EFFECTIVENESS OF THE “MATCHING” PROGRAM AS AN EFFORT TO REDUCE STUNTING IN BONCAH KESUMA VILLAGE, KABUN SUB-DISTRICT, ROKAN HULU DISTRICT

Addressing stunting in Rokan Hulu Regency remains a top priority. Boncah Kesuma Village is one of the stunting hotspots designated by the Rokan Hulu Regent’s Decree in 2023. The MATCHING Program (Memelihara Ayam peTelur CegaH stuntING – Raising Chickens to Prevent Stunting) is an innovation by the Boncah Kesuma Village government to accelerate stunting reduction, and it is the first village in Rokan Hulu Regency to implement the program. This program is carried out in collaboration with the Village Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team and the Toddler Family Group. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the "MATCHING" program in accelerating stunting reduction in the village. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of the "MATCHING" program to accelerate stunting reduction has been optimal, with positive impacts on health, economic, and social aspects. It is hoped that this program can serve as a reference for village governments throughout Rokan Hulu Regency, particularly for villages identified as stunting hotspots. By 2024, it is expected that the stunting rate in Rokan Hulu will be reduced to below the national target.

Analysis of The Transformation of The District Economic System in Riau Province

This research aims to look at the economic structure transformation in each district in Riau Province. The method used is analyzing competitive advantage and specialization of Esteban Marquillass and Klassen typology. From the results of processing, it is known that agriculture, forestry, and fisheries are superior sectors, have competitiveness, and are specialized in 6 districts in Riau, namely Indragiri Hulu (Inhu), Kampar, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Pelalawan, Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing), and Rokan Hulu (Rohul). The manufacturing industry is a superior sector that has competitiveness and specialization in Dumai City, and the trade sector is a sector that has a competitive advantage and specialization in Pekanbaru City. Meanwhile, no single industry has a competitive advantage and specialization in 4 other districts (Siak, Bengkalis, Rokan Hilir, and Kepulauan Meranti). Processing results with the Klassen typology show that the agricultural industry in Kuansing, Inhu, and Kampar Regencies, which 2012 was developing, will shift to become a mainstay sector in 2022. In contrast, in Bengkalis, Pekanbaru, and Dumai Regencies, this sector is still one of the lagging economic sectors.

Implementation of Drug Logistics Management in The Pharmacy Installation of Surya Insani Hospital Pasir Pangaraian Rokan Hulu Regency

Background: The availability of drugs currently creates demand for medical services. Drug logistics management in hospitals includes stages such as planning, procurement, storage, distribution, processing, evaluation and monitoring, and are interdependent on each other so that they must be well coordinated so that each stage can run optimally. Objectives: Knowing the Implementation of Drug Logistics Management in Hospital Pharmacy Installations Surya Insani Research method: Qualitative descriptive research with a cross-sectional approach. Results: In the input component, There is a positive and significant relationship between training and employee performance. To ensure the quality of supplies and extend the life of equipment, there must be a sufficient budget for purchasing drugs and maintaining drug storage facilities and other related equipment. The results of the study also showed that the adequacy of planned drugs and the number of drugs available during the inventory period are important and appropriate when needed. This shows that drug management, both input and drug administration processes, still need to be evaluated so that drug management at the Surya Insani Pasir Pangaraian Hospital can be effective and efficient. Conclusion: The availability of drugs at the Pharmacy Installation of Surya Insani Hospital is in accordance with needs.

