The Article is an introductory exploration of loneliness experience of persons with mental disorders. The essential part of the essay are open interviews with persons which psychiatric diagnoses was defined as, paranoid schizophrenia. From the interviews result that the loneliness and isolation sense is universal attribute of persons which are struggling and coping with psychical disorders. The article also includes information pertinent to quantitative extent of the mental disorder problems in contemporary populations, terminology, and functions of a family and social environment not only in healing process but also individual daily life of disabled person. The Essay touch upon a problem of planned changes in the mental health care act and rights of patients. In the article also was included desirable policies worthy of implementation in the polish health service.
