Formulation development and evaluation of controlled release matrix tablets of glibenclamide

The present study aimed to formulate and evaluate the controlled-release matrix tablets of Glibenclamide which is an antidiabetic drug that belongs to the second-generation oral hypoglycemics. Matrix tablets were prepared by three different polymers as sustained-release agents, using Glibenclamide as a model drug. Three polymers were selected for this study- HPMC K 15, HPMC K 100, and EC in different drug: polymer ratios. The drug was identified by FTIR spectroscopic method. The pre-compression and post-compression parameters of all formulations were found to be within acceptable limits. The release rate of Glibenclamide from matrix tablets was studied using the USP Dissolution Testing Apparatus type-I (Basket method). The formulation F6 which contained EC 50mg showed a maximum release of 99.28% in 24 hrs and revealed that EC was more effective in sustaining the drug release therefore formulation F6 was selected as the optimized formulation. The in-vitro release data of optimized formulation was fit into various kinetic models, among the different model's data of in-vitro release of best fit into Zero order kinetic model. The formulation best fit the Higuchi model and showed that drug release from the prepared matrix tablets occurs via a diffusion process.

In vitro, in vivo and stability assessment of optimised nanoparticulate matrix tablet of nebivolol hydrochloride

The objective of the present study was to define the effects on the antihypertension activity and pharmacokinetics of an optimised nanoparticulate matrix tablet containing nebivolol hydrochloride. The nanoparticulate matrix tablet was formulated using Nebivolol nanoparticles which are prepared by a solvent evaporation method using varying concentrations of drug and polymer Eudragit RL 100 and optimised by two factorial designs using a quadratic model and the nanoparticulate matrix tablet was prepared by using a varying concentration of drug nanoparticles and ethyl cellulose. The sustained release ability formulation was further demonstrated in an in-vivo study in Wister rats. The prepared matrix tablets showed an improved bioavailability. The Tmax, Cmax, and the AUC were increased and extended, respectively. The antihypertensive activity showed a distinct change in SBP in DOCA salt-induced hypertensive rats as compared with pure drug. A significant reduction of DBP and HR were also observed after the treatment with nanoparticulate matrix tablet. There was no significant degradation and change in drug release rate in formulations during six months of stability testing. The results suggest that nanoparticulate matrix tablets can act as a promising carrier for nebivolol hydrochloride which offers an alternative approach for regular delivery of nebivolol.

The drug have less half-life and eliminated from the body with in short period of time. The formulation of drug matrix types have been avoided by difficult sustained release drug delivery system. The mechanism of matrix tablets include the both dissolution and diffusion controlled. It produce the therapeutic efficacy. The goal of this review article is to discuss the release mechanism of the drug dosage form of various polymers and a matrix system used in preparation of matrix tablets.

Development and Evaluation of Gastrobioadhesive Glimepiride Sustained Release Matrix Tablet Using Aegle Marmelos Polysaccharide

The purpose of present study was to formulate and evaluate glimepiride gastrobioadhesive drug delivery using Aegle Marmelos polysaccharide and synthetic polymer for prolongation of gastric residence time and reduce the dosing frequency. Glimepiride matrices were prepared by direct compression method and evaluated with an aim of presenting glimepiride as sustained release for improving the patient’s compliance. A central composite design (CCD) was employed as Aegle Marmelos polysaccharide (X1) and HPMC K4M (X2) independent variables to optimize the glimepiride in terms of sustained release and gastrobioadhesive. The response (Y1) as bioadhesive strength, (Y2) percentage drug releases at 8 h and (Y3) time (t50) required to 50% drug release were measured for each trial and statistical equations with significant interaction terms were derived to predict relation. The physical properties of all formulations hardness, friability, drug content and weight variation were found within limits indicating that the prepared matrix tablets met the USP specifications. Among all the formulations, F1 formulation found to be optimized based on the criteria of attaining the maximum value of drug released Q8 of 98.58±1.12%, 18.43 g bioadhesive strength and time to 50% drug release (t50) of 6 h. An in-vitro drug release studies reveals that as concentrations of polymers increases the drug release decreases, producing sustained release of glimepiride. The release co-efficient values ‘n’ (˂0.3645) indicated that the drug release (F1) followed fickian diffusion mechanism kinetics. A glimepiride gastroadhesive matrix was developed to enhance its bioavailability by prolonging the gastric residence time with desirable release modulation for a once daily administration.

FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF COLON TARGETED MATRIX TABLETS CONTAINING EXTRACT OF SOLENOSTEMMA ARGEL (HARGEL)

The objective of the present study is to formulate colon targeted matrix tablets containing Solenostemma argel extract using guar gum alone or in combination with either HPMC K15M, with Eudragit S100, or with both them. The Hargel colon targeted matrix tablets were prepared by wet granulation method. The prepared matrix tablets were evaluated for the weight variation, hardness, friability, and in-vitro drug release study in three different media. The formulations showed compliance with pharmacopial standards except that containing guar gum alone. There was no interaction between drug, polymer and other excipients. It was confirmed by FTIR studies. Among the formulations, GHE2 (i.e. containing triple polymer mixture) showed good results in release retardation and other physicochemical properties of matrix tablets when compare to other formulations. The optimum formulation (GHE2) was stable when it was stored at 450/75% RH for 3 months. The formulation GHE2 was considered the most suitable formula for targeted the colon.

The tablets were prepared by direct compression technique using Xanthan gum and Ethyl Cellulose. The prepared matrix tablets were evaluated for their physicochemical parameters such as weight variation, hardness, friability, content uniformity and in-vitro dissolution. Pre and post compression parameters were evaluated and all the parameters were found within the limit. The drug release data were subjected to different models in order to evaluate release kinetics and mechanism of drug release. Formulation F4 was selected as best formulation. The dissolution of formulation F4 can be Shows Non-fickian drug release mechanism.

Formulation and Characterization of Ondansetron Hydrochloride Matrix Tablets for Sustained Drug Delivery

The objective of proposed work was to develop Ondansetron Hydrochloride (OND HCl) sustained release matrix tablets for the better treatment of vomiting for extended period of time. Sustained release matrix tablet is the drug delivery system that is designed to achieve a prolonged therapeutic effect by continuously releasing medication over an extended period of time after administration of single dose. The matrix tablets of OND HCl were prepared by direct compression method using varying ratio of hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) and ethyl cellulose. The bends of tablets were evaluated for bulk and tapped density, % compressibility index and angle of repose and powder of all formulations blend exhibited that low interparticle friction and excellent flow characteristics. The prepared matrix tablets were then assessed for different physical tests like consistency of weight, thickness, hardness, friability, drug content and in vitro drug release. Each batch of the OND HCl matrix tablets were of good quality as to hardness, thickness, friability and % medicament content. The in vitro drug release study was done for 2 hours by utilizing paddle technique in 0.1N HCl (pH 1.2) as dissolution media and 6 hours using phosphate buffer (pH 6.8) as dissolution media. The drug release study showed that all formulation FMT-1, FMT-2, FMT-3, FMT-4, FMT-5 and FMT-6 were provide the drug release on sustained manner up to 8 hrs. Amongst the developed matrix tablets formulations, FMT-2 containing ethyl cellulose (100 mg) was optimized as best because FMT-2 show highest drug release profile and promoting the sustained release of drug, which could potentially improve the patient compliance.

Formulation and In-Vitro Evaluation of Metformin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Tablets

The objective of the present study was to study the effect of hydrophilic polymers on sustained release of metformin hydrochloride from tablets. Compatibility was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The tablets were prepared by direct compression technique using Xanthan gum alone and in combination with HPMC as release retardant. Di calcium phosphate was used as diluent. The prepared matrix tablets were evaluated for their physicochemical parameters such as weight variation, hardness, friability, content uniformity and in-vitro dissolution. Pre and post compression parameters were evaluated and all the parameters were found within the limit. The drug release data were subjected to different models in order to evaluate release kinetics and mechanism of drug release. Formulation F5 was selected as best formulation. The dissolution of formulation F5 can be described by first order kinetics with fickian diffusion as the release mechanism. Development composite polymer matrix tablets with a preset time of isosorbide dinitrate release by the method of mathematical modeling

