Building bonds for sustainable growth: social capital and networking in Indonesian tourism development

This research aims to identify and analyze the utilization of social capital in developing tourist attractions and networking in Kampar Regency. This study focuses on two potential tourist attractions owned by Kampar Regency, namely the Pulau Cinta tourist attraction and the Ulu Kasok views. The research design used is qualitative interpretative; in collecting information, primary data was obtained through observation and in-depth interviews. The interview results were entered into the Nvivo 12 Plus data processing application for coding and then analyzed using graphs and crosstab. The triangulation technique was used to obtain valid and credible results. The research findings show that the identified social capital in developing tourist attractions in Ulu Kasok and Pulau Cinta are networks built online and offline. First, tourist attraction organized online and offline promotions to attract visitors, but the improvement of the online platform requires further enhancement. Second, communication with stakeholders and the local community necessary to improve. Third, trust building between tourism destinations organizer and the local community enables tourist attractions to develop, and the fourth is Information openness about tourism destinations. The contribution of this research suggests maximum efforts in utilizing social capital in developing sustainable tourism destinations, through strengthening social networks, building trust, and enhancing communication among stakeholders and local communities.

Strategi Pengelolaan Lanskap Wisata di Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan Jakarta

Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village (PBBSB) is a built landscape to save and maintain Betawi cultural traditions, including religion, culture, and Betawi arts with a community. It is fostered by the culture which includes all the results of ideas and works, both physical and non-physical, such as art, customs, folklore, literature, culinary, clothing, and architecture that are characterized by Betawi. PBBSB is an area designated by the government as a sustainable Betawi cultural preservation area with diverse tourism potential. This research aimed to map the existing conditions, inventory the potential tourist attractions, to calculate the carrying capacity, and to develop a management strategy for the PBBSB area. The research method used descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis, carrying capacity assessment, and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study, the existing condition of the PBBSB area still remained to facilitate the activities that take place in this area, obtained several types of tourism that can attract the attention of visitors to the PBBSB area to realize and learn more about Betawi culture, the value obtained the carrying capacity of PCC > RCC > ECC = 22,923 > 4,031 > 3,084. This value indicates that the current carrying capacity of the PBBSB allows the area to move towards the sustainability of the Betawi cultural preservation area. More over several regional management strategies can be used to preserve the area of Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village.

PEMANFAATAN POTENSI WISATA DESA DAN BENDA CAGAR BUDAYA SEBAGAI OUT BOUND PEMBELAJARAN IPS DAN ECOTOURIME DI KABUPATEN BIMA

The village of Bumi Pajo has several attractions that can be developed as targets for outbound activities and ecotourism, such as cultural heritage sites (WaduTunti/Inscription sites), ancient graves, Oli Kaleli waterfall, fruit orchards, and its characteristic location in highlands/summits. Due to the presence of cultural heritage sites/objects, the village can be utilized as a location for outbound Social Studies learning. The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) Identifying and gathering all potential tourism attractions in Bumi Pajo village; 2) Describing and analyzing efforts to utilize sites and natural environments as outbound Social Studies learning resources; 3) Conceptualizing the village's tourism potential as ecotourism attractions. This research employs a qualitative method with a pure descriptive approach or survey research. Based on the research findings, the village's tourism potential has a positive impact on improving the welfare of local communities and preserving cultural heritage. Tourism potentials such as the Wadu Tunti inscription site, Oi Kaleli waterfall, and fruit orchards in Bumi Pajo village can be used as locations for outbound Social Studies learning and also tourist attractions, which can be managed and utilized for educational purposes, enhancing the welfare of local communities, especially in the economic sector. To optimize this potential, it is necessary to encourage active participation from the local community in managing and preserving the natural environment and cultural heritage sites

Coffee Agro-Technopark Development Strategy in Tabanan Regency to Strengthen Agriculture and Tourism Synergism

