enter Sanur Beach, and the ticketing desks were placed nearby the Southern Gate, despite the fact that the parking lots are larger in the Northern Gate area. Two private signs were permitted to be placed at the Sanur Port, even though there were only four locations as the placement of the wash basin with the verbal messages. It is considered that they had the permission from the authority of Sanur Port and Sanur Village as they gave contribution to the village.

Assessment of Brown Algae (Phaeophyceae) and Sediment Collected from Sanur Coastal Waters Based on Bioaccumulation Factors and Human Health Risks Related to Microplastic Ingestion Exposure

This study aimed to analyze Microplastics (MPs) contamination in brown algae and sediments, and their bioaccumulation factors, and estimate the risk to human health associated with exposure to ingested MPs collected from the water of the Sanur Beach, Bali Province. The samples were collected from three beaches which were determined using a purposive sampling method. The mean number of MPs found in P. australis was the same on all beaches, namely 17 items/seaweed, higher than S. aquifolium on all beaches. Line-shaped MPs were dominantly found in all algae (98.76%). A high percentage of line-shaped MPs was found in sediments at Mertasari and Semawang Beaches, but not at Sindhu Beach. The highest mean size of MPs in algae was found in P. australis at Semawang Beach, and sediments at Mertasari beach. The highest concentrations of MPs were also found in P. australis on the three coasts. The BAF value showed that the absorption of MPs in the sediment to brown algae was still low (<1). Values related to intake of brown algae consumption ranged from 190.58-1429.41 MPs item/week adjusted for calculation recommendations.

The Correlation between Dye absorption Wavelength and Illumination Wavelength on DSSC Performance

This study examines the effect of the wavelength of light illuminated on DSSC on the absorption wavelength and gap dye energy. The dye used was sea lettuce anthocyanin from Sanur Beach, Bali. As much as 20 grams of dried sea lettuce powder was dissolved in 80 mL of 96% ethanol and 6% HCl. After 24 hours of immersion, it was filtered with Whatman 41 paper. The filtrate was characterized using a UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer so that the absorption wavelengths of the anthocyanin dye were 272.5 nm, 417 nm, and 653.5 nm. The gap energy was calculated using the Tauc Plot method, and the result was 2.826 eV. The dye was applied to make DSSC using the sandwich method, which was then irradiated with white, red, and purple LEDs with respective wavelengths of 400–700 nm (with peaks at 439.67 nm and 550.29 nm), 629.04 nm and 425.38 nm and variations in intensity values, namely 1000 lux, 2000 lux, and 3000 lux. Illumination using purple LEDs produces the maximum current and highest efficiency compared to white and red, namely 1.33 mA, 1.57 mA, and 1.83 mA for 1000 lux, 2000 lux, and 3000 lux, respectively, and the efficiency is 0.0039 for 1000 lux. The purple color has a wavelength close to and intersects with the absorbance wavelength of the dye and has energy (2.918 eV) greater than the gap energy of the sea lettuce dye.

Perancangan Signage Kawasan Wisata Pantai Sanur di Kota Denpasar

Sanur Beach is one of the tourist areas known as the sunrise beach due to its location in the east of the island of Bali. This beach is the right location for domestic and foreign tourists to carry out various activities such as relaxing, swimming, or canoeing. The increasing popularity of Sanur Beach is unfortunately not accompanied by an increase in signage facilities where the existing signage is still inadequate. The purpose of this design is to create typical signage of the Sanur Beach Tourism Area to improve the quality of tourist visits and make it easier for tourists to get information in yet visual communication. The method used to obtain and analyze the data in this design is a qualitative method consisting of natural observation, depth interview, and user persona. The signage concept design produced in the design includes materials, colors, fonts, and design styles that are adjusted to the impression presented by the Sanur Beach environment, which contains elements of refreshing, natural, and fun. The output of this design includes digital visualization of identification signage, directional signage, orientation signage, and regulatory signage in the Sanur Beach Tourism Area. Hotel Prama Sanur Beach which is engaged in lodging accommodation services often experiences problems in the implementation of its operations, especially in the procurement of raw materials such as wrong orders and invoices that do not match orders. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the accounting system for purchasing raw materials for Food & Beverage at Prama Sanur Beach in accordance with the theory. This research uses a comparative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study revealed that the functions related to the purchasing system were inadequate and not in accordance with the theory because of the dual task of the warehouse function and the receiving function. The documents used in the purchasing system at the Prama Sanur Beach Hotel are not sufficient because there is no Purchase Order Change Letter if there is a change to the contents of the purchase order letter to the supplier officially. The records used in the purchasing system and the network of procedures that make up the purchasing system for food and beverage raw materials at hotels are adequate because they are in accordance with existing theory.

Employees, employees, workers are human beings who use their energy and abilities to get a reward in the form of money or in other forms to the company. The success of a company is inseparable from the role of employees, because employees are not just an object, they can be said to be planners, controllers and assets of a company by contributing to the company in the form of their abilities, expertise and skills. Therefore, job satisfaction and employee motivation are very influential for a company. This study aims to determine how the influence of job satisfaction and work motivation on employee performance at Prama Sanur Beach Hotel Bali. This study used a qualitative method, in which researchers used data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participant observation. The results show that the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on employee performance is very influential, the company is currently still unable to provide maximum job satisfaction to employees because work wages are still cut due to Covid-19, therefore work motivation cannot be measured with certainty. , because employees still want to get better to improve their performance.

