Pengaruh Likuiditas Dan Profitabilitas Terhadap Harga Saham Dengan Nilai Perusahaan Sebagai Variabel Moderasi Pada Perusahaan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit Di BEI Tahun 2019-2022

This study aims to determine how the influence of Financial Ratios (Liquidity and Profitability) with Company Value as a moderating variable on Stock Prices in palm oil plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The data used in this study are secondary. The method of data collection is by collecting annual financial reports (Annual Report) on the website www.idx.co.id and the company's official website. The population in this study were all 25 palm oil plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a sample of 8 palm oil plantation sector companies with a total of 32 company financial data. Calculation of statistical values using Eviews12. This research can be a reference and decision-making for academics and practitioners in analyzing the influence of liquidity and profitability on stock prices and company value as moderating variables. The results of the study show that liquidity has a positive and significant effect on Stock Prices, Profitability has a negative and significant effect on Stock Prices, Company Value can moderate the relationship between Liquidity and Stock Prices, Company Value can moderate the relationship between Profitability and Stock Prices. The limitation of this research is the existence of research samples which are still minimal, so it is recommended for further research to increase the number of research samples in order to obtain more accurate and comprehensive results.

Assessing Key Constraints in Cashew Production: Insights from Kerala and Tamil Nadu, India

India ranks among the world’s top cashew producers, with Kerala and Tamil Nadu serving as key contributors to the country's cashew production. Among the Plantation sector, specifically cashew cultivation plays a pivotal role in boosting farm economy in India. This particular study explores field constraints experienced by cashew growers in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, which significantly impacts cashew cultivation. The key objective is to compare field challenges experienced by cashew growers among major producers in southern regions of India. The methodology involves a purposive multi-stage sampling approach to select regions, with an equal proportion of 80 respondents from each state selected through simple random sampling. Totally, 160 cashew growers were investigated for data collection through pre-tested structured interview schedule. The data sets were analysed using SPSS software, with frequency and percentage analysis employed to rank the identified constraints. The significant findings were pest and disease infestations, labour scarcity, unstable market price, lack of technical know-how and inadequate processing facilities. Notably, 100 per cent of growers reported that, Cashew Stem and Root Borer (CSRB) infestation as a most critical issue in both states. This paper highlights, region-specific and timely technical interventions, commodity-specific assured markets, proper pricing system and infrastructure development. The study's interpretation highlights the need to address high-priority and specialized constraints through targeted policy reforms and technical support systems, aiming to enhance the productivity and sustainability of cashew farming in India. These findings also provide valuable insights that can be applied to other cashew-producing regions and contribute to shaping national agricultural policies.

Peran Struktur Modal dan Profitabilitas dalam Meningkatkan Nilai Perusahaan Sektor Perkebunan Indonesia

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of capital structure and profitability on the value of companies in the plantation sector. Using a quantitative approach, a sample of 15 agricultural sector companies was selected through purposive sampling. The data analysis method employed multiple. linear regression using secondary data from the companies' financial reports. The testing results using SPSS 27 revealed that, partially, the capital. structure, as proxied by the Debt. to Equity Ratio (DER), does not have an effect on the value of the company. Profitability does influence the value of the company. Both capital structure and. profitability simultaneously affect the value of the company. The R² coefficient test result was 0.612, indicating that 61.2% of the independent. variables' ability to explain the dependent. variable is quite significant.

Economic Influences on Plantation Sector Stock Prices in Malaysia: A Quantile Regression Approach

This study aims to examine the relationship between microeconomic, sentiment, and macroeconomic variables across three quantiles (q25, q50, and q75) of stock prices in the Malaysian plantation sector. This study used Earnings per share (EPS) and return on equity (ROE) as the proxy for microeconomic variables, consumer sentiment index (CSI), and business condition index (BCI) as the proxy for sentiment variables, while inflation (INF which proxy from consumer price index) and exchange rate (ER, RM/USD) as the proxy for macroeconomic variables. Using a panel dataset covering 32 listed companies in plantation sector from 2008Q3 to 2023Q3. Result of quantile regression indicates that EPS, BCI, INF have a consistently positive and statistically significant relationship with stock prices across all quantiles. ROE has a mixed impact, with a positive relationship at the 25th and 50th quantile, but with a negative relationship at the 75th quantile. Furthermore, CSI and ER have a consistently negative and statistically significant relationship with stock prices across all quantiles.

