RCTV's "Wewara" Program in Preserving Cirebon Local Wisdom

The rapid development of technology has made it easier for humans to communicate. Communication is a process of conveying and receiving symbols that contain a meaning, whether in the form of information, thoughts, knowledge or other forms. The researcher conducted a study related to a RCTV "Wewara" Program in preserving Cirebon Local Wisdom. The purpose of this research is so that all people and readers know the importance of maintaining local wisdom and cultural communication from an area that we live in, besides that the researcher wants to know more about the process, principles, and editorial policies of the Cirebon language contained in the "wewara" news broadcast program. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method, by conducting an interview and conducting a direct observation in the field. The results of this study show that the agenda setting agenda in RCTV's "Wewara" Program in Preserving Cirebon Local Wisdom gives birth to three stages, namely the process of problem identification (problem stream), policy determination (policy stream) and finally the political process (political stream).

Analisis Proses Produksi Program Siaran Berita Padang Pagi Ini Di Pro 1

This thesis is entitled "Analysis of the Production Process of Padang Pagi Ini News Broadcast Program at Pro 1 Radio Republik Indonesia Padang". The purpose of this research is to find out the production process of the news broadcast program "Padang Pagi Ini" at Pro 1 RRI Padang and to find out the factors that influence the production process of the news broadcast "Padang Pagi Ini" at Pro 1 RRI Padang. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. As a qualitative descriptive researcher, the researcher will only describe the situation or event, not looking for relationships, not testing hypotheses or making predictions. the results showed that the stages of the production process of "Padang Pagi Ini" are the same as the production process of radio programs in general, including: pre-production stages, production stages, post-production stages and factors affecting news production at RRI Padang are human resources, technology, content management, broadcasting regulations, and audience feedback. The production team consists of journalists, reporters, producers, editors, and technicians who have competencies and experience that affect the quality of the news presented. Technology such as digital cameras, video editing software and digital transmission systems facilitate the news production process.

The Role of Corporate Communication in Image Penetration through Podcast Media

In the era of society 5.0, Indonesia and the world are experiencing developments in all fields, especially technology, information, and global competition. It takes hard work from the corporate communication division so that the company has a clear identity that can make it different from similar companies in order to form a good image that stands out. The purpose of this research is to represent BRI's Corporate Communication strategy in shaping its image through podcast media. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques conducted through structured interviews, with guidelines for conducting research virtually through Google Meet, Zoom or Video call and WhatsApp text connection. In selecting informants using purposive sampling technique in determining research subjects. The research instrument used is a list of questions and data analysis techniques using open coding to selective coding which will draw conclusions from these results. In planning a Corporate Communication activity, the author also uses the RACE model from John Marston. The results showed that the penetration of BRI's new image through the BRI Office Break podcast program broadcast on Youtube was considered quite successful. The conclusion of this research: up to the 10th episode of the BRI Office Break Podcast has successfully portrayed BRI's new image, customers and non-customers view BRI as a sophisticated and modern bank, no longer old-fashioned or conventional.

Manajemen MQTV dalam Syiar Dakwah Melalui Platform Youtube

Abstract. Today’s youth are ignorant of the social issues around them. Promiscuity, juvenile delinquency,ldruglabuse, and sex are all things that have affected modern teenagers. In the midst of a moral crisis,lthe Islamic Boarding School is a place for moral development. The purpose of the study was to find out the programs in the Boarding School to improve the morals of itslstudents, to find out the role of the board in improving the morals oflits students, and to find out the supportingland inhibiting factors used by the board in improving the morals oflthe students. This research uses descriptivenqualitative methods. Islamic Boarding School programs in improving the morals of its students, namely the program of studying book of akhakullbanin and studying shariyahan activities. The managementlhelps programs and activities that aim to improve akhlakul karimah. Thus, the role of the management is included in the active role category, where hey help their students improve their morals through various activities and supervision. Supporting factors from the santri guardian, and providing comfortable facilities. The inhibiting factors are the students' own culture. Abstrak. This study focuses on MQTV Management in Spreading Da'wah through the YouTube Platform. This study aims to determine the programs broadcast on MQTV and how MQTV management manages spreading da'wah through YouTube. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. This study found that the programs on MQTV consist of various programs such as Kajian Aa Gym, Living With Qur'an, Smart Moms, Cerita Muslimah, Ustadz Jaga, Dibalik Layar, and Dakwah Zilenial. MQTV management has implemented George R. Terry's management functions which include planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Currently, the MQTV Official YouTube channel has more than 54.1 thousand subscribers and has reached the monetization stage. The results of this study are that MQTV management in spreading da'wah through the YouTube platform has been running well and effectively, implementing management functions ranging from planning to supervision. Periodic evaluation and statistical analysis are carried out to improve content quality.

