Analysis of The Implementation of The Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) Application on Financial Performance at PT. Pegadaian Regional Office 1 Medan

This research is entitled The Effect of Implementing the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) Application on Financial Performance at PT. Pegadaian 1 Medan Regional Office. PT. Pegadaian is a business entity that operates in the field of gold pawn services. PT. Pegadaian implements an application system called Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS). The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of implementing the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) application on financial performance at PT. Pegadaia Regional Office 1 Medan. The research method used is quantitative research. The data obtained in this research is secondary data. The number of samples used was 36 samples, namely the 2020-2022 Financial Report and a population of 72 from 2015-2017 and 2020-2022 with a time span of 2020-2022. The data analysis test uses a linear regression analysis test with a value of Y= 8.158+ 0.199x, which means there is a positive relationship between the implementation of the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) application and financial performance of 19.9% and a normality test to ensure data suitability. The data processing used in this research uses SPSS 23. The results of the research show that partially the implementation of PDS has a significant effect on the financial performance of PT. Pegadaian 1 Medan Regional Office. PDS Application Contribution to Financial Performance (ROA) was 23.8%. t count > t table (3.256>1.691) with a significance level of 0.03<0.05. It was found that the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) application had an effect on financial performance.

Perbandingan Minat Gadai Emas di Bank Syariah dan Pegadaian Syariah pada Masyarakat Kota Jambi

In an interview conducted with Mr. Abdi, he stated that in the midst of the current economic crisis, pawning gold was indeed a profitable business because many people carried out this practice. The price of gold on the market experienced a significant and rapid increase, reaching around Rp. 1,131,823 per gram. The aim is to analyze the comparison of the estimated value of gold at Islamic banks and Islamic pawnshops and to analyze the similarities and differences in gold pawning transactions at Islamic banks and Islamic pawnshops. This research uses qualitative methods which aim to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects by collecting data in the form of words and not numbers. The results in this research are a realistic picture, information based on facts obtained by researchers in the field. Researchers conducted a survey at the research location using interviews, documentation and observation of research subjects designated as informants in this research. So researchers can draw the conclusion that there is a difference in public interest in pawning gold at Bank Syariah Indonesia and Pegadaian Syariah. Input for Sharia Banks and Pegadaian Syariah in improving the quality of sharia gold pawn products, both operational systems and services. So that people can continue to get the best service from Sharia Banks and Sharia Pegadaian.

Analysis of Gold Pawn in Indonesia: A Comparative Study between DSN-MUI and AAOIFI

The development of sharia-based products in Indonesia have been increasingly rife, one of the most growing is rahn/Islamic pawn. Basically, a pawn contract is a type of tabarru’/voluntary contract which does not generate profit, however there are many Islamic financial institutions that offer pawn products especially gold pawn product. This research aims to analyze the comparison between the AAOIFI and DSN-MUI in the provisions regarding gold pawn contract. This research is a type of literature study using descriptive qualitative approach. The finding of research is that there are similarities and differences between both AAOIFI and DSN-MUI in the provisions regarding gold pawn contract. The most salient difference is that the Fatwa of DSN-MUI allows the Islamic financial institutions as the mortgagee to charge to the mortgagor some fees for safekeeping and maintenance of the mortgaged asset through ijarah contract, which make the gold pawn contract become profitable for the mortgagee. Unlike in the AAOIFI Shariah Standard which does not give the mortgagee a chance to obtain profit from this contract. Keywords: Rahn, Gold Pawn, AAOIFI, DSN-MUI

Pengaruh Nilai Taksir dan Peran Media Sosial terhadap Keputusan Nasabah Menggadai Barang Emas pada Pegadaian Prailiu

The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of appraisal value and the role of social media on consumer decisions in pawning gold goods. This research method also uses non-probability sampling with proposive sampling techniques. The sampling criteria are to pawn gold at the Prailiu branch pawnshop at least 2 or more times and be domiciled in Waingapu. Data analysis using multiple regression, the results showed that the value of estimates and promotions had a significant effect on the decision to pawn gold. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 80 respondents and this study was conducted by distributing questionnaires directly.