Spatial Analysis of Regional Planning Related to Moratorium Right to Cultivate (Plantation) in Indonesia

Indonesia is a country that is blessed by Allah Swt with a very large expanse of space and territory and is located on the equator surrounded by the sea. This is a natural resource that is very rarely owned by other countries, where the sun shines every year with high humidity. These resources are controlled by the state and used as much as possible for the welfare of the community. One of the related natural resources is plants that can grow well in the area. Oil palm is a plant originating from West Africa that is very suitable for growing in the equatorial area. Currently, Indonesia is the largest producer of palm oil in the world. The greatest utilization of this blessing are for the welfare of the community and based on sustainable Regional Spatial Planning. On its implementation the Regional Spatial Planning has been divided according to its function and sustainability. This condition is contrary to the current government policy, where the government has implemented a moratorium policy on new business use rights for the Plantation sector. The regulation was Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 8 of 2018. The purpose of the Moratorium is to control the deforestation of Primary Forests and also improve the Governance of Oil Palm Plantations. In its implementation, there are indeed successes and weaknesses. Successes are mainly in holding back the rate of deforestation or forest encroachment. The weakness is that in terms of Regional Spatial Planning, there should still be many areas that can be used for developing plantation land, especially unproductive and non-forest areas. So that the ideals of improving the welfare of the community can be truly realized.

The cost of producing tea has escalated dramatically over the years, severely impacting profitability and leading to financial instability for many growers. Additionally, climate change has introduced further complications, resulting in unpredictable weather patterns, increased pest infestations, and damage to plantation infrastructure. These factors have not only diminished productivity but have also jeopardized the sustainability of the entire sector. To address these issues, a multifaceted approach is necessary. Implementing a support price mechanism can stabilize incomes for growers, while crop diversification can enhance revenue generation and reduce dependency on a single crop. Moreover, investing in skill development programs tailored to the needs of the plantation workforce is vital, enabling workers to adapt to value-added production processes. Strengthening worker welfare through the enforcement of the Plantation Labour Act and improving access to education and healthcare in remote plantation areas are also crucial. Collaborative efforts between government entities and plantation stakeholders can lead to enhanced infrastructure, better access to technology, and educational opportunities, ensuring a resilient and sustainable plantation sector that benefits both producers and local communities alike. By prioritizing these strategies, the plantation industry in Kerala can navigate its current challenges and pave the way for a more sustainable and prosperous future

Risk Analysis of Conveyor Material Handling in the Production Process of Crude Palm Oil and Palm Kernel Oil with FMECA and FTA Methods

Oil palm is one type of plantation crop that occupies an important position in the agricultural sector and the plantation sector, and is a mainstay commodity of Indonesia whose development is very rapid. Good Material Handling is minimizing material handling costs, minimizing disruption or risk and delays in the production process. One of the companies engaged in the palm oil industry is PT. BSI which is a company engaged in the palm fruit processing industry. The products produced are crude palm oil (CPO), kernel, and fiber which implement a material handling system. However, the material handling process that is applied still experiences disturbances whose risks have an impact on the production process. So that researchers want to know the value of material handling risks that occur at PT.BSI with FMECA and FTA methods. The results of this study are at the risk identification stage using the FMECA method obtained six lists of risks that have an RPN value above 200 this is included in the very high and Unacceptable category. Then after further analysis using the FMECA method also that the six risks have decreased where the RPN value is less than 180 so that it is included in the high and tolerable categories. Then for the FTA analysis that the problem of these risks, namely conveyor trips and conveyor blockages, needs to be checked on a regularly scheduled conveyor leaf and implement a routine maintenance schedule and provide training to operators before carrying out work.

Community Development Programs on Palm Oil Plantation Industry in Aceh Tamiang - Indonesia: the Participation of Opinion Leaders in Information Governance

Understanding the different disputes that have occurred in the Aceh Tamiang oil palm plantation sector requires a communication strategy focused on teaching ideals that are in harmony with community social life. The study of plantation disputes in Aceh Tamiang demonstrates how the function of opinion leaders from formal actors as corporate spokespersons opens up communication channels that have previously been blocked. The community can express its desired ambitions to the firm through opinion leaders that the company has deployed. The business also takes formal village actors into account as opinion leaders in order to comprehend the needs and circumstances of its citizens. “Datok Penghulu”, the local chief, was officially selected by the corporation to serve as its public relations representative. This opinion leader's function as a company spokesperson at least includes creating community development (CD) initiatives, coordinating CD initiatives with the company, and promoting programs to the community.