Concentrations of Heavy Metals in Three Brown Seaweed (Phaeophyta: Phaeophyceae) Collected from Tourism Area in Sanur Beach, Coast of Denpasar, Bali and Public Health Risk Assessment

This study aims to examine the concentration of heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Hg, and As) in brown algae (Sargassum aquifolium, Padina australis, and Turbinaria ornata.) and the possible exposure to health risks caused by consumption. Heavy metal concentrations were determined using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) on brown seaweed samples obtained from three different sites. The average concentration of heavy metals in the dry weight of brown seaweed remains within the guidelines established by The Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) Number 32 of 2019 concerning the Safety and Quality of Traditional Medicines, which is then used to calculate the estimated daily intake (EDI), target hazard quotient (THQ and TTHQ), and target cancer risk (TCR) for arsenic associated with food exposure to potentially toxic metallic elements. Each species of brown seaweed has a THQ and TTHQ level of <1, indicating that one or more toxic metal elements in the same meal provide no significant non-carcinogenic risk. The TCR for arsenic in these seaweeds are all less than 1 x 10-4, indicating no cancer risk. There are no chronic health hazards related with the ingestion of brown seaweed harvested from the coast of Sanur Beach at Denpasar, Bali.

The foundation is the lower part of the structure which functions to continue the load of the upper structure as a result of the forces that occur in the upper structure. The choice of foundation type is influenced by the location of the hard soil depth. The amount of bearing capacity is also influenced by the cross-sectional shape of the foundation. In this study, a pile foundation with square, triangular, and circular sections and a drill pile was compared to obtain a foundation alternative that was more effective with different sections in terms of strength with relatively the same cross-sectional area and more efficient in terms of implementation in the field and at a lower cost economical. This research took a case study on the Inna Sanur Beach Hotel Development Project with clay and sand conditions. The calculation of the carrying capacity of a single pile foundation is carried out by taking the calculation of the bearing capacity based on the SPT value and the sondir value. The maximum load received by the piles in the group is calculated so that it is not greater than the carrying capacity of a single pile. The pile foundation with square sections has the largest bearing capacity of the pile group and the drill pile has the smallest bearing capacity of the pile group. The maximum load control received by the pile group is smaller than the carrying capacity of a single pile foundation so that the structure is safe. In terms of implementation, the pile foundation is more efficient and more economical than the bored pile foundation.

Analisis kebijakan kredit dalam upaya penagihan piutang travel agent di fairmont sanur beach bali

This study aims to determine the credit policy applied at the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali Hotel for the 2017 – 2019 period and to find out the factors causing delays in collecting travel agent receivables at the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali Hotel for the 2017 – 2019 period. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis technique. By using the analysis technique namely, account receivable turn over, average collection period, credit policy, credit standard, terms of credit and receivable collection policy.The results showed that there were deviations from the credit policy set by management, namely 12 times for the receivables turnover rate and 30 days for the average day for collection of receivables. But the realization is that in 2017 the receivables turnover rate was 7.25 times, in 2018 it was 6.71 times and in 2019 it was 6.11 times. Likewise, on the average day of collection of receivables, in 2017 it was 50 days, in 2018 it was 54 days and in 2019 it was 60 days. The hotel does not follow the standards set by the hotel management. The 5 C's of Credit have not been fully implemented in accordance with hotel policy. Likewise, not applying discounts and fines to travel agents. From the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the collection of receivables from travel agents at the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali Hotel did not take place optimally.

Extraction and characterization of sodium alginate from three brown algae collected from Sanur Coastal Waters, Bali as biopolymer agent

Extraction and characterization of sodium alginate from three brown algae collected from Sanur Coastal Waters, Bali as biopolymer agent. Biodiversitas 23: 1655-1663. Sodium alginate extracted algae are gaining attention as alternative biopolymer materials. This research aimed to extract and characterize the natrium alginate from three brown algae obtained from Sanur Beach, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. Alginate extraction was carried out using acid hydrolysis by Na2CO3 with further purification using isopropyl alcohol. Physicochemical characterization was carried out using FT-IR. The results showed that Sargassum aquifolium and Turbinaria ornata had higher yields (%) than Padina australis (P<0.05). There was no significant difference (P>0.05) in water content, protein content, fat content and pH of the three brown algae. Overall, these three types of brown algae have values ??that are close to the sodium alginate standard set by the Food Chemical Codex (FCC), except for the results of Padina australis in the yield parameter. The functional group Na which is characteristic of sodium alginate is present in all alginate isomers, but there are some functional groups that are still not available in the extraction process in this study based on FT-IR analysis. These findings indicate that sodium alginate extracts from various types of brown algae have specific characteristics as defined by the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) and show great potential to be used as biopolymer materials, especially in the biomedical field.
