Indicators of motivation are extremely important to the learning and teaching process. The researcher uses a quantitative correlational type, which is research that aims to determine whether there is a relationship between two variables or several variables, and from the results of the conclusion that the relationship between these two aspects has a low impact, only 12.3% of all aspects that can affect the Academic achievement of female students. among female students at Darul Ulum University Banyuanyar Pamekasan. Laravel Framework-Based Parenting Application

Parenting is an important and crucial thing to do because it will affect the personality, cognitive, and socio-emotional formation of children. Many studies have proven that parenting style influences the child's growth process. Therefore, the role of parents is very important at this time. The times and technological advances can be used to develop innovations that can help parents determine the right parenting style for their children. To provide a solution to this problem, the researcher conducted research and development of this Laravel Framework-Based Parenting Application, which aims to make it easy for parents to access credible information related to the world of parenting. The purpose this study is to 1.) Develop parenting applications based on Laravel Framework; (2) Calculate the feasibility of the Laravel Framework-based parenting application. This research was developed using the research and development methods by Borg and Gall, includes ten steps. Respondents in this study were determined through a random sampling technique. Testing the validity of the instrument in this study used the Pearson product moment correlation formula which was calculated using SPSS 25. The finding shows that the Laravel Framework-Based Parenting Application has been well developed and deserves to be implemented and distributed to the public. The paper also described the result of each tested categories.

The Correlation Between Emotional Intelligence and Speaking Skill of EFL Students

This study aimed to find the correlation between Students’ Emotional Intelligence and students’ speaking skill at the eighth grades of SMP Islam Nurul Haq Batam. In this study, the population was 50 students, and the samples were 30 students. The researcher employed simple random sampling for technique sampling. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaires to assess students’ emotional intelligence adapted from HRB (Health Research Board) by NHS London Leadership Academy (2014), which consisted of 29 items of questions, and the speaking test was to measure students’ speaking skill. The researcher used the Shapiro-Wilk formula to test the normality of the data and Hartley's test to verify the homogeneity of the data before assessing the hypothesis. To determine the relationship between the two variables researched, the researcher used the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation formula. The result of this research showed that rcount was higher than rtable (0.468> 0.361), with a significance level of 0.05; n = 30. It signified that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, whilst the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. In decision, there was a considerable relationship between emotional intelligence and students’ speaking skill. Teachers should emphasize emotional intelligence in students' learning to enhance speaking skills.

Prediction Of Soccer Playing Ability from Selected Fundamental Skill Performances and Anthropometric Measurements of Soccer Players

The intension of the study was prediction of soccer playing ability from selected fundamental skill performances and anthropometric measurements of soccer players. To attain this aim, the investigator selected one hundred and sixty male inter-collegiate level Bangalore north university soccer players as subjects. Random group design was used for this investigation, as it is considered most suitable. The age of the selected subjects ranged from eighteen to twenty five years. In this study one criterion (soccer playing ability) and eight determinant variables are included. Pearson product moment correlation was utilized to verify the association between criterion (soccer playing ability) and determinant shooting ability, dribbling ability, passing ability, height, weight, leg length, calf girth and thigh girth variables respectively. The relationship between criterion and determinant variables as well as inter-correlations among determinant variables was calculated by using Pearson product-moment correlation formula. To test the hypothesis 0.05 level of confidence was fixed. The selected fundamental skill performance and anthropometric measurements such as shooting ability, calf girth, dribbling ability and weight were highly significantly correlated with soccer playing ability of Bangalore north university affiliated inter collegiate level soccer players.

The Correlation Between High School Students Vocabulary Mastery And Writing Ability

The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between students' writing abilities and their vocabulary knowledge. The method of this research is quantitative using two instruments: a 30-item multiple choice vocabulary test and a writing competency test using descriptive paragraphs. To analyze it, the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Formula is used to identify it. The research sample consisted of 36 middle schools students at 8 grade. The results of research regarding the relationship between vocabulary mastery and writing ability of middle schools students in science class show that there is a low relationship and show that the research hypothesis is proven. Based on this research, students should learn and use their vocabulary skills more to become a good writer.

