Implementation of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) Atmospheric Material Learning Model to Improve Students' Cognitive Abilities in the Era of Independent Learning

This research aim to determine the effectiveness of Project Based Learning or PjBL learning model wichis the output is integrated maket and website via barcode to improving student’s cognitive abilities on atmospheric subject in the era of independent learning which is related with kodrat alam and kodrat zaman concept in kurikulum merdeka. This research used the Classroom Action Research or PTK method. Data was obtained through pretest and postest before and after PTK done, then data analysis was carried out using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks. Based on the data processed Sig. (2-tailed) or P value is 0.000, so that value <5%. Based on theory, Sig. (2-tailed) or P value <5% is decided to accept Hi, then Ho is rejected. So, there is a difference average pretest and postest score, the meaning of that difference is increasing student’s cognitive values in this learning that using the PjBL learning model wichis the output is integrated maket and website via barcode on atmospheric subject in the era of independent learning or kurikulum merdeka.

Developing a culture-based Indonesian language textbook for non-native speakers for academic purposes

Language and culture could not be learned and taught separately. Therefore, a learning material based on culture should be considered for a meaningful instructional process. This study is aimed to develop a culture based textbook for academic purpose using a model of teaching language and culture. This model includes language knowledge, language awareness, culture awareness, and culture experience. The first step (need assessment) concerning the need to develop a culture based textbook was done in the previous study by Zuchdi and Nurhadi (2019), while the level of students language competence and their cultural interest was done in the beginning of this study. This study was the development of an intercultural based textbook through these following procedures: defining objectives, identifying culture topics, developing materials and media of instruction, content layout and graphic design, internal and external review, try out for product validation, and developing final draft. Based on the survey, the majority of respondents were in level 3 and 4 of Indonesian language competence, so this textbook was developed for that levels. The respondents were students taking Indonesian language program in Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta. The data were collected using pretest-postest and instructor’s reflection, and then analyzed by finding out the difference between the scores category. Almost half of the pretest scores were in the low and medium category, while all of the postest scores were in the high category. Based on the the instructor’s reflection, the students were really involving to study using this textbook. It can be concluded that the culture based Indonesian language textbook for academic purpose is effective for teaching and learning Indonesian as a foreign language.

PENERAPAN MODEL THINK TALK WRITE (TTW) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS CERITA FANTASI PADA SISWA KELAS VII

 This research is motivated by an increase in student learning outcomes towards the selection of learning models that are attractive and in accordance with student characteristics, and can measure the effectiveness of learning models, and student responses regarding the application of learning models. Especially in learning to write which is still difficult to master, and it requires continuous practice. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes by applying the think talk write model in learning to write fantasy stories, and student responses to the application of the thik talk write model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with research techniques tests, observation, and interviews. The sample of this research is students of class VII-A MTS Darul Ma'arif, as many as 25 students. The results of student acquisition, from the pretest results with the highest score of 77, the lowest score of 40, the average pretest score of 62.56. Ten out of twenty-five students scored> 75 above the KKM score. While the postest score of the highest score is 95, the lowest score is 65 and the average postest score is 83.48. Twenty-two out of twenty-five students scored> 75 above the KKM score determined by the school. It can be concluded from the results of the posttest scores obtained an increase in student learning outcomes, on learning to write fantasy stories after using the think talk write model, with an average postest score of 83.48 which is superior. So the application of the think talk write model is declared effective and successful, and gets good responses from students.

Efektivitas Penyuluhan Kesehatan Cermat Pilih Makanan, Remaja Sehat Bebas Obesitas Pada Siswa SMK

The prevalence of obesity in adolescents has increased very significantly. One of the causes of the high number of cases of obesity is that the diet changes. The purpose of community service activities is to provide education related to healthy food to adolescents/students to prevent overnutrition and obesity in adolescents. The method of activity in this community service activity is counseling with a target of 29 class XII students of SMKN 62 Jakarta. The results of the counseling showed a significant increase in student knowledge as seen from the significant difference between the prestest and postest scores. Providing education through counseling is an effective effort that can be used in nutrition and health education