Writing Scripts for “Bincang Sore” Program Broadcasts on Radio Solopos 103 FM

This research examines the process of preparing the Bincang Sore program script on Radio Solopos 104 FM, one of the most popular radio stations in Solo. This research uses broadcast strategy theory with qualitative research methods and participatory observation as primary data collection techniques. This research shows that broadcast scripts are a broadcast strategy that goes through three stages. First, pre-production, which includes efforts to understand the purpose of writing the script and the characteristics of the audience, researching to find ideas for script material followed by collecting related information, determining the structure of the script according to the duration of the program, as well as selecting style and language based on audience characteristics. Second, the production stage includes preparing an interesting opening speech, arranging the material by referring to everyday language, short, simple, and not long-winded, and choosing words that are easy to hear and understand by listeners and easy for the announcer to pronounce. During production, editing and revisions are also done if parts need to be corrected. Third, the post-production stage evaluates the Bincang Sore program broadcast script, rarely done at Solopos Radio.

RRI Purwokerto Rural Broadcasts in 1970-1990s

Abstract This research explores Rural Broadcasting of RRI Purwokerto in the 1970-1990s. Rural Broadcasting is a program to support the achievement of the national economic development program, particularly in the food security sector. The objective of this research is to reveal (1) the role of RRI Purwokerto as a broadcasting institution in implementing rural broadcasting programs, (2) observe the interest of the community in the Banyumas region and its surroundings towards rural broadcasting programs, and (3) explore the driving factors for success in implementing Rural Broadcasting of RRI Purwokerto, making it a pivotal program. The results of this research are as follows: (1) The implementation of Rural Broadcasting by RRI Purwokerto began on October 1, 1968, despite various limitations. Together with RRI Yogyakarta, RRI Purwokerto succeeded in pioneering the implementation of rural broadcasting in Indonesia. (2) The community's high interest is evident in its response with the formation of "kelompen" or "kelompencapir" as activity forums in various villages in the Banyumas Regency and its surroundings. (3) Creativity in broadcast products, the high work ethic of the managers, as well as collaboration with relevant institutions, are key factors for success, making rural broadcasting a pivotal program for RRI Purwokerto.Keywords: Rural Broadcasting, RRI Purwokerto, creativity, kelompen/ kelompencapir

Political Propaganda in the “Progsus” Program on MNC News, Channel 84

Propaganda in the media is often carried out to gain power or strengthen legitimacy. In 2024–2028, the Indonesian government will again hold general elections (PILEG), which are held every five years. The object of this research is a special program broadcast on Channel 84 Television MNC NEWS. The theory used in this research is propaganda theory applied to reporting on television. The research method is Framing Analysis Gamson and Modigliani, with a constructivist qualitative approach. The data collection technique carries out content analysis of Entman’s framing. There are 33 News stories regarding Political Reporting about the 2024 election. The research results show that the owner of the Perindo Party, Harry Tanoesudibjo, who is also the owner of MNC News Morning, uses all the content formed in the framing of MNC News Morning according to the political policies and interests of the media owner.

