Research on reliable transmission and application security architecture of power IoT based on energy interconnection

Power Internet of Things (IoT) is an important support for digital innovation service of power energy internet, covering all aspects of power system. Power IoT security defense system may have customer data information leakage during transmission because of the use of traditional means of isolation. This paper proposes a reliable transmission and application security architecture for power smart IoT based on energy interconnection, aiming to solve the reliable transmission and security authentication problems existing in power systems. The paper first analyzes the security risk of the grid wise IoT system, proposes an effective power IoT security transmission scheme, and evaluates the safe and reliable transmission of the grid wise IoT system. Then designed a safe and reliable transmission of the grid smart IoT system, to deal with the traditional power network transmission security and communication security problems. The final application is in the construction of the security transmission platform of the wisdom park of Shanxi Electric Power Company, which provides the corresponding security protection capability in the power IoT through the situational awareness security measures of each layer, and realizes the reliable transmission and security application of the source network load storage and other links in the power IoT environment.

Security Authentication Framework Design for Electric Internet of Things

The intelligent terminal equipment of the electric internet of things (IoT) is vulnerable to network attacks when installing APPs from the application store. Encryption of the communication process can enhance security protection, but the key needs to be stored in the local equipment. When the equipment is attacked, the key is leaked easily resulting in communication security problems. To solve the above problems, we proposes a terminal APP security authentication mechanism based on TrustZone approach and OP-TEE (Open Source Trust Execution Environment) system to identify the identity information of both sides of the communication. The digital certificate of the application store is checked before the terminal equipment installs the APP. After the check is passed, the session key is generated in the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), and the communication parties use the session key to encrypt the subsequent process. Simulation results validate that the proposed security authentication mechanism can effectively protect the communication process of terminal equipment installation APP and meet the performance requirements.

LQG, PID controller, ANN for single axis gimbal actuator

Gimbal or other stable platforms have structures that move according to its functions. This is for the purpose of keeping track of the goals to the fullest. Tracking targets can become difficult as the subject moves further and further away and they are out of the gimbal’s allowable viewing range. Besides, under the influence of noise signals form outside space, it becomes even more difficult to observe the gimbal’s targets. To overcome above disadvantages, this paper is presented an adjustment method to limit above risks. Adjusting Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) for expensive gimbal systems, noise signals are processed purely by Kalman filters to improve the function of observing targets. In addition, proportional- integral-derivative (PID) controller, artificial neural network in this case is also considered to verify the effectiveness of control methods listed below. In particular, ANN is the most effective control method today to deal with unwanted signals. These unwanted signals can cause worsening conditions during the operation of systems.Therefore, artificial network (ANN) is a solution to information and communication security problems. Simulation is done by Matlab. Novelty of the work: no previous research has been published for this genre. The study of this genre with the use of artificial intelligence is suggestive of the study of artificial intellligence technologies at a higher level. This category is also a suggestion for studying a smoother control method based on existing data.

Design and technical verification of a new type of subscriber identity module card for internet of vehicles

The Internet of Vehicles communication security aims to solve the V2X communication security problems under several scenarios, including direct communication and communication based on cellular network, and provides guaranteed communication security for the achievement of business goals such as vehicle-road information collaboration and road safety. Currently, V2X communication security mostly adopts digital certificate technical proposal based on public key infrastructure and is implemented through the HSM security module. However, this solution requires to preset security data such as digital certificate in the HSM module of the vehicle terminal, which has high demands on the production line of the enterprise, the difficulty is predictable. This paper designs a new type of SIM card for Internet of Vehicles based on high performance chip, which can implement the writing and updating operation of security parameters (certificates, keys, etc.) online, which can reduce the requirements for the transformation of the production line of car companies and at the same time, the security of data management is also improved. The validation result indicates that the new SIM card can realize functions such as login authentication, certificate download, signature verification, etc., and its performance meets the requirements of V2X secure communication.

Channel-Based Dynamic Key Generation for Physical Layer Security in OFDM-PON Systems

Key generation and distribution is a fundamental problem of communication security. To avoid the potential risk due to static key, a physical-layer dynamic key generation and encryption scheme is proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing passive optical network (OFDM-PON) systems. By exploiting the inherent channel randomness, the shared secret key between the OLT and ONU is generated and renewed periodically, thereby effectively improving the security against malicious attacks. The transmission experiment of 3.5 Gb/s 16-quardrature-amplitued-modulatin encrypted OFDM data is successfully demonstrated over a 25 km standard single-mode fiber. The key space of the proposed encryption scheme reaches 10 <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">66</sup> , which provides privacy between users and protection against eavesdropping.

Probabilistic and Hierarchical Quantum Information Splitting Based on the Non-Maximally Entangled Cluster State

With the emergence of classical communication security problems, quantum communication has been studied more extensively. In this paper, a novel probabilistic hierarchical quantum information splitting protocol is designed by using a non-maximally entangled four-qubit cluster state. Firstly, the sender Alice splits and teleports an arbitrary one-qubit secret state invisibly to three remote agents Bob, Charlie, and David. One agent David is in high grade, the other two agents Bob and Charlie are in low grade. Secondly, the receiver in high grade needs the assistance of one agent in low grade, while the receiver in low grade needs the aid of all agents. While introducing an ancillary qubit, the receiver’s state can be inferred from the POVM measurement result of the ancillary qubit. Finally, with the help of other agents, the receiver can recover the secret state probabilistically by performing certain unitary operation on his own qubit. In addition, the security of the protocol under eavesdropping attacks is analyzed. In this proposed protocol, the agents need only single-qubit measurements to achieve probabilistic hierarchical quantum information splitting, which has appealing advantages in actual experiments. Such a probabilistic hierarchical quantum information splitting protocol hierarchical is expected to be more practical in multipartite quantum cryptography.