Promotion Optimization: Effective Strategy to Increase Customer Interest in Gold Pawn at Bank Syariah Indonesia

This research delves into examining how promotional strategies impact customer interest in gold pawning services at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Bitung. Given the ever-changing market dynamics and evolving consumer preferences, the adaptability and innovation of Islamic banking institutions play a crucial role. The study concentrates on understanding how promotion influences customer interest in gold pawning, a service offering quick liquidity without requiring the sale of valuable assets. Through quantitative methods, data were gathered from 94 customers via questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that promotional efforts significantly influence customer interest, explaining 61% of the variance. This underscores the significance of employing effective promotional strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty. The study identifies various promotional tactics, including advertising, sales promotions (such as discounts and coupons), personal selling (especially through social media influencers), public relations and publicity (e.g., press releases, event sponsorships, CSR activities), and direct marketing (e.g., mail, email, phone, social media). Each strategy's efficacy is supported by recent research, emphasizing the importance of coherent messaging in concise advertising for achieving higher response rates. The findings suggest that bolstering promotional endeavors can markedly increase customer interest and satisfaction, thereby fostering business expansion. Organizations are encouraged to prioritize strategic promotional activities to capitalize on their considerable influence on customer interest.

Analisis Strategi Pemasaran Syariah Produk Gadai Emas (Rahn) di Pegadaian Syariah

This research discusses the Analysis of Sharia Marketing Strategy for Gold Pawn Products (Rahn) at Sharia Pawnshops. Studies at the Pawnshop Sharia Service Unit Simpang Mayang Jambi. The aim of this research is to describe how marketing is carried out at Pegdaian Syariah Simpang Mayang, Jambi City, seen from the Sharia Marketing Indicators and what the obstacles are in marketing its products, especially Gadai Syariah (Rahn) products. This research is field research using descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection involves observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of this research using triangulation techniques. The subjects in this research were employees or marketers of Pegadaian Syariah Simpang Mayang, Jambi City and customers, with three employee informants and three customer informants. The results of this research indicate that marketers at the Simpang Mayang Syariah Pegadaian, Jambi City do not fully meet the characteristics of a sharia marketer. It can be seen from the Four Sharia Marketing Indicators that have not been fully implemented. There are 4 Marketing Indicators in Sharia Marketing. Of the 4 (Four) marketing indicators, only Ethical (akhlaqiyah) and Realistic (al-waqi'iyyah) have been fully implemented, while Theistic (rabbaniyah) and Humanistic (al-insaniyyah) have not been fully implemented. . There are obstacles for the Sharia Pawnshop Unit Simpang Mayang Jambi City in marketing its products, especially Sharia Pawnshop (Rahn) products. Such as trust from customers, the double duty of each employee and competition from other financial institutions.

Implementasi Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Kredit Gadai Emas Di PT Pegadaian

This research was prepared to determine the procedures for granting, repaying, and auctioning gold pawn loans at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Tajur Branch Service Unit as one of the Fast and Secure Credit products offered by the company to the public to be able to obtain loans with collateral in the form of gold. The purpose of this writing is to find out about the Gold Pawn Credit Accounting Information System at PT Pegadaian and how the effectiveness of Internal Control on the Gold Pawn Information System at PT Pegadaian. The procedure for granting a gold pawn starts from a credit application, valuation of collateral, disbursement of credit loan funds, to storage of collateral, followed by settlement of the loan money within a maximum of four months by redemption, installments, or renewal. If the customer is unable to repay later, the collateral will be auctioned with the customer's consent based on the terms and conditions at the beginning of the credit loan process. Based on the results of the review, all of the above procedures have been carried out by the principles of good internal control, including standard procedures that are outlined in the form of flowcharts, there is a separation of duties made in the organizational structure and job descriptions, there are appraisers to overcome the risk of the insufficient value of collateral, there are adequate authorization procedures when granting credit and the auction process, there is verification of credit granting requirements, security of pawn deposits is very adequate, supported by a pawn application system and supporting documents to ensure the achievement of the objectives of granting credit with gold pawning. Optimization of Gold Pawn Product Advantages to Increase Customer Base

