PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF SPECIALISTS USING SMART-COMPLEXES

Digital technology solutions have become essential for improving the overall practice of professional training. Integrating digital technologies to enhance personalized learning has become a standard way of supporting learners in an increasingly digital world. The introduction of SMART-complexes allows for a comprehensive approach to the problem of vocational education digitalization. It has been established that professional training of specialists using SMART-complexes is deployed at three levels between: students; students and teachers; students and content.

Practice in the system of training the future educator: Opportunities and advantages

Relevance. The article theoretically and innovative substantiates the need to strengthen the practical component in the process of professional training of the future teachers of Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav; the features of pedagogical practice organization are covered; the attention is paid to the importance and consistency of pedagogical practices; the advantages and disadvantages in organization and carrying out of the educational practice in secondary educational institutions are identified; the role of methodical and practical training support by the executives of pedagogical practice is revealed.Purpose. Purpose of the article is to investigate and test the effectiveness of the future teacher�s competent professional practical training in the course of educational-productive practice in secondary schools. To substantiate the possibilities of organizing pedagogical practice through building of an individual trajectory for the development of a future teacher.Methodology. Used for research methods theoretical: analysis, generalization, comparison; empirical: observation, studying of the products of students� activity, questionnaires, conversations, interviews, discussion, testing, pedagogical prognostication, pedagogical experiment for revealing the results of experimental work; methods of mathematical statistics.Results. The findings reveal that structured pedagogical practices contribute significantly to the professional growth of future teachers, enhancing their motivational, value-oriented, practical, communicative, and creative competencies. The study confirms that a well-organized practice setting supports the theoretical knowledge with practical skills, facilitating a deeper understanding and application of educational concepts.Conclusions. The study concludes that pedagogical practices are crucial for the holistic development of future teachers, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge practically and creatively in educational settings. The structured approach used in organizing these practices ensures the effective development of necessary professional competencies, affirming the relevance of practical training in teacher education programs.

Evaluation of Sustainability of Czech Vocational Education and Practical Training for the Position of Construction Manager

Current requirements of employers in the construction industry are aimed at strengthening the link between schools and the manufacturing sector. It is desirable that the students are during their studies already involved in the investment construction process, at least as part-time workers. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Brno, Czech Republic, this is being ensured by the accredited course Professional Practical Training. The aim of this contribution is to evaluate and analyze the inclusion of this student internship as a mandatory part of the study to present how many students worked for which construction companies during a period of 10 years, indicating the number of successfully completed internships for individual academic years. At the same time, the boundary conditions for this practice are described. The hypothesis to be confirmed is that the conditions are set in such a way as to be a prerequisite for successful fulfillment. Descriptive statistics are based on a sample of 92 employers involved in the system of securing professional practices for the period 2010 to 2020. The analysis showed that each year about 70–75% of students stay with the same company for their further part-time work during the remainder of their studies, and they may also stay for subsequent graduate employment. A total of 507 students started and finished their internship. Moreover, in the following years of practice, some of the graduates of the field became responsible for the tutoring of other student’s work experience on the construction site. Having previously gone through the same educational scheme, it allows them to lead and evaluate students with an optimal degree of constructive criticism.

Professional Development of Future Primary School Teachers: Enhancement of Scientific Research Activities

The article outlines the theoretical essence of the “students’ research activity” concept, detailing its content and fundamental methodological principles for application in a higher education institution. Innovative approaches to engaging students in research projects are introduced. The author substantiates the distinctive features and forms of cultivating future primary school teachers’ professional skills through research activities (students’ work as part of national or international grants; scientific societies, workshops, seminars (webinars), leading scientific schools; participation in scientific conferences – online or offline, research competitions, Olympiads, exhibitions, forums; participation in student scientific mobility programs, non-formal education). The importance of involving future professionals in research in the community of a city or region is emphasized, as well as stimulating them with scholarship funds and programs. The findings of the study of the state of this problem in the practice of professional training of students of the Faculty of Pedagogy are presented, including, the outcomes from the survey aimed at identifying the dynamics of the level of interest of future educators in research engagement during their 4 years of study at the university. The emphasis is placed on the importance of individualizing students' research work, increasing their motivation, intellectual culture, critical thinking, and creativity, as well as actively engaging them in national and international scientific events, and focusing on interdisciplinarity in scientific project work.

