Spatial Differentiation Characteristics of Rural Areas Based on Machine Learning and GIS Statistical Analysis—A Case Study of Yongtai County, Fuzhou City

With the development of machine learning and GIS (geographic information systems) technology, it is possible to combine them to mine the knowledge rules behind massive spatial data. GIS, also known as geographic information systems, is a comprehensive discipline, which combines geography and cartography and has been widely used in different fields. It is a computer system for inputting, storing, querying, analyzing, and displaying geographic data. This paper mainly studies the spatial differentiation characteristics of rural areas based on machine learning (ML) and GIS statistical analysis. This paper studies 21 township units in Yongtai County. In this paper, ENVI remote sensing image processing software is used to carry out the geometric correction of Landsat-8 remote sensing data. ML is multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary, involving probability theory, statistics, approximation theory, convex analysis, algorithm complexity theory, and other disciplines. It is specialized in studying how computers simulate or realize human learning behavior to obtain new knowledge or skills, and reorganize existing knowledge structures to continuously improve its own performance. The purpose of using band fusion is to provide more data information for the study and improve the accuracy of land classification results. Through the extraction of evaluation elements, this paper preliminarily confirms the evaluation index object of a rural human settlement environment evaluation system from the perspective of spatial layout rationality. This paper uses a VMD-GWO-ELM-based three-stage evolutionary extreme learning machine evaluation method to simulate the model. In the same way, when the model is trained again, extra weight is given to extract the feature points to reduce the similarity. Experimental data show that GWO-SVM has good classification performance, with the cross-validation rate reaching 91.66% and the recognition rate of test samples reaching 82.41%. The results show that GIS statistics can provide a reference for environmental protection, which is conducive to land-use planning, implementation of environmental impact assessment of land-use planning, and ultimately achieving sustainable development.

Analysis and Evaluation of Ecological Environment Monitoring Based on PIE Remote Sensing Image Processing Software

With the continuous improvement of people’s demand for ecological environment quality, the research on ecological environment monitoring, analysis and evaluation had been paid more and more attention by relevant departments and personnel. Because the images collected by remote sensing technology were many and multi-source, the features extracted from remote sensing images using traditional methods had been difficult to meet the needs of related industry applications. Therefore, this paper made use of the advantages of PIE remote sensing image processing software in data analysis and processing, and put forward the research on ecological environment monitoring, analysis and evaluation methods. Firstly, on the basis of summarizing the concepts and related problems of ecological environment, this paper analyzed the processing methods of remote sensing data sources of ecological environment, and explained the evaluation standards and common methods of ecological environment. Secondly, the composition of PIE remote sensing image processing technology system and its application advantages were described, the common indicators and analysis methods of ecological environment monitoring were given, and the index system and model of ecological environment comprehensive evaluation were established. Finally, through the analysis of experimental cases, the results showed that the ecological environment monitoring analysis and evaluation method proposed in this paper was feasible. Compared with the traditional methods, the method proposed in this paper could objectively evaluate the ecological environment. This paper can not only provide support for the analysis and processing of remote sensing image data, but also provide an important reference for the application of remote sensing technology in the field of ecological environment.

RESEARCH ORIENTED REMOTE SENSING IMAGE PROCESSING SOFTWARE DESIGN IN PRACTICAL COURSES FOR SENIOR UNDERGRADUATES

Abstract. Remote sensing is not only the teaching content of the majors of surveying and mapping, but also the teaching content of many other engineering majors in China, such as Detection, Guidance and Control Technology (DGCT), Aerocraft Control and Information Engineering (ACIE), etc. In this paper, we put forward the special teaching task of remote sensing image processing software design to the practical courses, named Specialty Course Design and Specialty Comprehensive Experiments, for senior engineering undergraduate students in their last academic year. In this research oriented task, students are required to design, code and implement a remote sensing image processing software under the specified software programming conditions, and carry out detailed software testing, so as to meet several application functions with research objectives. According to the collation and summary of five rounds of teaching practice of such research oriented remote sensing image processing software design tasks in practical courses, we find that it can not only cultivate the ability of students to comprehensively use the knowledge they have learned, but also enable them to better analyze the actual application needs and acquire the technology and ability closer to the actual work needs.

