Levels of Phthalate Acid Esters in Drinking Water Bottled in PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and PC (Polycarbonates) Bottles - stored under Different Storage Conditions in Mwanza City, Tanzania

Bottled drinking water is widely advertised and sold in glass or, to a greater extent, plastic bottles with metallic or plastic caps, and is regularly drank by both children and adults. Mwanza City markets have many brands of bottled drinking water packed in PET and PC plastic bottles whose polymers may contain additives such as phthalates. Certain cancer types, hormone imbalances, and developmental delays have all been connected to these phthalates, which are harmful to human health. This study investigated, the effects of storage conditions, time spent in storage, and type of container polymer on the leaching of phthalates from packaging materials into particular brands of locally produced PC and PET bottled drinking water that are regularly consumed by adults and children and sold in Mwanza City markets. The method of determination was liquid-liquid extraction followed by chromatographic analysis for identification of the specific phthalates compounds.
 The results that the lowest mean Di methyl phthalates (DMP) concentration in water packed in PET bottles was 0.085 µg/mL before storage and that the mean DMP concentration increased to 0.235 µg/mL following six months of storage at room temperature and outdoor temperature. Additionally, the 18.9-liter PET bottle migrated higher than the 1.5-liter PET bottle due to its larger surface area for water contact and higher surface-to-volume ratio; however, it was found that production contamination, not migration, was the cause of the higher Di methyl phthalates concentrations in the PC bottles. These findings suggest that storing PET bottles containing drinking water at room and outdoor temperatures for an extended period of time directly impacts phthalate migration. Furthermore, this study shows reusing plastic water bottles raises the risk that the inner surface will deteriorate and release more phthalates, which raises concerns about the safety of drinking water that has been prepared and stored in a plastic bottle.

Isolation and characterization of bacteria grown on polyethylene terephthalate plastic bottles

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a polymer used in the production of water and beverage bottles as well as textiles, and packaging materials. The aim of this study is to isolate and characterize PET-associated bacteria. The samples were collected from different sites in Dhaka and inoculated into enriched culture media. The predominant bacteria were Bacillus (31%), Pseudomonas (31%), and Enterobacter (10%), while others were Listeria, Enterobacter, Citrobacter, Klebsiella, Kluyerea, Staphylococcus and Morganella. Algal deterioration of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottle in combination with physical and chemical pretreatments: A macrocosm study

Plastic pollution has become an environmental issue worldwide because of its slow degradation and persistent nature. Many traditional methods exist and are practiced here to handle and reuse plastic waste, but those need to be more capable of tackling increasing waste volume. Biological plastic waste management could be a sustainable way to ensure environmental quality. Therefore, this study aimed to screen the bio-deterioration of PET wastes using physical and chemical pretreatments. We kept PET samples in freshwater and marine water media designed to support algal growth and incubated those under direct or indirect sunlight or in dark conditions. We observed algal growth and measured deterioration of PET samples using the tensile strength test, FTIR, and viewed surface properties using FESEM. Acid pretreatment and exposure to direct sunlight left the PET most fragile. FTIR analysis also supported the observation, and changes in functional groups are evident. Heat pretreatment usually reduces the volume and thus increases strength. Bottles incubated under direct or indirect sunlight supported the algal growth. The most prevalent algal species found in freshwater environments include Volvox, Chlorella vulgaris, Craticula cuspidate, Navicula pupula, Synedra ulna, and marine environments include Palisada perforate, Ulva flexuosa, Cladoptera herpestica, and Blindingia minima. Algal growth increases the porosity and surface cracks of PET bottles. Though FTIR analysis did not show any change in functional groups, except for acid pretreatment, upon algal growth, the transmittance increase indicated decay of PET samples.