Conceptual component of health-preserving activities of Physical Culture and Sports specialists

One of the main tasks of the modern policy of Ukraine is to preserve health of the population, to form needs, motives and values for a health-preserving lifestyle, a conscious attitude to the problems of health and life safety, especially under conditions of martial law. The health-preserving activities of Physical Culture and Sports specialists in preschool education institutions, general secondary education institutions, and higher education institutions should aim to create a health-preserving educational environment for the participants of the educational process, which requires the modernization of the training process intended for future specialists (junior specialists, bachelors, masters) in Physical Culture and Sports in institutions of higher education as well as directing it to the development of a personality capable of creatively, rationally and professionally performing the role of a coordinator, an organizer and a manager of Physical Education, Sports alongside the formation of participants’ healthy lifestyle within the educational process in an educational institution. At the current stage of the development of Physical Culture and Sports, contradictions can be seen between the demand of the European community and our society for the level of readiness of specialists in Physical Culture and Sports; between the focus on the professional activity of Physical Culture and Sports specialists and specialized types of training, as well as the technological content of the training process aimed at future specialists. Research methods: logical methods, systematic analysis of scientific (philosophical, pedagogical, special) literature on health-preserving activities of Physical Culture and Sports specialists. It was determined that the conceptual apparatus eliminates different understanding and interpretation of professional terms during communication between the participants of the educational process. The theoretical provisions contained in the scientific research deepen the conceptual understanding of the methodology of improving the training in the field of Physical Culture and Sports and health education, create conditions for scientific assurance of the professional training aimed at future specialists in Physical Culture and Sports. The main key concepts of health-preserving activities of Physical Culture and Sports specialists have been revealed and clarified. New formulations of the concepts “health-preserving activities of Physical Culture and Sports specialists” are provided, such as: Physical Culture teacher; physical culture of the individual; the concept "health" for children and adolescents; health care; health care professional activity; health-preserving educational environment of a higher education institution; the concept of physical culture, physical culture as a process has been clarified; Physical Education; pedagogical activity; health; health promotion; biological basis of health; the value of health; axiological (value-oriented) approach; health care activities in a higher educational institution; health-preserving educational space. The research results can be used in the practice of professional training aimed at future specialists of Physical Culture involving health-preserving activities with students of educational institutions, the system of postgraduate training and in the process of developing programs, educational and methodological aids on the problems related to Physical Culture and Sports in the direction of a healthy lifestyle and health preservation.

Research on the construction and effect evaluation of OMO mode of professional practical training teaching of landscape engineering technology based on virtual simulation technology

Abstract Under the Internet+ information era background, the barriers between traditional and modern education are melting away. This paper takes the OMO teaching mode as the entry point and constructs the design of professional practical training teaching of landscape engineering technology based on virtual simulation technology analysis of the OMO teaching mode. While drawing on the OMO teaching mode, it combines the system posture detection and binocular vision position-solving technology in virtual simulation to build a cyclic development system of OMO mode and professional practical teaching of landscape engineering technology and promote the deep integration of the two. The experimental results show that through 18 weeks of comparison between the OMO teaching mode based on virtual simulation technology and the traditional teaching mode of practical teaching, it is found that the average scores of students are 84.31 and 77.41, respectively, with an effective increase of 10% in performance. Regarding student participation, the OMO teaching mode based on virtual simulation technology mainly focuses on the 68-82 range, effectively stimulating students’ enthusiasm. The OMO teaching mode based on virtual simulation technology proposed in this paper can effectively improve the current problems of traditional teachings, such as resources without rules and regulations, poor correlation, and one-sided evaluation methods, to more effectively cultivate students’ independent learning ability and improve their vocational skills.

O ensino na graduação em saúde coletiva: o que dizem os projetos pedagógicos

To standardize the teaching curriculum, the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Undergraduate Course in Public Health (DCNsCGSC) were set up in 2017. A qualitative and exploratory study with a documental approach was conducted, using the content analysis method, to analyze teaching in undergraduate courses in Public Health in Brazil in the light of Pedagogical Projects. After analysis of 22 projects, it was observed that the majority of the courses (31.8%) complied with the DCNsCGSC in terms of total workload, internship, final paper, and complementary activities. The term "bachelor's degree in public health" is the main denomination (77.3%). Most courses are in the northern region (27%) and federal institutions (68.5%). In terms of teaching, 274 mentions of mandatory components were identified with the term of reference of the subareas of Public Health. Of these, the areas of health policies, planning, and management represent 66.42% (182) of the components and the social and human sciences in health 9.5% (26). The study elucidated how undergraduate teaching is carried out, adding reflections on the convergence of DCNsCGSC. In addition, it revealed possible gaps in the teaching content necessary for training for professional practice, especially for the consolidation of the Unified Health System.