Research on Remote Sensing Dynamic Monitoring of Ecological Resource Environment Based on GIS

SPOT and ETM+ satellite images are used as the main source of information. The remote sensing image processing software ERDASIMAGINE and the geographic information system software ARCVIEWGIS have been used. The technical method and work flow of remote sensing dynamic monitoring of resources and ecological environment based on GIS are studied. The geometric correction, registration, filtering, fusion and information extraction of remote sensing images have been completed. Data mining and professional maps based on GIS are produced and updated. The key techniques are analyzed and studied. In addition, the natural ecological environment of the region was evaluated.

A New Image Processing Procedure Integrating PCI-RPC and ArcGIS-Spline Tools to Improve the Orthorectification Accuracy of High-Resolution Satellite Imagery

Given the low accuracy of the traditional remote sensing image processing software when orthorectifying satellite images that cover mountainous areas, and in order to make a full use of mutually compatible and complementary characteristics of the remote sensing image processing software PCI-RPC (Rational Polynomial Coefficients) and ArcGIS-Spline, this study puts forward a new operational and effective image processing procedure to improve the accuracy of image orthorectification. The new procedure first processes raw image data into an orthorectified image using PCI with RPC model (PCI-RPC), and then the orthorectified image is further processed using ArcGIS with the Spline tool (ArcGIS-Spline). We used the high-resolution CBERS-02C satellite images (HR1 and HR2 scenes with a pixel size of 2 m) acquired from Yangyuan County in Hebei Province of China to test the procedure. In this study, when separately using PCI-RPC and ArcGIS-Spline tools directly to process the HR1/HR2 raw images, the orthorectification accuracies (root mean square errors, RMSEs) for HR1/HR2 images were 2.94 m/2.81 m and 4.65 m/4.41 m, respectively. However, when using our newly proposed procedure, the corresponding RMSEs could be reduced to 1.10 m/1.07 m. The experimental results demonstrated that the new image processing procedure which integrates PCI-RPC and ArcGIS-Spline tools could significantly improve image orthorectification accuracy. Therefore, in terms of practice, the new procedure has the potential to use existing software products to easily improve image orthorectification accuracy.

The key point for gold exploration using remote sensing technology is the information extraction of ore-forming structures and spectral characteristics of ferrite oxides and altered hydrous minerals.On the basis of the remote sensing image processing software(ENVI 4.0) and by using a new quick,exact and effective method for extraction of gold mineralization and alteration information,namely "multivariate data analysis+ratio+PCA+DS+classification",the spectral characteristics of altered minerals can be extracted,and the influence of the vegetation can be suppressed.It is demonstrated that the gold mineralization and alteration information is in accordance with the known mine spot,and the method is very feasible.

Image analysis method in application of digital image on diagnosing wheat nitrogen status

简便、快速、经济地诊断作物氮素营养状况是实施氮肥用量调控的关键。利用数码相机对作物冠层进行拍照, 通过图像处理软件获得作物色彩参数, 根据色彩参数与作物氮素营养状况的关系可以对其氮素丰缺进行诊断。针对作物数字图像色彩参数的获取方法, 结合小麦多水平氮肥试验, 采用遥感软件PCI Geomatics的非监督分类功能, 将小麦图像分为土壤、反光叶面和不反光叶面, 与Adobe Photoshop 软件普通图像处理方法对照, 比较分析了小麦图像不同类别叶片的8 种色彩参数与SPAD 值及植株全氮的相关性。结果表明, 返青期小麦反光叶面的G/R 与R/(R+G+B)色彩参数能较好地反映小麦的氮素营养状况; 拔节期不反光叶面和反光叶面的R/(R+G+B)色彩参数与植株全氮相关性较好。利用普通图像处理软件获得色彩参数的方法有待改进, 图像分类后能够提高其色彩参数对作物氮素营养诊断的准确性。