The kinetics of release of isosorbide dinitrate from coated and uncoated granules with a diameter of 0.5–0.8 mm and 0.8–1.25 mm used for the preparation of matrix tablets was studied. A statistical analysis of the results is made. For the same time value and different pH values, the mean values of release and empirical values of the Shapiro – Wilk criterion were calculated. For a series of series at the same time and different pH, the empirical values of the Cochren test and the non-parametric Cruskell – Wallis test are calculated considering the repeating groups and the Iman – Davenport correction for the number of elements in the sample. A low pH effect on release kinetics has been established. When modeling the release of pellet-based tablets, the characteristics of the normal distribution for each of the granule types and each time value are used. The amount of each type of granules that make up the tablet core is calculated to achieve the desired release profile in Excel using the Search Solver add-in. For the mean values of release for the granules of three types by the least square’s method, we obtained the mass values of the total content of isosorbide dinitrate. For experimental verification of the model, a batch of matrix tablets was prepared using coated and uncoated granules with a diameter of 0.5–0.8 mm. A study of the kinetics of release of isosorbide dinitrate from tablets at pH 1.2; 4.5; 6.8. A statistical analysis of the obtained data and a comparison of the results with calculations by the model were carried out. It has been established that the approach used makes it possible to describe the release of isosorbide dinitrate from tablets with an acceptable accuracy. The accuracy criterion is established - the experimental profile of release of the developed composition falls within the boundaries between the maximum and minimum desired profile. As a result of the research, a composite drug of prolonged action Dikor Long based on isosorbide dinitrate has been developed. The drug has passed state tests, its industrial production has been adjusted in Research and Production Company "Microkhim".

Formulation of Gastro-retentive Floating Tablets of Valsartan by 2 power 2 Factorial Designs: In vitro and In vivo Evaluations

An oral dosage form containing gastro-retentive floating tablets forms a stomach-specific drug delivery system for the treatment of hypertension. Valsartan belongs to the BCS class II (poo Classification System). It is desirable to improve the extent of bioavailability (23%). The objective of the present study was to apply design of experiment to optimize floating drug delivery of valsartan by employing 22 factorial design. Improvement of the aqueous solubility of valsartan was done by solid dispersions using hot melt extrusion technique. Plasdone S630 copovidone is a variable carrier and drug to carrier ratio of 1:2 was optimized. Valsartan floating tablets were prepared by employing factorial design (22), where HPMC K15M (X1) and pregelatinized starch (X2) were independent variables and drug dissolution was the dependent parameter (Y1) to prepare matrix tablets. The factorial analysis, steepest ascent method was utilized for obtaining optimized formulation. In vitro evaluation, In vivo radiographic study and biopharmaceutical analysis in rabbits for valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5). Floating lag time (FLT) for valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5) was 15 s and total floating time (TFT) of the tablets was about 33 h, which was satisfactory. A four-point (1 h, 4 h, 8 h and 16 h) dissolution analysis gave satisfactory dissolution profile up to 24 h. The release kinetics of valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5) followed zero order and the release mechanism was found to be Korsemeyer Peppas model, i.e. swelling type. The dissolution efficiency for valsartan floating tablets was 1190.89% against the marketed formulation of 39.77%. The accelerated stability profile of valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5) was evaluated in terms of drug content and percent cumulative dissolution of valsartan in 24 h, in a 6 months study. In vivo X-ray image study for valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5) indicated the presence of intact tablet up to 12 h in gastric region of rabbit. The biopharmaceutical analysis in rabbits was conducted for valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5). The HPLC method was established and validated for the in vivo analysis. The Cmax was 453.2 ng/mL compared to that of the marketed tablets (522.4 ng/mL). The mean residence time (MRT) for the valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5) was 14.82 h as against 4 h for marketed tablet. The relative bioavailability of valsartan optimized formulation (FT-5) was 650% higher than the marketed tablet. To overcome the poor bioavailability of valsartan, it was suitably modified using hot-melt extrusion for improving therapeutic outcome. In conclusion, gastro-retentive drug delivery system is an excellent approach for improving the bioavailability of valsartan. 