Psychological analysis of prospective studies of continuous pedagogic education within the framework of the convergence principle: traditions and innovations

Introduction. Currently, due to rapidly changing economic, political and social conditions, the requirements for training teachers are constantly increasing, the purpose of studying at the university is to increase not only the attention to the personal and professional development among young specialists, but also to students’general culture and erudition. The study is aimed at conducting a psychological analysis, synthesis and generalization of the most promising research results for converging the traditions and innovations in modern and future pedagogic education, as well as on the basis of the results obtained, developing innovative practices of students’ psychological training at the target, content, technological, organizational and strategic levels. Materials and methods of research. The methodological tools of the research contain the analysis of scientific literature devoted to the research of modern domestic continuous pedagogical education, the study, systematization and conceptualization of scientific works of scientists and practitioners of Russia and CIS countries (2020-2022). In addition, the package of methodological materials contains developments that make it possible to clarify the need to create an innovative (systemic personality-developing) approach to the practice of training future teachers. The analysis of the research presented mainly in the monograph "Teacher in the context of personal and professional development: reality and prospects" (2020-2022) and the collection of scientific articles "Strategies and resources of personal and professional development of a teacher: modern reading and systematic practice" (2020-2022). Results. Based on the analysis of scientific works and research conducted by us, an innovative (systemic personality-developing) approach in pedagogical education was developed, aimed at professional and personal growth not only of a single teacher, but also the development of all subjects of the educational system. It is based on the unity of principles, goals, content and forms of organization of the pedagogical process. Conclusion. New practice of professional training of future teachers is based on a unified strategy for planning personal and professional development as well as innovative psychological technology of professional development among future teachers, based on the continuity of cultural traditions and scientific technologies implemented in developing educational programs. SIGNIFICADOS E AÇÕES FRENTE À AUTOMUTILAÇÃO NO CONTEXTO EDUCACIONAL BRASILEIRO: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

ABSTRACT In this article we sought to describe how self-mutilation is understood by educational institutions and what are the actions taken in the face of the phenomenon, based on a systematic literature review. Searching the BVS Portal, SciELO and the Capes Theses Catalog, using the index terms self-mutilation, self-injury, self-injurious behavior and self-destructive behavior, 20 documents were selected and submitted to content analysis. It was identified that the studies are recent, predominantly qualitative, influenced by Behavior Analysis and Psychoanalysis, and developed with adolescents from public schools. Self-mutilation was understood as resulting from physiological conditions, way of giving meaning to suffering, result of social contagion, communication attempt, manifestation of suicidal ideation and behavior of individuals with atypical development. There are few reports of intervention in the face of the problem, covering clinical, preventive and professional training practices. The need to implement interventions in schools, based on social and collective understandings of self-mutilation, is highlighted.

Nurse autonomy expressed in Portuguese and Brazilian professional legislation: a documentary study (1986-2022).

To analyze the convergence of nurse's autonomy expressed in Brazilian and Portuguese professional practice legislation. Qualitative, social-historical documentary study on the normalization of Brazilian and Portuguese professional standards for nursing practice, materials socialized in the digital collection of the profession's organizational and disciplinary entities. Qualitative analysis from the perspective of Eliot Freidson's sociology of professions. Ten standards were analyzed, five from each country, which establish legislation for the nurses' professional practice. The following categories emerged: autonomy of knowledge and specific competence of the profession, in the ethical limits of the multi-professional relationship and in the disciplining of training for professional practice. The professional autonomy under analysis implies providing access to services and to multi-professionality for the availability of health to society.

ANALYSIS OF THE WORLD'S BEST PRACTICES IN TRAINING PHARMACISTS FOR PROVIDING MENTAL HEALTH CARE TO PATIENTS.