Solvent selection in membrane preparation from polyethylene terephthalate plastic waste: computational and experimental study

The selection of the solvent during the membrane preparation process significantly affects the characteristics of the resulting membrane. The large number of organic solvents available for dissolving polymers renders this experimental approach ineffective. A computational approach can select a solvent using the solvation energy value approach. In addition, no organic waste is generated from the computational approach, which is a distinct advantage. A computational approach using the DFT/B3LYP/def2-TZVP RIJCOSX method was used to optimize the structure of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The PET for the experiment was obtained from the utilization of plastic bottle waste. In addition, a review of the thermodynamics, geometry, HOMO-LUMO orbitals, and vibrational frequencies was conducted to validate the PET molecule against the experimental results. A conductor-like polarizable continuum model was used to determine the best solvent for dissolving the PET plastic waste. The results demonstrated that the Fourier Transform Infra-Red and Fourier Transform Raman spectra obtained from computational calculations were not significantly different from the experimental results. Based on a thermodynamic approach, computationally the Gibbs free energy (−724.723), entropy (0.0428), and enthalpy (−724,723 Kjmol−1 ) values of the PET dimer molecule are not much different from the experimental values (−601, 0.042, and −488 Kjmol−1). The computational approach was successful in selecting solvents that can dissolve PET plastic bottle waste. Phenol solvent has the lowest solvation energy value (−101.879 Kjmol−1) and the highest binding energy (2.4 Kjmol−1) than other solvents. Computational and experimental results demonstrated that the phenol solvent was able to dissolve PET plastic bottle waste better than the other solvents.

Relative Strength Performance Evaluation of Self-Compacting and High Strength Concrete Beams containing Polyethylene Terephthalate

This research compares the flexural resistance of self-compacting concrete (SCC) and High Strength Concrete (HSC) beams with embedded polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottle below the neutral axis using concrete grade of C70. Mix design for both SCC and HSC were performed in line with relevant specification. Experimental programme was achieved on both beam specimens. Workability, compressive and flexural strength tests were performed in the laboratory. The workability test revealed a more flowable concrete with the SCC mix than that of the HSC. The compressive strength for the SCC design mix yields a higher value (about 21.5% higher) than that of the HSC. The flexural resistance of each beam specimens (SCC beams and HSC beams) increases with increase in curing days of the beams but higher strength was achieved with SCC beams at 28 days curing. The stress-strain behavior is within the specified acceptable limit (0.002-0.0035) for concrete with grade less than or equal to C50/C60. It is concluded that the replacement of concrete with PET plastic bottles beneath the neutral axis will lead to reduction in volume of materials, reduction in environmental waste, price of removal of the garbage and eco-friendly environs.

Model analysis on effect of temperature on the solubility of recycling of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic

The massive increase in the use of PET plastic bottles has raised the challenge of accumulated waste plastics disposal and its related environmental concerns. Reusing this plastic waste through a solvent-based recycling process seems to be an eco-friendly solution for eliminating waste plastic and converting them into high quality products. The selection of solvent with its temperature requirement for the dissolution of polymeric materials is crucial in the solvent-based recycling process. Therefore, an innovative MATLAB program named HSPs-TPT was designed and constructed in this work to evaluate the dissolving power of solvents. Through this program, the solubility of the waste PET polymer was examined in thirteen (13) different solvents at different temperatures. As a results, the degree of waste PET polymer dissolution in the solvents was presented as the polymer-solvent solubility diagram, which provided the information about the relative energy difference (RED) change with the temperature rise. The program also provided the temperature range effective for the dissolution of PET by indicating the minimum and maximum solubility point for each solvent, which was further validated by the experimental data found in the literature. The proposed MATLAB program can numerically analyse the solubility of a polymer in different solvents in a short time for the recycling process and fabrication of different value-added plastic products such as polymer monoliths and membrane filters.

Microwave pyrolysis of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottle sheets for energy recovery

