Science learning that has been studied at school is an activity that has an impact on the low level of literacy-based practicum methods for students. So in this case this condition really requires a change and improvement in the process of implementing science learning, this research aims to find out Practical Method Based on Scientific Literacy in Class VII Science Learning at Swasta Bhayangkari 3 Middle School. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The researcher took all the objects as a sample of 30 class VII students at Swasta Bhayangkari Middle School. The data collection technique was carried out by administering questionnaires and interview responses to students and teachers. The results obtained in this research were that in the first indicator, students who understood the indicator Explaining Phenomena Scientifically obtained 19.94% results, while in the second indicator students who were able to Evaluate and Design Investigations Scientifically obtained 8.60% results and in the third indicator Students who understand interpreting data and evidence scientifically obtain results of 9.28%. In this case, the literacy-based practicum method in the world of education and in learning, both in science and other learning, in this case literacy is a very important thing.
