Cognitive-value aspect of the processof formation of cognitive consciousness as a wayof spiritual and practical existence of society. – Article.The article raises an important problem about theso-called «rationalization» of modern societies, thefunctionalization of social relations, the displacementof spiritual and value components of human existencewith the negative consequences of its dehumanization.We are talking about the possibility of establishing a newsocial «cognitive order», which extremely normalizes andregulates the social behavior of citizens. In Ukrainiansociety, such processes are just beginning and they arepresented in the aspect of «pragmatic» solution of issuesor «political expediency» according to a certain rationallogic. The article raises the actual question that modernsociety in its scientific, technological and informationtechnologicalprogress should develop the cognitiveconsciousness of citizens in such a way that it’s cognitiveand value aspect is not lost. And cognitive consciousnessitself as cognitive-value in the aspect of acquiringpractical knowledge and skills should turn into one of themain means of spiritual and practical life of society of theXXI century.The article analyzes the connection of cognitive and«cognitive structure» with communicative processes andhuman communication, because only in this connection docommunicative interactions acquire cognitive value andcan translate the meaning, correspondence and meaningof practical knowledge. The spiritual and practical aspect,this is often interpreted as «perfection», coming from the«communicative ethics» of communication in semioticand semantic expression. On the cognitive side, this iscognitive-ethical authenticity, which is the essence ofcognitive consciousness.The direct alternative correlation of «ethics of selfimprovement» and «ethical pragmatism» is considered,and it is shown that in such a binary opposition, thespiritual and practical existence of a person and societyis created, as well as the social cognitive consciousnesscorresponding to this existence. The implementation ofpractical knowledge on a creative and implementationbasis is necessary for the development of the personhimself, in the cognitive aspect-for his self-improvementand cognitive-value self-affirmation. Thus, accordingto the author, social existence becomes a meaningfulhuman existence, an object for practical knowledge andself-knowledge, subject cognitive actions to create amore perfect social reality. More specifically, «cognitivereality» with the corresponding cognitive consciousnessof highly intelligent citizens with their own personalvalue preferences.