Relationship between Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) and Technology Integration Self Efficacy (TISE) of Biology Teachers

High school biology teachers' good TPACK and TISE abilities will affect students' Biology learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the TPACK and TISE abilities of high school biology teachers in Banda Aceh City. this research is a survey research with a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population in this study were all high school biology teachers in Banda Aceh City and using the total sampling method, the total sample was 49 high school biology teachers. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires, interviews and observations. The TPACK questionnaire contains 36 question items and the TISE questionnaire contains 28 question items. For interviews there are 25 question items. TPACK observations contain 28 observation items and TISE contains 14 observation items. For correlation values between TPACK and TISE, the Pearson Product Moment correlation formula is used. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant and positive correlation between the TPACK and TISE abilities of biology teachers at public high schools in Banda Aceh City

The Influence of Modified Hanging Ball Device on Volleyball Spike Performance in the Ngestiboga PWD Team

This study aims to answer the following questions: (1) Does the hanging ball modification tool influence the results of volleyball smashes in the Ngestiboga PWD volleyball team? (2) To what extent does the hanging ball influence the results of volleyball smashes in the Ngestiboga PWD team? This research is a quantitative study using a one-group pretest-posttest design and quasi-experimental approach. Ten members of the Ngestiboga PWD volleyball team were used as the research sample. The sampling method employed was total sampling. The validity testing steps of the research instrument included testing the ability of volleyball smashes and using the Pearson product-moment correlation formula, which yielded an observed correlation coefficient (r) > the tabulated correlation coefficient (r-table) at 5%, namely 0.760 > 0.632, and a two-tailed Sig. value of 0.0011 < 0.05, indicating the accuracy of the data. The reliability test using Cronbach's alpha resulted in a high interpretation value of 0.805. Paired Sample T-test was used as the data analysis technique, along with homogeneity and homogeneity of variance tests as prerequisites for the Shapiro-Wilk normality test. The results of this study showed that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted (calculated t-value > tabulated t-value = 19.532 > 2.306). To draw conclusions, it is important to note that: (1) The hanging ball modification tool influences the results of volleyball smashes in the Ngestiboga PWD team. (2) The R Square value of 0.116 according to the linear regression test. The percentage of the impact of the Ngestiboga PWD team's reaction to the hanging ball modification on volleyball smash results is 11.6%, and 88.4% is influenced by other factors.

Korelasi Penguasaan Kosakata dengan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Kartika Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the relationship between vocabulary skills and news text writing skills. The study involved a sample of class VIII students at SMP Kartika 1-5 Pekanbaru. The research is quantitative, using correlation as the method. The data used consists of objective tests and performance evaluations. The results of the data analysis indicate that the student's vocabulary mastery level was classified as good, with an average of 74.636, while their ability to write news texts was also classified as good, with an average of 77.634. The data analysis reveals a significant relationship between vocabulary skills and news text writing skills. This relationship is evident from the correlation coefficient value tested using the Pearson product-moment correlation formula. The calculations demonstrate that the value of the count is 0.962, which is greater than r table (0.2681), indicating a genuine correlation between variable X and variable Y. According to the interpretation table for correlation levels, this falls into the high category, within the scale of 0.80-1.00. Hypothesis testing using the t-test and f-test, with a 95% confidence level and degrees of freedom (dk) = n-2, yielded values of 4.761 > 1.675 and 653.343 > 4.02, respectively. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, as the hypothesis testing results prove a significant positive correlation of 96.2% between vocabulary skills and news text writing skills among class VIII students of SMP Kartika 1-5 Pekanbaru. Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Inklusi Keuangan Rumah Tangga Dengan Jaringan Sosial (Network) Sebagai Variabel Moderating


 The research was conducted aiming to determine the effect of financial literacy on household financial inclusion with social networks as a moderating variable for the poor in Blora Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive research where the research subjects are the poor people of Blora Regency, amounting to 391 respondents. Sampling was carried out using probability sampling with stratified random sampling technique. The process of collecting data is carried out by means of a questionnaire or questionnaire which is distributed to every house that has received a lottery number as a sample. The validity test technique uses the pearson product moment correlation formula. Data analysis used is hierarchical regression using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The research results obtained include. First, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the financial inclusion of poor households in Blora Regency. Second, social networks have a positive and significant impact on the financial inclusion of poor households in Blora Regency. Third, social networks strengthen the relationship between financial literacy and the financial inclusion of poor households in Blora Regency.

