FACTORS AFFECTING WASTE MANAGEMENT IN NORTH BUNTULIA VILLAGE, POHUWATO DISTRICT

F The fact remains that waste management is still not given proper attention and is inadequately handled by various parties, despite being a shared responsibility. Improper waste management can lead to numerous environmental issues such as flooding, global warming, and the outbreak of various diseases. This article aims to identify and describe the factors influencing waste management in North Buntulia Village, Pohuwato District. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing an interactive model analysis for data analysis. This model consists of three components: 1) Data reduction, 2) Data presentation, and 3) Data verification and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the factors influencing waste management include: 1) the size of the organization, 2) management style, 3) the complexity of the business environment, 4) the production process, and 5) the characteristics of the problems faced and the objectives of planning. This study recommends that the Regional Government of Pohuwato Regency.

This research aims to analyze the Village Head's Leadership, as was the initial argument in this research, that village officials and village heads are the lowest basis for community services. The high or low quality of the services provided does not only depend on the performance of village officials as subordinates, but also the leaders. A person's leadership will determine the progress or decline and life or death of the organization they lead. Village governments, like central and regional governments, are required to provide maximum service to the community and be able to respond to the increasingly high demands of the community, both in terms of quality and quantity. Considering the importance of leadership as a determining factor in the success or failure of an organization and business, this research aims to see how the Village Head's leadership efforts are in increasing the productivity of the performance of the apparatus and how the leadership of the Village Head is related to increasing the productivity of the performance of the Village Government Apparatus in North Marisa, Marisa sub-district, Pohuwato district. . With this type of qualitative research, the research informants are the village head and village officials, data collection using documentation techniques, observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis used consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the Head of North Marisa Village applies several approaches such as a democratic approach, this approach makes it easier for leaders to develop responsibilities such as involving employees in decision making, but not only that, the Head of North Marisa Village also applies other leadership approaches such as laissez leadership. faire (free reign) and charismatic. Then it is strengthened by several factors such as personal factors, team factors and leadership factors, and the most dominant of these three factors is the leadership factor because with the presence of a leader there is someone who provides encouragement, input and guidance to subordinates or officers in their work.

Village Head Leadership Function in Teratrai Village Marisa District Pohuwato

The purpose of this study is to find out the Leadership Function of the Village Head in Teratrai Village of Marisa District of Pohuwato District This research was carried out for approximately 2 months. This type of research author chooses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, which is research that aims to provide an overview of the application of the principle of good governance in The Lotus Village of Marisa District of Pohuwato Regency. Informants as many as 13 informants consisting of the village head and the device 11 people and the community 2 people. Research Results: 1) Instructive Function, Lotus Village Head has been shown through communication that has been built with the apparatus intensely so that this function takes place well, where the Village Head as the person in charge of the implementation of government in charge of the implementation of government communicates intensely with all the apparatus in the Village, through the implementation of the duties and functions of each apparatus. 2). Consultative Function, Implementation of the consultative function of the Lotus Village Head has been carried out well by the Village Head with all elements and apparatus as implementers of government administration in Lotus village. 3) Participation Function, Leadership of Lotus Village Head can be described through the partition function that in leading and carrying out the election in Lotus Village trying to involve people actively in the administration of government. Analisis Daya Saing Komoditas Jagung di Provinsi Gorontalo

According to the Central Statistics Agency for 2019-2021, the harvested area and area of ​​corn plants according to districts/cities, corn production comes from five districts, namely Bualemo district, Gorontalo district, Pohuwato district, Bone Bolango district, North Gorontalo district and Gorontalo city with a total of 377 432.00 ha in 2019, 304 945.00 ha in 2020, and 334 945.00 ha in 2021. By the end of 2022 it is predicted that 340,500 hectares or 27.38 percent of the entire Gorontalo land area will be planted with hybrid corn with a total harvest estimated at 1.61 million tons. This research uses qualitative methods, with primary data sources and secondary data. Corn productivity affects the net income of corn farmers apart from the selling price, where low productivity causes minimal harvest results, so the farmer's income is also low. Apart from that, fluctuations in corn prices are also an obstacle in increasing net income, when corn prices are high farmers get bigger profits. However, when the price of corn falls, farmers' income will also decrease. To increase the competitiveness of corn commodities in Gorontalo Province, it is necessary to invest in improving agricultural technology, opening wider market access, and providing greater government policy support. In this way, corn commodities in Gorontalo Province can become more competitive in both local and international markets.

