FCE unit running on biogas at Riverside wastewater plant

A megawatt-class molten carbonate fuel cell power plant supplied by Connecticut-based FuelCell Energy has been constructed and begun commercial operation at the Riverside Regional Water Quality Control Plant in Riverside, California. Under this turnkey solution, FuelCell Energy has installed and will operate and maintain the fuel cell power plant, while the city simply pays for the power produced.