Recovering energy from plastics not only mitigates the energy crisis, but also reduces the environmental pollution. In this study, microwave pyrolysis of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottle sheets as affected by sheet size (2.5 × 2.5, 5.0 × 5.0, 7.5 × 7.5 and 10 × 10 mm2), silicon carbide load (20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 g), and pyrolysis temperature (450, 500, 550, and 600 °C) was investigated. The results showed that increases in the sheet size increased the average heating rate (19.99–33.22 °C/min), solid yield (10.33–24.33 wt%), gas yield (15.00–35.67 wt%), recovered energy efficiency (10.16–25.34%) and overall energy efficiency (4.62–14.12%). Increases in the silicon carbide load first decreased and then increased the average heating rate (22.04–104.64 °C/min), whereas increased the solid yield (4.33–25.33 wt%), gas yield (8.00–40.33 wt%), recovered energy efficiency (4.21–25.34%) and overall energy efficiency (2.51–14.12%). Increases in the pyrolysis temperature first increased and then decreased the solid yield (22.33–35.67 wt%), gas yield (24.00–40.00 wt%), and the recovered energy efficiency (22.16–34.35%). The optimum condition was at 10 × 10 mm2 sheet size, 35 g silicon carbide load and 550 °C pyrolysis temperature with 35.67 wt% solid yield, 40.00 wt% gas yield, 34.38% recovered energy efficiency and 18.35% overall energy efficiency. The results presented in this study supply method and data for energy recovery from PET plastic bottle sheets.

Polyethylene Terephthalate Waste Utilisation for Production of Low Thermal Conductivity Cement Sand Bricks

There is a tremendous increase in plastic waste that negatively impacts the environment due to various industrial activities. Furthermore, plastic waste has non-biodegradable properties that make it hard to reduce its accumulation around the globe. Hence, this study aims to investigate the possibility of incorporating Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste as a partial replacement material of sand to improve the thermal insulation properties of cement sand brick by looking at findings of low thermal conductivity value. The study uses a PET plastic bottle that has been cut into small flakes and grind using a granulator machine to produce PET waste granules whose size is not more than 5 mm, similar to the sand size. This waste was added to other raw materials, i.e., cement and sand. The percentages of PET waste vary from 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% by weight. This study produced two types of samples, i.e., control brick and PET waste cement sand brick. All samples undergo laboratory works involving geotechnical gradation, physical, mechanical, and thermal conductivity testing. Based on the results obtained, the optimum proportion of PET waste replacement in cement sand bricks making is 5% by its having the lowest thermal conductivity value of 0.581 W/mK and meeting the standard requirements of 3.90 MPa > 3.45 MPa (ASTM C129-11 for compressive strength), and 2,146 kg/m3 > 2,000 kg/m3 (ASTM C129-11 for normal weight non-loadbearing brick). Thus, PET plastic bottle waste can be a potential partial sand replacement material in cement sand bricks. Its potential to enhance the thermal conductivity of existing cement sand brick reduces sand consumption, solves plastic waste problems, and promotes a better environmentally-friendly construction industry.

Aspartic acid assisted one-step synthesis of stable CsPbX3@Asp-Cs4PbX6 by in situ growth in NH2-MIL-53 for ratiometric fluorescence detection of 4-bromophenoxybenzene.

A molecularly imprinted ratiometric fluorescent sensor was synthesized for the detection of 4-bromophenoxybenzene (BDE-3) based on perovskite quantum dots and metal organic framework. First, aspartic acid (Asp) was introduced during the synthesis of perovskite CsPbX3 for the formation of a core-shell structure of CsPbX3@Asp-Cs4PbX6. Due to the protection of the shell layer Cs4PbX6, the stability of the core CsPbX3 was improved significantly. Compared to CsPb(BrI)3, the ultraviolet and thermal stabilities of CsPb(BrI)3@Asp-Cs4Pb(BrI)6 were increased by 26 times and 32 times, respectively, and, compared to CsPbBr3, these stabilities of CsPbBr3@Asp-Cs4PbBr6 were increased by 3 times and 13 times, respectively. The water stabilities of CsPb(BrI)3@Asp-Cs4Pb(BrI)6 and CsPbBr3@Asp-Cs4PbBr6 were greatly improved too. Then, a ratiometric fluorescence sensor was constructed by in situ growth of CsPb(BrI)3@Asp-Cs4Pb(BrI)6 in metal organic framework (NH2-MIL-53) for the detection of BDE-3, in which the orange fluorescence of CsPb(BrI)3@Asp-Cs4Pb(BrI)6 (614nm) was regarded as the reference signal and thecyan fluorescence of NH2-MIL-53 (494nm) was usedas the fluorescence response signal. To improve the selectivity of the sensor, the molecular imprinting polymer (MIP) was modified on the NH2-MIL-53 and an imprinting factor of 3.17 was obtained. Under 365nm light excitation, the fluorescent response signal at 494nm was quenched gradually by BDE-3 in the range 11.4 to 68.5nmol/L, while the reference signal at 614nm remained unchanged. The limit of detection and limit of quantification were 3.35 and 11.2nmol/L, respectively, and the fluorescent color of the sensor changed gradually from cyan to green to orange, which illustrated that the developed sensor has an ability to recognize BDE-3 specifically, a good anti-interference ability, and a sensitively visual detection ability. Moreover, the sensor was successfully applied to the BDE-3 detection in polyethylene terephthalate plastic bottle, polyvinyl chloride plastic bag, and circuit board with satisfactory recoveries (96.3-108.1%) and low relative standard deviations (5%). The preparation processes of NH2-MIL-53, NH2-MIL-53-CsPb(BrI)3@Asp-Cs4Pb(BrI)6, and the MIP-NH2-MIL-53-CsPb(BrI)3@Asp-Cs4Pb(BrI)6 composites.