Implementasi Kebijakan Perencanaan Program Siaran Pro 2 RRI Sungailiat untuk Meningkatkan Minat dengar Generasi Muda di Kecamatan Sungailiat

This research aims to determine the implementation of RRI Sungailiat's Pro 2 broadcast program planning policy, which is directed at increasing the listening interest of the younger generation. First, a deep understanding of the younger generation's interests, preferences, and habits is necessary. Research on trends and interests of the younger generation helps in creating content that is relevant and interesting to them. Furthermore, innovation in event content and format is the key to attracting the younger generation's attention. Using podcasts, interactive segments, and audio-visual combinations provides listeners with a more engaging experience. Apart from that, utilizing digital platforms is an essential strategy. Radio must expand its presence on digital platforms used by the younger generation, such as social media, websites, and mobile applications. Radio can create a closer relationship with the younger generation by involving listeners through interaction and participation in programming. Collaboration with influencers, content creators, and online communities is also a practical step in attracting the younger generation's interest. Involving them in event programming or creating content can broaden the reach and increase the event's appeal. Continuous evaluation and improvement are essential to implementing broadcast program planning policies. Conclusion: By implementing broadcast program planning policies that include understanding the younger generation, content and format innovation, utilization of digital platforms, listener involvement, collaboration with influencers, and continuous evaluation, radio can attract the interest of younger listeners. Talkpod Program Broadcasting Diversification Program on Net Tv Through Digital Platform

This research is to reveal that broadcasting diversification is an important strategy for television stations in facing the development of broadcasting technology platforms and changes in social media consumption patterns of android-based communities. The "Talkpod" program is one of NET TV's innovations that combines the concepts of talk shows and podcasts, which are then distributed through digital platforms. The research method used is a qualitative method and data collection techniques by conducting interviews, observations, and document studies. This research approach focuses on television program broadcasting strategies in expanding audience reach.The results show that the diversification of broadcasting the "Talkpod" program through digital platforms provides several strategic advantages for Net Tv. First, expanding audience reach, especially among millennials and Gen Z who are more active on digital platforms. Second, increasing interaction and engagement with the audience through interactive features offered by digital platforms. Third, opening up new opportunities for monetization through digital advertising and collaboration with various brands.

Implementation of Broadcast Code of Conduct and Broadcast Program Standards at Celebes TV Makassar

This paper discusses the Implementation of Broadcasting Code of Conduct and Broadcast Program Standards at Celebes TV Makassar. this research, the author uses Qualitative research (field research). Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that The implementation of Broadcasting Code of Conduct and Broadcast Program Standard on Celebes TV Makassar broadcast program is by following the regulation set by Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) about Broadcasting Code of Conduct and Broadcast Program Standard (P3SPS) 2012. In disseminating information, it must be in accordance with the existing facts and before the information is disseminated to the audience or public, it is necessary to research the truth of the information so that there is no misunderstanding between the information giver and the information receiver.

THE EFFECT OF SERVICE QUALITY ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: A CASE STUDY OF THE PERFORMANCE OF RADIO REPUBLIK INDONESIA (RRI) IN CIREBON

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the service quality of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) in Cirebon on the level of customer satisfaction. The study was conducted through an observational interview. The interviews were conducted to get first-hand views and experiences from RRI customers regarding the quality of service they received and their satisfaction level. It was found that aspects such as broadcast program quality, sound quality, staff friendliness, and ease of access to information were the main factors that contributed to customer satisfaction, which shows that the high quality of services provided by the radio station will increase customers' satisfaction. This study can be used as a theoretical foundation for further research in this area and a reference for other broadcasting organizations interested in improving their customer experience. It can also enrich the literature on service quality management and customer satisfaction in the media and communication sectors.

Upaya Rri Padang Dalam Meningkatkan Pendengar Muda Melalui Pemanfaatan Media Sosial

Radio is a mass media that is closely related to the needs of society that can provide various kinds of information, entertainment, and education. The presence of the internet has shifted people's behavior patterns that are more following the development of internet technology, including RRI Padang. RRI Padang strives to improve the quality of broadcast programs in order to attract young listeners, especially on social media. The background of this study aims to find out how RRI Padang's efforts are made in increasing young listeners through the use of social media. This research using qualitative-inductive research is a research method that starts with collecting concrete data and then developing patterns, themes, or general theories from the data. This method of radio with a focus on attracting the younger generation can involve several approaches oriented towards a deep understanding of the preferences, needs, and expectations of young listeners. This research is with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, documentation, and document studies. The result of this study is the success of RRI Padang's efforts in increasing young listeners through the use of social media