The article analyzes and systematizes international documents and research results, which reveal the experience of implementing the best practices in mental health into the educational process of training pharmacists at various levels of education. Available foreign educational programs were analyzed in terms of their form and content. According to the results of the research, it was found out that the practice of professional training of pharmacists on mental health issues is quite widespread at the world level and is presented in various scientific publications. The results of their analysis also indicate different forms of training process organization.

Professional Tranining Practice Assistance Ship for Students of Islamic Education Management Study Program at Madrasahs

Professional training practice is one of the student activities to apply the knowledge gained while attending lectures to the world of work and as a place to gain experience about the introduction of employment. Many students experience problems while participating in professional training practice activities, including; less able to adapt to the madrasa environment, students are less active and creative because they often wait for assignments given by tutors, students are focused on the culture of madrasa administrative services, and are less open to accompanying lecturers for discussions. The purpose of this dedication in the form of assistance is to support the smooth implementation of professional training practice activities for students of the Islamic Education Management study program STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh. The results of this dedication concluded that mentoring can increase student activity, creativity, ability, motivation and self-confidence so that the activities carried out by students while participating in professional training practices at madrasas are more focused.

Building Time Management Skills through the Teaching Practice Activity

Taking into account that time goes by very quickly and the efficiency of an activity depends on how time is used, the purpose of this study is to highlight the formation of students’ ability to properly organize their time through activities related to the design and conduct of teaching practice lessons. The current study is based on the responses given by 181 male and female students aged 21-30 years who were engaged in the organization and conduct of lessons within the professional training practice in school units under the guidance of coordinating teachers. Study participants completed, at the end of the teaching practice that took place between 1.10.2020 and 30.01.2021, a questionnaire where they presented information about how they had organized their time in conducting lessons. The research students attend professional training programs for physical education teachers, physiotherapy, and sports performance carried out in three university centers (“Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău, National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest, and University of Pitești). The questionnaire included 20 closed-ended questions. The conclusions highlight that during the teaching practice, due to the responsibilities derived from achieving the themes and operational objectives of the lessons, students have become aware of both the passage of time and the importance of making good use of it, which was accompanied by the formation of their time management skills.

Translanguaging genre pedagogy: implications for teaching business communication in the Greater Bay Area

The present paper discusses how insights from translanguaging theory and pedagogy can help inform and promote genre pedagogy for teaching business communication courses such as writing and translation. To this end, the first part traces and reviews the developments of genre theory and pedagogy in tandem with translanguaging theory and pedagogy, thus teasing out their similarities and differences in historical roots, core premises, theoretical frameworks, and research methodologies. In light of these integrated accounts, the second part of the paper proposes a genre-based pedagogical framework augmented with key tenets and general principles of translanguaging pedagogy to design and implement task activities and classroom practice in teaching business communication courses in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). The paper then outlines perceivable advantages and potential challenges to the application of this translanguaging-informed genre-based pedagogical approach in curriculum design and professional training practice in superdiverse megapolis regions such as the GBA.

Teacher Professional Practical Training Module for Teachers Assistant in Guiding Practice Students in Managing Learning

The ability to accompany teachers in guiding student practitioners that is less than optimal causes a decrease in the quality of learning management. Lack of understanding and awareness of managing learning in terms of learning practices must receive serious attention, provide instruments in clear modules or guidelines, and post-implementation evaluations. This study aims to develop a teacher's professional practice training module for teacher assistants to guide students' practice in managing to learn. The type of model and design used is research and development by combining the Rowntree, Borg, and Gall models. The study subjects were assistant teachers at the Early Childhood Education Unit and Elementary School, totaling 40 people. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative analysis and statistical inferential. The results of the study were the results of the assessment by material experts (93.64%), design experts (88.57%), and media experts (86.75%), who stated that the teacher training professional practice module developed was feasible to use. The results of individual and group trials of 30 respondents also experienced an increase, with a free test score of 76.33% and a post-test score of 84.37%. These results indicate an increase in the ability to guide teachers accompanying students with learning outcomes of 8.04, so the teaching professional practice training module for accompanying teachers is feasible and effective.