Kebijakan Pemerintah dalam Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam: Studi Kasus Indonesia

This study shows that government policies face major challenges in managing natural resources in Indonesia, especially in the fields of fisheries, plantations and mining. Government policies in managing natural resources must be implemented optimally, fairly, sustainably and environmentally friendly. In the fisheries sector, government policies must pay attention to the principles of sustainability, setting fishing quotas and protecting marine protected areas. However, implementation often faces complex regulatory challenges and resistance from industry stakeholders. In the plantation sector, government policies must ensure that plantation business activities can run optimally and provide benefits to the surrounding community. The administrative sanctions imposed must be more effective than just fines. In the mining sector, government policies must consider land rights and mining rights. Mineral rights do not eliminate rights to the land above them and must be regulated based on an agreement between the parties involved. Possible solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of policy implementation include improving coordination between government institutions and increasing institutional capacity. Community participation in decision making is also an important element in sustainable natural resource management.

PENGARUH STRUKTUR MODAL, ALOKASI PAJAK, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP EARNING RESPONSE COEFFICIENT (ERC) PADA INDUSTRI PERKEBUNAN

This research aims to analyze the influence of Capital Structure, Tax Allocation, and Company Size on the Earning Response Coefficient (ERC). The population used in this research is plantation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2018 - 2022 period. The sample in this study was determined using a purposive sampling method and came from 22 plantation companies, so the total The sample amounted to 110 samples. Data processing was carried out using the multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS software version 20. The results of the study showed that partially the Capital Structure variable had a negative and significant effect on the ERC, the Tax Allocation variable had a positive and significant effect on the ERC and the Company Size variable has a negative and significant effect on the ERC. The research results also show that Capital Structure, Tax Allocation, and Company Size simultaneously have a significant effect on the ERC

Wine Coffee as an Edu-tourism in Banyuwangi: An Organoleptic Test

Banyuwangi is one of the districts where the plantation sector with coffee supports economic activities as the main commodity. Coffee productivity in Banyuwangi is included in the top five categories in East Java Province, and its production has been exported to various countries. The coffee-producing center in Banyuwangi is in Kalipuro District, precisely in Gombengsari. This area is famous for its coffee production with Robusta coffee. The coffee processing process in Gombengsari is limited to coffee beans which are converted into powder or sold in the form of drinks. This research aims to determine the level of preference and organoleptic tests for fermented coffee, commonly known as wine coffee, and to determine the caffeine content in it. Based on laboratory test results, the coffee wine content is 1.1066 ± 0.0102%. The test result is lower compared to the caffeine content in regular coffee of 1, 1843 ± 0.0468%. The preference test of 40 untrained panelists resulted in 72.5% of panelists liking pure wine coffee and 75% liking wine coffee with added sugar. Meanwhile, the results of organoleptic test for pure wine coffee showed that the hedonic aroma test was the most preferred for wine coffee with the addition of sugar. The results were obtained for the best scores in the aroma, taste, sweetness level, and liking level tests. Keywords: Banyuwangi, coffee, coffee wine, edu-tourism

Model of partnership in sustainable palm oil: efforts to increase partnerships in the palm oil business in Indonesia

Purpose A partnership model is necessary for palm oil plantations’ sustainability. The developed model does not identify the optimal technique for smallholder palm oil because it faces complex challenges. This study aims to determine a partnership model for sustainable palm oil plantation business in Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach Qualitative research methods were used, and data analysis was performed using NVivo 12 Plus software, which helps improve the accuracy of qualitative studies and provides implications for evidence-based studies. All respondents, whether through surveys, interviews or focus group discussions, understood their contributions to this research and provided consent. Findings The results indicate that the core–plasma partnership pattern implemented by companies needs to be considered a relevant model for partnerships in the Indonesian palm oil industry. Social networks play a role in implementing this partnership pattern, which is influenced by the diversity of the actors involved. However, complexity arises from the dynamics of power and position among these actors, which demands increased interaction and mutual trust. Therefore, various dimensions must be considered, including plantation management, product marketing, cultivation techniques and sustainable development. Research limitations/implications The research results have limitations, particularly regarding access to information for company policymakers, because there remains complexity related to the position and dominance of power between actors, which influences the achievement of common goals. A more complex analysis is needed to produce complete research. Further studies are required to provide a more comprehensive explanation of the humanist approach in the context of palm plantations. Originality/value This study provides an important theoretical implementation: a more humane approach through a partnership model that adds value and is based on aspects of morality in implementing partnerships in the palm oil plantation sector. It also provides new and substantial insights regarding practical implementation for policymakers and practitioners who want to improve partnership practices in sustainable palm oil businesses by implementing value-added and morality-based partnership models in Indonesia as well as other developing countries.

