THE CONSOLIDATION OF AN ORGANIZATION'S SOCIAL CAPITAL: THE MODEL ANALYSIS

The issues of an organization's social capital are significantly relevant in the rapidly changing world. The study was conducted with the aim of validating the Components of an organization's Social Capital methodology and studying the complex of relationships between various components of social capital, which together constitute its consolidated form. An important task is also the analysis of the model of an organization's consolidated social capital in relation to other related constructs, such as organisational loyalty, reputation and trust. The study involved 300 participants, residents of Russia, working in organisations of various professional orientations. After studying the structure of obtained correlations, three factors were identified - Reputation, Trust and Commitment, explaining 74% of the variance in the respondents’ answers. The findings of the study can be used to improve the effectiveness of socio-psychological support for the consolidation of social capital in organisations.

Research on the Reform Path of Ideological and Political Education in Tourism English Courses in Higher Vocational Education

Tourism English in higher vocational education has profound humanistic, strong professional orientation, and instrumental characteristics. Through analyzing the current situation of ideological and political teaching in Tourism English courses in higher vocational education, it is found that there are too few ideological and political elements in the curriculum, the skills teaching and ideological education are not unified, and the ideological and political education in the curriculum tends to be empty preaching. The reasons for this are the weak ideological and political awareness of teachers, the emphasis on skills in textbooks over ideological and political education, and the conservatism of teaching methods. Based on the requirements of curriculum ideological and political education and teaching reform, a teaching reform practice path is constructed from four aspects: anchoring curriculum ideological and political goals, improving teachers’ ideological and political awareness and educational ability, creating ideological and political-oriented textbook resources, and integrating ideological and political teaching methods through multiple channels throughout the entire process, in order to cultivate students with patriotism, international vision, and professional skills.

An empirical study of strategic professional orientation of personnel of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine

Introduction. The war in Ukraine emphasizes the importance of prompt determination of strategic professional orientations of command-level military personnel and the formulation of recommendations about the involvement of officers and non-commissioned officers in military operations. Aim: to study the strategic orientation of command-level military personnel of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. Methods: a set of instruments to determine strategic orientation of command-level military personnel (Kirychevska, E.). Results. The majority of officers were shown to be highly oriented to the management of subordinates, while sergeants were mainly oriented to the development of military competence and making tactical decisions; more officers than sergeants had combined strategic orientations; both officers and sergeants had subordinate management as their dominant orientation. Conclusions. The research findings can be helpful in training officers and sergeants in developing necessary personal strategies to develop military skills and professionalism, which determine success of military operations.

In this overview study, we analyse student teachers’ master’s theses in Norwegian L1 from the first cohort of the five-year integrated master’s program for primary and lower secondary school teachers. We investigate what characterises the theses in terms of subject topics, interdisciplinary perspectives, and data sources. The data, consisting of summaries of 199 master’s theses, was collected from all teacher education institutions in Norway. The data is analysed by means of both quantitative and qualitative categories. Our qualitive content analysis reveals that literature, reading, writing, and multilingualism are the main academic foci. Additionally, many students incorporate interdisciplinary themes such as public health and life skills or linguistic and cultural diversity. Very few theses address topics requiring knowledge of language as a system, or historical topics. Furthermore, most students collect data from schools, often through interviews. The analytical findings are discussed in light of academic and educational policy issues, such as the content and framework of the L1 subject and the tension between professional and academic orientations in teacher education. Thus, the study contributes to discussions about master’s theses in teacher education in general, and, more specifically, about the operationalisation of the Norwegian L1 subject in schools and teacher education.