The objective of this study is to examine the main characteristics that impact customer satisfaction with pawn products at BPRS Bhakti Sumekar, with a specific focus on its Waru Branch. Data for this study were gathered using a qualitative descriptive approach, through interviews conducted with the management, employees, and customers of BPRS Bhakti Sumekar's Waru Branch. In addition, supplementary data were acquired from papers, journals, and internal records of the bank. The research aims to maximize the benefits of gold pawn products in order to broaden the consumer base. BPRS Bhakti Sumekar, previously named BPR Bhakti Sumekar, is a Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) located in Sumenep Regency. It was founded on September 16, 2002, first as a limited liability company (PT) before converting to a BUMD status. BPRS Bhakti Sumekar has a notable presence in the local financial sector with two Cash Offices and 28 Branch Offices, one of which is the Waru Branch.

Before paying a minimum of 50% of the gold price and as much as 85% to 90% of the bank's assessed gold price, the Islamic bank, which acts as a gold buyer, will evaluate the value of the customer's gold.

Prosedur Pembiayaan Gadai Emas di PT. Bank Syariah KCP Medan Padang Bulan

Gold pawn financing is an important service in the sharia financial industry. This research aims to examine gold pawning financing procedures at PT. Sharia Bank KCP Medan Padang Bulan. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The gold pawning financing procedure at Bank Syariah KCP Medan Padang Bulan consists of several steps, including customer registration, gold appraisal, determining the financing value, signing the agreement, disbursing funds and storing the gold. This process is designed to provide easy and transparent financial access for customers who want to use gold as collateral. The research results show that the gold pawn financing procedure at Bank Syariah KCP Medan Padang Bulan is a structured and efficient process. With a good understanding of this procedure, customers can make optimal use of this service. It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution to the development of gold pawn financing services at Sharia Banks and become a reference for further research in this field.

Marketing Strategy for Gold Pawn Products in Attracting Customer Interest at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Sibolga

This study aims to find out how the marketing strategy for pawning gold products in attractingcustomer interest in Islamic banks in Sibolga Kc. The type of research that the authors conducted wasfield research, namely field research that is descriptive qualitative in nature, namely a study thatdescribes the form of a marketing strategy for pawning gold products in attracting customer interest at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kc Sibolga. The results of this study are the marketing strategy for Islamic goldpawn products at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kc Sibolga, namely product strategies carried out bymaintaining service quality to customers and using a comprehensive assessment tool. The pricing strategy is achieved bymonitoring the product and operating the product according to Sharia principles. In the location strategy, this is done by providing a convenient and safe location for gold pawning transactions as well as easy access to the Bank's location. The promotion strategy is achieved by conducting broad outreach to the public, especially mothers, shop owners, entrepreneurs and maintaining promotions by distributing leaflets and maintaining public trust. And the results of data on sharia gold pawning customers in Sibolga District show that the gold pawn business has experienced significant growth, so that the marketing strategy plays a very important role in sharia gold pawning. The Effect of Inflation Rate and Gold Price on Gold Pawn Financing (Rahn) at PT Bank BSI Indonesia

Gold pawn financing can be interpreted as pawning or surrendering physical authority over property/valuables from customers to banks to be managed with the ar-rahn principle, namely as collateral for loans/debts given to customers/borrowers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inflation rate and gold price on the distribution of Rahn financing at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia. The data for this research comes from the official website of Bank Indonesia, PT Antam Indonesia and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia. The data taken is a monthly report. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis and data processing tools with the SPSS 21 application. The results of data analysis show that partially the inflation rate does not have a significant effect on the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia with a t value of -2.03 and a significant value of 0.051, and gold price fluctuations affect the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia with a t value of 7.811 and a significant value of 0.000. Simultaneously the inflation rate and gold price affect the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia with an F value of 30.81 and a significance of 0.000 and can be seen from the regression coefficient test (R2) the inflation rate and gold price fluctuations affect the distribution of Rahn Financing of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia by 64.4% and the remaining 35.6% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Analisis Persepsi Nasabah Terhadap Produk Gadai Emas Pada Pegadaian Syariah di Kota Langsa

