Islamic boarding school is one of the Islamic education in Indonesia. Reform and reconstruction of Islamic education and its institutions need to be carried out, especially observing the development of the global world which requires every Islamic educational institution to continue to improve itself if it does not want to be abandoned by its devotees. There are still or not a few public perceptions that say that students have an image that is not positive enough in the entrepreneurial world. Another problem faced is the fate of the santri after 'study' from the Islamic boarding school. Employment opportunities for them are very small, especially if they do not have a general education provision. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach. The data in this study are primary data obtained from the Tarbiyah Islamic Boarding School and secondary data in the form of books that support this research. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Tarbiyah Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School in Cinyawang Village, Patimuan District, applied entrepreneurship to its students. Without eliminating its main characteristics as a boarding school, namely expertise in the field of religion. With this entrepreneurship, it encourages an economic independence in the Tarbiyah Islamic Boarding School environment. The impact in the development of entrepreneurship is not only felt by the students. But it also has an impact on the economy of Islamic boarding schools, alumni of students and also the surrounding community.

Muhammad Abduh’s Concept about The Implementation of 20th Century Islamic Education

Muhammad Abduh was a leading Islamic reformer in the 20th century. Through his ideas, Muhammad Abduh was able to reconstruct exciting Islamic understanding, both in terms of culture and aqidah, including Islamic education. The reconstruction of Islamic Education cannot be done with the awakening of the ideas and programs of Islamic modernism because it becomes the basic framework behind Islamic modernism as a whole, both modernism in thought and Islamic institutions, which are a prerequisite for the awakening of the Muslims in modern times. Therefore, Islamic thought and institutions, including education, must be modernized or reconstructed following the modernity framework; maintain Islamic institutional thinking; with Muhammad Abduh, who initiated modern education. Abduh's thoughts had a profound influence on the lives of Muslims, both in the country where he was born in Egypt, as well as in other Arab worlds, even to the Muslim world outside the Arab world such as Indonesia. The birth of reform movements, such as Muhammadiyah, Al-Irsyad, and Persatuan Islam (PERSIS), cannot be separated from the influence of Muhammad Abduh's thoughts on modernism and have become many references for western thinkers.

Rekonstruksi Tujuan Pendidikan Islam: Studi Komparasi Pemikiran Majid Irsan al-Kilani dan Ahmad Dahlan

The process of education always goes through dynamic stages. It always adapts to the atmosphere of the students' conditions and current development. Therefore the reconstruction of Islamic education’s purpose is very important. Especially during the era of al-Kilani and Ahmad Dahlan, both of them met their respective concerns so that they thought to modify and to change Islamic education’s purpose. This article aims to find the standpoint of their version of Islamic education’s purpose. It was library research that referred to the sources of related literature and was processed using comparative descriptive analysis. The finding showed that there were similarities between them, such as first, the similarity in the setting of purpose formulation. Second, there were also similarities in the basic foundation for their educational purpose which are Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith. However, there were a few differences from their standpoint such as in aspects of educational background and intellectual heritage.

TAFSIR AYAT-AYAT PENDIDIKAN Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Q.S. Al-Alaq Ayat 1-5 (Studi Tafsir Al-Misbah Karya M.Quraish Shihab)

Education is one of the efforts to develop intellect and build a character that is Qur'anic. In line with some previous thought research, a reconstruction of Islamic education has been carried out. The research approach is a literature study approach to find the concepts and values of education in al-Misbah's interpretation and is supported by various references, articles, journals, books and so on. Thus, it can be concluded that the values of education that become an urgent subject in learning that is, reading, evaluating, having Islamic authority, providing examples and motivation in learning

Rekonstruksionisme Pendidikan Islam Menurut Muhammad Iqbal

Education should spearhead and reform or reconstruct communities so that they become better. Islamic education must be directed to the fulfillment of philosophical ideals (self strength) so that it has a faith-based self quality. The education of the modern world must be able to integrate all the elements of values that exist in life, have worldly and finality aspects so that in their development these two aspects are equally running and can create an accountable education. This is an explorative descriptive qualitative research that describes philosophical views and thoughts about the reconstruction of Islamic education according to Muhammad Iqbal. The Finding this research Muhammad Iqbal views that now is the time for Muslims to reconstruct their thinking in various fields, including the field of Islamic education which aims to form human beings (real people) with human criteria that have strength, broad insight, fair deeds and have wise policies so that being a human being in the Qur'an is mentioned as a perfect being.

Indonesia is currently entering the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Mid-century (digital revolution) was marked by a combination of technology and blurring of physical, digital space lines. Changes in the world in the era of the Industrial revolution which is so fast certainly provide demands for progress. Islamic boarding schools or Islamic boarding schools are one of the Islamic education in Indonesia. The reform and reconstruction of Islamic education and its institutions seems to need to be carried out immediately, especially looking at the development of the world which requires that every Islamic education institution be it Islamic boarding schools or madrasas to continue to improve themselves if they do not want to be abandoned by their interested ones. The inclusive attitude of Islamic education in this context is very necessary. inclusiveness becomes very important given that however, Islamic education institutions cannot isolate themselves from the dynamics that occur outside themselves. Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (hereinafter: Era 4.0) has an unimportant impact. It affects all aspects of human life. Included in this case is education. This era was marked by the increasingly central role of cyber technology in human life. The challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era are very complex. Not to mention in the world of education, all have already converted in the digital world. If in the past it was quite a manual, old-fashioned, primitive system, now everything must be completely cyber. Reconstruction of Islamic Education (Study of Islamic Education Thoughts of Prof. Dr. Muhaimin, M.A.)

The aims of this paper is to examine the thoughts of Prof. Dr. Muhaimin. MA about the reconstruction of Islamic education. The development of Islamic education in schools is a culture of quality and quantity and will be used as a platform, values, enthusiasm, attitudes, and behaviors for education as a lactor in the school environment. Muhaimin offers a reconstruction of Islamic education by offering a modernization paradigm in education because it was considered more ideal to be applied in the arena of the development of Islamic education. Meanwhile, the educational theory used was in accordance with the education theories of the Neo-modernists namely by continuing to actualize old theories that were still compatible with the demands times accompanied by new innovations in education. In that context, renewal of Islamic education according to Muhaimin must be done by conducting integrated and multicultural-based education. The idea of renewing Islamic education offered includes implementing Islamic Religious Education learning that is integrated with a multicultural-based approach to inquiry and Islamic education, namely developing education through the learning of contextual and research-based Islamic religion. Actualization of the thought above is based on the modernization paradigm and Neo-modernist theory both at university and at school.

The Reconstruction of Islamic Education in Indonesia Through Maqa?id Shari�ah of Jaseer Auda

Islamic education in Indonesia has a long history and started around the 13th century, but it faces many challenges. The first of challenge is the existence of logocentrism and the second of the challenge is the school of centrism (mazdhab-centrism). Logocentrism and school of centrism (mazdhab-centrism) in Islamic education has caused the rise of ghulat community and radicalism in Indonesia. For this reason, Islamic education as an implementation of maqa?id shari�ah should be reconstructed. Islamic education systems have to change its strategy and operational method. It has to be open and inclusive to foreign resources of school environment as stated by Auda in maqa?id shari�ah. By implementing the thought of Auda�s maqa?id shari�ah in the Islamic education in Indonesia, it is expected that the competent, broad-minded, humanistic, tolerant, and democratic Muslim communities can be realized. Besides that, the reconstruction of Islamic education can give information to the society that Islam is not as rigid as radicalism claims, but Islam provides a lot of alternatives in solving the present problems.