Effective use of the tools of probability theory and mathematical statistics in solving the problems of the professional orientation of physicists and mathematicians: an interdisciplinary approach

ABSTRACT The use of methods of mathematical statistics for teaching students carries the task of determining mathematical abilities, formalizing the choice of a professional orientation and the potential choice of solutions. In higher education, the use of the mathematical apparatus allows students to form the ability to multiple choice and assess the conditions of the choice. These include not only the choice of training courses, but also the areas of knowledge in which each student can fulfil themself. For mathematicians, this is especially true, since in most cases mathematics is used to solve purely applied problems. The novelty of the study is determined by the fact that the methods and tools of probability theory cannot be applied exclusively on an individual level. To determine the effectiveness of the methods used, it is necessary to determine the possibilities of group application of the used methodological apparatus and identify areas of assistance to the student in choosing a professional orientation. In terms of the use of ubiquitous distance education, the authors demonstrate the possibility of group work with mathematical support through the use of clusters and network techniques, when each individual is the host of the training programme.

Trends and motives in the post-graduate professional orientation of the young doctors of the 2023 class of Medical University-Sofia

The grown-up individual’s need for self-affirmation is a unified whole with his professional and labor activity and with the successful realization in it. For this reason, professional choice is a complex decision-making process, determined by social and personal factors, as it is dictated not only by the needs of society, but also by the interests, opportunities, needs and inclinations of the individual. In view of this, the present article will present and analyze data from an empirical study investigating the trends, motives and conditions in the professional orientation of young doctors of the 2023 Class of Medical university-Sofia.

THE STRUCTURE OF THE PROFESSIONAL READINESS OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN SOCIAL WORK TO PROVIDE COMPLEX SOCIAL SERVICES FOR THE FORMATION OF VITALITY

The purpose of the article is to determine and substantiate the structure of professional readiness of future specialists in social work to provide a complex social services for the formation of vitality. Research methods applied: the analysis of scientific publications on the problem of structuring the readiness of future specialists in social work for professional activity and generalisation of the structure of professional readiness to provide a to provide a complex social services for the formation of vitality. Various scientific views and approaches to understanding the structural components of professional readiness have been identified. The article analyzes the content and features of the professional readiness of future social work specialists for the provision of complex social services for the formation of vitality. Based on the analysis of the works of scientists in various fields, the essence of the concepts "readiness" and "professional readiness" was considered. Professional readiness is defined as a complex characteristic of a person, which consists of professional and personal qualities necessary for the successful implementation of professional activities. The professional readiness of future social workers presupposes the presence of a complex of knowledge, abilities, skills, qualities, abilities, and professional orientation, which contribute to the successful realization of a specialist in the social sphere in professional activity. Within the framework of the study, the structural components of the professional readiness of future social work specialists to provide complex social services for the formation of sustainability are revealed, analyzed, and substantiated: motivational-value, cognitive-content, operational-active, personal-psychological, and reflective-evaluative components.

Teaching the Professional Dimension of Translation in Academic Translation Programmes

Reform policies in higher education have brought about changes in attitudes regarding the education of translators. One of the latest challenges concerns the concept of professionalization of translation and the need for a type of training that would provide students with the specific skills required for the translator’s profession. Indeed, most translation programmes today aim at educating highly qualified translators on a competence-based training. Μore particularly, the emphasis is on metacognitive competence acquisition and the reflexive capacity development taking into account students’ motivation and expectations, their general background knowledge as well as individual learning styles. The present paper proposes a didactic approach on a professionally-oriented basis that would help students enter most effectively the translation industry by realizing at the same time the importance of acquiring a strong theoretical background on translation. Among the main issues to be addressed are the contribution of translation theory to the practice of translation, the role of the translator as cultural mediator, his social responsibilities as well as the translator’s psychological traits and their effect on translation quality. Finally, it proposes a variety of learning activities that are closely related to the act of translating together with a number of student assessment methods bearing a strong professional orientation.

