The registration system for prospective members of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) makes the registration process which is often held every period of time more effective and provides facilities to students who want to register themselves into the Student Activity Unit (UKM) organization that they are interested in in terms of completeness of information and coverage of information dissemination announcements when Open Recruitment is held in each UKM. With this website application also helps many organizations save their energy from material and also their time in designing an Open Recruitment that is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The purpose of this research is to design a registration system for prospective new members of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) around the campus of the State Islamic University Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, so that students who want to register themselves into an organization on campus, namely UKM, can get all the information they need starting from registration information, schedule announcements, requirements, and much more in the hope of connecting the many UKM with students on campus.

The impacts of Timor-Leste’s membership in the WTO:

The paper presents information about the significant impacts of Timor-Leste's membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO) on institutional reforms, trade policy challenges, and the prospects for ASEAN membership. The paper explores the comprehensive institutional reforms required by WTO membership, emphasizing the harmonization of over 300 economic legislations with WTO standards. The paper also acknowledges that Timor-Leste encounters challenges, including opportunities for strengthening the capacity of human resource and further development of a comprehensive trade policy framework. Additionally, trade negotiations with ten WTO member states on market access for goods and services, including the Information Technology Agreement (ITA), were carefully considered as part of Timor-Leste's WTO commitments, with the expectation of smooth implementation upon the country's membership of the WTO. The study also discusses the use of tariff protectionism as a strategy to safeguard sensitive domestic industries in Timor-Leste, while remaining in compliance with WTO rules in the future.

Patient-reported disability progression outcomes among patients with multiple sclerosis: Results of an outcomes-based agreement.

Outcomes-based agreements (OBAs) are agreements between payers and manufacturers in which payment for medications is tied to patient outcomes. These contracts aim to measure the value of prescription medications on predefined clinical indicators in real-world patient populations. OBAs are gaining traction in the United States as the health care industry shifts from volume-based to value-based care. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an appealing therapeutic area for OBAs because of its prevalence, high cost of medications, and multiple effective therapeutic options. To describe findings from an OBA that was prospectively conducted in a large regional health system for patients with MS taking interferon β-1a or dimethyl fumarate. In this prospective real-world analysis, commercial or health insurance exchange members were included based on the parameters of the OBA. Disability progression was assessed using a patient-reported outcome, patient-determined disease steps (PDDS). In the OBA, members aged 18 years or older with an MS diagnosis were included in the contract. A baseline score was collected for eligible members, with follow-up scores occurring between a 90-day and 180-day postbaseline score. If a follow-up score was greater than the baseline score, a subsequent PDDS score was collected between 90-days and 120-days to determine if the PDDS score remained elevated, indicating that the member had disability progression. During the contract period, 410 patients were eligible for PDDS collection, with 241 and 169 patients in the dimethyl fumarate and interferon β-1a cohorts, respectively. There were 162 patients who were lost to follow-up, and 64 patients who were ineligible per contract parameters. Of the remaining 184 eligible patients (107 on dimethyl fumarate and 77 on interferon β-1a), 21 (11%) patients had confirmed disability progression (6 on dimethyl fumarate [5.6%] and 15 on interferon β-1a [19.5%]). Our findings suggest that meaningful patient-reported outcomes, such as disability progression, can be operationalized in an innovative OBA.