Perilaku Kuat Tekan Beton Normal Terhadap Penambahan Serat Botol Plastik Jenis PET

PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic bottle waste is a material that takes a long time to decompose and will accumulate in the world for a long time. Therefore we need the utilization of the plastic waste. One way to reuse PET plastic bottle waste is to use it as an additive to the concrete mixture. The purpose of this study is to determine how much increase in the compressive strength of concrete to the addition of shredded PET plastic waste at 28 days of concrete. The variations in the addition of 0%, 0,2%, 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8%, and 1% to the volume of concrete cylinders with 3 samples of concrete variations each. The results showed that the concrete with the addition of PET fibers by 0.2% experienced an increase in the compressive strength value of 1.31% from the compressive strength of normal concrete which was originally 22.251 MPa to 22.650 MPa. While the variation in the percentage of PET 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8% and 1% decreased the compressive strength of the concrete. In PET fiber concrete 0.6% and 1.0%, although there is a decrease in the average compressive strength of the concrete, the value obtained exceeds the compressive strength value of the concrete plan, which is 20 MPa.

Influence of polymer coated aggregate on the aggregate impact and crushing value

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and latex belong to the family of the polymer. PET type of plastic bottle is the most commonly found in the household waste stream. Recycling this type of plastic into another form is the cheapest and the best way of recycling. However, this may not become a green waste management solution when energy is used to transform this plastic into another useable form. In this study, PET was used to discover the potential for improvement of asphalt mixture properties. This study examines the plastic waste used as an aggregate coating. PET plastic bottle was shredded and sieved to obtain size 0.425 to 0.075mm then was blended with hot aggregate to form a thin layer of plastic coating on the aggregate surface. The comparison between unmodified aggregate properties and modified properties was studied. 1%, 3%, 5%, 7%, 9%, 11%, 13% and 15% of plastic by weight of aggregate were used as aggregate coating. The aggregate impact value test (AIV) and aggregate crushing value test (ACV) were done on the plastic coated aggregate. The test result had shown an improvement in the properties of plastic coated aggregate. From the experiment results conducted on the PET and aggregate, we can conclude that the lowest percent of aggregate loss on the crushing value test is 16.34% when PET content is 9% while 8.00% when PET content is 13% for the impact value test. The lowest percent of aggregate loss for impact value is then compared with the percent loss of PET Latex coated aggregate. The presence of latex and PET has caused the strength of the aggregate to increase where the percentage loss value when performed impact test is very low that is can achieve 3.48%. The quality of flexible pavement can be improved when the surface of the aggregate is coated with the polymer.