Improving English Writing Skills through the Application of Audiovisual Media at Senior High School

The author found that there was still a lack of mastery and interest of students in writing English sentences at SMAN 3 Sumbawa Besar. This study aims to explain strategies for using audiovisual media as well as analyze the results of improving English writing skills in the use of audiovisual media. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with the data collection techniques used are observation, English writing skills test and documentation and the analysis technique used is the paired sample t-test. Based on the results of the descriptive statistical analysis test, the average score of pretest and posttest English writing was obtained by students in the control class of 50.88 and 59.56 experienced an increase in scores in the experimental class of 58.68 and 74.85, meaning that there was an increase in English writing skills after the use of audiovisual media. From the analysis of the pretest-postest paired t-test, a result of -35.098 with a sig value was obtained. hitug (2 tailed) 0.000 is smaller than the ttabel 0.05. It was concluded that there was a difference between the pretest and postest scores in the results of English writing skills before using audiovisual media and after using audiovisual media.

APPLICATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL TO STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES ON HEAT MATERIAL AND ITS TRANSFER

Students preparation to compete in 4.0 era based on curriculum implementation make it the teachers job to help students develop their problem solving skills, analytical process and critical thinking skills. It was necessary to have a supportive learning model, which is by choosing a problem based learning model. This article research used a problem based learning model in heat material and its transfer. The aim was to determine the implementation of learning, student learning outcomes and student responses after attending this lesson on heat material and its transfer. Types of research was a quasi-experimental research design, which is by one group pretest-postest design for 14 students of seventh grade junior high school. Research instruments used in this study was implementation observation sheets, pretest posttest and response questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study was observation sheet on the implementation of learning, n-gain and student response in questioning. The research results showed that the n-gain value was in high category, meaning there was a difference between pretest and postest scores and improved student learning outcomes.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PERMAINAN TRUTH AND DARE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract The limitations in the use of learning media in learning activities and the lack of student learning outcomes make researchers want to develop the learning media based on the Truth and Dare game as a learning medium on economic subjects in the APBN and APBD material. The research on development the learning media based on the Truth and Dare game aimed to explain the level of feasibility; analyzed effectiveness and practicality; the response of students to the learning media; and learning outcomes. This study uses the RD student questionnaire responses; and gain score calculation. The learning media Truth and Dare game are considered very practical and effective so that they can improve student learning outcomes in accordance with the average N-Gain score of 0,71 with an increase in the pretest and postest scores with an excellent student response of 98,2%, percentage score of eligibility of 95,64%, percentage score of effectiveness of 100%, and percentage score of practicality of 100%. The learning media Truth and Dare game have also gone through the stages of review, revision, and validation with “very feasible”. Therefore, the learning media as a Truth and Dare game is very suitable for use in learning activities because it can improve student learning outcomes. PENGARUH PENDEKATAN CONFERENCING BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 26 ARUNGKEKE KABUPATEN JENEPONTO

The purpose of this study was to determine the students’ ability to write narrative essays and to determine the significant effect of conferencing approach assisted by audio-visual media for grade Vstudents at SD Negeri 26 Arungkeke, Kabupaten Jeneponto. The type of this study was quasi experimental research. The design of this study was a non-quivalent control group design. This study found that the average score of students’ ability to write narrative essays in the control class for pretest was 63.90 and the average score for posttest was 74.52. Meanwhile, the average score of pretest in the experimental class was 59.48 and the average postest score was 80.24. The result of N-Gian score test in the control class was an average of 0.24152, indicating that the learning outcomes of writing narrative essays were low. Whereas, the average score of N-Gain test in the experimental class was 0.4640, indicating that the learning outcomes of writing narrative essays were moderate. After that, the result of T test revealed that tcount 2,283> ttable 0.021 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was received. The significant value of 2-tiled was 0.030 <sig. 0.05; thus, conferencing approach assisted by audio-visual media gave a significant effect on the students’ ability to write narrative essays at grade V SD Negeri 26 Arungkeke, Kabupaten Jeneponto.