Професійна спрямованість математичної підготовки студентів технічних спеціальностей у контексті фундаменталізації освітнього процесу

The article examines the peculiarities of mathematical training of future technical specialists in the context of fundamentalization of the educational process. The study of the definitions of fundamentalization, mathematical preparation was carried out, the main characteristic features of mathematical preparation, proposed by the researchers of the problem of mathematical preparation, were singled out. An analysis of the work of scientists dedicated to the selected research problem was carried out. It has been established that the mathematical training of future technical specialists is a dialectical combination of formed mathematical skills and abilities for their applied application and the direct process of forming these skills. The fundamentalization of mathematical training is considered to be the concept of improving mathematical training, in which basic mathematical invariants are selected for their further application in professional activities. To implement the approach of professional orientation of mathematical training of students of technical specialties, it is recommended to take into account the peculiarities of the construction of the course of higher mathematics and courses of special disciplines in order to enable the integration of educational material, as well as the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions. Based on the analysis of educational programs for students of various specialties of the Vinnytsia National Technical University, a conclusion was made about the difference in program results in mathematics for students of the same lecture stream. On the basis of which it is proposed to unify tasks of professional content. Examples of professional tasks from the "Theory of Probability" section are given.

Guarantees of Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities as a Component of Official Legal Status

The article explores and characterises the legislative guarantees of social protection for persons with disabilities among military personnel and individuals discharged from military service. It analyses national labour and social legislation regarding special pension programmes, employ­ment, social payments/assistance, and social services available in our country for persons with disabilities. The content of specific guarantees for military personnel and those equated to them, as determined by their service status, is highlighted, as emphasised by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in its decisions. It is noted that such guarantees for individuals serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations apply not only during their service period but also after discharge. Based on the analysed normative acts, it is concluded that the issue of guaranteeing social protection for persons with disabilities, as a component of their special service status, can only be considered with the presence of proper legal confirmation of the impact of service-military activities on the person’s health. It is established that if a former military service member is recognised as a person with a disability due to a disease that arose after discharge from military or equivalent service, the causal link between such a disease and their past service activities must be established. It is emphasised that the legislator also defines additional special conditions for the onset of disability as a component of the grounds for receiving certain types of social protection. One of the conditions is the determination of the time frame for establishing disability after discharge from military service. It is emphasised that the use of time criteria as legal conditions for acquiring the right to social protection violates the constitutional principles of equality in the right to social protection and justice in society. Based on the analysis of the mechanism for providing employment-related social services to persons with disabilities discharged from military and equivalent service, it is concluded that this mechanism is imperfect and not adapted to the current realities in the country. The need to develop a social services system in Ukraine is stressed, one that, on the one hand, ensures effective socialisation and professional orientation for those discharged from military service due to disability, and on the other hand, takes into account the specific conditions under which the disability was acquired. A drawback in this system is highlighted - the lack of a mechanism to involve employers in the process of socialisation and professional adaptation of the individual. It is noted that merely legislating the obligation to create jobs for persons with disabilities is an insufficient measure for facilitating the professional and social rehabilitation of individuals. Proposed are appropriate amendments to the legislation on the social protection of persons with disabilities.

The Impact of Career Orientation of Beauty Salon Workers on Transfer Motivation: Focused on the Moderating Effect of Organizational Support