Compliance with directly-observed therapy short course regimen and recovery from pulmonary tuberculosis among clients of an infectious disease hospital

Background: The aim of this study was to assess the compliance with directly-observed therapy short course (DOTS)-regimen and recovery from pulmonary tuberculosis among clients of infectious Diseases Hospital, Ikot Ekpene, Nigeria.
 Methods: A descriptive design was used for the study and a total of 100 pulmonary tuberculosis patients who came for medical checkup between August and September 2021 were studied using convenience sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a researcher constructed questionnaire with 20 items grouped into sections A and B. Section A, elicited information on the demographic data of the respondents while section B focused on the level of compliance and recovery rate of the patients. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics of percentages on frequency tables and chart while Pearson product Moment Correlation formula was used to analyse the results at 0.05 level of significance.
 Results: Findings from the study revealed that majority (72.2%) of the patients had knowledge, 70.6% complied with DOTS regimen and 68.2% recovered from pulmonary tuberculosis. There was no significant relationship between patient’s knowledge of the disease and compliance with DOTS.
 Conclusion: It is therefore recommended that adequate information should be given to all pulmonary tuberculosis patients on the need for strict compliance with DOTS in order to recover completely from the infection after treatment.

The Correlation between EFL Students’ Metacognitive Reading Strategy and their Reading Comprehension on English Expository Text

The study aimed at revealing the correlation between English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students’ metacognive reading strategy and their reading comprehension on English expository text. The research applied quantitative method, particularly descriptive and correlational designs. The subjects were the students of Senior High School (SMAS) Buqátun Mubarakah Makassar. The instrument used to collect the data was questionnaire which was adapted from SORS inventory. The data were analyzed by using SPSS Version 22, particularly Pearson Product Moment Correlation Formula. The results of the study showed that the majority of the students in this current time were in possession of high metacognitive reading strategy. Furthermore, the metacognitive reading strategy profile of SMAS Buqátun Mubarakah students was problem solving strategy where the students used some actions and procedures while working directly with the text. Since metacognitive reading strategy included awareness and conscious willing of one or more strategies to monitor reading comprehension, there was tendency of metacognitive reading strategy influenced reading comprehension of the students. Therefore, based on the analysis result of this study, there was significant positive correlation between the EFL students’ metacognitive reading strategy and their reading comprehension on English expository text.

Pengaruh Perhatian Orang Tua terhadap Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Siswa SD Islam Khaira Ummah Kota Padang

This study aims to determine the effect of parental attention on PAI learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SD Islam Khaira Ummah which is located at Jl. Pagai Ikur Koto, Koto Panjang, Ikur Koto, Kec. Koto Tangah, P`adang City, West Sumatra Province. The research method used is a quantitative research method. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SD Islam Khaira Ummah. The research sampling technique uses the slovin formula. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation formula. The results showed that the t value of variable X was 3.080 and the t table value was 2.005 (3.080 > 2.005) and for the significance value of variable X and Y was 0.003 <0.05. And from the F test, the calculated F value of variable X is 9.485 and the F table value is 4.023 (9.485 > 4.023) and for the significance value of variable X and Y is 0.003 <0.05. So it was concluded that partially or simultaneously there was a significant influence between parents' attention to the learning outcomes of class V SD Islam Khaira Ummah.

Validity and Reliability of the Health Belief Questionnaire Model for Mental Health Behavior COVID-19 Survivor

Background: Research using the Health Belief Model (HBM) is expected to be able to determine a determinant model of mental health behavior for Covid-19 survivors. The focus of HBM is Health Promotion at the individual level by looking at the protective and risk factors that are responsible for a person’s behavioral resistance. Until now there is no instrument that measures individual attitudes and beliefs based on the HBM for the mental health behavior of Covid-19 Survivors. Method: To assess the validity and reliability of the Health Belief Model Questionnaire for Mental Health Behavior for COVID-19 Survivors. This study is an observational study with a cross sectional approach that presents the results of the validity and reliability of the Health Belief Model Questionnaire instrument for Mental Health Behavior for COVID-19 Survivors. The questionnaire was compiled as many as 16 statement items based on a literature review. The questionnaire consists of Perceptions of Seriousness, Perceptions of Vulnerability, Perceptions of Benefits, Perceptions of Barriers with 4 question items each. The sample size is 64 people. The validity test uses the Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula with a coefficient value of 0.3, while the reliability test uses internal consistency with Cronbach’s Alpha with a coefficient value of 0.7. Results: The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average age of Covid survivors was 18-40 years (78.1%), female (79.7%), undergraduate education level (75%), affected in wave II (54.7%) ). The results of the validity test of the 16 items contained 1 invalid item (perception of barriers), while the reliability test showed that of the 15 valid items the results were all reliable. Conclusion: Overall, the HBM questionnaire is valid and reliable to measure mental health behavior in COVID-19 survivors.