Tabanan Regency has various superior agricultural commodities, including coffee plantations and potential tourist attractions. Tabanan’s agriculture and tourism sectors have not been fully exploited, so the two have not yet run synergistically. Planning for an agro-technopark (ATP) is expected to create a production area based on agricultural technology, livestock and natural beauty. The ATP will leverage the potential of upstream and downstream agribusiness, infrastructure, and supporting services in coffee production, processing, and marketing. The research objective was to identify the sub-system of input, process, output, and development strategy of coffee ATP in Munduk Temu, Tabanan Regency. Data collection was carried out in two stages: secondary data collection with document study methods and primary data collection in the field using observation and interview methods. Data were analyzed using SWOT and strategic priority determination using Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis. The results showed that coffee cultivation with an integrated system supporting coffee ATP in Muduk Temu Tabanan fulfills input, process, and output requirements. Still, the quantity and quality of each sub-system need to be improved. The strategic position of coffee ATP development is in quadrant I (SO Strategy). Strategic priorities with the highest TAS value: 1) implementing technological innovations for managing pre-harvest and post-harvest Robusta coffee to support product diversification (st5 = TAS 6.94); 2) Policies from the local government in regulation and providing assistance to Subak Abian in supporting the development of ATP Coffee (st1= TAS 6.87); 3) Implementing crop-livestock integration to optimize resource potential (st3=TAS 6.86); 4) Implementing research results and studies based on superior products (st.4 = TAS 6.62). It is necessary to strengthen the institutional synergy between Village Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) managers, Subak Abian, and tourism stakeholders in improving the agricultural sector in synergy with the tourism sector.

Access to tourist attraction locations is still unknown to many people around Pekanbaru City. For this reason, a map of tourist attraction locations is needed to make it easier for visitors to access tourist locations. Before a tourist map is created, it is necessary to identify potential tourist attractions in Semut Island.</em> <em>This activity aims to help partners identify the potential of the Semut Island tourist attraction. The method used is the discussion and mentoring method. As a result, partners were able to identify the potential of the Semut Island tourist attraction and were able to form a grand design for the Semut Island tourist attraction.</em></p>

Exploration of The Potential of Suwangi Tourism Village Through Swot Analysis in East Lombok Regency, Indonesia

Suwangi Village is one of the villages located in Sakra District, East Lombok Regency. Suwangi Village is trying to pioneer a tourism village through natural, cultural, artificial, and special interest tourism. Therefore, to develop the potential of Suwangi village, a strategy is needed to make a tourism village that can continue to grow and attract the attention of tourists to visit. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and uses Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat Analysis so that the strengths and weaknesses of the village can be recognized and to see the opportunities and threats faced to pioneer Suwangi Village into a tourist village. Based on the results obtained, several aspects that become the strength of Suwangi village's tourist attraction include natural beauty that is still natural, a fairly large area, has relics that are considered sacred and preserved until now. In addition, public awareness and understanding of the management and development of tourist destinations is still limited, becoming a weakness of the management of this tourist village. It can also be known opportunities and threats such as natural disasters, public perceptions that have not been educated about tourism tend to think negatively to be an obstacle to tourism development, and security is still not good. Although it still has some shortcomings, the potential tourist attraction of Suwangi village is quite adequate as a competitive tourist village.