Purpose: In this study the impact of beauty shop workers’ Career Orientation on Transfer Motivation was analyzed with organization support as a moderating effect.
 Method: This study looked at previous studies on each variable based on domestic and foreign research papers and books, and analyzed a total of 310 valid questionnaires using beauty shop workers as the population. Statistical processing was performed using the statistical analysis package SPSS v.23. Frequency analysis was conducted to determine the demographic characteristics of the study subjects, and Cronbach's evaluation of internal consistency was conducted to determine the reliability of the questions on Career Orientation, Transfer Motivation, and organizational support. Reliability analysis was conducted using the Alpha coefficient. The comprehensive influence relationship forming the causal relationship between the variables presented in the research model was conducted through multiple regression analysis and controlled regression analysis.
 Results: The above analysis results are summarized as follows.
 First, the impact of Career Orientation on Transfer Motivation is that among the Career Orientation factors, Organizational Orientation (Organizational Orientation) and Professional Orientation (Professional Orientation) are It was found to have a positive (+) direction on Transfer Motivation. In other words, as Organizational Orientation and Professional Orientation among Career Orientation factors increase, Transfer Motivation also increases.
 Second, among Career Orientation factors, it was verified that Professional Orientation has the greatest influence on Transfer Motivation.
 Third, organizational support was found to moderate the effect of Career Orientation on Transfer Motivation.
 Among the Career Orientation factors, organizational support was adjusted to have a lower impact on Transfer Motivation the higher the Organizational Orientation, and the higher the Professional Orientation, the higher the Transfer Motivation. It was verified that the effect on (transition motivation) was adjusted to increase.
 Conclusion: This study provides basic data to improve the capabilities of employees through the organization's continuous support for organizational members and to facilitate human resource management so that they can directly contribute to organizational performance. As a result, the turnover rate of beauty shop workers can be reduced and individual capabilities can be strengthened. I hope that it can be put to good use.

Career guidance for high school students: social design resources

The article discusses various approaches to the definition of career guidance work, the generalization of which allows it to be defined as a system of preparing students for a free and independent choice of profession. It is noted that the result of the lack of targeted and systematic career guidance work with students is the admission to universities of students with low motivation to study in the chosen field of study. As the leading task of career guidance work, it is determined to conduct psychological, pedagogical, informational, practical and activity support for students in the formation of their own position in professional self-determination. Such work will be able to increase the effectiveness of professional self-determination, make it more adequate to the characteristics of the individual, with the use of resources both in class and extracurricular activities. The use of information and communication technologies in the study of academic disciplines, students can receive information about various types of professional activities, social, economic and psychological components of professions. During extracurricular time, career guidance of students can be carried out in the course of social and cultural activities, which allows students to be included in cognitive, performing, creative, and communicative activities. The technology of social design, which is understood as the result of creative socially significant activity to overcome social problems, has special opportunities in the professional orientation of students. The use of this technology makes it possible to create conditions for students to independently comprehend their future, the manifestation of social activity and a subjective life position. As part of the study, a regional competition of social advertising «We are in the world» was developed and implemented, the purpose of which was to attract the attention of students to the actual social problems of society. The competition was attended by students of grades 8–11 of secondary schools of the city, region, and the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Algorithm for the development of a web-oriented enterprise digitalization application

This paper describes the Digitalization of Enterprises which plays a key role in the modern world as it helps enterprises to increase efficiency and competitiveness. Your algorithm for enterprise digitalization, which takes into account the current experience of countries that have succeeded in digitalization, such as the UK, the US and the European Union, looks very thoughtful and comprehensive. It also needs to take into account the specifics of e-services in Ukraine, the professional orientation of employees of enterprises, and the level of complexity of specialized equipment and technologies used. This allows for the development of a wide range of skills required for mastering digital technologies and hardware by different categories of Ukrainian industrial workers. This approach to the formation of areas and components of the enterprise digitalization algorithm in the form of a structure that covers all components of the modern ecosystem of electronic services formed in Ukraine seems to be very productive. Digitalization includes a number of key elements, such as process automation, the use of big data for decision-making, the introduction of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the use of cloud technologies. All of these elements can help businesses increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer service. It is also important to note that digitalization requires businesses to invest heavily in training and development of their staff, as new technologies require new skills. Education and training are key success factors in digitalization. Digital transformation uses digital technologies to create new or modify existing business processes, culture, and customer experiences to respond to changing business and market demands. This transition from old to new business and technology models involves certain key areas. Digital transformation is not just about introducing new technologies, but also about rethinking the way an enterprise operates at all levels, and includes rethinking customer experience, how data is handled, internal processes, and company culture. Digital transformation can be a challenge, but it can also bring significant benefits to those who implement it. The algorithm for the digitalization of enterprises starts with competencies for Ukrainian industrial workers – a key tool developed to improve the level of digital skills of workers. This tool is aimed at supporting government agencies in policy-making and planning educational programs that focus on the development of digital literacy and the practical application of digital technologies in all areas of industry in Ukraine.

