Harnessing ‘the Force of All Creation’:1 Part Two. Psi-Formation—Psychoenergetic and Quantum Holographic Processes

In Part One (Bradley, 2024b), Love’s ubiquitous power was documented—both for human biopsychosocial function, and for accessing higher consciousness and psychic proficiencies. Here, in Part Two, a quantum holographic account elucidates love’s vital role in psychic interactions—viz, intuition and intention. Psi-formation—psychically induced change—is the power of mind through spirit to shape reality. The concepts of multiscale entanglement and oscillatory entrainment are developed to explain how instant nonlocal communication occurs and how focused intention—psi-formation—can change reality. Reformulation of Tiller’s ‘reaction equation’ highlights Love’s role in the relations of creation among Consciousness, Love, Energy, Information, and Matter.

Relations in Creation and Christology: A Response to Porter

AbstractIn a recent, provocative essay (“Inheriting Wittgenstein's Augustine,” New Blackfriars (February, 2018)), Philip Porter criticizes Augustine's habit of drawing analogies between the embodiment of concepts in language and the Incarnation of the Word as Jesus of Nazareth, suggesting that his distinctions encourage us to drive a wedge between God the Son and the human being, Jesus, whom he is. Porter worries that Augustine succumbs to the linguistic and then theological fantasy that we might peel away the word's flesh, to attain to the Word beneath. He proposes to dissolve this fantasy by way of a Wittgensteinian revision of Augustine's linguistic Christology, eschewing the distinction between the “verbum mentis” and the “verbum vocis,” the better to safeguard the unity of Christ. In what follows, I suggest that while Augustine is indeed tempted toward Christological error by an inappropriate extension of the linguistic analogy, Porter's proposed corrective both neglects important resources from the developed Chalcedonian tradition, and has as its unhappy outcome that “God is robbed of his transcendence, and creation of its true gratuity.”

The Principles of Distinction in Material Substances in the Philosophy of St. Thomas and St. Albert

In this paper we argue that the problem of the one and the many, as first proposed in the West by Parmenides, can be resolved without recourse to either monism or nominalism by an appeal to distinct though mutually ordered principles of distinction in the realm of material substances, namely that of material individuation, distinction according to form, and supposital distinction. This solution, rooted in St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Albert the Great, maintains that what distinguishes one material substance from any other substance absolutely is the agency of the Divine Intellect. This agency elicits in the created material substance the actuality of the relation of creation, which is the cause or principle that, in inhering in the ens creatum as a property subsisting in it, sustains the material substance in its mode of being as suppositum by formally perfecting its distinction with reference to God the Creator.

Canonical quantization of gauge fields in static space-times with applications to Rindler spaces

The canonical quantization in the Weyl gauge of gauge fields in static space-times is presented. With an appropriate definition of transverse and longitudinal components of gauge fields, the Gauss law constraint is resolved explicitly for scalar and spinor QED and a complete nonperturbative solution is given for the quantized Maxwell field coupled to external currents. The formalism is applied in investigations of the electromagnetic field in Rindler spaces. The relation of creation and annihilation operators in Minkowski and Rindler spaces is established, and initial value problems associated with bremsstrahlung of a uniformly accelerated charge are studied. The peculiar scaling properties of scalar and gauge theories in Rindler spaces are discussed, and various quantities such as the photon condensate or the interaction energy of static charges and of scalar sources are computed.

The Christian View of Man: An Examination of Karl Barth's Doctrine

Volume III of the Dogmatik is concerned with creation, and the first part dealt with the act of creation, elucidating from a specifically Christian point of view the relation of creation and covenant. In this second part, it is the creature which is studied. For a theology bound to the Word of God, the questions at issue concern the nature of man, and the enquiry is controlled by the fact of God having become man. The material which is handled in this vast volume is a selection from man's varied attempts to speak about himself. The aim is to illuminate and to correct the speech of the contemporary Christian Church on this subject, and to do so by proper theological method and criteria. The resultant doctrine may not be very different from what is said in section I (A) of the Lambeth Report Part II, but one cannot help asking whether the statements made there have been reached by the searching discipline of dogmatic theology, practised with the seriousness found in Barth's work. His declared purpose is to seek “comprehensive clarifications in theology, and about theology itself”, which will give the Church strength to offer “clarifications in the broad field of politics”, a strength which is not strikingly obvious in the Lambeth conclusions about “The Church and the Modern World” and “The Christian Way of Life”.