The Influence of Emotional Intelligence, Job Competence, Education Level, Work Motivation, and Understanding of Good Governance on the Performance of Employees in the Inspectorate Unit of Pohuwato District

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, work competence, education level, work motivation and understanding of good governance on the performance of individual employees of the Pohuwato District Inspectorate. The data collection method used in this study was to distribute questionnaires which were measured using a Likert scale. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression models. The results showed that (1) emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on performance. (2) Work competence has no effect on performance (3) Education level has no effect on performance. (4) Work motivation has a positive effect on performance. (5) The understanding of good governance has no effect on the performance of the Pohuwato Regency Inspectorate Work Unit Employees.

Stunting Literacy Strategy for the Community using a Website-Based Media Platform

Stunting in toddlers is still a problem in Indonesia. Kalimas Village is one of the stunting village loci with a prevalence rate of 14.7 percent in Pohuwato District. Low community knowledge related to stunting and variations in complementary foods for children is one of the triggers for the high stunting rate in this village. Therefore, it is necessary to increase understanding related to handling stunting and its prevention. One strategy to increase understanding is to provide learning contents to improve stunting literacy through the development of a website that contains comprehensive stunting education articles and videos. In addition, educational videos on processing local food into additional food that has nutritional value for stunted children are also provided. With this educational website, the village can also publicize the potential of the village so that it can develop the existing village potential.

Implementation of Edu-Digital Websites and Local Food Interventions: Efforts to Improve Community Knowledge and Skills in Overcoming Stunting in Sari Murni Village, Pohuwato District

There is a high incidence of stunting in various villages across Indonesia these days. One of the reasons these problems are difficult to solve is the lack of knowledge and understanding by the community. The goal of the local food edu-digital website implementation program is to increase community knowledge of stunting and the use of local foods that can help overcome stunting in Sari Murni Village, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province. In this service program, three activities are carried out: 1) data collection for website content, 2) creation of local food edu-digital websites, and 3) website management training. Through this activity, we obtained (1) digital documentation consisting of text, images, and videos, and (2) an information sistem containing information about stunting, local food potential which can be overcome stunting, and local food processing methods, in addition to village information about development and activities.

The Impact of Cigarette Consumption on Poverty in Pohuwato District

This study aims to determine the impact of cigarette consumption on poverty levels in Pohuwato Regency by looking at how much influence and the chances of someone who smokes falling into poverty. The data used in this study are secondary data sourced from the results of SUSENAS KOR and KP in March 2021 at the Central Bureau of Statistics using the logit regression analysis method. The logit model aims to find the probability of an individual or household event falling into poverty or not. The analysis results show that the smoking variable has a significant effect with a greater chance of falling into poverty. This means that someone who smokes has a greater chance of falling into poverty than someone who does not smoke. More people who consume cigarettes will increase the likelihood of falling into poverty more than those who do not.

Application of Organizational Culture in the Police Unit of Pamong Praja (Satpol – PP) district of Pohuwato

The results of this study are a form of violation in the transportation and trade of subsidized fuel without a business license in Pohuwato Regency, namely: There are people who queue for subsidized fuel many times at gas stations, there are several vehicles that use modified tanks. so that it can accommodate more subsidized fuel, there are people who abuse business licenses, there are trucks that are queuing up, there are still retail traders. Law enforcement against the perpetrators of the crime of transporting and selling subsidized fuel in Pohuwato Regency, namely in 2017 there was one case that was tried. In 2019 there were 3 cases handled by the Pohuwato Police The suggestion in this study is that petrol stations should be more selective in selling subsidized fuel to consumers so as not to be misused. The local government should have collaborated with related parties to be more sensitive in handling retail fuel traders on the roadside. Peran Badan Permusyawaratan Desa dalam Mewujudkan Pembentukan Peraturan Desa yang Partisipatif di Kabupaten Pohuwato

This study aims to determine the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in drafting participatory village regulations in Pohuwato District. This is a normative and empirical research approach to literary studies, statutory approaches, case approaches and historical approaches. Data collected by literary study. The results of the research show that the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) and the drafting of village regulations have been carried out in a participatory way but not optimal due to several factors. Village regulations must be drawn up by the BPD, but village regulations are initiated and designed by the village head. The BPD lacks knowledge related to their duties and functions in village laws, mechanisms and processes for making participatory village regulations, and the BPD is not optimal in creating synergy with the community regarding participatory village regulation making. The rights of the community in Palopo Village have been participatory in making village regulations but not optimal as stipulated in Article 96 of Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning laws relating to public participation rights. The making of the Palopo village regulations insofar as it is carried out with the village of public consultation by community leaders as community representatives from each sub-village to convey the aspirations of the community in making village regulations in Palopo Village.