Collaborative Governance Strategy in Increasing Production and Strengthening Food Diversification in Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia

This research aims to analyze Collaborative Governance strategies in food diversification efforts in Rokan Hulu Regency, focusing on the regional food policy context. Utilizing qualitative analysis with the Nvivo 12 Plus tool, it systematically processes interview and online media data, revealing key factors such as coordination (47.06%), trust (29.41%), and commitment to common goals (23.53%) that influence collaborative governance. The novelty lies in highlighting the low level of stakeholder commitment, linked to a lack of participation forums, which impacts local food consumption patterns still dependent on rice. While leadership and institutional design are identified as critical aspects of collaborative governance, this study advances the discourse by emphasizing the dominance of the government sector and the need for more balanced stakeholder involvement in program implementation. It also underscores the importance of developing alternative commodities like corn and cassava to enhance food diversification. This research contributes to the state of the art by offering timely insights into the practical challenges of collaboration, advancing both theoretical and applied aspects of governance in rural food security strategies.

Consumer Perception of Palm Sugar Products in Rokan Hulu District, Indonesia: A Prospective Analysis Approach

The demand for palm sugar has been consistently increasing each year, particularly due to the growing public awareness of health benefits. Palm sugar is considered a safer sweetener option due to its low glycemic index and absence of side effects. The primary objective of this research is to analyze consumer perceptions regarding the attributes of palm sugar. This analysis is crucial in assessing consumer satisfaction and loyalty toward palm sugar consumption. Consequently, the findings will contribute to enhancing the marketing mix strategies for palm sugar. The survey method was employed to conduct this research, with a sample size of 30 consumer respondents selected through random sampling. Additionally, an opinion poll was conducted with key individuals to gather insights on the development of palm sugar products. The collected data were then analyzed using a prospective analysis approach. The research results indicate that specific attributes significantly influence consumer perceptions when purchasing palm sugar. Consumer perceptions in purchasing palm sugar are based on details of the marketing mix attributes which are the determining attributes, namely: taste, quality, palm sugar color, texture, popularity of craftsmen, and price. The marketing development implications of this research are improvements to three attribute components, namely raw material composition information, product standards, hygiene, partnerships, and technology. Implementation of Family Functions in Pagaran Tapah Village Pagaran Tapah Darussalam District Rokan Hulu Regency (Study Case: Early Marriage)

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pagaran Tapah Kecamatan Pagaran Tapah Darussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan fungsi keluarga pada pasangan yang melakukan pernikahan dini di Desa Pagaran Tapah serta apa saja hambatan dalam melaksanakan fungsi keluarga tersebut. Subjek dalam penelitian ini di ambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Struktural Fungsional Talcott Parson yaitu dengan melihat struktur dan fungsi yang ada di dalam sebuah keluarga dengan pelaksanaan fungsi keluarga menurut konsep dari Paul B. Horton dan Chester L. Hunt. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi dan juga dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu keseluruhan pasangan subjek penelitian ini dalam pelaksanaan fungsi sosialisasi, perlindungan dan ekonomi tidak berjalan dengan baik, namun dalam pelaksanaan fungsi afeksi dari 5 pasangan subjek terdapat 3 pasangan yang berjalan dengan baik. Hambatan yang di alami oleh pasangan subjek dalam pelaksanaan fungsi keluarga yaitu pengetahuan yang rendah, belum memiliki pengalaman, tidak memiliki pekerjaan, emosi yang belum stabil, komunikasi yang tidak baik, dan belum mampu mengelola keuangan.

Sensory Deafness in Workers at PT X Rokan Hulu Palm Oil Mill

Sensorineural deafness is a type of hearing loss that commonly occurs due to noise exposure in the workplace, including in palm oil mills (PKS). This condition can reduce the quality of life of workers and have an impact on productivity. This study aims to identify the prevalence and factors that influence the occurrence of sensorineural deafness in palm oil mill workers, with a focus on the Pekanbaru area. This research method uses observational research, measuring deafness using a tuning fork. at PT X in July 2020. Results. From the analysis univariate It was found that 58.6% of PKS workers experienced sensorineural deafness. The conclusion is that more than half of the workers experiencing sensorineural deafness .