Effectiveness of group counseling services using self management techniques on aggressive student behavior

Aggressive behavior is behavior that aims to hurt and injure others physically and psychologically. The factors that influence the occurrence of aggressive behavior are the influence of the student's environment and violent broadcasts on television and social media (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram and so on). So that efforts are needed to reduce aggressive behavior in students. The aggressive behavior that occurs is physical aggressive behavior, verbal aggressive behavior, excessive angry excessive hostile behavior and behavior. One of the efforts made to reduce students' aggressive behavior at school is to carry out group counseling services with self-management techniques, where the sample in this study was 15 people divided into an experimental group of 8 students and 7 students in the control group. using a non-test instrument, namely a questionnaire. this study aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling services using self-management techniques to reduce aggressive behavior. The findings of this study are: (1) there is a significant difference in the aggressive behavior of the experimental group before and after following self-management techniques (2) there is a significant difference in the aggressive behavior of the control group before and after being given group counseling services about aggressive behavior without special treatment, (3) ) There is a difference in the aggressive behavior of the experimental group students who were given group self-management techniques with the control group who were given group counseling services about aggressive behavior without special treatment, this can be seen in the post-test average score of the experimental group falling higher than the average postest score. control group.

Optimalisasi Palang Merah Remaja dalam Pencegahan Penyakit Tidak Menular di Era COVID-19

Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) merupakan penyebab kematian terbesar di dunia yang memberikan beban sosial ekonomi yang berat. PTM merupakan penyakit yang dapat dicegah dengan mengendalikan faktor risiko sejak dini. Generasi muda dapat berkontribusi dalam pencegahan PTM dengan cara membagikan pesan-pesan bermanfaat tersebut ke lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, maupun masyarakat. Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan persembahan alumni untuk memberikan pelatihan pencegahan PTM yang dilakukan secara daring. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh anggota PMR SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta. Organisasi ini merupakan organisasi yang cukup aktif, tetapi selama ini belum pernah mengangkat tema PTM dalam kegiatannya. Pengetahuan anggotanya tentang PTM masih kurang. SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta merupakan salah satu sekolah favorit di Surakarta dan menjadi percontohan dan tolak ukur prestasi bagi sekolah lainnya. Kegiatan ini dibagi 2 sesi yaitu pencegahan dan penatalaksanaan awal PTM dan adaptasi kebiasaan baru pada era tatanan baru. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 34 orang anggota PMR SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta. Didapatkan kenaikan signifikan rerata nilai postest (nilai rerata 10) dibandingkan pretest (nilai rerata 6,24 + 2,26; (p<0,001). 68% peserta sangat setuju pelatihan ini menarik, 56% peserta sangat setuju bahwa materi pelatihan ini mudah dipahami, dan 84% peserta sangat setuju materi pelatihan ini relevan dengan kondisi saat ini. Pelatihan ini menambah pengetahuan tentang pencegahan PTM pada anggota PMR. Adanya pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan adanya kebiasaan baru. Apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik, kondisi ini dapat menyebabkan timbulnya faktor risiko PTM atau memperburuk faktor risiko yang ada. Kami menyarankan dilakukannya skrinin g dini faktor risiko PTM pada semua siswa.

The Effect Of Whatsapp Application Assisted PjBL Model And Zoom Meeting On Learning Outcomes Of Capita Selecta

The current covid-19 pandemic has an impact on Capita Selecta Chemistry lectures. The difficulty of face-to-face learning in class makes lecturers have to be able to find solutions to these problems. One of the solutions used is the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by the WhatsApp Group (WAG) application and face-to-face through the zoom meeting application.This research is a research pre-experimental research with one-group pretest posttest design, experiments conducted in one class without a comparison class. The research was conducted at a State University in Bengkulu. With the research subjects as many as 24 students who took capita selecta Chemistry course. The instruments used in this study are learning outcomes tests and response questionnaires towards applications that used in learning. Data analysis techniques include average value, normality test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test using SPPS computer program for windows version 23. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes with the implementation of PjBL model assisted by WhatsApp and Zoom applications with pretest scores of 66.042, postest scores of 84.625 and the N-gain value data obtained was 0.547 in the moderate category. Student’s response toward the use of WAG and Zoom Meeting applications was very positive. As many as 91.67% of students considered that WAG application was a very practical application and it was easily accessible to students, especially access to learning materials. PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COURSE REVIEW HORAY (CRH) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN AKUNTANSI DASAR