Analysis of Community Participation Level in the Community Empowerment Program of Gold Mining Company

Mining companies play an important role in creating sustainable communities around their operational areas. PT ANTAM Tbk UBP Emas (ANTAM UBP Emas), located in Bantar Karet Village, Nanggung District, Bogor Regency, focuses on the exploration of mineral resources, particularly gold and silver. The surrounding community generally works in the agriculture, plantation, home industry, and fishery sectors. This study aims to analyze: (i) community empowerment program activities run by the company, (ii) the level of community participation in empowerment program planning, (iii) the level of community participation in program implementation, (iv) the level of community participation in the utilization of program results, and (v) the level of community participation in empowerment program evaluation. The research design used is qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the level of community participation in the empowerment program which includes the stages of planning, implementation, utilization of results, and evaluation still needs to be improved. ANTAM UBP Emas needs to evaluate mentoring methods, implement training programs, and capacity building for group members as an effort to accelerate the increase in participation to achieve the level of Citizen Power participation, so that this program can become a means of corporate exit strategy in accordance with the needs and context of the community.

ANALISIS GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DALAM PENGELOLAAN BUMDes DESA LALANG LUAS KECAMATAN V KOTO KABUPATEN MUKO MUKO

Lalang Luas Village in V Koto District, Muko Muko Regency, has a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in the plantation sector, namely oil palm plantations as a business unit. However, the management did not go well because the funds available for management were not utilized properly. The aim of this research is to determine the leadership style in managing BUMDes in Lalang Luas Village, V Koto District, Muko Muko Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the research show that BUMDes leaders in leading BUMDes in Lalang Luas Village have not completely gone well. Where BUMDes leaders do not dare to make decisions so that the existing funds for BUMDes management are not utilized as well as possible. Then, the lack of responsibility of leaders in leading BUMDes so that BUMDes business units are not managed well and the lack of knowledge and experience of BUMDes leaders also influences the less than optimal management of BUMDes. Stenotrophomonas maltophilia G17: Potential antifungal agent isolated from the gut of black soldier fly larvae against Ganoderma boninense

Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is the primary source of foreign exchange in Indonesia's plantation sector. However, these plants are very vulnerable to attack by Ganoderma spp., which causes basal stem rot (BSR) and upper stem rot (USR) disease, resulting in significant economic losses. In this study, antagonistic assays of the G17 isolate obtained from the gut of black soldier fly (BSF) larvae showed potential biocontrol against G. boninense. Furthermore, antibiosis assays showed that the Stenotrophomonas maltophilia G17 isolate inhibited the growth of G. boninense by up to 85.56%–91.98%. Molecular identification using 16S rRNA, reinforced by biochemical characterization tests, confirmed the G17 isolate as S. maltophilia. Growth test results showed that S. maltophilia G17 cannot grow at a temperature of 37 °C within 24 h. The isolate also exhibited negative hemolytic activity, indicating it is not a pathogenic bacterium. S. maltophilia G17 exhibited lytic enzymes such as proteolytic, lipolytic, and chitinolytic activity. Among them, chitinolytic enzymes might be involved in the biocontrol process.

