Pulsed neuron(PN) model can be easily implemented in hardware and is suitable for processing time series data. In this paper, we introduce the method to implement PN model to hardware with FPGA. And we construct aural information processing system based on the human auditory system using implemented PN model. Experimental results show that a proposed system could successfully identify the sound source and location of the used sound data, while running considerably faster than an equivalent software implementation and the size of circuit is smaller than other method.