This research aims to conduct a study in the 2024 Legislative Member Candidate Recruitment Analysis (Case Study of the Bogor Regency Golkar Party DPD). This research is an effort to find out how to analyze the recruitment of prospective legislative members in the 2024 elections (Case Study of the Golkar Party, Bogor Regency). Therefore, the method considered appropriate to use in this study is qualitative, descriptive analysis. The data collection technique through interviews is by asking a list of questions directly to the informant with the aim of obtaining data and information related to the Recruitment Analysis of Candidates for Legislative Members in the 2024 Election (Case Study of the Bogor Regency Golkar Party). The data collection instrument used to collect data is an interview guide containing a list of questions using a direct question and answer method with informants who are authorities on the object under study. Observation (observation) is a data collection technique, where the researcher makes direct observations of the research object to look closely at the activities carried out. This research found that from the three characteristics of the recruitment process above, the recruitment process carried out by the Bogor Regency Golkar party DPD was mixed in nature, combining top-dwon and bottom-up. We can see from the selection procedures listed in the DPP Decree Number: JUKLAK - 11/DPP/GOLKAR/V/2018 that the selection procedures begin with the selection team submitting a form of willingness to be nominated as a Candidate Member of the Regency DPRD to all members of the functionary cadre who have attended functionary orientation either organized by the Golkar Party DPP or the Regency Golkar Party DPD.

From neighbour to member: Assessing Moldova’s EU membership perspectives

This article examines Moldova’s prospective membership in the European Union (EU) in the wake of the EU’s renewed enlargement drive which was prompted by Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. It explores the dynamics shaping Moldova’s accession path, spotlighting obstacles to integration that official reports appear to overlook or underplay. The article compares EU and Moldovan documents, civil society reports, and insights from interviews with Moldovan officials and civil society representatives to gain a nuanced picture of the evolving situation. Attention is also given to the distinct characteristics of the currently unfolding enlargement process, including its sense of urgency and geopolitical significance which have led to calls for an expedited or ‘fast-track’ accession. Findings note that despite Moldova’s impressive progress in aligning with EU standards in many areas, substantial hurdles in justice reform, combating corruption and de-oligarchisation persist. Incomplete public administration reforms, uneven civil society involvement in decision-making, and issues associated with the Transnistria conflict also have consequences for Moldova’s EU prospects, especially if an expedited version of enlargement occurs.

FUTURE OF THE EUROPEAN AND EURO-ATLANTIC INTEGRATION OF UKRAINE

The study’s purpose was to examine the objectives of European and Euro-Atlantic integration defined in Ukraine’s strategic documents and Annual National Programs under the auspices of the NATO-Ukraine Commission and to demonstrate the impact of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine on European and Euro-Atlantic integration policy. The article uses the method of document analysis to identify phrases and terms that characterise tasks of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine in the strategic documents since the beginning of 2020.This article delves into the strategic documents of Ukraine, which serve as the guiding principles for its European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The EU and NATO documents defining their relations with third countries and Ukraine are studied in particular. The impact of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine launched in February 2022 on European and Euro-Atlantic integration policies is analysed. Due to the methods of synthesis, the processed material is summarised and the final conclusions of the article regarding the future of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine are drawn. It was concluded that the success of European integration will depend on the determination of the Ukrainian government to carry out the necessary reforms. Regarding Euro-Atlantic integration, the prospects for NATO membership will be considered solely upon the conclusion of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine. The paper aspires to be a part of the effort to fill the existing void in the scientific output on the realism of the tasks set by the Ukrainian authorities in the field of European and Euro-Atlantic integration before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, as well as the assessment of Ukrainian prospects for membership in the EU and NATO after 2022.

The AISP Network of cross-sector data linkage efforts: Results & lessons from a national survey of 40 state and local systems in the US

Objectives and ApproachThis session will share findings from a national survey of 40 state and local cross-sector data linkage efforts using data to impact policy and outcomes across the United States (US). The survey, conducted in February 2023 by Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy (AISP) at the University of Pennsylvania, captured each effort’s purpose(s) for sharing data (the “why”), approach to linkage (the “how”), and the data sources being integrated (the “what”). Respondents are all current or prospective members of the AISP network, representing a cross-section of systems at different stages of development and engaged in peer exchange. ResultsThe presentation will share results that describe the core purposes of system development and how systems operate; this includes governance structures to institutionalize sharing relationships; staffing, funding sources, and operating budgets; legal frameworks; and technical infrastructure. The presentation will also explore what data systems share, and the role a peer-led community of practice plays in developing and honing approaches to public sector data use. ConclusionsNetwork members have demonstrated widespread impact in their communities. In the last two years, respondents collectively reported that their integrated data enabled 365 reports and briefings for policymakers to affect policy change and 160 research articles to advance knowledge for impact. They also widely reported improved relationships and trust across agencies and improved ability to evaluate what works. ImplicationsThis presentation showcases the impact of the US community of practice in supporting diverse models for impact-oriented data systems.