QUR'AN HEALING TECHNIQUE (QHT) METHOD TO OVERCOME MENTAL DISORDERS IN RESIDENTS OF THE BOARDING SCHOOL OF REHABILITATION QUR'AN HEALING INDONESIA (RQHI) ROKAN HULU DISTRICT

This article aims to find out the implementation of the Qur'an Healing Technique (QHT) method in overcoming psychiatric disorders in inmates at the Indonesian Qur'an Healing Rehabilitation Islamic boarding school in Rokan Hulu District. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation data. The key informants in this study are the leaders of the Indonesian Qur'an Healing Rehabilitation Islamic boarding school, and 3 informants, namely therapists in the Indonesian Qur'an Healing Rehabilitation Islamic boarding school. From the results of the research on the implementation of the Qur'an Healing Technique (QHT) method in overcoming psychiatric disorders in inmates at the Qur'an Healing Indonesia rehabilitation Islamic boarding school, there are 3 stages. The initial stage is to carry out an assessment and continue with tazkiyatun nafs (cleansing of the soul) where the inmates are taught to pray five times in congregation, reciting, memorizing verses of the Qur'an, and being taught religious sciences that function as a pattern of forming human beings with good morals and fear Allah Swt. In the second stage, namely ruqyah shariah, with prayers and readings from the Qur'an and sunnah that contain requests for help and protection to Allah Swt to prevent or treat diseases and diseases. In the third stage, namely, hijamah which means cupping for cleansing dirty blood and wind, by removing the remaining toxins in the body through the surface of the skin by suctioning. Thus, the implementation of the Qur'an Healing Technique method for inmates with psychiatric disorders has undergone better changes than before, and they feel calmer.

Effectiveness of the Role of the Rokan Hulu Regency Transportation Service in Monitoring Illegal Travel in Pasir Pengaraian City

This research aims to find out how effective the role of the Rokan Hulu district transportation service is in monitoring illegal travel in the city of Pasir Pengaraian. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The indicators in this research are input, process, output and outcome. This research was conducted at the Rokan Hulu Regency transportation service. Collecting data obtained through interviews, observation, documentation. The author's technique for determining informants uses the snowball sampling method. The snowball sampling method is a technique for taking data sources, initially the number is small and then becomes larger, this is because the few data sources are not able to provide satisfactory data, so look for other informants to use as data sources. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the role of the Rokan Hulu Regency Transportation Service in monitoring illegal travel in Pasir Pengaraian City is still not effective and optimal because what happens in the field in the monitoring process is only monitoring actions in routine operations and raids, but these activities are still rare. done. The inhibiting factors or obstacles for the Rokan Hulu district transportation service are that they are still careless in terms of supervision, lack of certainty and schedule in carrying out supervision, limited budget, lack of level of public awareness, and still difficulty for transport drivers in processing permits..

Conflict Management of Hot Spring Forest Tourism Objects in Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency

Nowadays, social conflicts in society are increasingly varied and take many forms, even tending to shift and develop into long-standing acts of violence that we can even feel directly. The increase in forest utilization as an industrial sector has triggered conflicts related to licensing, violation of regulations, and illegal exploitation of forest areas by communities. The complexity of problems arising from the forest utilization process is also caused by the inconsistency of policy makers, especially local governments that act as the authority that issues forest area management permits This research was conducted in hot spring forest tourism in Pendalian IV Koto sub-district, Rokan Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the Conflict Management of Tourism Objects in Hot Water Village, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency and to determine the inhibiting factors in solving Conflict Management of Tourism Objects in Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data collection is carried out using observation, interviews and documentation.Data analysis using the Moles and Huberman model is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of this study show collaboration, accommodation, dominance, avoidance and compromise in resolving conflict management in hot spring forest tourism in Pendalian IV Koto sub-district, Rokan Hulu Regency.