Identification for Recycling Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Plastic Bottles by Polarization Vision

The recycling of disposed PET plastic bottles has significant meaning for environmental pollution control and resource recycling. The reuse value heavily depends on the purity of the recycled PET. In order to improve the purity of PET recycling, a new means of material identification of PET plastic bottle based on polarization vision is proposed. To identify PET plastic bottles on conveyor belt, an effective region segmentation method for plastic bottle location and feature extraction has been put forward. The polarization of the scattered light on the surface of the object contains the information of its material. To obtain robust material characteristics of the PET plastic bottle, an approximate refractive index calculation method based on the degree of polarization and phase angle is introduced. The mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation of the approximate refractive index and intensity distribution are used to construct the feature vector. The support vector machine (SVM) algorithm was used for PET identification. The experimental results show that the mean accuracy of PET plastic bottles material identification of recycled bottles is up to 92.06%.

Solving two environmental issues simultaneously: Waste polyethylene terephthalate plastic bottle-derived microporous carbons for capturing CO2

The treatment of plastic waste is a global issue, and the demand for technologies to reuse or upgrade plastic waste is increasing. In this study, waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles were used to prepare cost-effective porous carbons, and the prepared carbon materials were tested for capturing CO2. PET plastic bottles were carbonized and activated using KOH or NaOH to develop porous carbons, and their CO2 adsorption behaviors were investigated from both equilibrium and kinetic perspectives. Varying the activation temperature had a significant effect on the textural properties of the prepared carbons. PET-KOH-973, which was prepared by activation with KOH at 973 K, exhibited the highest CO2 uptake of 4.42 mol kg−1 at 298 K and 101.3 kPa among the tested samples. The experimental adsorption data were well fitted to the Langmuir isotherm and pseudo second-order kinetic models, and the CO2 adsorption on the PET-derived porous carbons was mainly related to the pore volumes of the narrow pores under 0.8 nm in diameter. Grand canonical Monte Carlo simulation and density functional theory calculation were also performed to understand adsorption mechanism and selectivity, and the theoretical calculation agreed well with experimental data. The PET-derived porous carbons exhibited not only high CO2 uptake, but also good selectivity of CO2 over N2 and CO, simple regeneration, excellent cyclic stability, and fast CO2 adsorption and desorption kinetics.

Experimental characteristic of PET plastic bottle waste addition on asphalt concrete wearing course compound

Optimization of bottle plastic waste with Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) type as additional material for asphalt can be performed by running a test on modified plastic bottle waste for further usage as the asphalt compound. Besides, Indonesia is placed second in the world rank for producing plastic waste into the sea so that waste domestication becomes a necessity to reduce the increasing amount of waste. Moreover, inserting plastic bottle waste is to get the durability of pavement structure in case of deformation tolerance in the traffic load. The study is oriented to the plastic bottle waste called Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). The study utilizes the wet process method as asphalt additional material. The present study is executed on the Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course compound by using 60/70 asphalt pen which is modified with PET plastic bottle waste by 0%, 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% levels. The study aims to investigate the Marshall parameter of asphalt concrete characteristics with various asphalt PET modifications. The result of the Marshall parameter shows that asphalt optimum level (AOL) for asphalt 0 % is about 5.9, PET asphalt of 3%, 6%, 9%, and 12% is about 5.95. Based on the analysis, the optimum level of asphalt concrete compounded with 9% PET has improved stability value of 33% between the usage of optimum modified asphalt and asphalt pen by 60/70.

Sustainable use of plastic brick from waste PET plastic bottle as building block in Rohingya refugee camp: a review

Bangladesh is 10th among the major plastic waste contributor countries of the globe. Throughout the world, plastic waste disposal is a major concern since it is being nonbiodegradable in nature and hazardous, because of its potential harmful effect on human health and to the environment. Various studies have shown that waste PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottle filled with sand or other inorganic materials can serve as a useful building material where plastic waste management or recycling process is not very effective and particularly, in low-income communities. Plastic brick use in existing Rohingya refugee camp and newly proposed displacement camp in the coast island-Bhasan Char-as construction material to build new shelters, can be a sustainable use and management of country's plastic waste, and a feasible solution against the shelter issues of Rohingya people. The vulnerability due to heavy wind, monsoon rains, cyclones, and the gaps and lack in funding to build new rigid and safe shelters can be effectively mitigated by using this low-cost, environment-friendly plastic brick as building block in refugee camps.

