Breaking Menstrual Inequality: A Multidimensional Approach to Addressing Period Poverty in China

Menstrual poverty is a complex public health problem that cuts across economic, social, and cultural dimensions. It refers not only to women's inability to afford sanitary products due to economic difficulties, but also to a broader lack of relevant knowledge, privacy protection, and social awareness of the importance of menstrual health. China lacks specific policies to address menstrual equity, especially the social disparities between urban and rural areas. This study aims to explore effective policies and community-based interventions to alleviate menstrual poverty among low-income women and girls in China, taking into account economic, social, and educational factors. The study proposes a comprehensive range of intervention strategies through a literature review, qualitative research, and case studies, including tax credits, public health policies, community distribution programs, education system reform, private-sector partnerships with NGOs, economic empowerment, and social and cultural change. The findings highlight the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration, gender-sensitive policy development, and community engagement in addressing menstrual poverty.

Transformation of Religious Education System in Postcolonial Morocco

This article examines the changes in the Islamic education system in the Kingdom of Morocco during the period of independent development. The primary objective of the study is to explore the unique Moroccan experience of integrating two distinct educational systems: Islamic and secular. The Moroccan practice may serve as a valuable example in light of the pressing issues of countering Islamist radicalism and extremism. The paper discusses the historical context, the reasons for governmental and societal attention to this topic, and the key stages in the transformation of the religious education system. An analysis of the prospects for Islamic education in contemporary Moroccan society is also provided. The research draws on official documents from the Moroccan Ministry of Education, national legislation, and royal speeches addressing this issue. It is demonstrated that throughout the second half of the 20th century and into the early decades of the 21st century, Moroccan authorities viewed the Islamic education system as a primary tool for influencing the political sphere, a key institution for shaping national culture, and a means to strengthen loyalty to the state. It is asserted that reforms in the Islamic education system in Morocco have enabled it to become more modern and relevant while simultaneously preserving the cultural traditions and uniqueness of the country.

Introduction: The young’s perception competence in the area of art music and age as its predictor are rarely studied. The related results may contribute to multifaceted measures, particularly necessary reforms in the universal music education system. Since school remains to be the only venue in which this music genre competence is shaped in the systemic and multi-staged manner. Research Aim: The study has aimed at assessing the level of the young’s music perception competence shaped in adolescence and young adulthood as far as art music is concerned. The crucial intention has also been to define the relationship with selected conditionalities, out won which age has been singled out to verify whether it is a variable that is statistically significant in terms of the correlation with the competence. Research Method: Quantitative strategy and test method have been applied to the study. Results: The age of the study participants has been indicated to be statistically significant for the ultimate results of the test and its respective parts – identification of style periods in music, a composer’s style, instruments and voices as well as the knowledge on the music literature. Young adults have scored higher. Conclusion: The study participants have shown substantial deficits to the extent of the auditory identification of essential aspects of art music. The competence level at issue has been assesses be low. Age has turned out to be statistically significant in terms of the correlation with the test results, accounting for a higher score in the case of the older age group. The study indicates that the universal music education requires transformation.

During this pivotal period in which China's vocational education is transitioning from a scale-oriented to a connotation-oriented development, efforts to reform vocational education are continuously intensifying, with the integration of industry and education consistently serving as the key logical thread in the reform of the modern vocational education system. Educational informatization stands as a crucial indicator of educational modernization, and the comprehensive promotion of educational modernization through educational informatization is a significant strategic decision for China's educational reform and development. However, integration of industry and education has not formed mutual integration and commonality between the entire school and enterprise levels in aspects such as talent cultivation, faculty construction, and scientific research cooperation, leading to a lack of a scientific evaluation system for assessing the effectiveness of this integration. In the context of the prominent contradiction between digital economy and structural employment, it is of great practical significance to explore the impact of digital economy on employment structure. Through the analysis of the current situation of employment in China, this paper further clarifies the prominent problems faced by employment at the present stage, and draws the conclusion that digital economy is conducive to improving the overall quality of employment and optimizing the employment structure. Therefore, colleges and universities should speed up the pace of educational system reform and further strengthen the market-oriented training mode. Study on University Dropouts In the Context of the Romanian Education System Reform

After 2010, the Romanian university system registered an increase of dropout cases. This aspect requires to identify and implement some alternative methods of action at the national level with the unique scope to prevent and combat early university dropout. The good motivation of the students for their studies is increasingly low. Some of the causes which determine this phenomenon are well known and quite difficult to remove, as for example the financial and intellectual development level of the family from where they come. These aspects can often be decisive factors in the emergence of the school dropout phenomenon. But these aspects are certainly not the only causes. This is the reason for which other aspects, which determine the students to dropping out the school and can be more easily corrected, must be identified. The aim of this paper is to present these aspects, emphasizing the causes, consequences, and potential solutions to limit absenteeism and university dropout. For this purpose, we present a questionnaire applied at "Ovidius" University on a target group of students. The participants consisted of 500 students from 5 faculties of our university. With this questionnaire we want to identify patterns and trends in the evolution of absenteeism and university dropout.