A Qualitative Study on the Influencing Factors of E-Government Adoption to Improve Public Trust in Local Government: Case Study of Rokan Hulu Municipality

Amidst global public trust challenges, e-government emerges as a promising solution to bolster trust. In Indonesia, rural areas face obstacles hindering effective e-government implementation. This paper explores Rokan Hulu Municipality's initiatives, aiming to understand e-government's impact on public trust at the rural/district level, bridging critical knowledge gaps. This study employs a qualitative approach to investigate the factors influencing e-government adoption. Primary data is gathered through interviews with key stakeholders, supplemented by secondary data from organizational documents. Employing open and axial coding, this study organizes findings to the Technology-Organization-Environment framework. Within the technological dimension, obstacles such as infrastructure; integration and interoperability; data security and confidentiality; and service providers, third parties, or vendors emerge as significant barriers. In the organization dimension, culture, organizational capability, budget constraints, human resource quality, perceptions, bureaucracy, and strategy become challenges, with organizational capability and strategy showing mixed impacts due to incomplete initiatives and limited inter-agency coordination. In environment dimension, digital divide, regulatory availability, and public participation become inhibiting factors, while political intervention becomes the driving factor.

ISLAM JAWA DAN PEACEFUL ISLAM SEBAGAI KONTRA RADIKALISME ISLAM DI PEDALAMAN RIAU, SUMATERA KONTEMPORER

This article is the result of research on the locality of Islam in Indonesia post-reformation, focusing on the rural areas of Riau, Sumatra. The study examines the dynamics of local Islam in three regencies, namely Siak, Pelalawan, and Rokan Hulu, in the province of Riau, uncovering various interesting phenomena. The Riau Malay Islam, which has deep historical roots influenced by Sufism, has developed a pattern and character of peaceful Islam. This peaceful Islam character is shaped through the acculturation of local traditions and culture. At a glance, this peaceful Islam seems to be a collective identity of the Riau Malay Muslims that is unchanging. However, this is not the case. Post-reformation Islam in Riau has undergone dynamic changes. The rise of radical Islamic ideologies promoted by several radical Islamic organizations has led to a shift in the mindset of the Malay Muslims from moderate and peaceful to more radical. Amidst this shift in Islamic thought in modern Riau Malay, networks of Javanese Muslims from various pesantren in Java affiliated with the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) organization have been promoting the spirit of Javanese Islam, which is peaceful, akin to the Malay Islam inherited from their ancestors. In this open social structure, each actor plays a role in interpreting Islam within the mentioned social structure.

Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Flipbook Pada Mata Pelajaran Produk Kreatif Dan Kewirausahaan

Research on flipbook-based electronic modules (e-modules) in the learning of creative entrepreneurial products in class Implementation, 5) Evaluation. Research on the development of flipbook-based e-modules was carried out at the Ujungbatu vocational high school, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The data collected was validation data tested by media experts and material experts. The results from both experts show the category is very feasible. The validation test carried out by media experts got a percentage of 85%, while the validation test score obtained by material experts got a percentage of 83%. Research on the development of digital flipbook-based e-modules involved 15 students in field tests by students getting a result of 84%, it can be concluded that the development of a flipbook-based e-module on the subject of creative entrepreneurial products is in the very suitable category for use

Transformation of Record Keeping: Development of E-Archive Applications Towards Modern Information Governance

The transformation of record-keeping through technology-driven approaches has become an urgent necessity in addressing the demands of modern information governance. This study explores and analyzes the challenges encountered and solutions adopted during the implementation of the E-Archive application in the Modern Market of Rokan Hulu Regency. The deployment of this application, which is web-based and utilizes a MySQL database, involves requirements analysis, design, development, and implementation phases. The research findings highlight that this transformation has positively impacted record-keeping, enhancing efficiency, speed of access, and data accuracy. Nevertheless, the study also identifies several issues, including challenges in data collection and migration, as well as user adaptation to the new system. The web-based technology solutions and MySQL database, while offering solutions for some aspects, also bring certain challenges. The results of this research provide valuable insights into the potential and constraints of implementing the E-Archive application in the context of the modern market and similar sectors. Moreover, it underscores the importance of understanding and addressing issues throughout the information governance transformation process.