This study aims to determine the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model in basic accounting subjects and to find out the development of the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model can improve student achievement in basic accounting subjects. This study uses R&D (Research and Development) with reference to Sugiyono's theory which consists of six steps, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. The population in this study were all students of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 Serang City. The results of this study indicate that the assessment given by the material/content expert by lecturers and teachers. The results of the teacher's expert assessment of the material aspects and the truth of the content get a score of 3,3 in the valid category. The results of the lecturer's expert assessment of the material aspects and the truth of the content got a score of 3,3 in the valid category. The results of product trials in students get a score of 3,2 in the valid category. As for student achievement in the learning process with an average pretest score of 53 and a postest score of 85, there was an increase of 32.

Maple 13 Assisted Problem Based Teaching in Vector Calculus Course

The purpose of this study was to obtain learning outcomes by looking at the differences between classes learning of maple 13 application assisted by problem based teaching materials with convensional learning question and answer. The method used in this research is an experimental method with random sampling. The result of thi research are: (a) validation was carried out by competent expert lecturers to assess the feasibility of calculus vector questions to obtain good and very good criteria, so the valid test items were used for research, (b) from the validation results of the test items, 5 questions were used. The research (experiment) of 8 questions was tested, (c) the normality test was carried out on the N-gain and the postest score of class A (experiment), namely the class using Maple 13 application learning assisted by problem-based teaching materials and class B (control class ) by using learning with lectures and questions and answers, obtained a class A posttest score with a sig. 0.03 <0.05 means that class A (experimental) comes from a population that is not normally distributed, then the next test is the average difference test using the Mann Whitney test, (d) the average difference test between class A (experimental), namely the class using learning Maple 13 application assisted with problem-based teaching materials and class B (control class) using learning with lectures and questions and answers obtained from the Mann Whitney test with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.475> 0.05 means that between class A and class B have different averages but have the same level of achievement or there is no difference for the level of achievement of the average increase.

Pemberdayaan Wanita Kelompok Tani Hutan Melalui Diversifikasi Produk Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu (HHBK)

KTH Agro Sumber Rejeki is one of the forest farmer groups located in the Register 40 production forest area in South Lampung Regency. This community service in the context of diversifying non-timber forest products (NTFPs), namely citronella oil. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge, technical production skills and quality requirements for citronella massage oil and telon oil, through empowering women from KTH Agro Sumber Rejeki. The method used in this PKM activity consisting of several stages, first technical guidance for making telon citronella oil and citronella sequence oil with 3 variants: natural, lemon and rose as well as counseling on herbal medicine quality requirements The effectiveness of PKM activities is evaluated by carrying out a pretest and postest. The average postest score was 83.53, an increase of 49.41 points from the pretest score with a total score of 100. The evaluation results showed that there was an increase in knowledge and technical skills in making telon citronella oil and citronella massage oil and also understanding the quality requirements of herbal medicines in women of KTH Agro Sumber Rejeki.

PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MEMBACA TEKS EKSPLANASI SISWA KELAS XI MA DARUL HIKMAH PEKANBARU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses dalam pembelajaran membaca teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan model penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini yaitu One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Teknik penarikan sampel dengan menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 78 orang dan sampel yang didapat berdasarkan hasil perhitungan adalah 65 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa melakukan tes dengan soal berbentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 24 soal. Tes ini diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses diberikan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Normalitas Lilifors dan Uji Chi Kuadrat, kemudian uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji t Satu Sampel, ANOVA Searah, dan ANOVA Dua Arah. Simpulannya ialah hasil pretes dan postes siswa terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses dalam pembelajaran membaca teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.