Fractal Theory and Its Financial Applications for Improving the Quality of Professional Training at The Higher School of Economics

The article presents the didactic potential of modern fractal theory and its financial applications related to modeling and forecasting of financial performance. The purpose of the study is to identify the main content and methodological features of the disclosure of fractal theory and its financial applications in the practice of professional training of students of economic universities. The results of the analysis of popular science and scientific literature on fractal theory and its applications allowed us to clarify its didactic potential in the system of higher economic education. The use of elements of the technological approach at the Higher School of Economics made it possible to construct the educational process on fractal theory and its financial applications in the form of a system of micro-goals of the basic level, which serves as a guideline for organizing and planning the results of educational and cognitive activity of students of the Bachelor of Economics. Involvement of various techniques and methods of the theory of pedagogical technologies based on the establishment and study of the laws of the educational process as the results of scientific knowledge of the process of human education, as well as financial faculties of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation as the basis of experimental work allowed to identify the attitude of students to fractal theory and its applications, to conduct primary testing of fractal theory as a new element of the content of mathematical training, as well as directions for improving the educational process in applied mathematical disciplines. Special attention is paid to the mechanisms of development of students’ competencies in the field of decision-making in conditions of risk and uncertainty, a meaningful choice of methods for studying financial situations that require optimal decisions. A system of micro-goals of the basic level is presented, consisting of thirteen micro-goals and allowing a teacher of mathematical disciplines to design invariant content in the field of fractal theory and its applications for higher economic school. Attention is also focused on the need to update the methodological work of teachers of mathematical disciplines on the design and construction of the educational process. Including the base level set by the system of micro-goals presented in this article, which regulates the educational process in the language of educational and cognitive activity of a student of an economic bachelor’s degree. It is noted that the complex transformations taking place in modern society affect various aspects of social, financial and economic relations, increase the requirements for the methodological, design and technological culture of a teacher of mathematical disciplines. The prospects of the study include the development of criteria for the selection of digital tools to support fractal theory and its financial applications as an element of the content of professional training, as well as the development and subsequent implementation of a program of additional professional education on alternative approaches to decision-making in the financial sector. The content of the article can be useful for the implementation of applied, professional strengthening of the teaching of compulsory mathematical disciplines for students studying in the direction of “Economics” of various directions (Mathematical methods in economics, World Economy, Finance and Credit, etc.), and for the formulation of new academic disciplines of students’ choice, as well as improving the content of programs of additional professional education related to the quantitative justification of decisions.

Servant Leadership in Nursing Students: Changing to the New Era

The global pandemic of COVID-19 has resulted in changes in the health service system requiring reliance on new work methods, new cognitive processes and new behavior. Nurses take on key caregiving roles in caring for the entire global population. And in a decade of changes in health services, servant leadership is considered an increasingly important leadership role for nurses. This study aimed to explore servant leadership characteristics among nursing students in this new era. A qualitative thematic analysis of interviews was used to evaluate the key aspects of servant leadership characteristics of nursing students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven subject matter experts from January 2022 to March 2022 in Thailand. Data were analyzed manually using thematic analysis. All seven nursing experts offered the same opinion that the characteristics of servant leadership of nursing students in the new era consisted of seven main characteristics. Nurses should have a nursing mindset expressing personal humbleness with knowledge and nursing practice based on a foundation of professional ethics that make them credible and trustworthy, empowering service recipients as people with far-reaching vision and foresight. Servant leadership is the core of nursing students in the new era, so professors and instructors should foster servant leadership in nursing students in combination with professional practical training to prepare nursing personnel with competence to keep up with changes.

Mediators’ Skills for Trust Building Inventory. A Psychometric Networks Approach

Trust building depends both on therapeutic alliance construction and the quality of the intervention. Although trust-building has received much attention in the literature, there are hardly any validated tools to assess it. In order to cover this gap, the main goal of this work is to present a psychometric inventory for measuring both the skills for building a therapeutic alliance and the skills for intervention through a mediation process. 170 subjects, mediators and clients, voluntarily participated in the validation study. An advanced approach by means of psychometric networks was used to estimate and test the two-factor hypothesized model: 1) Skills for building a therapeutic alliance, and 2) Skills for the intervention in the mediation process. An Exploratory Graph Analysis (EGA) with the Triangulated Maximally Filtered Graph (TMFG) was implemented for estimating the inventory latent network with all items. Further bootstrapping techniques were used for assessing the latent structure stability. A Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) over the best fitted EGA model was applied with a robust estimator (WLSMV). Reliability analyses for the best-fitted model were also implemented. Results indicated a stable and well-fitted two-factor latent network model, which was also confirmed by CFA: (2scaled = 216.84, df = 169, p = .008, RMSEA = .039, CFI = .986, TLI = .984). All reliability indices for the two-factor model obtained adequate values (above .80) and all items provided adequate psychometric behavior. This new inventory can be useful for developing improvement professional practice training programs, and also for enriching mediation-related higher education curricula.