Analisis Disparitas Distribusi Pendapatan Petani Kelapa Sawit di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

The analysis aims to examine disparities in income distribution among oil palm farmers in Rokan Hulu Regency. Primary data consists of the results of distributing questionnaires to 100 oil palm farmers in the research location, then analyzed using the Gini coefficient and Lorenz curve methods. Research findings indicate that the income distribution gap for oil palm farmers in Rokan Hulu Regency tends to be low, meaning that the average income is almost evenly distributed. However, integration or comparison with other research locations is needed to obtain more comprehensive results.

Pengelolaan Situs Cagar Budaya Istana Rokan Dan Rumah Hulubalang Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

Management of the Rokan Palace Cultural Heritage Site, Rokan Hulu Regency, where this Cultural Heritage is managed by the Center for the Preservation of Cultural Values of Riau Islands Province, the Rokan Palace cultural heritage site has several problems, namely human resources that are not yet professional, lack of promotion of the Rokan Palace tourist destination, there are still too many facilities and Infrastructure in tourist destinations is damaged and inadequate, and rehabilitation budgeting is not yet optimal. The aim of this research is to describe how the Rokan Palace Cultural Heritage Site is managed and to find out the factors inhibiting the management of the Rokan Palace Cultural Heritage in Rokan Hulu Regency. This research method uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. This research was conducted in Rokan Hulu Regency and in Koto Ruang Village, Rokan IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. There were 5 informants for this research. The type of research data used in this research is primary data in the form of data and information originating from primary sources and research informants, and secondary data in the form of documents obtained from related documents. Data collection techniques in this research are interview, documentation and observation techniques. The management of the Rokan Palace Cultural Heritage is managed by the cultural preservation center (BPK) Region IV with indicators of Planning, Organizing, Supervising and Evaluation. Then there are inhibiting factors, namely internal and external inhibiting factors. So the researchers concluded that the management was not optimal, because the Rokan Palace Cultural Heritage was still neglected, there was a lack of community participation in preserving the Rokan Palace, a lack of visits, and a lack of maximum performance by the custodian due to the lack of human resources in the management tasked by BPK.

Marketing of processed aren agroindustry (kolang–kaling) rokan hulu district

The purpose of this study was to look at the marketing of processed sugar palm agroindustry (Kolang – Kaling) in Rokan Hulu Regency. This research was carried out by Rokan Hulu Regency because Rokan Hulu Regency is one of the regencies that has a large distribution of palm plants and has developed in the household industry. This research was carried out using a survey method on consumers who consume palm agro-industrial products, namely kolang-kaling. Respondent collection was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling method. The survey was conducted purposively which aimed to find out how the marketing process of kolang-kaling products occurred in Rokan Hulu Regency. The results show the response of consumers to the appearance of the product, packaging that still does not use special packaging, and the absence of product labels. Meanwhile, in terms of price, kolang-kaling follows the prevailing price in the market, which is Rp. 10,000 – 15,000. The distribution of kolang-kaling is carried out to traditional markets only, and promotional activities are still carried out on a limited basis (direct sales).

Understanding Traditional Malay Communities In Riau Using The Levi-Strauss Framework Of Structuralism