The Ways to Promote Wellness Tourism in Muang District, Chachoengsao Province

Purposes: There were many people travel for rest and relaxation, while a significant number of people also arrive in Thailand to address a medical need of varying urgency. Wellness tourism sits somewhere in between those two drivers of travel. It other locations, wellness tourism is often seen in the form of destination spas. This research aims to study wellness tourism in Muang district, Chachoengsao province, to study the government policy and support wellness tourism in Muang district, Chachoengsao province, and to study all private businesses which provide wellness tourism in Muang district, Chachoengsao province to increase the number of tourists and revenue to all businesses. Theoretical Referential: The research based on the definition of tourism, the 5 components of tourism (5As) which are attraction, accessibility, amenity, accomodation, the environment of tourist attrations. The composition of the potential tourist attractions, the image of tourist attractions, SWOT analysis and TOWS Matrix, and Health and Wellness Tourism which represented the government policy cooperated with private businesses and satisfy the needs of wellness touirsts around the world. Methodology: This research is a mixed methods: Quantitative and Qualitative research. Researcher used questionaire as a tool for quantitative research by accidental sampling 400 Thai tourists and 100 foreign tourists, 5 managers at least 5 years experinced in tour operators business and 10 tour operators staffs, 5 managers and 5 hotel staffs in hotel accomodation business, and 5 managers and 5 staffs of related service provider business. Qualitative research used interview as a tool by purposive sampling 5 heads of community in Muang district, a supervisor of Tourism Authority of Thailand and 1 staff, a director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chachoengsao province, and a director of tourism and sport, Chachoengsao office. Findings: The findings a of this research were as the follows: Firstly, there are 2 main types of wellness tourism in Muang district, Chachachoengsao province which is physical and spiritual. For the physical wellness tourism is aromatherapy, healthy food, massage, and spa; the spiritual wellness tourism is monk’s chat and meditation in the temple which can relieve their tension and mind. Secondly, the government policy support both physical and spiritual wellness tourism, and the 5’A of factors represent the essential requirements of successful tourism: Attractions (x̅ = 4.33), Access (x̅ = 4.52), Accommodation (x̅ = 4.37), Amenities (x̅ = 4.23), and Activities (x̅ = 4.63) were very well to serve all tourists. Lastly. all tourists want to come for their relaxation and get the healthy both physical wellness which increasing the number of tourists and revenue to the businesses. SWOT and TOWS matrix also supported the strengths and opportuinties which challege the growth of wellness tourism of the province. Value: These results served the need of many people travel for resting and relaxation, while a significant number of people also arrive in Thailand to address a medical need of varying urgency and wellness. Wellness tourism sits somewhere in between those two drivers of travel. Wellness tourism in Chachoengsao province not only challenge all of the top ten destinations because most of the resorts and hotels provide the wellness service in lower cost and the distance of travel from Bangkok is also very short distance but also can become the new wellness destination both physical and spiritual in Thailand.

purpose of the research is to describe and assess the potential tourist attraction, mapping the potential of attractions, and obstacles in developing tourist objects in the City Semarang. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive triangulation of data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and scoring method to determine the potential of attractions.The result of the research shows that the tourism object based on artificial tourism has an advantage compared to nature tourism and cultural tourism. Constraints of synergy between the government, stake holders and Public. The tourism potential that currently exists has not been evenly distributed by the government's role in places tourist attractions as a whole and the community lacks a sense of tourism awareness.The conclusion of the research is the potential of Semarang Regency tourism object natural tourism base, cultural tourism, and artificial tourism. Where artificial base tourist attractions have higher potential, which will later become the leading tourist base in Semarang Regency. High potential tourism objects in Semarang Regency include Bandungan Subdistrict (Candi Gedong Songo), Bawen District (Hortimart Agro Center).Constraints have not been completely involve or not involved the role of the government as a whole and the community lack of awareness of travel. Suggestions should attractions in the city of Semarang be develop, tourism awareness education needs to be held in the community.

The purpose of this study is to know the potential in the palembang city musi river seen from attractions, amenities and accessibility to can increase the number of tourist visits. Research methods to be used in this study will use qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Using the type of case study, it aims to provide a description of the potential tourist attraction of the musi river. The results and conclusions of this study that the potential of the musi river has given a high opportunity to develop as a tourist attraction. And currently includes the preeminent tourist destination held by the city of palembang. The potential that can support such development as its good cultural and environmental presence can add to the richness of local cultural objects and attractions.

A Greener Claver: A Qualitative Study of Green Marketing Strategies for Sustainable Tourism Industry

Sustainable tourism development has gained global momentum, contributing to economic growth and cultural exchange. However, this growth has led to environmental degradation and socio-cultural impacts, necessitating the adoption of sustainable practices. While extensive research acknowledges the importance of sustainability in the tourism industry, a gap remains in understanding the practical implementation of green marketing strategies in specific contexts. This study seeks to address this gap by examining the application of green marketing strategies in Claver's sustainable tourism industry in the Philippines—a region known for its mining activities. The central objective of this research is to comprehend and evaluate the effectiveness of green marketing tactics in promoting sustainable tourism practices within Claver's unique context. Employing a combination of focus group discussions (FGDs) and semi-structured interviews, the study delves into key stakeholders' perspectives, challenges, opportunities, and strategies for incorporating green marketing principles into Claver's tourism sector. The study's findings illuminate a diverse landscape of stakeholders, each possessing distinct expertise, experiences, and viewpoints. These stakeholders include local businesses, community members, government officials, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and proponents of community-based tourism. The analysis unveils Claver's operational and potential tourist attractions, underscoring the region's untapped potential for ecotourism and cultural immersion. Furthermore, a SWOC analysis reveals the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges inherent in Claver's tourism sector, providing valuable insights for formulating targeted green marketing strategies. The identified green marketing strategies encompass a spectrum of initiatives aimed at capitalizing on strengths, addressing weaknesses, leveraging opportunities, and tackling challenges. These strategies underscore the enhancement of Claver's image by showcasing its scenic beauty, fostering collaborations with local businesses, and promoting guided tourism experiences. Additionally, the study emphasizes the significance of addressing obstacles such as negative perceptions stemming from mining activities, waste management issues, and remote accessibility challenges. This research highlights the potential of green marketing strategies to advance sustainable tourism practices in Claver. By aligning tourism development with ecological and community well-being, green marketing holds the potential to instigate positive change. The study's insights contribute to the discourse on sustainable tourism by offering context-specific strategies to bolster environmental preservation, economic advancement, and local community empowerment. Ultimately, the findings underscore the pivotal role of strategic green marketing in shaping a more sustainable and ecologically-conscious future for Claver's tourism industry.