DESIGN AND IN VITRO CHARACTERIZATION OF FLOATING TABLETS OF METRONIDAZOLE

Objective: The objective of the present study was to formulate the effervescent floating matrix tablet of metronidazole and to evaluate the effect of varying concentrations of hydrophilic polymers on drug release.
 Methods: Drug excipients interaction was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer. The effervescent floating matrix tablets were prepared by direct compression technique using hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMCK4) and xanthan gum alone and in combination as release retardants. Microcrystalline cellulose was used as diluent. Sodium bicarbonate was used as effervescent agent. The prepared matrix tablets were evaluated for their physicochemical parameters such as weight variation, hardness, friability, content uniformity, buoyancy time, and in vitro dissolution.
 Results: Micromeritic properties and post-compression parameters were evaluated and all the parameters were found within the acceptable limit. The drug release data were subjected to different models to evaluate release kinetics and mechanism of drug release. The matrix tablets prepared with xanthan gum and a mixture of xanthan gum and HPMCK4 were retarded the drug release up to 12 h. The release mechanism of metronidazole was evaluated on the basis of release exponent n value in Peppas model. The n value of the formulations ranged from 0.46 to 0.89 which indicated Case II transport and zero-order release.
 Conclusion: Floating matrix tablet is the simple, efficient, and economic method to sustain the release of metronidazole to eradicate Helicobacter pylori in peptic ulcer disease.

FORMULATION AND IN VITRO EVALUATION OF MATRIX TABLETS OF METOCLOPRAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE

Objective: The purpose of present study was to formulate oral sustained release matrix tablet of metoclopramide hydrochloride and to evaluate the effect of varying concentrations of hydrophobic and hydrophilic polymers on drug release.
 Methods: Drug–excipients compatibility studies were carried out by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The matrix tablets were prepared by direct compression technique using Xanthan gum and ethyl cellulose alone and in combination as release retardant. Dicalcium phosphate was used as diluent. The prepared matrix tablets were evaluated for their physicochemical parameters such as weight variation, hardness, friability, content uniformity and in vitro drug release studies were performed using USP-type II (paddle) dissolution apparatus.
 Results: Pre and post compression parameters were evaluated and all the parameters were found within the limit. The matrix tablets prepared with xanthan gum and combination of xanthan gum and ethyl cellulose were retarded the drug release upto 12 h. Ethyl cellulose alone could not control the drug release for 12 h. The Formulation with drug to xanthan gum (1:1.5), released 97.62 % of drug in 12 h. The kinetic treatment showed that the release of drug follows zero order kinetics (R 2=0.985). Korsmeyer and Peppas equation values of n were found to be in the range of 0.40-0.56, indicating that the drug release mechanism was diffusion.
 Conclusion: Matrix tablet is the simple, efficient and economic method to sustain the release of metoclopramide to prevent extrapyramidal side effects.

Formulation and Evaluation of Galantamine Hydrobromide Floating Matrix Tablet

The aim of the present work was to prepare floating tablets of galantamine HBr using sodium alginate and xanthan gum as matrix forming carriers. Galantamine HBr is used for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease and various other memory impairments, in particular those of vascular origin. The matrix tablet formulations were prepared by varying the concentrations of sodium alginate and xanthan gum. The tablets were prepared by direct compression technique using PVP K-30 as a binder and sodium bicarbonate for development of CO2. The prepared matrix tablets were evaluated for properties such as hardness, thickness, friability, weight variation, floating lag time, compatibility using DSC and FTIR. In vitro dissolution was carried out for 12 hrs in 0.1N HCl at 37±0.5 ºC using USP paddle type dissolution apparatus. It was noted that, all the prepared formulations had desired floating lag time and constantly floated on dissolution medium by maintaining the matrix integrity. The drug release from prepared tablets was found to vary with varying concentration of the polymers, sodium alginate and xanthan gum. From the study it was concluded that floating drug delivery system for galantamine HBr can be prepared by using sodium alginate and xanthan gum as a carrier.