A System for Source Address Authentication and Anonymous Communication Based on SDN

Based on the idea of SDN (Software Defined Network) management and control separation and the development convenience provided by the programmable interface, we conduct the research on the security during the communication security, and protection for anonymity: (1) For the problem of communication security, we design two source address authentication schemes to detect whether the source host is legal. (2) For the problem of anonymity protection, A series of changes of the IP address in data packets by intermediate SDN switches make it difficult for the attacker to obtain information from both parties in communication. And to ensure that the address generated after the execution of those changes can uniquely identify the current data stream, we proposed the Improved-MAGA algorithm based on MAGA (M-Address Generation Algorithm). (3) For the shortest path routing algorithm, which maybe result in hot-links problems, the measurement link bandwidth utilization is added as a weight vector in the routing process to solve the problem of excessive link load caused by the default routing algorithm.

Communication Security Design of Brain-Like System Based on Cloud Computing Platform

This paper mainly studies the communication security problems of brain-like system (or robotic brain) based on cloud computing platform, and designs a more convenient and safer communication mechanism for the robotic brain, which includes password algorithm design, digital signature design before login, data exchange design during login process, and security protection design against network attacks. Only the legitimate users can communicate with the robotic brain to ensure that the control authority of the robotic brain is not illegally stolen. In the authentication process, the key agreement must be carried out first, the user name and password of the legitimate user must be encrypted and sent, and the encryption algorithm must be guaranteed to be unable to be deciphered under the existing technical conditions. For the important communication data, the encrypted transmission is required, the encryption key is determined through negotiation, the encryption algorithm must be safe and reliable, and the encryption and decryption speed must be guaranteed. This process requires ensuring that communication data is not stolen illegally, and the data can be verified to avoid tampering and illegal data insertion. The users may control the robotic brain to work, and ensure its safety during the communication process.

CICS: Cloud–Internet Communication Security Framework for the Internet of Smart Devices

&lt;p class="0abstract"&gt;The internet of smart devices is a network of intelligent gadgets with sensors, programs, Wi-Fi and communication network connections. These devices store the data in cloud and process data outside the device using the proposed Cloud-Internet communication framework. These devices can communicate with other devices using the proposed framework. However, there are many challenges for communication security among the internet of smart devices. The Cloud can store the device data with security, reliability, privacy and service availability. The communication Security has been raised as one of the most critical issues of cloud computing where resolving such an issue would result in a constant growth in the use and popularity of cloud computing. Our purpose of this study is to create a framework for providing the communication security among smart devices network for the internet of things using cloud computing. Our main contribution links a new study for providing communication security for the internet of smart devices using the cloud-Internet framework. This study can be helpful for communication security problem in the framework of the Internet of Things. The proposed study generates a new framework for solving the issue of communication security among internet of smart devices.&lt;/p&gt;

Designing adaptive JPEG steganography based on the statistical properties in spatial domain

Steganography is an important branch of information hiding, which is an effective way to solve the problem of communication security. Steganography can hide specific secret information in some kind of public information, such as images, documents, audio and video, without any suspicion. Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) compressed image is the most widely used image format on the Internet. Recently, a series of JPEG image steganographic algorithms have been proposed. However, the existing JPEG steganography usually designs the cost function based on the statistical distribution in the DCT domain. In this paper, with the help of a “Microscope”, which can enhance the JPEG images in the spatial domain and highlight the texture regions, we design the steganographic cost function based on the statistical distribution of JPEG images in spatial domain and work out a JPEG image steganography with high security performance. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed designing strategy is a practical approach to against several existing state-of-the-art steganalytic tools.

Establishing Different Pairwise Keys Based-On LEACH for Securing Wireless Sensor Networks

The communication security problems for wireless sensor networks are exacerbated by the limited power and energy of the sensor devices. The focus of this paper is to design a lightweight group key management scheme to safeguard the data packet passing on the sensor networks. The design of the protocol is motivated by the observation that many sensor nodes in the network play different roles. We describe the design and implementation of establishing different pairwise keys based on LEACH. The protocol contains group communication policies, group membership requirements for secure communication under different types of attacks.

Protocol of Secure Key Distribution Using Hash Functions and Quantum Authenticated Channels (KDP-6DP)

Problem statement: In previous researches, we investigated the security of communication channels, which utilizes authentication, key distribution between two parties, error corrections and cost establishment. In the present work, we studied new concepts of Quantum Authentication (QA) and sharing key according to previous points. Approach: This study presented a new protocol concept that allows the session and key generation on-site by independently applying a cascade of two hash functions on a random string of bits at the sender and receiver sides. This protocol however, required a reliable method of authentication. It employed an out-of-band authentication methodology based on quantum theory, which uses entangled pairs of photons. Results: The proposed quantum-authenticated channel is secure in the presence of eavesdropper who has access to both the classical and the quantum channels. Conclusion/Recommendations: The key distribution process using cascaded hash functions provides better security. The concepts presented by this protocol represent a valid approach to the communication security problem.

An efficient key management protocol for wireless sensor networks

Key management is a fundamental security service in wireless sensor networks. The communication security problems for these networks are exacerbated by the limited power and energy of the sensor devices. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of an efficient key management scheme based on low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) for wireless sensor networks. The design of the protocol is motivated by the observation that many sensor nodes in the network play different roles. The paper presents different keys are set to the sensors for meeting different transmitting messages and variable security requirements. Simulation results show that our key management protocol based-on LEACH can achieve better performance. The energy consumption overhead introduced is remarkably low compared with the original Kerberos schemes.
