The purpose of this research is to test in reality whether profitability, leverage, and company size affect company value in real estate and property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019-2023 period. This study uses secondary data, there are 10 companies that meet the research criteria many as 50 observation data. This study uses a quantitative method. The research variables used are profitability, leverage, and company size. This test uses multiple linear analysis and the eviews 13 software program. These results illustrate that profitability and leverage do not affect company value, while company size has a negative effect. according to the results of the regression test using (REM), the Determination Coefficient R² = 0.493716, indicating that 49.37% of company value is influenced by (ROAS), (DERA), and (UP), while the remaining 50.63% is explained by other factors.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance, accounting conservatism, and company size on earnings management (empirical study of property sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2018-2022). This research method is quantitative. The object of this research is the annual report and audit report of Real Estate and property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2018-2022. The sampling method of this research is purposive sampling, with techniques based on judgment sampling considerations. The data used in this study are secondary. The data collection method is the documentation method. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple regression analysis with the help of the IBM Statistical Package for Sciences (SPSS) program version 26. The result of this study is that Good Corporate Governance has no significant effect on earnings management. Accounting conservatism hurts earnings management. Company size does not affect earnings management.

This study aims to investigate the impact of Liquidity, Company Size, Leverage, and Collateral on Bond Ratings in the Financial Sector. The study centers on Real Estate and Property companies that are publicly traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2021, including a total of 28 enterprises. The sampling method used is nonprobability purposive sampling. The major data source for this study is the secondary data obtained from the financial reports of these firms, as published by the IDX. Data collection entails the systematic process of acquiring, recording, and reviewing secondary data using the documentation technique. Analytical approaches encompass descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, tests for normalcy, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, and Autocorrelation. Additionally, hypothesis testing is conducted by t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficient analysis. The research findings suggest that Liquidity, Company Size, Leverage, and Collateral exert a substantial impact on Bond Ratings within the Financial Sector.

Does Firm Size Buffer Tax Aggressiveness? Examining Financial Distress and Capital Intensity

This study investigates the relationships between financial distress, capital intensity, and tax aggressiveness, focusing on the moderating role of firm size. Utilizing a sample of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023, the research employs quantitative methods to analyze the influence of financial distress and capital intensity on tax aggressiveness. The findings reveal that financial distress significantly increases tax aggressiveness, indicating that firms facing economic challenges are more likely to pursue aggressive tax strategies to enhance their cash flow. Additionally, capital intensity is positively associated with tax aggressiveness, as firms leverage their capital assets for potential tax benefits. However, the study finds that firm size does not significantly moderate the relationships between financial distress or capital intensity and tax aggressiveness, suggesting that the effects of these variables are consistent across different firm sizes. These results underscore the complex dynamics of corporate tax behavior and highlight the need for firms to carefully consider their tax strategies in the context of financial conditions and capital structure. The research contributes to a deeper understanding of tax aggressiveness in emerging markets and provides implications for corporate managers and policymakers regarding tax planning and regulation

Analysis of the Influence of Capital Intensity, Inventory Turnover (ITO) and Return on Assets (RoA) on the Effective Tax Rate (Etr) with Institutional Ownership as a Moderating Variable

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of capital intensity, inventory turnover (ITO), and return on assets (ROA) on the effective tax rate (ETR) with institutional ownership as a moderating variable. This research uses secondary data in the form of financial reports that have been audited by auditors, where the data was obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) at idx.co.id. The sampling technique used in this research is the purposive sampling method. The population in this research is property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2021, totaling 9 companies. The sample used in this research was 41 companies with 123 observation data, taken based on certain criteria. This research is quantitative research with secondary data sources including the company's annual financial reports obtained through the website www.idx.co.id and the official website of each company. The method used to analyze the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26. The results of the research show that Return on Assets and Inventory Turnover (ITO) have a positive and significant effect on the Effective Tax Rate, while Capital Intensity has a negative effect. but it is not significant to the Effective Tax Rate for property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2023. Institutional ownership can moderate the influence of Capital Intensity, Return on Assets, and Inventory Turnover (ITO) on the Effective Tax Rate in property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Determinants of Audit Delay for Indonesian Property and Real Estate Companies

This research aims to empirically prove how factors such as audit tenure, audit opinion, solvency, and company size influence audit delay on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the sector of property and real estate companies for the period 2018 to 2022. The sample size for this quantitative research is 53 companies and the sampling process and criteria use the purposive sampling method. Data analysis used in this research uses panel data regression analysis. E-Views 12 to analyze data. The research results show that company size has a positive influence on audit delay, audit opinion has a negative influence on audit delay, audit tenure has no influence on audit delay and solvency has no influence on audit delay.

The technology is getting stronger and stronger in this sector, today there are several real estate companies that are using the new solutions, among them Bi, Big Data Artificial Intelligence, e-business, Sig and etc. These, among others, are changes and some facilities that technology offers, and that should be increasingly used by real estate companies to obtain strategic advantages over their competitors, however there are many new solutions that are already used by other nations that are still little explored in Brazil. and that can be adopted as a competitive strategic differential.