Riau is one of the provinces in the middle of the island of Sumatra. Geographically, Riau's land stretches from the slopes of Bukit Barisan to the coast of the Strait of Malacca. Many traditional Malay settlements are found along the Kampar River, Rokan River, Kampar River, and Indragiri River. Malays are very dominant in Riau Province, but there are also various other ethnic tribes such as Chinese, Banjar, and others. This study will examine the typology of Malay settlements in Riau Province. Typology is the study of types, that is, the attempt to conduct a review of types based on certain criteria. In this case, the framework of Levi-Strauss structuralism is the basis for a review of typology. Levi-Strauss believes that structuralism based on structural studies developed in culture, such as myths, beliefs, language, and symbols can be used as a reference for understanding a society including in the study of traditional settlements. This study uses literature research methods. The stages of the literature review are determining research topics, collecting information and data through various materials and scientific papers, discussion, and writing. Learn from various information about Malay settlements in Riau Province such as the Koto Sentajo settlement, Akit Tribe settlement, Kampung Dalam settlement, Siak Hulu settlement, and Rokan Hulu Defense Village settlement. Culture played an important role in the formation of these traditional Malay settlements. Each Malay settlement formed its distinctive features based on the cultural structure that was developed and adopted. Different cultural elements such as Malay dialects, social strata structures, customary institutions, rituals, inheritance, and kinship systems affect different typologies of traditional Malay settlements.

Development of Historical Calendar Media to Improve Students' Historical Thinking on World War I and II Material for Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kabun

SMAN 1 Kabun is one of the high schools in Kabun sub-district, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. At SMAN 1 Kabun, there are several students who still encounter problems in the learning process in the field, one of which is that when studying history, students listen more to explanations from teachers or educators. The learning resources used are printed books or packages and the use of learning media is less varied, during the learning process the teaching media used are books and projectors. So that students don't get bored quickly in learning and to improve students' historical thinking skills, researchers took the initiative to create a historical media calendar to improve students' thinking skills at SMA Negeri 1 Kabun. The research was carried out with the aim of developing the enthusiasm of students at SMAN 1 Kabun towards the subject. history by developing historical calendar learning media and conducting historical calendar feasibility tests for history learning at SMAN 1 Kabun, and seeing students' responses regarding historical calendar learning media. The research method used is the ADDIE development model. Based on research conducted, the historical calendar learning media was declared suitable for use in the teaching and learning process after analysis was carried out by material experts, media and students. The results of the validation of historical calendar learning media on World War I and II material by material experts obtained a total of 53 assessments while the percentage obtained was 96% in the very appropriate category, media experts with a total of 62 assessments while the percentage obtained was 88% in the very appropriate category, and the results of student respondents before using the media, the assessment given was 911 while the percentage obtained was 52% in the Fairly Good category. The results of student respondents learning using historical calendar media included a total of 1577 assessments, while the percentage obtained was 90% in the very good category. This research still experiences research limitations, where the research produced is still at a beginner level, so the researcher hopes that there will be research that can develop this historical calendar learning media so that it can be applied to other schools.

The Assessment of Hapanasan Hot Spring Nature Tourism Based on the Analysis of Working Areas for Nature Tourism Objects and Attractions

Hapanasan Hot Spring Nature Tourism (HHSNT) is located in Rambah Tengah Baru Village, Rambah Sub-district, Rokan Hulu District, Riau Province. The area of HHSNT is 9 ha. This research aims to identify existing facilities in this area and assess the attractiveness, accessibility, environmental conditions, accommodation, infrastructure, and availability of clean water at this nature tourist location. In-depth interviews were conducted with 13 key informants. Direct observation was carried out by systematically observing and recording this region's potential nature tourist attractions. The analysis of working areas for nature tourism objects and attractions (Analisis Daerah Operasi-Objek Daya Tarik Wisata Alam/ADO-ODTWA) is used to determine the feasibility value of this tourist attraction. The results of this research show that the criteria value for attractiveness is 83.33%, the criteria for accessibility is 95.83%, the criteria for accommodation is 83.33%, the criteria for supporting facilities and infrastructure is 80%, the criteria for availability of clean water is 73.88%, and the criteria for socio-economic environmental conditions is 66.66%. Overall, the HHSNT area is worthy of development, with a percentage of 80.50%. The development of HHSNT can bring numerous benefits to the community, economy, and environment of Rokan Hulu. It can contribute to sustainable development while preserving the region's nature and cultural heritage for future generations
