Educational psychology plays an important role in the learning process in this research. This study investigates the relationship, scope, study, importance and role of psychology in education, especially in learning activities. The results of the analysis show that the role of psychology in education is very important to take psychological actions that are appropriate to every aspect of education. Therefore, teachers must understand the mental state of their students so that they can measure their students' understanding and abilities so that learning and teaching activities run optimally and effectively. With the help of educational psychology, teachers can (1) understand that each of their students is not the same; (2) determine a learning method and strategy; (3) create a conducive learning environment; (4) facilitating students with direction and guidance; and (5) assessing learning outcomes.
