The increase in global agricultural production generates a considerable amount of agriculture wastes which constitutes nuisance of environment’s population health and contributing in the global greenhouse gas (GHG) emission. However, well-managed waste mitigates these countries GHGs emissions. This chapter provides an overview of the different types of waste from agricultural activities; their composition and their sustainable management for a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This review highlights the importance of sustainable management of agricultural waste for limiting greenhouse gas emissions by analyzing their contribution to improve the physicochemical properties; soil fertility and their role in order to enhance the capacity of soils to sequester organic carbon.