Financing services with gold pawn contracts provided by the Sharia Pawnshop Unit continue to increase from year to year. People who take advantage of loan funds by pawning gold at Sharia Pegadaian are interesting to analyze. This study aims to analyze two things. First, what is the gold pawn product service process at Pegadaian Syariah West Langsa Unit? Second, what is the customer's perception of gold pawn financing services with the Rahn agreement at the West Langsa Sharia Pawnshop Unit (UPS)? The method used to collect data is through two techniques. Through interviews with three West Langsa UPS managers. Then data was obtained through a questionnaire with a purposive sampling technique from 50 UPS West Langsa customers. Next, the data was analyzed using a qualitative approach. The results of the research found two things: First, the service process and gold pawning practices at UPS Langsa Barat are in accordance with sharia principles and in line with maqashid sharia in the principles of ta'awun and safeguarding assets. Second, the public's perception of gold pawning products at UPS Langsa Barat states that gold pawning services and practices are stated to be based on sharia concepts. All customers who filled out the questionnaire 100% stated that UPS West Langsa's service was friendly with a location that was easy to reach, and 82% stated that the gold pawn product had implemented the ta'awun (please help) principle.

To attract customers, Bank Syariah Indonesia Medan Imam Bonjol Sub-Branch Office is holding a promotion in the form of distributing prizes or knick-knacks if a certain amount of money has been withdrawn.

Implementation of Hybrid Contracts in the Gold Pawn Practice in Sharia Pawnshops

The hybrid contract in sharia pawn practice is very unique. This gives rise to different views on the transaction model. Several contracts are often applied in hybrid contract of sharia pawn practice include qardh, rahn, and ijarah. In an ijarah contract of sharia pawn, there is indication of irrelevance in the calculation of ujrah from the clause of the fatwa No.25/DSN-MUI/III/2002 concerning Rahn. This research intends to examine the implementation of hybrid contract in sharia pawn practices by raising the case of gold pawn referring to clause of the fatwa. This study applies a qualitative research paradigm with data characteristics consisting of concepts and qualitative statements. The sources of data were obtained from the implementation of sharia pawn practice in several sharia financial institutions and pawnshop companies, contract concepts, and DSN MUI fatwas. From this study, it was found that the rahn and qardh contracts in Islamic pawnshops complied with the clause of the DSN fatwa No.26/DSN-MUI/III/2002 concerning gold rahn. However, there is a potential for riba practices in ijarah contract in sharia pawn that conflict with the DSN fatwa No.25/DSN-MUI/III/2002 concerning Rahn. The potential for riba is indicated from the calculation of ujrah based on the amount of loans.AbstrakKontrak gadai multi akad dalam pegadaian syariah memiliki sisi keunikan. Hal itu menimbulkan berbagai pandangan mengenai model transaksi tersebut. Beberapa akad yang sering diterapkan dalam multi akad dalam pegadaian syariah antara lain akad qardh, rahn, dan ijarah. Dalam akad ijarah dari pegadaian syariah, terdapat indikasi adanya penyimpangan perhitungan ujrah dari ketentuan fatwa DSN No.25/DSN-MUI/III/2002 tentang Rahn. Penelitian ini hendak menelaah implementasi multi akad dalam praktik gadai syariah dengan mengangkat kasus gadai emas mengacu pada ketentuan fatwa tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma penelitian kualitatif dengan karakteristik datanya terdiri dari konsep dan pernyataan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari implementasi gadai di pegadaian syariah di beberapa lembaga keuangan syariah dan perusahaan pegadaian, konsep-konsep akad, dan fatwa-fatwa DSN MUI. Dari penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa akad rahn dan qardh dalam pegadaian syariah telah sesuai dengan ketentuan fatwa DSN No.26/DSN-MUI/III/2002 tentang rahn emas. Akan tetapi, terdapat potensi praktik riba dalam akad ijarah dalam pegadaian syariah yang bertentangan dengan fatwa DSN No.25/DSN-MUI/III/2002 tentang Rahn. Potensi riba ini tampak pada perhitungan ujrah berdasarkan besarnya pinjaman.