Detection of Vibrio sp. on vaname shrimp (Litopanaeus vannamei) cultivation pond in Gorontalo, Indonesia

Vibrio is a pathogenic bacteria that can attack cultured shrimp. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the intensity of water changes and efforts to control water quality to maintain dissolved oxygen levels and manage organic matter content in ponds to prevent the increase of pathogenic bacteria, especially Vibrio. In addition, water physicochemical factors can influence the presence and population of Vibrio bacteria in ponds. This study aims to determine the presence of Vibrio sp. in vaname shrimp culture ponds in Gorontalo, Indonesia. Descriptive quantitative analysis was used to analyze the data collected from this study. Shrimp pond water samples were obtained from shrimp ponds in Molosipat Village, West Popayato Sub-district, Pohuwato District, Gorontalo, Indonesia, using a purposive sampling technique with an interval of three days from the first water change to the last before the water change in one period (approximately 10 days). The water samples were subjected to physicochemical analysis, including temperature, pH, salinity, ammonia, nitrate, and dissolved oxygen. The results showed that there were Vibrio bacteria in the Thiosulfate Citrate BileSalt Sucrose Agar (TCBSA) medium with a population that tends to increase in the range of 1.0 × 103 - 2.7 × 104 CFU/mL. The isolation results showed that two isolates were named ISL1 and ISL2, with the colony morphology characters of ISL1 isolates being green and ISL2 isolates being yellow. The results of microscopic observations of the two isolates showed comma-shaped and gram-negative cells. Molecular identification using the 16S rRNA gene and reconstruction of the phylogenetic tree using the Neighbor-Joining algorithm showed that ISL1 isolate is very closely related to Vibrio parahaemolyticus strain 11-1 (relationship level 99%) and ISL2 is closely related to V. parahaemolyticus strain B2-1 (relationship level 86%).

The Effectiveness of Using LCD Projectors in Increasing Interest in Learning PAI Student of SMPN 3 Lemito Pohuwato District

The effectiveness of using LCD Projector media on interest in PAI learning in SMPN 3 Lemito students in Pohuwato Regency. Research on the use of LCD Projector media has been carried out by several researchers, but has a different object. This study will focus on the interest in learning PAI in students of SMPN 3 Lemito in Pohuwato Regency. The focus of this research is based on the problem of lack of interest in learning PAI in students of SMPN 3 Lemito in Pohuwato Regency. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have a learning support media, namely LCD Projector media that can effectively increase students' interest in PAI learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using LCD Projector media in increasing interest in PAI learning. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with data collection based on activity and learning effectiveness and statistics with the help of SPSS for windows version 17.00. The test was carried out on the results of the Pree-test and the results of the Post-test given that the average score of the students' Post-Test results after using the LCD Projector was 80.27 with a standard deviation of 10.423. The percentage of completeness reached 87.9% because it reached 29 students who completed. This means that the Post-Test results after using the LCD Projector media are in the complete category. so that the use of LCD Projector media is effective in increasing interest in learning PAI in students of SMPN 3 Lemito in Pohuwato Regency.

Utilization of the Coastal Area as a Settlement Area by the Bajo Tribe in Torosiaje Sea Village

This study aims to determine the role of the government in the utilization of the Coastal Area as a residential area by the Bajo tribal community in Torosiaje Sea Village. This research was conducted in Torosiaje Village, Popayato Subdistrict, Pohuwato Regency, District Land Service. Pohuwato, Department of Housing and Settlement Area of Pohuwato Regency, Department of Forestry Kab. Pohuwato, by determining the research sample includes: Head of Service, Village Head and the community of Torosiaje Sea Village, Pohuwato Regency. The data used are primary data, namely data obtained directly from the field using interview techniques, as well as secondary data in the form of observations and observations of data from related agencies. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis with inductive conclusion drawing. Employee Work Discipline at the Patilanggio Sub-District Office, Pohuwato Regency

