Research Progress in Remote Sensing Image Texture Analysis

Current remote sensing image texture analysis and research is based texture feature. Specialist, who home and abroad, has been continuously explore an optimal extraction process and texture analyze method or through a variety of methods to realize extraction of remote sensing texture information. There are three directions, which including the research of optimal scale, the fusion of method, the proposal and improvement of new algorithm, could comprehensive summary about recent research progress in remote sensing image texture analysis by sorting and analyzing information extraction of remote sensing texture features, the progress of texture analysis methods and the application of analysis methods in recent years. At the same time, a prediction was made for future development of remote sensing image texture analysis. Five development directions are summarized: fusion method, scale selection, continuation and improvement of traditional methods based on symbiotic gray matrix and wavelet analysis, research and exploration of object-oriented and deep learning methods, and research of new algorithms to improve the information extraction effect.

2D Graph Plotter and Visualizer

In many fields of science and engineering, we often encounter the problem of solving N linear equations of type x + y and trigonometric equations. All technological, biological and social networks can be represented as graphs. Therefore, graphs are used in the research of new algorithms and protocols based on simulation in various fields of science. We aim to create a python-based graph generator that will draw any type of equation i.e., linear, algebraic, trigonometric and logarithmic on the graph. More importantly, the application is designed to draw multiple graphs on the same canvas and then analyse the results. We have included one more module where user can upload a CSV file consisting of raw and get a desired pie chart, line graph as well as bar graph. Our system mainly focuses on generating a output for a later analysis by downloading the graphs they have plotted.

The Role of Glycoprotein IIb/IIIa Inhibitors- A Promise Not Kept?

For over one decade Glycoproteins IIb/IIIa inhibitors (GPI) have been administered to prevent coronary artery thrombosis. Initially these agents were used for acute coronary syndromes and subsequently as adjunctive pharmacotherapy for percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs). Most benefit of GPI emerged from reduction of ischemic events: mostly non-q-wave myocardial infarctions (NQWMIs) during PCI. However, individual randomized clinical trials could not demonstrate that any of these agents could significantly reduce mortality in any clinical subset of patients. Studies of employing prolonged oral GPI administration resulted in excessive death. The non-homogenous statistically-significant reduction of ischemic endpoints was accompanied by an excess of bleeding, vascular complications, and thrombocytopenia. The clinical and ecomomic burden of major bleeding and thrombocytopenia is substantial. The ACUITY trial has initiate a new debate regarding the efficacy and safety of GPI. Selective “patient-tailored” use of GPI limited to moderate-high risk PCI patients with low bleeding propensity is suggested. Research of new algorithms emphasizing abbreviated GPI administration, careful access site and bleeding surveillance, in conjunction with lower doses of unfractionated heparin or new and safer anti-thrombins may further enhance patient safety.