Controlled drug release behavior of 5-aminosalicylic acid using polyacrylamide grafted oatmeal (OAT-g-PAM): a pH-sensitive drug carrier

In the present investigation, we have evaluated the in vitro drug release of 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA) using polyacrylamide grafted oatmeal (OAT-g-PAM). The graft co-polymer was synthesized by following free radical co-polymerization pathway using acrylamide as a monomer and ceric ammonium nitrate as a free radical initiator in the presence of microwave. The matrix tablet was prepared using the different grades of developed graft co-polymers following standard protocol. In vitro release phenomena of 5-ASA from the prepared matrix tablet up to 12 h in different buffer solution, i.e., pH 2.0, 7.0 and 7.4, an ideal condition for colon specific drug delivery was studied. The release rate of 5-ASA can be controlled efficiently by tuning the pH value. The drug release kinetic of 5-ASA from different matrix tablet was evaluated on the basis of in vitro controlled drug release results. The result indicates that the novel pH-sensitive matrices under study showing Fickian diffusion mechanism and potentially constructive for colonic drug delivery system.

THE ROLE OF MATRIX TABLET IN DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM

Matrix tablet is an important tool for controlled and sustained release dosage forms. The oral route remains the most common route for the administration of drugs. Tablets offer the lowest cost approach to sustained and controlled release dosage forms. The hydrophilic polymer matrix is widely used in this dosage form. The use of different polymers in controlling the release of drugs has become the most important tool in the formulation of matrix tablets. The drug releases by both dissolution-controlled as well as diffusion-controlled mechanisms from the matrix. The development of oral controlled release systems has been a challenge to formulation scientists due to their inability to restrain and localize the system at targeted areas of the gastrointestinal tract. There are several advantages of matrix devices including improved patient compliance due to less frequent drug administration, reduction of fluctuation in steady-state drug levels, maximum utilization of the drug, increased safety margin of a potent drug. This review aims on the discussion of different materials used to prepare matrix tablets, different types of matrix tablets and the drug release mechanism from the matrices.

Formulation Development, In Vitro Evaluation, and Cytotoxic Effect of Flutamide-Loaded Matrix Tablets

Background: Flutamide, a substituted anilide, is a potent antiandrogenic that has been used in the treatment of prostate carcinoma having short biological half-life of 5-6 h; thus it is a good candidate for the formulation of sustained release (SR) dosage form. The present work was focused on the preparation of matrix tablets using various polymers with different ratios. Materials and Methods: Flutamide-loaded solid dispersion was formulated by solvent evaporation, coprecipitation, co-grinding, and fusion techniques using Gelucire 50/13/polyvinylpyrrolidone K30. The developed solid dispersions were characterized for its percentage yield, drug content, morphology, and in vitro release studies. The optimized formulation was developed into an SR matrix tablet using different polymers and ratios. Furthermore, the tablets were evaluated for thickness, hardness, friability, weight variation, content uniformity, and dissolution rate, and the optimized tablet which was subjected to cytotoxic evaluation in pc3 cell lines. Results and Discussion: The obtained solid dispersion has rectangular flaky appearing particles. The dissolution rate profile of physical mixture and flutamide formulation of solid dispersions gets enhanced in comparison with the pure drug. Finally, flutamide-loaded in matrix tablets gives satisfactory pre- and post-characterization results. Conclusion: Cytotoxic evaluation of flutamide-loaded matrix tablets (at concentrations of 62.5-500 μg/ml) illustrates an inhibited growth in the human prostate cancer cell line at a dose-dependent manner.