<b>ANALISIS YURIDIS TERHADAP PELAKU PENJATUHAN TINDAK PIDANA PENCEMARAN NAMA BAIK CALON ANGGOTAN DPRD (PUTUSAN NOMOR 81/PID.SUS/2021/PN SGT)</b>

The rapid advancement of technology facilitates social interactions from the physical world to the digital realm, making it accessible to everyone, including criminal offenses like defamation on social media. The research questions are: 1) Do the elements of defamation against a prospective council member in Verdict No. 81/Pid.Sus/2021/PN Sgt comply with Article 45 in conjunction with Article 27 Paragraph 3 of the ITE Law and Article 315 of the Penal Code for minor offenses? 2) Is the two-month sentence imposed by the judge in line with the sentencing objectives under the Penal Code in Verdict No. 81/Pid.Sus/2021/PN Sgt? This research employs a normative method with secondary data, using descriptive-analytical techniques analyzed qualitatively with deductive reasoning. The findings indicate that the crime's elements do not align with the minor offense provisions of Article 315 of the Penal Code. The two-month probationary sentence does not meet the sentencing guidelines' objectives. The conclusion is that the verdict does not adequately apply Article 45 in conjunction with Article 27 Paragraph 3 of the ITE Law and Article 315 of the Penal Code, nor does it align with sentencing objectives. Judges should consider legal certainty, justice, utility, and societal values.

Cooperatives adhere to the concept of mutual cooperation. It can be said that cooperatives have an important role in improving the welfare of their members, especially society as a whole. There are those who argue that cooperatives play an important role in improving the welfare of their members, especially the wider community. Another type of company that has family values is a cooperative, this is what differentiates cooperatives from other business entities. SIHARI products have experienced fluctuations in the number of members over a period of time. With the increase and decrease in the number of members, of course there is a marketing strategy implemented by KSPPS BMT Berkah Ciamis to attract members. The following is a table showing the number of members. The aim of conducting this research is that researchers are interested in knowing the marketing strategy for savings funds in SIHARI products in an effort to increase the number of cooperative members at KSPPS BMT Berkah Ciamis. This research uses qualitative methods obtained from observations, guidelines, interviews, questionnaires, and other commonly used instruments that can also be used, but only as research support for researchers who act as the main instrument. The results stated that in the research BMT made visits to prospective members' homes. Apart from that, there are no aspects of fraud and coercion in the promotions carried out. Every year, the number of SIHARI product members increases due to the implementation of this marketing strategy. However, because we have not found a way to mitigate these risks, the number of members has declined over the years

Self-Determination and the Limits on the Right to Include

States’ right to exclude prospective members is the subject of a fierce debate in political theory, but the right to include has received relatively little scholarly attention. To address this lacuna, we examine the puzzle of permissible inclusion: when may states confer citizenship on individuals they have no prior obligation to include? We first clarify why permissible inclusion is a puzzle, then proceed to a normative evaluation of this practice and its limits. We investigate self-determination – a dominant principle in theories of the right to exclude – as a normative ground for limits on the right to include. We argue that states’ duties to respect one another’s self-determination yield limits on permissible inclusion. When inclusive policies for citizenship undermine the permissible scope of self-determination of other states, they are impermissible; they should either be prohibited, or require compensation.