The role of chief medical officers in the Italian context: managers or clinicians?

PurposeDespite the advent of New Public Management theories over three decades ago, doubts persist regarding the practical implementation of these principles in the public health-care context. Challenges arise particularly from the type of system where this phenomenon is analyzed. In the Italian context, for instance, it can be arduous to define universally applicable organizational behaviors, given the interregional disparity that characterizes such a system. Furthermore, the professional identity of clinician-managers influences the perception of what “being a manager” means. This paper, thus, using the Italian context as a reference, aims to delineate what is the perception of Italian public hospitals clinician-middle-managers in terms of their responsibilities and tasks.Design/methodology/approachA survey-questionnaire was distributed to 6,011 Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) in Italian public hospitals, representing 100% of such role holders in the country. With a response rate of 16.7%, 1,005 responses were obtained. The questionnaire assessed CMOs' attitudes toward specific activities relevant to clinician-management, ranked from most to least important. Activities were derived from literature and categorized to discern management styles. Subgroups based on geographical location and professional orientation were also identified to isolate regional effects and professional identity influences.FindingsResults suggested that activities associated with a collaborative approach are perceived as most important. Furthermore, it clearly emerges the difference based on professional orientation of CMOs. However, it could not be appreciated the same level of difference basing the analysis on regional disparities.Originality/valueThe interest in the role of middle management in healthcare organizations has increased over the years. Nevertheless, currently the authors believe that not many studies are focused on defining what “being a manager” means for clinician-managers themselves, rather than explaining what clinician-managers shall do.

Development of Public English Teachers in Chinese Vocational Colleges via the Mechanism of “One Body, Two Wings and Three Parties Collaborations”

A good public English teaching faculty is an essential requirement for the development of high-quality vocational education and is urgently needed to achieve the objectives outlined by the “New Curriculum Standards” in Chinese colleges. The current challenges faced by the construction of the public English teaching faculty in the colleges include improper professional development orientation, unreasonable teacher structure ratios, imbalanced teacher ability development, indistinctive faculty characteristics, and inadequate fulfillment of moral cultivation objective. To address these issues, this study based on the questionnaire survey and cases collected mainly from higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi’s province explores repositioning the new professional role of public English teachers under the “New Curriculum Standards” by implementing the working mechanism: “one body (public English teachers), two wings (recruiting & training public English talents), and three parties (government, schools and enterprises) collaboration.” It aims to comprehensively enhance the integrated qualities of “professional knowledge + foreign language skills + cultural literacy” among teachers, thus improving the moral and intellectual nurturing capacity of public English courses in higher vocational education.

Business Games as a Tool for Forming a Professional Trajectory of a Specialist

Professional orientation is a necessary tool for preparing teenagers for their future profession and an integral part of the work of a higher school teacher at the stages of becoming a doctor. The development and implementation of business games in medicine make it possible not only to interest students in the profession, but also to form the foundations of clinical thinking and team interaction.

Multimedia electronic manual "Thermometry"

Relevance. The education system plays a crucial role in the formation of professional orientation in the learning process. The digital transformation of education has become an integral part of the development of our society. One of the effective tools in the context of the activation of digital didactics to improve the quality of educational services is the introduction of modern distance learning technologies.Aim. Creation of a multimedia electronic manual dedicated to teaching the discipline "Propaedeutics of internal diseases" on the topic "Thermometry".Materials and methods. The multimedia electronic manual "Thermometry" developed at the Propaedeutic Therapy Department in Samara State Medical University contains theoretical material on the methodology and technique of measuring body temperature. The manual provides illustrative material with illustrations and description of the main types of fevers, describes the grades of fever, provides a detailed description of the rules for the registration of a temperature chart and provides an example of a filled temperature chart. The presented multimedia electronic manual contains a set of tests and clinical cases for self-monitoring of students' knowledge with references.Conclusion. The multimedia electronic manual "Thermometry" developed at Samara State Medical University can increase the efficiency of learning the material, which will help to improve the formation of professional competencies among students, while examining patients of various profiles, making correct diagnosis and management strategy.