The adsorption of dye waste using black carbon from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottle waste

Black carbon from PET plastic bottles has been successfully synthesized by heating methods. Six gram sample of PET plastic bottle were heated by furnace for 2 hours with various heating temperature as 300°C, 350°C, 400°C, and 450°C. Black carbon then mixed with methylene blue in aqueous solution with various masses as 20 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg, 80 mg, and 100 mg. This study shows that the black carbon which synthesized at temperature of 450°C performs as the most effective absorbent. The solution of methylene blue changed its color significantly and became clearer after the adsorption process. The absorbance spectra of methylene blue lies at the wavelength of 550-700 nm and decreasing the absorbance intensity. It indicates that the concentration of methylene blue is decreased during adsorption proccess which predicted due to the oxygen molecul and the porosity. The analysis of carbon morphology showed that black carbon which synthesized at temperature of 450°C has more pores, while the black carbon which heated at temperature of 400°C has few pores. The EDX analysis shows that black carbon that heated at temperature of 450°C contains 32,4% oxygen, whereas black carbon that heated at temperature of 400°C contains 24,3% oxygen.

Effect of waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) on properties of road aggregate

Rapid growth of plastics industries in Asia’s emerging markets particularly in Malaysia, in one way, it raised expectations for everyday comforts, in the other way it also causes environmental issues. Plastic bottle for recycling can be found from the household waste stream, and most of them are made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). Recycling this plastic into another form might be one of the cheapest and rapid solutions. However, turning this plastic into some other usable form uses energy and this may not become a green waste management solution. In this research, PET is utilized to explore its potential prospects to upgrade asphalt mixture properties. This study investigates the use of waste plastic as modifier for aggregates (plastic coating aggregate). The type of plastic used in this study was waste PET plastic bottle. The shredded waste PET plastic (size 0.075mm to 1.18mm) was mixed with hot aggregate to form a thin layer on the surface of the aggregates. The properties of modified aggregate and unmodified aggregate was tested and compared. 1% and 2% of plastic by weight of aggregate were used to coat the aggregate. The plastic-coated aggregates are tested for impact value and crushing value. The test results had demonstrated that there was an improvement in the properties of plastic coated aggregates.

Concrete Incorporated with Optimum Percentages of Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Bottle Fiber

Plastic solid waste generation increases every year with the current consumption habit prevalent in the society nowadays. The improper disposal of plastic has been a major concern to the environment as it is not easily degradable. The issue of environmental pollution caused by polyethylene terephthalates (PET) has been extensively discussed and the best solution proposed is recycling. Therefore, one of the potential means to the problem is to recycle PET in the construction industry as fiber concrete (FC). FC is a composite material resulting from the addition of fibers to ordinary concrete. The objective of this research is to determine the compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and also the optimum percentages of recycled PET fibers in ordinary concrete. In this study, straight and irregular recycled PET fibers were used. The fibers were simply cut from PET plastic bottles. The length and width of recycled PET fiber were fixed at 50 mm and 5 mm respectively. The chosen percentages were 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5% and 2.0% of fiber. A water-cement ratio of 0.45 was accepted for all ranges. The tests that were conducted included the slump test, compressive strength test and splitting tensile strength test. The specimens were tested on day 7 and day 28 after the concrete was mixed. The results obtained from each test indicated that when the percentage of recycled PET fiber used increases, the values obtained from the slump test and compressive strength test decreases while the value obtained from the splitting tensile test increases

Analysis of Di-(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate in Plastic Bottles of Drinking Water with Cone-shaped Membrane–Liquid Phase Microextraction

The analysis of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) was done in three kinds of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles of mineral water, namely: new bottle, ten times refilled and sunlight exposed new bottle. The optimal condition on this study is ethyl acetate as an organic solvent, 175 µl of organic solvent and 20 min of extraction time. This method has limit detection about 0.29 ppm, precision 96.48–110.10 %, accuracy until 1.95 % and enrichment factor until 302.67 times. Based on these results, cone shaped membrane-liquid phase microextraction method (CSM-LPME-HPLC) could be used to analyze DEHP in a PET plastic bottle of drinking water sample under mentioned kinds of circumstances with the concentration of 0.40, 0.53 and 0.76 ppm, respectively.