Intersubject correlations in reward and mentalizing brain circuits separately predict persuasiveness of two types of ISIS video propaganda

The Islamist group ISIS has been particularly successful at recruiting Westerners as terrorists. A hypothesized explanation is their simultaneous use of two types of propaganda: Heroic narratives, emphasizing individual glory, alongside Social narratives, which emphasize oppression against Islamic communities. In the current study, functional MRI was used to measure brain responses to short ISIS propaganda videos distributed online. Participants were shown 4 Heroic and 4 Social videos categorized as such by another independent group of subjects. Persuasiveness was measured using post-scan predictions of recruitment effectiveness. Inter-subject correlation (ISC) was used to measure commonality of brain activity time courses across individuals. ISCs in ventral striatum predicted rated persuasiveness for Heroic videos, while ISCs in mentalizing and default networks, especially in dmPFC, predicted rated persuasiveness for Social videos. This work builds on past findings that engagement of the reward circuit and of mentalizing brain regions predicts preferences and persuasion. The observed dissociation as a function of stimulus type is novel, as is the finding that intersubject synchrony in ventral striatum predicts rated persuasiveness. These exploratory results identify possible neural mechanisms by which political extremists successfully recruit prospective members and specifically support the hypothesized distinction between Heroic and Social narratives for ISIS propaganda.

A cooperative is a financial institution located in each village. Cooperatives can provide solutions to the community when the community's economic needs are decreasing. One of the services provided by cooperatives to the community is credit loans. This research focuses on analyzing the suitability of prospective cooperative member creditors who are eligible for credit applications. This analysis requires attributes or variables that are suitable for use in the credit application process. The attributes used in this research are that prospective creditors must be of sufficient age, disciplined in the payment process according to the monthly due date, have income and have allowances. This research uses data mining techniques using the Naïve Bayes algorithm, and data processing uses the Rapidminer application. The results obtained were based on the results of processing 182 data, namely obtaining an accuracy value of 81.32%, precision of 89.36% and recall of 77.78%. In this case, credit worthiness analysis with four attributes using the Naïve Bayes algorithm is suitable for use with accurate and precise results.

Coherence of the business cycles of prospective members of the euro area and the euro area business cycle

Is it beneficial for Central and Eastern European EU Member States to join the euro area? To answer that question, the coherence of the business cycles of six EU Member States and the euro area is analyzed. These countries recently joined (Croatia) or are supposed to join the euro area in the (near) future. The analysis utilizes the synchronicity and similarity measures proposed by Mink et al. (2012). Whereas the synchronicity measure captures whether output gaps have the same sign, the similarity measure identifies differences in cycle amplitudes. It is observed that the business cycles of several countries, notably Romania and Hungary, are out of sync with that of the euro area. The output gap similarity and synchronicity measures for Croatia are also fairly low. However, this also holds for some countries in the euro area.

Designing around NATO’s deterrence: Russia’s Nordic information confrontation strategy

ABSTRACT This article examines Russia’s evolving information confrontation strategy in the Nordic region between 2022–2023. It assesses Russia’s approaches toward NATO members Norway, new member Finland, and prospective member Sweden. Despite decreased regional influence, the article finds that Russia persists with sub-threshold information confrontation tactics to bypass NATO deterrence. The strategy aims to shape NATO’s presence, undermine Western cohesion, and reduce support for Ukraine. These sub-threshold activities underscore the coercive utility of Russia’s information confrontation strategy in Russian strategic thinking. As tensions escalate due to the Ukraine conflict, Moscow will continue seeking to influence domestic debates in Nordic and European countries.

Introduction and Utilization of Plants in the Wild for Prospective Members of Mapala Batch XXVII Mapala Paksi Arga Padang Institute of Technology