THE ROLE OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SOCIO-PROFESSIONAL ORIENTATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND ITS IMPACT ON THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY

Purpose of the research. The aim of the study is to elucidate the role of non-governmental organizations in facilitating the social adaptation and professional orientation of the younger generation in the country as a process of providing human resources for the country's economy.Methodology. The research employed systemic, statistical, and comparative analysis methods to assess the role of non-governmental organizations in supporting the socio-professional orientation of young people in Kazakhstan. The authors conducted a literature review of scholarly works on the research topic, which allowed for the examination of similar trends and effective approaches of advanced countries to address this issue, as well as to identify key aspects contributing to the successful socio-professional orientation of young people in the country.Originality / value of the research. The originality and value of the study lie in examining and evaluating the role of non-governmental organizations in supporting the socio-professional orientation of youth in Kazakhstan, taking into account the changes in institutional frameworks in accordance with the new reality. This understanding underscores that effective youth support requires not only the development of corresponding programs and projects but also the alteration of institutional mechanisms in such a way that these programs are successfully implemented and bring maximum benefit to society.Findings. Key aspects related to youth's choice of professional path, crucial for Kazakhstani youth, have been identified. At this stage, young people encounter a range of issues. It has been revealed that the adaptation of institutional mechanisms contributes to the more effective functioning of non-governmental organizations and increases their influence on the socio-professional orientation of youth. Practical recommendations for enhancing interaction between governmental and non-governmental organizations to ensure the most effective support for the socio-professional orientation of youth in Kazakhstan have been formulated. The role of nongovernmental organizations in strengthening institutional capacity in ensuring more consistent, result-oriented support for youth has been justified.

Information and analytical provision of the police in the conditions of the legal regime of martial state: possibilities and need for coordinated actions of the police when receiving information on the temporary occupied

After the full-scale military invasion of the occupying country, the national security of Ukraine required drastic and urgent actions both on the battlefield and to ensure security within the state. The search for alternative and more effective ways of obtaining and transmitting information in the defense and security sector is an important issue for achieving peace in our country. The current state of repelling military aggression prompts Ukrainian society to format information and analytical support on new tracks and rapid training of personnel. The discovery of collaborators and aids of the aggressor country in the temporarily occupied territories among modern Ukrainians became a new resistance in the modern war. This phenomenon does not create a positive dynamic in expelling the occupier from Ukrainian land, which is due to betrayal, assistance and the need to fight against such elements. Modern war emphasizes the need to neutralize the enemy not only on the battlefield, but also in the middle of our country. In this aspect, receiving and transmitting information in the defense and security sector will make a significant contribution to achieving a positive result. The development of events without the appropriate armament conditions decision-making and their implementation in a way that does not correspond to traditional military tactics. Skillful processing of the received information can lead to a change in the situation on the battlefield in the shortest possible time. The use of traditional guerrilla warfare in modern conditions must be adapted to military practices and the latest technologies. However, this aspect is due to the lack of opportunities and the necessary support for the implementation of the assigned operational and service-combat tasks. In such conditions, the acquisition of skills in relevant fields before the onset of critical and/ or emergency situations becomes an important issue. After all, professional orientation involves understanding and internal perception of the goals and tasks of professional activity. The changes taking place in the content of professional orientation are reflected in the fact that they strengthen the motives related to professional activity, call for a desire to conscientiously perform one’s official duties, the desire to show oneself as a qualified specialist and achieve success not only at work, but also on the battlefield with the enemy.