Abstract How can universities improve their ability to cultivate high-quality and innovative medical talent? The Ministry of Education in China is in the process of implementing the ‘Six Excellent and One Top-Notch’ Plan 2.0 with the aim of substantially revising the teaching of medicine. The United Kingdom (UK) and other countries around the world are also continuously aiming to innovate their medical teaching. With respect to medical education in China, the primary goal is to develop a new medical talent training system that meets future needs, with an emphasis on integration, innovation and interdisciplinary approaches. Here we mainly discuss medical student education systems in the UK with an emphasis on teaching philosophy, objectives, curriculum, and the various types of teaching delivery and assessment that are used in UK medical schools. Through in-depth review of the current situation of medical education in the UK, we hope to provide reference for the reform of the medical education system in China.

Reformation of the Almajiri Educational System in Nigeria Through the Maqashid Al-Shari’ah Paradigm

The Almajiri phenomenon is one of the pandemic matters affecting Muslims in the North, specifically Nigeria as a nation. It depicts a condition whereby children of school age, ostensibly enrolled to study under Mallams, roam about the streets in tattered clothes, begging, scavenging, and doing all sorts of odd jobs. While Islam places a high premium on education, emerging issues about The Almajiri system of education have heightened the need to re-examine the concept from the perspective of the essence, purpose, goal, and objective of Islamic law (Maqasid al-Shari’ah). To this extent, the practice of the Almajiri system of education as obtainable in Nigeria should be subjected to the balance of Maqasid as-Shari’ah to ascertain its acceptability and fecundity. This paper therefore attempts to assess and appraise the Almajiri educational system in Nigeria to reform its operation and recommend steps towards attaining the overall educational goals of Islam as enshrined in the Shari’ah. The researcher adopts both historical and narrative research methods in the work. This article finds a strong correlation between the Almajiri system of education and Maqasid as-Shari’ah. The research concludes that there is a dire need for Nigerian Muslims to adopt the Maqasid as-Shari’ah as the guiding principle for the reformation and operation of the Almajiri educational system, particularly in the northern part of the country.

Stress Reduction Program Design for High School Teachers in a Private School in Jiangsu Province

With the continuous development of the times, the reform of China's education system is deepening, and science and technology are gradually penetrating into education, which brings certain challenges to the teaching work of high school teachers. At the same time, since 1977, the college entrance examination has been given important significance by the society as a whole and is recognized as an important breakthrough point in life. Under the influence of the college entrance examination system, high school teachers have to bear more pressure compared to teachers in other basic education levels. Therefore, based on reviewing the literature, this study used the questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate the stressors of high school teachers by taking high school teachers of a private school in Jiangsu Province as the research object, and designed a stress reduction program for high school teachers of this private school in response to the findings of the study. Through the study, it was found that high school teachers in this school mainly have the pressure of teaching work, the pressure of work other than teaching, the pressure of interpersonal communication, the pressure of school management, and the pressure of the society, and finally, the stress reduction program for teachers was designed to alleviate the pressure of teachers' work, so as to promote the physical and mental health development of teachers and serve the cause of education in a better way.

Educational Game Teaching Methods on Communicative English Listening and Speaking Abilities for Early Childhood Students

Background and Aims: Early childhood education (ECE) in China has undergone significant transformations, shaped by historical, cultural, and socio-political factors. The foundations of early education in China can be traced back to Confucian traditions, emphasizing moral development and the importance of family and community in transmitting cultural values. This overview explores the historical roots, current practices, challenges, and notable reforms in China's general early childhood education system, providing a comprehensive understanding of its evolution. Thus, the purposes of this research were to:1) To compare the communicative English listening abilities of early childhood students after learning through the educational game teaching method with the criterion determined of 70 percent of the full score. 2) To compare the communicative English speaking abilities of the early childhood students after learning through the educational game teaching method with the criterion determined of 70 percent of the full score. The sample of this study is 30 early childhood students (1 classroom) of Jinshan Xinyuan Preschool Zoucheng City in the academic year of 2023 which was selected by cluster random sampling method. Materials and Methods: The population of this study is 180 early childhood students (6 classrooms), who were enrolled in English courses. The sample of this study is 30 early childhood students (1 classroom) of Jinshan Xinyuan Preschool Zoucheng City in the academic year of 2023 which was selected by cluster random sampling method. Data was collected through listening rubrics and speaking rubrics and SPSS software was used to analyze the collected data, the data used for analysis were the mean value of samples, standard deviation, and single sample t-test. Result: The results of the study were as follows: (1) As presented in Table 4.3, the mean scores of students’ English Communicative English Listening Abilities after learning through Learning Management Using the educational game teaching methods were 11.8 and the standard deviation was 1.69. which was statistically higher than the criterion of 70% at a .05 level of statistical significance (t29 =38.25, p＜0.05). The data above showed that Learning Management Using the educational game teaching methods was able to enhance the students’ Communicative English Listening Ability. (2) As presented in Table 4.3, the mean scores of students’ Communicative English-Speaking Abilities after learning through Learning Management Using the educational game teaching methods were 14.77 and the standard deviation was 2.65. which was statistically higher than the criterion of 70% at a .05 level of statistical significance (t29=30.54, p=0.000 < .05). The data above showed that Learning Management Using the educational game teaching methods was able to enhance the students’ Communicative English-Speaking Ability. Conclusion: According to the research results, we can draw the following conclusions: The average score and standard deviation of the preschool students who adopted the educational game teaching mode were higher than the standard of 70% at the level of statistical significance of 0.05. The educational game teaching method can enhance the preschool students’ Communicative English Listening and Speaking Abilities.