EFFECTIVENESS OF THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING FOR PROMOTING ECONOMIC GROWTH AMONG BUSINESS EDUCATION GRADUATES IN EKITI STATE

The use of technology in the preparation of business education graduates is expected to improve the worth and reduce unemployment among recipients. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of technology for economic growth by graduates of this programme in Ekiti State. Descriptive research design was employed. The population of the study was 3,538 business education graduates (Colleges of Education and University) working in public and private organisations in Ekiti State. 354 business education graduates, representing 10% of the population were randomly selected as sample. A validated structured instrument titled “Questionnaire on the Use of Technology for Economic Growth (QUTEG) with 22 items was used for data collection on the two research questions. The reliability coefficient of 0.87 was obtained, using split half and Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula. The findings showed that the use of technology has improved graduates’ productivity, creativity, ICT skills, thereby reducing the cost of retraining by their employers. It was recommended that business education graduates should always acquire technological skills for improved worth as employees and to engage in entrepreneurial outfits for the nation’s economic development.

The Correlation of Interest in Becoming a Teacher with Learning Outcomes in the Educational Field of Automotive Engineering Education Students

The student's desire to become a teacher is a factor that influences attitudes and motivation to attend lectures. High levels of interest in becoming a teacher will speed up the lecture process and influence student learning outcomes. The purpose of this correlational study is to determine the relationship between student learning outcomes in education courses and interest in becoming a teacher. The study was conducted on students from the FT UNP Automotive Engineering Education study program's 2018 class. The study was conducted on students from the FT UNP Automotive Engineering Education study program's 2018 class. The Pearson product moment correlation formula was used to analyze the data, and the t test was used to determine the significance of the correlation coefficient r. Based on the analysis of the research data, it was determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between desire to become a teacher and learning outcomes in student education courses.

Pengaruh Pendekatan Heutagogi Terhadap Kompetensi Siswa Kelas IX pada Pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Purwokerto

The heutagogy approach is one of the approaches used in learning. In this approach, the teacher is a facilitator of students. where the task of the teacher is not only to provide knowledge, but the teacher has a role that is more than that, the teacher has a role as a lifelong teacher, leads the teaching and learning process, directs students in choosing learning resources, and opens communication in learning. With the rapid development of technology, this heutagogi approach is very possible in learning moral aqidah. So that students can easily search for knowledge instantly through the internet. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the heutagogi approach in interactive learning on moral aqidah lessons at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Purwokerto. This research is a type of quantitative research with data collection methods in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. In this study, researchers used the pearson product moment correlation formula. The results of the research on the heutagogi approach to student competence in learning moral aqidah, related to the heutagogi approach, found a relationship in the very weak category, which obtained a calculated r value of 0.171 or 2.92%, so that the heutagogi approach only gave 2.92% influence on the competence of grade IX students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Purwokerto, and the rest of 97.08% came from other factors.

The Correlation Between Students’ Vocabulary Mastery And Speaking Skill

This research aimed to determine whether there is a correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and their speaking skills. The subjects were 40 students from eleventh-grade students (XI MIPA 2) of MAN Model 1 Manado. The design that was applied in this research was the quantitative method. The data gained in this research by giving the students speaking and vocabulary test then analyzed using the Pearson product-moment correlation formula. Based on the finding of the analysis and calculation, it was found that the rxy was 0,799. Referring to the table of product-moment interpretation, it was in the interval of 0,70 - 0,90, which means that variables X and Y stated a high correlation. According to the significance table, the degree of freedom (df = N-nr) is 38, the significance level 5% is 0,320, and 1% is 0,413. Comparing the values showed that rxy is bigger than rt (0,320<0,799>0,413). It means there is a significant correlation between vocabulary mastery and speaking skills, which proves that students’ vocabulary mastery increases in line with their speaking skills.