Handling racism in a radio phone-in programme: Telling it like it is

It is widely acknowledged that broadcast programmes are produced to serve the public’s interest. Presenting the programmes in a neutral and objective fashion, and engaging the audience in forming opinions, are common ways of achieving this. However, studies have suggested that there is a departure from these practices when the object of broadcast becomes societal problems such as racism. This case study examines how a presenter responds to a caller’s abuse in two live radio shows, and how she sets out a programme - and a new conversation - using her personal experience of racism/xenophobia. Using conversation analysis and discursive psychology, we studied the situated use of language and the actions being brought about. We found that the presenter assesses the caller’s abuse by rudeness on the spot, formulating the call as disruptive to an ongoing conversation. On the following day, the presenter revisits, and topicalises, this call as xenophobia and racism. Our analysis revealed that the presenter’s shift in evaluating this call is grounded in, and licensed by, her drawing on and cultivating a sympathetic listenership, characterising the call as race-driven, and formulating her personal experience as of public’s concern. Our findings spotlight the presenter’s orientation to her moral accountability in talking about racism, and the potential of broadcast in leading conversations on anti-racism.

WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT THROUGH RADIO BROADCAST PROGRAM STRATEGY

The radio broadcasting strategy is carried out by Beautiful Radio 95.6 FM on the broadcast program Ruang Perempuan. This research aims to find out the process of radio broadcasting strategy with Ruang Perempuan program using the concept of Peter K Pringle. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The technique of determining informants using purposive sampling technique. The research data obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research on the planning stage of Ruang Perempuan broadcasts are through the selection of themes, program formats, production teams and broadcasters, program objectives and routine evaluation. The production stage begins with making a question list, preparing equipment, making digital posters and brifieng; then followed by the production stage. The post-production stage involved handing over the inspirational women's charter and editing the aftermovie video. Execution stage by determining broadcast hours based on planning and target listeners. The monitoring and evaluation stage is carried out on an ongoing basis and once a month. Ruang Perempuan is present to optimize the broadcast program with the target audience of adult women aged 30-45 years in terms of information, inspiration, and motivation regarding finance, career, profession, business through female speakers. The implication is that radio broadcast programs specifically designed to encourage women's empowerment can be one of the effective instruments in overcoming gender inequality and increasing women's participation in various aspects of life.

Analisis Program Tayangan TVRI dan RRI Sumut Menjelang Pilpres dan Pileg 2024

This research discusses the analysis of North Sumatra TVRI and RRI broadcast programs ahead of the 2024 presidential and legislative elections. The elections will be held on February 14 2024. The event will be held to elect the President, Vice President, members of the DPR, Provincial DPRD, Regency/City DPRD, members DPD, as well as regional head elections (Governor, Regent, Mayor). The research method used is a qualitative method using desk study and field study techniques, that is, research using the method of collecting data from information as well as carrying out analysis and re-examining secondary data. The results of research by TVRI and RRI have created many programs ahead of the 2024 elections, both at the central and regional levels. Presenting news with the theme "People's Choice" which provides information to the Indonesian people regarding election preparations. The target of this program is to provide information and educate the public about elections so that people can use their voting rights as well as possible. With efforts to provide education to the public so that the 2024 election will be a good election.

ANALYSIS PRODUCTION PROCESS LIVE BROADCAST TALKSHOW OF THE BALI TV SAMATRA BALI ARTIST AS A PLACE FOR PUBLICATION OF LOCAL MUSICIANS WORKS