The purpose of the study was to find out and obtain an overview of employee discipline at the Patilanggio sub-district office, Pohuwato district. The object of the research is the employee at the Patilanggio sub-district office, Pohuwato district. which this research was conducted for approximately 2 months, while the research design, the authors used qualitative methods, with research informants 10 informants. The results showed that employee discipline through the role of leaders at the Patilanggio sub-district office, Pohuwato district, was seen in the implementation of the implementation through services provided by civil servants at the Patilanggio sub-district office, which had been carried out together. Employees who are spearheading public services at the Patilanggio sub-district office always carry out their duties and functions in accordance with their duties and functions and based on applicable regulations. Employees are given motivation in improving all services provided to the community, it cannot be separated from the role of all elements of leadership, especially in building a conducive work climate and pleasing employees in carrying out their responsibilities. The encouragement given by the leadership to subordinates can grow in giving birth to initiative in carrying out their work. Overall, employees have the responsibility to achieve the organizational goals of the Patilanggio sub-district office, Pohuwato district. The third dimension of the work discipline of employees at the Patilanggio sub-district office is the enforcement of discipline through their daily activities.

Faktor Pengaruh dalam Pembentukan Permukiman Kumuh di Desa Pohuwato Timur

<p class="Abstract"><em>Pohuwato Timur Village is included in several slum areas in Pohuwato District. Most of the residents' houses in this area have low building quality, high building density, narrow road space, poor condition of drainage channels, and accumulation and pollution of river waste. The society also has unhealthy behavior by disposing their solid waste in the river and by using the embankment as the toilet. This research aims at investigating the condition of slums and the factors that influence the creation of slums. The results of the identification and analysis are used as guidelines in making directions for handling regional structuring. Identification of slum conditions is carried out on five indicators. The research method applies a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and observations. The identification results show that in general, it is a medium slum area. The results of the analysis show that residential buildings, environmental roads, drainage channels, wastewater disposal, and solid waste management simultaneously affect the slum conditions of the area, while partially only drainage and waste channels affect the slum conditions of the area. The direction of the arrangement is carried out with a pattern of handling resettlement with the principle of On-site Reblocking arrangement, as well as repair and arrangement of facilities and infrastructure of drainage and waste channels.</em></p>

Sweet Orange Agribusiness Development Potential in Banuroja Village, Randangan District, Pohuwato Regency

This investigation was carried out in Banuroja Village, Randangan Sub-Area, and the Pohuwato district of Tanzania. Specifically, the goal of this research was to identify the potential for orange agribusiness development in Banuroja Village, Randangan Subdistrict, and Pohuwato District, as well as to choose methods for growing oranges in these locations. The research was carried out on 40 orange growers in the area. The findings revealed that the orange agribusiness has significant potential and development opportunities. Averaging Rp. 26,694,471.00 every harvest period, orange farmers earn an average of Rp. 26,694,471.00 per harvest season, with a revenue-to-cost ratio of 4.13. Following the identification and mapping of internal and external strategic elements, the findings indicate that rationalization or stability should be the top priority approach.

The formulation of the problem in this research is how the teacher's role in applying student discipline in the Civics learning process in applying student discipline to the learning process at SDN 03 Randangan, Pohuwato Regency. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine the role of teachers in applying student discipline in the learning process of Civics at SDN 03 Randangan, Pohuwato Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation as well as data analysis techniques, display data reduction and conclusions. Based on the results of the study that the teacher's role in implementing student discipline in the Civics learning process at SDN 03 Randangan, Pohuwato district, the teacher has a role as a learning resource, facilitator, class manager, demonstrator, mentor, motivator and evaluator. good relations between students and teachers, providing guidance to students who are less disciplined and informing students about their position in school, for example, as students, they must respect teachers and show good discipline. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the teacher's role in applying student discipline to the Civics learning process at SDN 03 Randangan, Pohuwato district is good.

Responsivitas Pelayanan Publik (Studi Kasus Pelayanan Pasien BPJS Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Pohuwato

The responsiveness of BPJS Patient Services at the Pohuwato District General Hospital is based on six indicators according to Zeithaml as follows: This responsiveness indicator includes attitudes and good communication from officers (doctors or nurses) of the Pohuwato District General Hospital to patients. Good attitude and communication from doctors or nurses at the Pohuwato District General Hospital is good, this is shown by a friendly, polite, and empathetic attitude shown by doctors and nurses to patients. This service accuracy indicator relates to the alertness and sincerity in answering patient questions and fulfilling patient requests at the Pohuwato District General Hospital which includes the readiness of doctors or nurses to answer questions and fulfill patient requests, the sincerity of doctors or nurses in answering questions and fulfilling patient requests is classified as good. This can be seen in the results of the interview, namely the existence of patients who feel comfortable being cared for because the services provided are swift and sincere.