Ecovillage Market Segmentation Based on Sustainability Tourism Concept at Panji Village

Tourism market segmentation needs to be known, as is the case with the development of Tourism Villages. The purpose of this research is to find potential market segmentation that can be targeted for Panji Tourism Village. Qualitative research methods through in-depth interviews were conducted. The data can be processed using the AHP analysis tool. The results show that market segmentation for the ecovillage concept in Panji Tourism Village is the family tourist market share, the main criteria is feasibility which means that the future prospects of developing tourist attractions developed in Panji Tourism Village are tourist activities that can be enjoyed by families, with current considerations looking at a market that has the potential to come for families because apart from easy access and the potential tourist attractions offered can be enjoyed by family members. The results of this study have implications for the readiness of the community to continue to innovate local products that can be enjoyed by tourists of all ages in one family. By continuing to pay attention to the various possible needs of tourists, especially the family tourist market, it is hoped that a sustainable visit will occur.

Event Sastra Festival Temu Penyair Asia Tenggara II di Padang Panjang sebagai Potensi Pariwisata

This research aims to explore the literary event, theTemu Penyair Asia Tenggara II (TPAT) or Southeast Asian Poets Gathering II, as a potential tourism attraction. The background of this study lies in the existence of various literary festivals across the archipelago that have the potential to boost tourism, yet remain unknown to the wider public. One such event is held in Padang Panjang. This research investigates the impact of visitors' experiences on their return visits to the city where the festival takes place. The methodology employed in this research is a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative methods were used to collect data through a survey questionnaire distributed to 14 respondents, covering 10 key indicators. Subsequently, the questionnaire data was processed using qualitative descriptive analysis with a focus on literary tourism. The research corpus is the TPAT II festival held in Padang Panjang, West Sumatra. Data collection involved distributing questionnaires to 14 correspondents, addressing 10 specific indicators. The research process included data collection through field surveys. The collected data was then processed and analyzed to reveal the literary event's potential as a tourism attraction, employing literary tourism perspectives. The findings of this research indicate that visitors perceive literature and tourism, as showcased in the festival held in Padang Panjang, positively. This perception leads to a desire among visitors to return to Padang Panjang. Visitor satisfaction is anticipated to serve as a model for organizing other festivals, acting as promotional platforms for lesser-known places or tourist destinations, thereby contributing to sustainable tourism. Consequently, regions hosting TPAT II events are expected to become tourism assets for Padang Panjang.

Leuweunggajah Village, Ciledug District, is one of the villages that have untapped potential for tourist objects and attractions, so an analysis of the potential and opportunities as a tourist village must be carried out. To obtain potential opportunities for potential tourist objects and attractions in Leuweunggajah village, it is necessary to data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the data collection that has been carried out will be analyzed and described according to current conditions and circumstances. Leuwuenggajah Village has 9 (nine) potential tourist objects and attractions including the Old Sacred Well, the Baitussu'ada Jami Mosque, the Red Brick and Kentongan of the Baitussu'ada Jami Mosque, the Dome of the Baitussu'ada Jami' Mosque, the Habib Toha Grave, the Tradition of selling on Fridays. 'at Kliwon, Sugar Factory in Leuwunggajah village, Ciledug Station, Ciledug District, Cirebon Regency, MSME activity programs: Seed house, Geol Crackers, Peanuts, and Umpet so that Leuweunggajah village has the opportunity to become a tourist village in Ciledug district which of course must be supported by the village government, community leaders, the role of the Putri Wanaliman Farming Women's Group (KWT) and educational institutions.