The Samatra Artis Bali Talkshow live broadcast program has succeeded in becoming a forum for local musicians to publish their work. Because as a local Balinese television media, Bali TV is a source of information media that is able to instill noble cultural values, as well as supporting local Balinese artists. In accordance with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum, the author had the opportunity to carry out an Internship/Work Practicum program which was carried out on Bali TV. The aim of this research is to explain the production process carried out. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with observation techniques on Bali TV. Data collection in preparing this thesis was obtained through interviews, documentation and observation. The author had the opportunity to directly see the pre-production, production and post-production processes. In the research carried out, at the pre-production process stage, the production team held an internal meeting to prepare the rundown. At the production stage, a 1 hour Live On-Air was carried out. And in the post-production stage, the team evaluates whether or not there are any obstacles that occurred during the program. A television program will not run smoothly if the behind-the-scenes activities are not managed effectively. With this thesis, the author hopes that readers, especially the Balinese people, including artists/art lovers, can better appreciate and preserve cultural works of art in Bali. The Bali Artist Samatra Program makes writers understand more about the importance of publishing their work/introducing their work via television media.

Mass Media Culture in Slovakia (on the Example of Tracking the Value Message of Media Content Flowing to the Public)

The media inherently reflect the cultural, political and social contexts of a nation through products (audiovisual programmes). Public opinion to some extent participates in the profiling of the programmes broadcast. The thematic concept of media products is marked by the current social current – the mainstream. The paper deals with the state of contemporary Slovak media in terms of value setting, specifically noting the pitfalls related to censorship, i.e. blocking uncomfortable opinions. It gives examples from media practice testifying to the violation of the typical principles of respecting the values of the pluralistic society in which we have been living for more than three decades. The main objective of the paper is to make the public image concerning media freedom (reflecting on problematic social causes) more accessible by presenting the stated facts, comparing them and placing them in a broader substantive context. Freedom of expression (thought) in the media should be maintained to a healthy degree even at the cost of expressing an opinion that contradicts the rhetoric of those in political power.

Eksistensi Radio Melalui Konvergensi Siaran di Era Digital

Radio is a communication medium that must now be able to compete with new media which is currently increasingly massive. The aim of this research is to find out how national private broadcast radio in West Java is able to maintain its existence and the strategies it implements to continue to exist amidst competition with digital information platforms that currently exist. Research respondents were managers of local radio stations in West Java, especially those in Bandung, Cimahi, Sukabumi and Cirebon. This research uses qualitative methods by describing the result of questioners and interviewing and then processing them in the form of descriptive narratives and pie diagram. The results of this research are that almost all private broadcast radio stations in the West Java region that were respondents implemented a convergence strategy to maintain their existence and made changes to their broadcast model management. Some of the convergence strategies implemented are broadcasting via digital streaming, creating more interesting broadcast program content with an audio-visual style such as podcasts, choosing broadcasters who have popularity and character, upgrading broadcast equipment, having social media as a branding and content publication medium, and upload content to YouTube media. This convergence strategy is also carried out to increase interest and the number of advertisers so that they can continue to choose radio as a medium for marketing the products and services offered more widely and in a contemporary style.

Digital education community TV existence in post analog switch off

Background: Based on Law (UU) Number 11 of 2020 regarding Cipta Kerja or the Omnibus Law, broadcasting institutions should switch from terrestrial or analog broadcasts to digital broadcasting via Analog Switch Off (ASO), which provides opportunities for community TV to develop. UGTV is Indonesia’s first digital education community TV to broadcast cultural and education-based programs. Purpose: To analyze the existence of UGTV as the first digital education community TV in Indonesia. Methods: Researchers distributed questionnaires to 144 respondents in Depok and 115 in Bekasi to determine the most popular programs. Researchers then conducted interviews with UGTV staff and leaders and compared the quality of UGTV programs based on KPI standards. Results: Based on the research results, UGTV as Indonesia’s first digital educational community television has met all KPI standards by offering some programs such as Team Teaching and Info Kampus. The types of broadcast programs in the form of tourism and cultural programs are still in demand and influence the audience’s viewing interest. Based on qualitative analysis as a follow-up analysis, the public response in these three areas is currently low because people have many new media choices that can be accessed easily at lower costs. Conclusion: The public feels that television lacks “interesting” shows so the existence of UGTV and other community channels can become a choice for the audience. Implications: KPI and KPID must actively monitor and develop broadcast content by collaborating with community broadcasting institutions so that broadcast production can be more varied.
