The main aim of this study is to investigate the intention of undergraduate students in Morocco to engage in social entrepreneurship. To achieve this, the research will adopt the theory of planned behaviour as the theoretical framework. The study extends the model by including entrepreneurial and pro-social personality traits as additional constructs. For that purpose, a survey was conducted on a sample of 300 young adults using a questionnaire. We find positive relationships between attitudes, perceived control, subjective norms, moral obligation, and social entrepreneurial intentions. Conversely, empathy did not have any influence on social entrepreneurial intentions, attitudes, or subjective norms. Overall, we contribute to the upcoming domain of social entrepreneurship research by investigating the relationship between entrepreneurial and pro-social personality traits and social entrepreneurial intention.