ПЕДАГОГІЧНІ АСПЕКТИ ВИКОРИСТАННЯ СУЧАСНОГО СПОРТИВНОГО ОБЛАДНАННЯ ДЛЯ СТУДЕНТОК 17–20 РОКІВ

The theory and practice of professional training at higher educational institutions as a pedagogical problem is closely linked to social and economic development in society, which is now the focus of many professionals from around the world. This is due to the fact that students are the future of the country. Physical education provides a unique and varied medium for learning. It develops students physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, aesthetically, and creatively. It promotes the overall development of each student as a whole person. Physical education fosters diversity of skills and learning; it fosters practical use of these skills in different situations, and it fosters individual as well as group creativity in the use of these skills. Physical education encourages individual as well as team development. It encompasses a broad range of human feelings, emotion, and experiences. Students become increasingly more independent as their daily lives become more complex and diversified. Students begin to make decisions and choices in taking increased responsibility for themselves. Quality physical education programs provide students conceptual and practical understanding of: 1) health-related physical fitness, and 2) how to maintain a health-related level of physical fitness. Physical education plays a vital part in helping students maintain and refine the skills and knowledge needed to select physical activities to use throughout their lives. The paper demonstrates a new way for modernization of physical education system for 17–20 year-old girls with the use of groove machines in the gym. Groove machines typically emphasize the development of specific muscle groups. Muscle groups can be isolated, muscle imbalances can be corrected, and weak areas can be strengthened. Groove machines are sometimes more suited to strengthen muscles that are more difficult to target with free weights, such as the lats and hip ab/adductors. Limitations lie in the coordination of muscle groups for sports. In the process of method development we have kept all educational themes, hours and lesson structure, but have divided semesters into complexes. For more effective mastering of the learning material we have added new themes to the theoretical base. The chosen training methods must be coordinated with all other training to produce optimal competitive performance. The method of strength skills development has been elaborated. In addition, position requirements and individual differences further define the goals of the strength training program. The positive influence of this methodology on students’ level of physical training has been demonstrated.

THE SYSTEM OF TRAINING AND ADVANCED TRAINING OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS PERSONNEL OF PENZA REGION IN THE 1960s

The article examines the practice of professional training and professional development of physical culture and sports personnel in the USSR at the regional level – in Penza region in the 1960s.
 
 The issue of organizing training and improving the training level of employees in the field of physical culture and sports in Penza region has not been studied sufficiently and requires in-depth research.
 
 During the study period, Penza region lacked competent and experienced managers of physical culture and sports work, coaches, instructors and judges for the mass development of physical culture and sports.
 
 The All-Russian Council of Sports Societies and Organizations Union and Penza Regional Council of the Sports Union repeatedly considered this issue, recommended to intensify the work in this field and proposed a set of measures to normalize the staff composition of the physical culture and sports movement in the region.
 
 The main problem was the lack of higher and secondary vocational education; the number of full-time physical education workers with specialized training in the designated chronological framework did not exceed 63%.
 
 The Faculty of Physical Education of Penza State Pedagogical Institute named after V.G. Belinsky was the “source of manpower” of personnel for the physical culture and sports movement in the region. The administrators of the Pedagogical Institute sought to enroll local youth to the faculty, preferably athletes, by recommendations of educational institutions, regional sports unions, Komsomol organizations.
 
 Penza Union of Sports Societies and Organizations, together with the party and Komsomol bodies, carried out systematic activities in this direction, using various forms of work – seminars, courses, meetings, etc. The regional Council practiced visits of its employees to the towns and districts of the region to assist in organizing training of instructors, judges, etc. Former athletes worked as coaches for free.
 
 For the heads of physical culture and sports structures, refresher courses were constantly held at the Republican training and sports base and seminars of the Sports Union in Moscow. The regional sports union believed that the quality of the coaches’ work was negatively affected by their employment in several places.