TINJAUAN HUKUM SEWA DI BAYAR DI MUKA PADA PRAKTIK ARISAN GADAI EMAS

Basically, social gathering is a social system that leads to friendship within neighbors and between families. In Islamic Law, debt and receivables are a form of muamalah which is characterized by ta'awun (help) to other parties to meet their needs. Therefore, in this context, someone who provides debt must not take advantage of the goods owed. Debtors may not accept gifts or other benefits from debt borrowers. The money is paid in advance on the guarantee of a gold pawn gathering, which if you intend to help, you should be sincere and not impose additional burdens on returns, but there are business practices. This creates a bad image for Sharia banking if the down payment provisions become a negative thing in Sharia economic law.

Manajemen Penerapan Sistem Gadai Emas Pada Unit Pegadian Syariah Bonder Kantor Cabang Renteng Lombok Tengah

Gadai Emas is the provision of funds to customers using pawn financing that can meet the financial needs of customers by using gold as collateral for financing. This study aims to describe the application of the Gold Pawn System at PT. Pegadaian Syariah Renteng branch office as well as describe the constraints faced by PT. Pegadaian Syariah Renteng Branch Office is in the process of beingimplemented. This research is a field research, which is descriptive qualitative by conducting in-depth interviews with PT. Pegadaian Syariah, the data is then analyzed and produces conclusions. From the results of the study, it can be explained that in its application it has implemented easy steps but still in accordance with existing operational standards, including; through the stages of submitting financing, stages of estimating gold as collateral, stages of disbursement of financing funds, stages at maturity and stages at the time of repayment. Meanwhile, the obstacles that are often faced are due to difficulties in communicating with customers who cannot make payments and face complaints from customers on collateral items.

Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is one of the Islamic banks in Indonesia whose operational activities comply with the principles of Islamic Sharia and are listed in the law. One of the superior products of Bank Syariah Indonesia is Pawn Gold, which is a service for getting fast money, with an easy process and low maintenance costs. The purpose of this study is to assist customers in understanding and evaluating the level of sharia applied by Bank Syariah Indonesia Kcp. Bandung Moh Toha, so as to provide trust and transparency to customers in transactions. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach, while the data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The implementation of the value of trust has been carried out very well, we can see in the work practices of employees who really reflect a high commitment to trust, honesty and decency, as well as upholding religious rules. The employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia Kcp. Bandung Moh Toha makes the value of trust as a foundation in carrying out their daily tasks.

Web-Based Antam Gold Savings and Pawn Calculation Application

The demand for a user-friendly website that enables the withdrawal of funds from gold savings accounts at Pegadaian has experienced substantial growth amidst the ongoing epidemic. Due to its inherent value and stability, gold assumes particular significance in times of economic uncertainty, allowing individuals to liquidate their savings when necessary. The old approach entailed the manual input of customer information through Excel, which consequently required face-to-face interactions for payment processing. Nevertheless, a significant shift has transpired through the integration of an internet-based platform, facilitating the provision of personal data by clients and thereby establishing virtual profiles to conduct online transactions. Implementing this transformation has resulted in a more streamlined process, enhancing efficiency and improving accessibility for clients.
 The research methodology employed for this project is descriptive, encompassing direct field observations. Furthermore, the system employs the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology to analyze and design the system. The main objective is to develop a system that streamlines the procedures of gold pawning and online savings for consumers. The data input process utilizes the PHP programming language, whereby the data is safely stored within a MySQL database. The integration of these elements guarantees a system that is both secure and efficient, effectively addressing the requirements of both customers and administrators.