Relevance: The prioritization of developing speech competence in future teachers of vocational education is necessitated by the need to equip learners with competencies for lifelong learning, aligning with the qualification requirements of higher education graduates amidst the reforms in the national higher education system and its integration into the European space. Objective: To substantiate the importance of speech competence as a component of professional training for future teachers of vocational education in higher education institutions. Methods: Analysis, synthesis, and generalization of scientific works and legislative and regulatory documents were used for the theoretical analysis of key concepts of the study, defining the term "speech competence as a component of professional training for future vocational education teachers"; comparison was employed to identify approaches to solving the researched problem; generalization and systematization were used to formulate conclusions and prospects for further research. Results: Analysis of scientific works revealed that the speech competence of future vocational education teachers develops through the integration of the main tenets of linguistic sciences, psychology, and pedagogy. It is hierarchically subordinated to the principles of implementing a competence-based approach in the education system and integrates into the system of key (general) competencies as a distinct component. Speech competence, as defined in the Standard of Higher Education at the Bachelor's level, field of study 01 – "Education / Pedagogy", specialty 015 – "Professional Education (by specializations)" and in educational-professional programs, is determined by specific learning outcomes, mastery of which provides the ability to obtain an educational qualification. The level of speech competence within the system of general competencies for lifelong learning is a guarantee for the systemic further personal and professional development of a vocational education teacher according to the standards and socio-cultural trends. Conclusions: Innovative and European integration development of educational systems, current scientific research in pedagogy and psychology, technological changes, and the digitalization of society require a systemic update of educational content components to effectively develop the speech competence of future vocational education teachers and to ensure their ability to organize and conduct pedagogical activities effectively.

The Correlation Between Systemic Factors, Citizenship Behaviors, Misbehaviors, and Work Stress in Female Arab Teachers in Israel

The study investigates the correlation among systemic factors including educational system reforms and managerial leadership style, stress levels, and their effects on job performance, work-family balance, and workplace functionality of Arab mothers who are teachers in Israel. However, the study involved 546 Israeli-Arab mothers working as secondary education teachers, who completed questionnaires focusing on conflict expressions, systemic factors, and their effects on work performance indicators. The examination of the results - among others, suggests that the perception of work stress among participants was related to a high level of the two types of conflict as well as to the high prevalence of withdrawal behavior. The second result showed that actively managing was associated with a lower occurrence of withdrawal behavior at all three levels, while also being associated with a higher prevalence of citizenship behavior. On the other hand, workload related to work or family was not a predictor of a higher prevalence of withdrawal behaviors and a low prevalence of citizenship behavior. In an understudied field, the current research presents the multi-factorial complexity of the systemic factors in Arab schools in Israel and their impact on work functioning. The practical outcomes are both organizational and social and they concern both the managers and the family environment of the teachers. The study shows that the manager’s support is a crucial factor in mitigating the Work-family conflict. Thus, it is suggested to encourage school managers’ willingness to give teachers support and a more lenient work environment to help mitigate their work-related stress.

Application of wireless sensor network based on improved genetic algorithm in English blended learning

Adaptive genetic algorithm is one of the classic algorithms to solve multi-objective optimization problems. In order to make the convergence set to the Pareto boundary more uniform, this article improves how to compare multiple distances in the algorithm, introduces the concept of comparing the difference between single distances, and uses the adaptive and mutation of crossover operators and the minimum distance filtering mechanism. An improved NSGA-II adaptive algorithm is proposed. Among other things, in the machine learning system model, the environment refers to an external source of information, which provides research-related information. This study proved that learning requires systematic organization, similar to short-term memory in information processing models. Find the external environment, then use the methods of thinking analysis, integration, comparison and induction to obtain knowledge, and store the knowledge in a scientific way. With the rapid development of knowledge in modern society, on the basis of the development of English text analysis technology and network technology, the reform of China's education system has reached a new level. Reforming modern teaching methods is an important part of education reform. More and more educators are considering analyzing English texts as one of the important tools to reform teaching methods and improve teaching effects. Among other things, based on the B/S model development technology, the teaching system is researched using production theories and methods, and the teaching system is actually being tested, developed and applied. By comparing the effects of computer network teaching methods and traditional teaching methods, the feasibility and effectiveness of the network teaching system are determined.