Analysis of Optimal Water Levels in the Great Lakes Based on A Comprehensive Satisfaction Function

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the optimal water levels in the Great Lakes to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and thus achieve sustainable development in the region. The Weight-Function-Synthesis-Optimization (WFSO) model was used in this study. By classifying the water level needs of different interest groups, their respective satisfaction functions are established, and the overall satisfaction function is formed by weighting. In addition, the quadratic polynomial function is used to fit the optimal monthly water level time series of Lake Ontario, and the fitting effect is good, fully reflecting the periodic and seasonal changes in the water level of Lake Ontario. By considering the priorities of various stakeholders, this paper defines an overall satisfaction metric, "allsa," and identifies a time series of monthly optimal water levels for Lake Ontario and beyond. The ideal water level was determined to be 74.9 meters. The study results suggest that maintaining this water level can maximize the satisfaction of ecosystems, transportation, real estate, terminals, and hydropower companies, and promote sustainable development of the region.

This research examines the various digital marketing strategies employed by real estate companies and evaluates their effectiveness. With potential clients increasingly conducting their own research online, digital marketing has become a vital component of overall marketing efforts. Enhancing brand image and facilitating efficient customer communication are imperative for real estate organizations, and this requires fortifying their online presence on search engines, corporate websites, and social media platforms. Digital marketing, particularly through social media platforms, has a significant influence on the real estate industry, just like it does on many other sectors. In today's real estate marketing, websites, Face book, Integra, and YouTube have become indispensable resources. There is little study that focuses especially on social media management within India's real estate business, despite the fact that economic growth and population increase are the driving forces behind Indonesia's real estate market. Major segments in the real estate market include land, residential, commercial, and industrial properties, as well as real estate investment trusts, undeveloped land, and vacation homes. In the fiercely competitive real estate landscape, agents must do more than merely acquire a license—they need to embrace the digital innovations reshaping property transactions. Integrating digital marketing fully into real estate services is imperative. To meet the increasing demand for sustainability, real estate firms must develop digital expertise and skills to deliver impactful and efficient digital marketing solutions.

Analysis of Firm Value Mediated by Investment Decisions of Coal Subsector Companies Listed on The Indonesian Stock Exchange

Firm value can be interpreted as a measure of the success of the company's performance in increasing shareholder prosperity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of company size, liquidity and leverage on firm value and the role of investment decisions as mediating variables in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 19 companies. The analysis technique used is path analysis. This study found that company size and liquidity have a significant positive effect on firm value, while leverage has no significant effect on firm value, investment decisions are able to mediate the effect of company size and liquidity on firm value, and investment decisions are not able to mediate the effect of leverage on coal company value.

Maximizing Profit Growth: How Net Profit Margin And Return On Assets Interact With Firm Size

This study aims to analyze the effect of net profit margin and return on assets on profit growth by adding firm size as a moderating variable in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study comprises property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. The sampling technique is determined using purposive sampling based on criteria set by the researchers, resulting in a sample of 52 property and real estate companies. Panel data regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) are used to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that the net profit margin variable does not affect profit growth, while return on assets has a significant effect on profit growth. Furthermore, firm size can moderate the effect of net profit margin on profit growth. However, firm size cannot moderate the effect of return on assets on profit growth. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that future researchers can add other factors that may influence profit growth. In selecting moderating variables, it is hoped that future researchers will choose appropriate moderating variables to strengthen profit growth.

Effect Of Earnings Management, Leverage, And CSR On Tax Avoidance With GCG As Moderating Variable

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of Earning management, leverage, and CSR on Tax avoidance with moderated by independent commissioners for GCG. Property and real estate companies are the population used in this study, where the processed companies are companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. Quantitative approach is used in research”using secondary data in the form of financial statements”for 2018-2022. The purposive sampling method is one of the methods used for research, from this method researchers get 15 real estate companies as research samples. This study uses partial least squares (PLS) and SmartPLS 3. The results of this study indicate that earnings management and leverage have no significant impact on tax avoidance. GCG is unable to moderate Earning Management, Leverage, and CSR on Tax Avoidance because the P-Values are less than 0.5%. While Corporate Social Responsibility has a significant effect on Tax Avoidance because the P-Values are greater than 0.5%. The results of this study can be good input to the government or companies in the best possible taxation practices, so that practices that utilize tax avoidance can be used.

Financial Analysis of Real Estate Companies Based on the Harvard Framework: A Case Study of Poly Developments and Holdings

China's real estate market saw considerable volatility between 2019 and 2023. Poly Developments and Holdings Group Co., Ltd. successfully weathered the market downturn of 2020, the rebound in 2021, and the subsequent downturn in 2022 to retain its position as one of China's top real estate companies, which has peaked by 2024. Using the Harvard Analytical Framework, this paper covers strategic, accounting, financial, and prospective aspects of Poly Developments over the past five years, conducting a comprehensive financial analysis. By regularly implementing outstanding financial management strategies, Poly Developments clearly shows that it effectively controlled important market volatility over the past five years. Poly Developments achieved exceptional performance by adopting financial methods that were well-suited to its specific circumstances, avoiding excessive aggression during market upswings and excessive caution during downturns. In addition, the study suggests that Poly Developments should boost its financial risk management, grow its market, improve cost control and operational efficiency, and strengthen asset usage and inventory management.