Potential Tourism Attraction of Cokro Cave, Gunungkidul Regency as a Special Interest Tourism Development

Cave tracing activities have now become a special interest in tourist activities with kars cave as a tracing ground. One of the attractions is because of the physical shape of the cave or what is called (speleotherm). Speleotourism has a charm and experience that is different from other tourist destinations because not all regions in Indonesia have karst areas that are ideal to be developed as Speleo tourism areas, one of which is Gunungkidul Regency which has 5 caves which are geosites, one of which is Cokro Cave. Cokro Cave was first discovered by nature lovers from the Acintyacunyata Speleological Club (ASC) community in 1993, and in 2009 it began to develop into a tourist attraction managed directly by the local community. This study was conducted to explain how the development of special interest tourism occurred in the tourist attraction of Cokro Cave by utilizing the characteristics and uniqueness of the cave, but still paying attention to the preservation of the cave, as well as the role of local communities, government, and tourism development stakeholders. The concept of special interest tourism that can be applied in the Cokro Cave Area is the management of special interest tourism by limiting the number of visitors to maintain the preservation of the context and collaboration with tourist attractions around and with the Pokdarwis (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) management of the Cave Area. Referring to the six criteria of special interest tourism based on experts, it can be seen that the principles of special interest tourism have not been fully fulfilled in the tourist attraction of Cokro Cave, including no periodic studies on the condition of the cave, as well as monitoring the condition of the cave.

POTENSI DAN SKENARIO PENGEMBANGAN WISATA JEMBATAN PELANGI DI KABUPATEN SUPIORI PAPUA (Potensial and Development Scenarios the rainbow bridge tourism in Supiori Regency)

Tourism is one of the sectors that an important contribution to national and regional economic growth. The purpose of this study to assessment potential tourist attraction objects and development scenarios for the rainbow bridge in Sorendiweri Village. The potential assessment uses the tourist attraction guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation while the development analysis uses an analysis with the community based ecotourism development (CBED) model. The results showed that the rainbow bridge has a potential tourist attraction object of 2,545 (good). Communities and tourists regarding the development of objects and tourist attractions of the Rainbow Bridge perceive and accept and agree. Development scenarios so that rainbow bridge tourism is better known by the general public, both domestic and foreign tourists, including: adventure tourism in mangrove forest areas, identification of flora and fauna, visitor management, making tour packages, fulfillment and maintenance of infrastructure. The active role of the community and tourists greatly influences the existence of potential and future tourist objects.

The Representation of the Traditional Residential in Jambi Malay Islamic Culture

This study examines the relationship between architecture, conservation and tourism in representing a cultural character. This study specifically assesses building regulations which are the product of the Government's collaborative strategy between tourism planning and cultural conservation. The study of research directives focuses on approaches to tourism planning and regulation in maintaining cultural representation. The study uses the Jambi case study, evaluates legally binding guidelines in maintaining traditional architecture and investigates how local values are resistant to vernacular identities. Pengembangan Daya Tarik Wisata Heritage Museum Situs Kota Cina Kelurahan Paya Pasir Kecamatan Medan Marelan Kota Medan

This research was conducted to get an overview and information about the role of managers in developing the tourist attractions of the Cinna Cotta Site Museum and its impact on the economy of the surrounding community. In writing this research, the author conducted research at the Cinna Cotta Site Museum located on Jl. Kota Cina Kelurahan Paya Pasir, Medan Marelan District, Medan City, North Sumatra 20254. The research method carried out by the author is a qualitative research method. The approach and type of research are descriptive, namely through direct observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies related to relevant theories in analyzing existing problems. The subject of this study was the manager of the Cinna Cotta Site Museum and the community / merchants around the museum. Based on the results of research obtained at the Cinna Cotta Site Museum, it has a very potential tourist attraction to be developed. The role of the manager greatly influences the development of the museum but the development carried out has not been optimal and has not been in accordance with the plan. But the impact felt by the community with the existence of the Cinna Cotta Site Museum is quite good, because with the existence of the Cinna Cotta Site Museum, people's knowledge and income has increased. Tinjauan Potensi Fasilitas Daya Tarik Wisata Lubuk Paraku Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang

The background of this research is due to the lack of optimal development of the tourist attraction of Lubuk Paraku, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City. Lubuk Paraku has less potential to be developed in terms of the 4A tourist attraction indicators, namely Accessibility, Attraction, Amenities, Ancillary Service. This study describes the things that explain how the potential for tourist attraction in Lubuk Paraku, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City is based on the potential tourist attractions in Lubuk Paraku.This study uses a descriptive method with qualitative data, and uses a survey method. The data obtained were obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. In conducting this research, the researchers involved 5 people who became informants in the study consisting of 2 Lubuk Paraku tourism managers, 1 local community member, and 2 visitors from the Lubuk Paraku tourist attraction. Researchers used purposive sampling techniques in conducting research and data analysis was carried out by means of reduction, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the tourist attraction of Lubuk Paraku, Lubuk Kilangan District, has the potential to be developed in terms of attractions, such as natural tourist attractions and cultural tourist attractions as well as water and tropical forest tourist attractions along rivers, accessibilities such as access to get to Lubuk Paraku tourist attraction, Amenities such as existing facilities and facilities that can be developed, and Ancillary Services such as additional services and services for visitors while in Lubuk Paraku tourist attraction. With the development of Lubuk Paraku Tourism Attraction, it is hoped that it can have a good and positive impact on the world of tourism, especially in the city of Padang.

Aplikasi Remote Sensing dan Geographic Information System untuk Pemetaan Pengembangan Kawasan Wisata Agro di Desa Candikuning, Kecamatan Baturiti, Kabupaten Tabanan

Application Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System for Mapping the Development of Agro Tourism Areas in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. Bali Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia which is famous for its tourism. One of the supporting sectors for tourism is the agricultural sector. One of the well-known agro tourism areas in Bali Province is the Bedugul tourist destination or administratively, namely Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of potential tourist attractions in agro tourism areas, make plans for developing agro tourism areas, develop information systems for agro tourism areas and make maps of the distribution of potential tourist attractions in agro tourism areas. This study uses several methods, namely satellite image analysis methods, field surveys, weighting and scoring on each tourist attraction, classification of potential tourist attractions and designing an information system for agro-tourism areas. Based on the results of the study, the standard deviation value to determine the level of potential tourist attraction is 27,42348 with the division of 3 tourist attraction with high potential, 10 tourist attraction with medium potential and 7 tourist attractionwith low potential. From the level of potential tourist attraction in the agro-tourism area, a development plan for the agro-tourism area is needed using a SWOT analysis which produces 2 S-O plans, 1 W-O plan, 1 S-T plan and 1 W-T plan. Remote sensing applications and geographic information systems are very helpful in making maps of agro-tourism areas. In addition, the technology is capable of compiling an information system for tourist attractions in IT-based agro-tourism areas.

Sawah Baru Landscape Identification for Agroedutourism Agriculture 4.0, A Community-Based Development Project

IPB University has adequate agricultural land facilities and infrastructure for education and research activities. It has the potential to be developed into an agricultural area 4.0 for agrotourism activities, one of which is in the landscape of the Babakan Education Garden or Farm Teaching Sawah Baru located in Babakan Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. This study aims to identify the character of the Sawah Baru landscape for the development of community-based agricultural agrotourism 4.0. The analysis used in this study used direct observation of the field and the literature study method. The identification of several aspects in the field is carried out using drones to obtain aerial photos, which are then processed using software to produce orthophotos and continue to digitize the boundaries of the research location using spatial analyst tools. The stages of identifying new rice field landscapes for the development of community-based agricultural agrotourism 4.0 include several stages, namely the preparation and inventory stages. The results of the identification of several aspects consisting of landscape sustainability, potential tourist attraction and tourism-supporting potential show that in terms of landscape sustainability, the criteria of each existing aspect are excellent and suitable to be developed into tourist destinations. Regarding potential tourist destinations, the study area presents aspects that have the potential to attract visitors. Finally, regarding tourism-supporting potential, Sawah Baru has tourism-supporting aspects that are quite adequate to meet the needs of tourism activities. However, there is still a need to create additional facilities and utilities that can support user activity on the site.