THE LEARNING OF PRODUCING SHORT-STORY TEXT USING PROBLEM-BASED METHODS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

This research was conducted using descriptive methods. Where researchers will describe the work of students to get more detailed results. Before the research was conducted, the pretest was first held to find out more about where the students' ability was about producing short text. After that learning is done by applying the problem-based method, and ends with the posttest as a method of proving that effectiveness. The results showed that after learning to produce short text using this problem method, the ability of students to produce short stories increased. This is evidenced by the achievement of learning objectives and improved student learning outcomes. The increase can be seen from the results of the comparison of the average pretest is 56,5 and the average postest score is 69.2. Thus the posttest average is higher than the average pretest.

Pengaruh Media Simulasi terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis pada Konsep Fluida Statis

This research aim is to investigate the impact of simulation media toward critical thinking skill in static fluid concept. The research was conducted during 28 January 2019 until 13 February 2019 in SMAN 10 South Tangerang. The purposive sampiling technique was adjusted to determine subject which consist students role of XI IPA 2 as experiment class and XI IPA 1 as control class. The research used quasi experiment method due to nonequivalent control group design. The data were collective by 10 essays test and questionnaire and Mann Whitney to analyse the accpetance of hypothesis. Thus, the result of postest score who learn using simulation media was significant (angka signifikan) effected toward critical thinking skill. In addition, the N-Gain result indicated student performance of experiment class was higher improvement than control class. However, learning using simulation media got best category resulting 86% percentage from student response questionnaire.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MENCARI PASANGAN DAN BERTUKAR PASANGAN DALAM KELOMPOK DISKUSI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI SISTEM KOLOID KELAS XI IPA MAN 1 KOTA BENGKULU

This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes using a model of learning make a match with a model partner switch the subject matter colloidal system class XI IPA MAN 1 Bengkulu City in the academic year 2017/2018. The research population of all classes XI IPA amounted to 4 classes with a total population of 151 students. The sampling of the research was done by normality test and homogeneity test before the study population. Obtained a sample of research that consists of 2 classes of class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class I that apply the model make a match and class XI IPA 2 as an experimental class II using a model parten switch. Student learning outcomes are seen from the postest score. Students' learning outcomes in the make a match class had an average of 82.714 while in the partner switch the average pair was 77.5. This shows that the model of make a match is more effectively used in the process of learning in class than the model of partner switch. From the t test-t test on both experiment classes is obtained tcount and ttable = 1.707> 1.666 (? = 0,05). The results show that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that there is a significant difference between the learning result of the students using make a match model and the learning model partner switch on the material of the colloidal system.

PROJECT BASED LEARNING APPROACH TO GRAPHIC DESIGN

This purpose of study is to develop an instructional model that can be used to overcome learning problems of commercial graphic design drafting. The model consists of learning materials, study guide, lecture manual, assignment and practice for the learner learning process. This research used the research and development model of Borg, Gall, and Gall (3) which adapt the systematic Design of Instruction model of Dick, Carey, and Carey (11). As for the results of the research showed that There was significant difference between pre- test score (X=64.4) and pos-test score (X=78.80). T test score indicates that the difference between pre and posttest significantly differ due to student improvement in doing their task and assignments.

EFEKTIFITAS PENGGUNAAN BAHAN AJAR BERBASIS WEB TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA PADA MATA KULIAH EVALUASI PROSES DAN HASIL PEMBELAJARAN UNIVERSITAS BATURAJA

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect ivenes of web-based teaching materials on student learning achievement in the evaluation of learning process and achievement course of Baturaja University. This experimental study used one group pretest postest design. There were 32 of fifth semester students participated in this study. Testing was used to collect the data. The data was analyzed using t test and computed through SPSS 22. The results showed that the significant value was 0.000 which were less than 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). This means that there was significant difference between students’ pretest postest scores. From the result, it could be conclude that web based teaching materials were effectively used to improve students’ learning achievement.Keywords: Web-based teaching materials, learning achievement, evaluation of learning process and achievement course