Hubungan antara Kesadaran Diri dan Kedisiplinan Belajar: Studi Korelasi pada Siswa Kelas V SD

This research uses a quantitative correlational study with the ex-post facto method which aims to determine the description of self-awareness, learning discipline, and the relationship between self-awareness and learning discipline of fifth grade students of SD Inpres 12/79 Jeppe'e. The population in this study were all students of class V, totaling 46 students using the saturated sample. The data analysis technique is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the self-awareness of class V students can be categorized as good with a total percentage of 72%, student learning discipline can also be categorized as good with a total percentage of 74%. Then, the results of inferential analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation formula obtained rcount of 0.480 which can be categorized as having a moderate level of correlation. Meanwhile, the result of = 3.6295 > = 1.68023 so that the H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-awareness and learning discipline of fifth grade students at SD Inpres 12/79 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency.

Pengaruh Komunikasi Tatap Muka Terhadap Kesadaran Swadaya Masyarakat

This study aims to determine the implementation of face-to-face communication carried out by the Rural PNPM Mandiri Activity Management Team, awareness of community self-help in the development of facilities and infrastructure, as well as to describe the effect of face-to-face communication by the Rural PNPM Mandiri activity management team on the awareness of community self-help in the development of facilities and infrastructure in rural areas. Dusun Kebon Kerep, Desa Darmareja, Kecamatan Nagrak, Kabupaten Sukabumi. This study uses the associative analysis method with a rating scale measurement and analysis using a continuum line. Meanwhile, to find the relationship between variables, the Pearson product moment correlation formula and the coefficient of determination formula are used. To find out the truth test of the correlation calculation, hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-test formula. The research sample was 148 people from a total population of 2,790 people with a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. While the object of research is the community of Desa Darmareja which consists of village officials, PNPM actors, and the local community. The results of the study showed that TPK's face-to-face communication was in a fairly good category, with an average score of 3.1. Meanwhile, the awareness of community self-help in the development of facilities and infrastructure is categorized as quite good, with an average score of 3.2. There is an effect of face-to-face communication between the management team of PNPM Mandiri Rural activities on the awareness of community self-help in the development of facilities and infrastructure with a correlation value of 0.5343 (r count) greater than 0.159 (r table). The contribution of the influence of face-to-face communication on the awareness of self-help of the community is obtained by 28.55% while the remaining 71.45% is the influence of other factors. For hypothesis testing with the t-test formula with the calculation results of 9.036, the X variable has a significant effect on the Y variable because 9.036 (t count) is greater than 1.771 (t table), so there is a positive and significant effect of face-to-face communication on self-help awareness of the community. in the construction of facilities and infrastructure in Dusun Kebon Kerep, Desa Darmareja, Kecamatan Nagrak, Kabupaten Sukabumi.

The Effect Of Online Learning On Interest In Learning Mathematics In Elementary Schools

This research is quantitative research with a causal approach. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of online learning on interest in learning mathematics in grade IV at elementary school (SD Negeri 01 Pasir Muncang). Research data for the two variables in this study were obtained using a questionnaire instrument. Test the validity of the parent tutoring instrument using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula and the mathematics learning outcomes instrument using the Biseral Correlation Coefficient formula. Test the reliability of online learning instruments and interest in learning mathematics using the Alpha Cronbach formula. The population in this study were fourth grade students at elementary school (SD Negeri 01 Pasir Muncang), totaling 88 students. The samples taken were 47 students obtained using the Taro Yamane formula. Testing Prerequisite analysis in the form of normality test (Liliefors). After the normality test, homogeneity testing (Fisher) was then carried out. Data that has been declared normal and homogeneous is used to test the hypothesis whose results show that there is an effect of online learning on interest in learning mathematics. The simple correlation regression analysis technique produces a relationship model which is expressed in the form of a regression equation, namely Ŷ = 15.90 + 0.89X. This can be seen from the calculation results tcount (13.24) is greater than ttable (1.72), thus tcount (13.24) > ttable (1.72) which means the correlation coefficient of online learning with interest in learning mathematics stated to be significant, this shows that there is an influence between online learning and interest in learning mathematics at elementary school.