Strategy for Increasing Exports of Indonesian Palm Oil

Abstract Palm oil and its derivatives contribute to 13% of Indonesia’s total exports. Indonesia has a significant opportunity to become a major player in the global palm oil trade but faces threats in expanding market access and even maintaining existing markets. This research aims to analyse the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the plantation sector, especially palm oil, in Indonesia, using competitiveness analysis and Export Product Dynamic to formulate strategies for enhancing the export of palm products and derivatives. From this analysis, it is concluded that Indonesia has strength in its geographic conditions, but needs to strengthen human resources, especially in the agricultural sector, and add value to export commodities beyond raw materials. With the growth of the international market and the increase in the number of free trade agreements held by Indonesia, the potential for developing market access for palm and its derivatives is likely to expand. However, Indonesia also faces non-tariff barriers and environmental unfriendliness stigma, resulting in rejection or obstacles for Indonesian products to enter export destination countries. Strategies to be explored further include expanding into emerging markets while maintaining traditional markets, optimizing research and development for upstream efficiency and downstream derivative product diversification, improving sustainable palm oil industry governance, and enhancing domestic policies to support the palm oil industry.

The Nexus Between Human Capital Efficiency and Financial Performance: A Case of Malaysian Plantation Sector

This research discusses “The Impacts of Human Capital Efficiency on Financial Performance in the Malaysian Plantation Sector," which seeks to investigate the correlation between human capital efficiency and financial performance within the Malaysian plantation sector. The study employs a sample of twenty (20) Malaysian Plantation companies using STATA 14 for panel data analysis. The results demonstrate a strong correlation between human capital efficiency and financial performance. Companies that have higher human capital efficiency tend to have better financial performance, as indicated by metrics such as return on assets, asset turnover ratio, and leverage. These findings highlight the significance of efficiently overseeing and utilizing human resources to influence financial results in the plantation sector. The study focuses on the importance of investing in the development and optimization of human capital to improve financial performance. Additional research is advised to investigate other factors that may impact on this association and to evaluate the applicability of the findings to different nature of businesses and environments.

Strategies for improving independent oil palm smallholders’ welfare in Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi

Abstract The oil palm plantation sector in Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, plays a vital role in the regional economy: absorbing labour, encouraging economic growth, and improving oil palm smallholders’ welfare. The welfare of independent oil palm smallholders (farmers) has not been maximized, even though smallholders are faced with fulfilling their basic household needs. This research aims to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and provide strategies for improving the welfare of independent palm oil smallholders in Konawe Regency. This study used primary data (interviews, observations, focus group discussions, and documentation) and secondary data (literature review). SWOT analysis was used to determine the factors of opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses and formulate strategies to improve independent oil palm smallholders’ welfare. The research findings show that weaknesses and opportunities are the main priorities for strengthening smallholder welfare. Factors affecting the welfare of smallholders are the quality and selling price of fresh fruit bunches, oil palm workers and farmers’ skills, production costs, maintenance of oil palm plantations, and oil palm farming institutions. As for the results of the SWOT analysis, the primary strategy is the formation and enhancement of the role of independent oil palm smallholder institutions in Konawe Regency.

Analysis of Land Tax in The Plantation Sector Viewed from Islamic Economic Leaders

This research is concerned with how land and building taxes affect the plantation sector in Indonesia by following one of the economic thought leaders Abu Yusuf in achieving justice. The researchers applied literature research or content analysis. Land and Building Tax for the Plantation Sector in Indonesia is seen from the point of view of Abu Yusuf because the idea will create justice for taxpayers, even though the tax must be paid 0.5% based on the Sales Value of the Tax Object (NJOP). The muqasamah system presented by Abu Yusuf pays more attention to details, starting from the type of land, soil fertility, irrigation, seasons, and price fluctuations at harvest, to ensure fairness in tax collection. If the muqasamah system is implemented in Indonesia, which has the character of an agrarian country, then state revenue from the plantation sector tax will have great potential. The concept put forward by Abu Yusuf is still very relevant to Indonesia, particularly in land and building taxes in the plantation sector. Therefore, the concept of Abu Yusuf can be considered by the Indonesian government in establishing policies related to land and building taxes in the plantation sector nationally

Cocoa is one of the leading commodities in the plantation sector which has an important role and contributes greatly to Indonesia's export activities. Cocoa has the potential to improve the country's economy through international trade between Indonesia and its destination market, the United States, which is known as a world cocoa beans importer. Part of the cocoa that is processed and used as this research material is cocoa beans. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence the export of Indonesian cocoa beans to the United States. The method used is a multiple linear regression analysis method using SPSS software using variables that are processed. These variables are world cocoa bean prices, Indonesian cocoa bean export prices to the United States market, cocoa bean export prices to competing countries (Ecuador), Indonesia's real GDP, GDP real United States, Population of Indonesia and the United States, and Productivity of cocoa beans.