FLOATING-BIOADHESIVE MATRIX TABLETS OF HYDRALAZINE HCL MADE OF CASHEW GUM AND HPMC K4M

Objective: The objective of this paper was to prepare and evaluate floating-bioadhesive cashew gum-hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC K4M) matrix tablets for the gastro-retentive release of hydralazine HCl.Methods: The cashew gum-HPMC K4M matrix tablets of hydralazine HCl were prepared by direct compression method with the incorporation of sodium bicarbonate and citric acid as effervescent agents. Drug contents, weight variations, hardness, friability, in vitro swelling, in vitro floatation, ex vivo mucoadhesion and in vitro drug release of these matrix tablets were evaluated.Results: Drug contents, weight variations, hardness and friability of these matrix tablets were within the compendia limits. These tablets were floated well in vitro over 12 h in simulated gastric fluid (SGF, pH 1.2) with minimum lag time. The ex vivo adhesion of these matrix tablets with goat intestinal mucosa exhibited good bioadhesion in a wash off test. All these cashew gum-HPMC K4M floating-bioadhesive matrix tablets of hydralazine HCl showed in vitro sustained releases of hydralazine HCl over 12 h in SGF, pH 1.2. The in vitro hydralazine HCl followed Korsmeyer-Peppas kinetic model and anomalous (non-Fickian) diffusion mechanism. The drug-polymer compatibility analysis by FTIR spectroscopy indicated the absence of any drug-polymer interaction within this cashew gum-HPMC K4M floating-bioadhesive matrix tablets of hydralazine HCl.Conclusion: The results clearly indicate a promising potential of the use of cashew gum as matrix forming a material with HPMC K4M to prepare matrix tablets for gastro retentive delivery of hydralazine HCl through the combined approach of floatation and bioadhesion to reduce the dosing rate with better patient compliances.

FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF SYNTHESIZED QUINAZOLINONE DERIVATIVE FOR COLON SPECIFIC DRUG DELIVERY

ABSTRACTObjective: The current research deals with the formulation and evaluation of synthesized quinazolinone derivative for colon site specific delivery.Methods: The synthesized quinazolinone derivative was enteric coated 5% Eudragit L-100 with by wet granulation method using guar gum, pectin,and guar gum pectin combination as hydrophilic polymer. The prepared matrix tablet was characterized by differential scanning calorimetry andevaluated for different pre-compression and post-compression studies and drug release profiles.Results: All the matrix tablets were within the range of pharmacopeial limits with better flow properties. All the six formulations of matrix tablets haddisintegrated within 5-6 minutes. The optimized formulation selected was F6 formulation combination of guar gum and pectin with 95.79% of drugrelease than compared to the remaining formulation. The optimized matrix tablets followed zero order kinetics with Fickian diffusion.Conclusion: The results proposed that the combination of guar gum and pectin coated tablet with 5% Eudragit L-100 of synthesized quinazolinonederivative is a promising colon site specific delivery.Keywords: Quinazolinone derivative, In vitro drug release, Disintegration time, Guar gum, Pectin, 5% Eudragit L-100, Colon site-specific delivery, Wetgranulation, Compression.

Formulation and Evaluation of Israpidine Extended Release Matrix Tablets

The purpose of this study was to formulate and evaluate an efficient Isradipine extended release matrix tablets designed to provide 24 hours drug release profile using varying proportion of hydrophilic polymers viz; Lactose monohydrate and HEC as matrix-forming material. Prepared matrix tablets showed satisfactory physicochemical properties where drug content was 98.24% to 101.06 %, thickness was 3.33 mm to 3.55 mm, hardness was 7.52±0.171 to 8.94±0.285 kg/cm2 , friability was less than 1% and % weight variation was within the standard pharmacopoeial limits of ±7.5% of the weight. Mathematical analysis of the release kinetics of the optimized formulation (F15) was best fitted in zero order kinetics (R2 = 0.9743). The dissolution profiles of formulation F15 and innovator product in multi media were compared in pH 4.5 acetate buffer, pH 6.8 phosphate buffer, 0.1N HCl respectively. The stability data reveals that the F15 showed a negligible change in drug content after storage in various conditions for two months according to ICH guidelines.

Sustained Release Matrix Tablets of Furosemide

Objective: The objective of the present study was to develop and evaluate once-daily sustained release matrix tablets of furosemide using hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose K4M, xanthan gum and sodium alginate as release retarding polymers. Methodology: The matrix tablet formulations were prepared by using different drug: polymer ratios (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 and 1:5). The prepared matrix tablets were evaluated for pre-compression parameters like angle of repose, bulk density, tap density and post-compression parameters like hardness, thickness, weight variation, friability, percent drug content and in vitro drug release studies as per USP guidelines. Results: The in vitro drug release data of all the prepared tablet formulations of furosemide were subjected to goodness of fit test by linear regression analysis according to zeroorder and first-order kinetics. Conclusion: The formulation SF 2 containing drug: sodium alginate ratio of 1:2 offered the required in vitro drug release rate according to the official limits of drug release as per USP and selected as a promising formulation among the fifteen formulations which shows 85% drug release in 12 hrs.