Nature lover student (mapala) students who often carry out natural exploration activities. Mapala must have the ability to survive and recognize plants that are useful for food and medicine. The limited information that Mapala has about plants in the wild indicates that they need relevant and accountable sources to be able to survive in difficult times. One way to provide sources of information to students is through counseling. The methods used in carrying out this activity are lectures or counseling, discussions, demonstrations, and evaluations. Data collection techniques during counseling using questionnaires and interviews. The counseling activity was carried out at the Paksi Arga Nature Lovers Student Group, Padang Institute of Technology. The participants in this activity were attended by 15 nature-loving students at the Paksi Arga Institute of Technology and the organizers consisted of 4 lecturers and 2 students. The output results of the independent t-test show that the Sig value is <0.05, so there is a significant difference between mapala knowledge before and after counseling. Difference in percentage There is an increase in knowledge that plants that can be used for survival are as big as20,6%, edible plants for survival 27%, and plants that can be used as medicine 22,64%.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of operational risk management in efforts to minimize human resource errors at BMT Istiqomah Plosokandang Tulungagung. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, and the data collection method was carried out through direct interviews with Mr. Imam Mustakim, located at the BMT Istiqomah Unit 2 Plosokandang office.The research results show that the treatment taken to avoid bankruptcy is to use a modern digital system and be careful with prospective members and the form of responsibility borne by the person concerned when a problem occurs; establishing good relations with members and the surrounding community and participating in community activities by donating funds so that BMT Istiqomah is not underestimated; and BMT Istiqomah Unit 2 applies honesty, fairness, transparency and good trust so that leadership management can run smoothly.

Advocating for Disability Voting Rights in Framework Ius Constituendum

Protecting and guaranteeing the rights of every citizen is the obligation of the state, but in fact there are still acts of discrimination in the rights of citizens experienced by persons with disabilities. One form of discrimination carried out is related to political rights by setting physical health requirements for prospective members of the DPR, provincial DPRD, and district/city DPRD. Although there is no definite limit to measure the level of physical health. In addition, the electoral law contradicts the law on persons with disabilities which states that persons with disabilities have political rights. The electoral law should provide an open space as a means for people with disabilities to become part of public office. However, this will not be realized without a special quota for persons with disabilities to run as candidates for legislative members, as is the case with the quota of 30% female representation as prospective candidates for the DPR / DPRD and the determination of persons with disabilities as workers in government agencies at least 2% and 1% for private companies. Therefore, regulations should be added related to special quotas for persons with disabilities to become candidates for representation from political parties as election participants

This study aims to determine the effect of service, profit sharing ratio, and knowledge of Sharia Cooperatives on the decision to save members of KSPPS BMT Surya Abadi Riyanto Seputih Raman Branch. There is still a lack of people who decide to save or become members of KSPPS BMT Surya Abadi Riyanto, Seputih Raman branch, which is caused by several factors such as, from the perspective of members who save, there are still many complaints from members regarding poor service, inadequate facilities, and the views of members who are still minimal about Islamic cooperatives. In this study using analytical tools, namely SPSS (Static Package For Social Science). This study uses a type of Quantitative research, with a population of ± 3000 members, and a sample determined using the Slovin formula of 100 respondents. By doing several tests, namely, Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, Multiple Regression Analysis, t test, F test and Determinant Test (R2). Based on the results of the simultaneous test, it is obtained that the significant value is 0.000 <0.05 and the F-count value is 1231.804> 2.699, which means that there is a simultaneous influence between the Service variable (X1), Profit Sharing Rate (X2), and Sharia Cooperative Knowledge (X3) on the Saving Decision variable (Y). While the figure for R square is 0.975 or 97.5%. This shows that Service, Profit Sharing Rate, and Sharia Cooperative Knowledge have an effect of 97.5% on the Saving Decision of KSPPS BMT Surya Abadi Riyanto Branch Seputih Raman Members. The results showed that simultaneously Service, Profit Sharing Rate and Sharia Cooperative Knowledge had a significant effect on Member Saving Decisions, KSPPS BMT Surya Abadi Riyanto, Seputih Raman Branch should improve Services both in terms of facilities and infrastructure owned such as adding a queuing system, replacing employee support tools that have been worn out, provide a Profit Sharing Rate that is more profitable for members who save, and further educate or provide information so that members and prospective members (the public) have good Sharia Cooperative Knowledge such as products and services offered by KSPPS BMT Surya Abadi Riyanto, Seputih Raman Branch, so as to increase the Decision to Save Members and Prospective Members.