Using super-efficiency slack-based measure data envelopment analysis with enhanced neural network frontier to evaluate the operating efficiency of Chinese-listed real estate companies

China's real estate industry has faced significant changes and challenges in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and recent years, and has been unable to maintain its former prosperity. Facing a rapidly changing market environment and new loan restriction policies, real estate companies are encountering unprecedented challenges. Efficiency evaluation and analysis of real estate companies are essential to guide them in improving operational efficiency and adapting to new development models. This paper examines 87 real estate development companies listed on the Shenzhen and Shanghai markets, first evaluating and analyzing their operational efficiency in 2023 using the output-oriented super-efficiency slack-based measure data envelopment analysis (SBM-DEA) method. To address the issue of overestimated operational efficiency in the original model, this paper integrates it with the backpropagation neural network (BPNN) algorithm to obtain more robust re-evaluated efficiency scores. The results align with expectations, showing an overall decline in efficiency scores, and more significant decreases for companies with smaller output shortfalls in the original evaluation. The re-evaluated efficiency scores do not excessively underestimate efficiency and can serve as a reliable proxy for the original scores. The enhanced model combining BPNN with super-efficiency SBM DEA provides reliable and robust efficiency evaluations for these 87 listed real estate companies.

Profitability’s impact on firm value in Indonesia’s real estate firms: a panel data investigation

PurposeProfitability is crucial for a company’s sustainability. This study aims to examine the influence of profitability and specific variables on the value of real estate companies in Indonesia.Design/methodology/approachThe study uses a sample of 42 real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2023. A static panel regression approach was adopted, with the best model being the fixed effect model, verified through a robustness test.FindingsThe results indicate that the fixed effect model is the most effective in explaining firm value. Profitability, proxied by return on assets (ROAs), does not significantly impact firm value. This finding is confirmed by robustness tests using another profitability measure, return on equity (ROE). Additionally, company size negatively and significantly impacts firm value, while activity ratio and leverage have a positive and significant effect. Liquidity and company growth do not significantly affect firm value.Research limitations/implicationsThe research is limited to Indonesian real estate firms, cautioning against broad generalization to other countries or industries. The study could not demonstrate the influence of profitability on the value of real estate companies. Instead, firm value is influenced by company size, activity ratio and leverage.Practical implicationsReal estate firms should increase their activity, optimize funding and consider company size to enhance firm value.Originality/valueThis study contributes to the Indonesian real estate sector by revealing that profitability does not enhance firm value. Indonesian real estate companies generally have low profitability and firm value.

DETERMINAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PROPERTI & REAL ESTATE PADA INDEKS SAHAM SYARIAH INDONESIA

This research aims to identify and analyze factors that influence the financial performance of companies operating in the property and real estate sectors listed in the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index. Specifically, this research evaluates the influence of internal company factors, such as leverage, profitability, and operational efficiency. Apart from that, this research also analyzes the impact of compliance with sharia principles. This research uses quantitative research, the data source used in this research is secondary data in the form of annual and quarterly financial reports. The analysis technique used is panel data regression, with the Chow test and Hausman test showing that the best model results are the fixed effect model. The results of the research show that return on assets (ROA) with a probability value of 0.0308 partially has a significant effect on share prices, earnings per share (EPS) with a probability value of 0.0081 partially has a significant effect on share prices, but the debt to equity ratio (DER) with a value of probability 0.5249 partially has no significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, with a probability F value of 0.000000, return on assets (ROA), earnings per share (EPS), debt to equity ratio (DER) together have a significant effect on share prices in property and real estate companies.

Raymond Limited: Deleveraging and Demerger

The case explores the possible implications of the decision to demerge Raymond Limited by Gautam Singhania, the chairman and managing director (CMD) of Raymond Limited (Raymond). In April 2023, Raymond Limited announced its plan to demerge its lifestyle businesses into Raymond Consumer Care Limited, paving the way for Raymond Limited to become a real estate company. The restructuring was carried out to have two debt-free listed entities in the lifestyle and real estate businesses. This demerger was planned after the company witnessed a turbulent time with a drastic revenue fall and resultant losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The case provides students with an opportunity to analyse the financial statements of a listed company affected by a negative macroeconomic event and the financial strategies employed by the company under such circumstances. It also allows the students to analyse the implications of the demerger strategy.

THE INFLUENCE OF PROFITABILITY, LEVERAGE, AND COMPANY SIZE ON TAX AVOIDANCE

This research aims to determine the effect of profitability, leverage and company size on tax avoidance. This study uses a causal quantitative research with descriptive statistical analysis. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling was canducted on property and real estate companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2021-2022 with a sample of 54 companies. The analysis method was processed using SPSS with data analysis techniques wich include normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, coefficient of determination test (R²), and partial influence test (t test). The research results show that profitability and leverage influence tax avoidance. Meanwhile, company size has no effect on tax avoidance
