Pengaruh Pola Asuh Orang Tua terhadap Perilaku Keagamaan Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 43 Sungai Sapiah Kota Padang

This research aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns on the religious behavior of class V students at SD N 43 Sungai Sapiah whose address is Jl. Air Paku, Kel. Sapiah River, RT.02/ RW.06, Kec. Kuranji, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach research method. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SD N 43 Sungai Sapiah. The research sampling technique used the Slovin formula. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation formula. The research results show that the calculated t value of variable X is 4.872 and the t table value obtained is 2.303 (4.872 > 2.303) and the significance value of variables And from the F test, the calculated F value of variable So it is concluded that partially or simultaneously there is a significant influence between parental parenting patterns and the religious behavior of class V students at SD N 43 Sungai Sapiah.

Contribution Of Parental And Teachers' Guidance Towards Independent Behavior Of Elementary School Children

The contribution of parental and teacher guidance to the independent behavior of elementary school children needs to be considered carefully. Although this guidance plays an important role in child development, overprotective attitudes, lack of consistency, and the influence of the social and technological environment can hinder children's independence. This study uses the library research method. The data collection technique in this study was carried out through documentation review or document review. To ensure the validity of the data in this study, the source triangulation technique was used. The results of the study showed that 1). The Role of Parents in Shaping the Independence of Elementary School Children is to play an important role in shaping children's independence, with democratic parenting patterns proven to be more effective in encouraging independence than authoritarian or permissive parenting patterns. 2). The Role of Teachers in Developing the Independence of Elementary School Children is to develop student independence through a teaching approach that encourages responsibility and active participation. By giving individual and group assignments, and involving students in projects and class discussions, teachers help students learn independently. 3). Collaboration of Parents and Teachers in Developing Independence of Elementary School Children is that parents and teachers play an important role in supporting the development of independence of elementary school children. Open communication and good cooperation between the two parties ensure that children receive consistent guidance, both at home and at school.

PARENTING: POLA ASUH ANAK DENGAN METODE TETEP-ANTEP-MANTEP

This community service aims to apply the teachings of Tamansiswa, namely the Three Education Centers, through parenting patterns for children. This parenting style is instilling confidence in oneself which is known as Tetep-Mantep-Antep. Parents who are members of the as-Salam group in Genjahan sub-district, Ponjong, Gunungkidul have not been familiar with various Tamansiswa teachings which can influence the development of their child's personality in the future. In fact, these teachings are closely related to the local wisdom of the local community. This community service is carried out using lecture, discussion, question and answer methods, as well as discussions between participants with their respective experiences. Discussions between participants were carried out because some of the participants had actually practiced Tamansiswa's teachings indirectly. The results of this service show positive things. The enthusiastic participants took an active role in the activities. They were inspired by their enthusiasm to realize Tamansiswa's teachings, especially the Fixed-Steady-Antep parenting pattern in parenting patterns based on their respective environments according to their culture and beliefs

Paternal and Maternal Speech at 3 Months Postpartum: An Exploratory Study on the Effect of Parental Role and Birth Weight

Recent research highlights a growing interest in early interactions between fathers and their infants, acknowledging the significant influence these interactions have on developmental outcomes. However, there is a limited understanding of the specific characteristics of paternal infant-directed speech (IDS), especially in the context of premature birth. This study aimed to analyze the functional and morpho-syntactic features of paternal IDS to full-term (FT) and preterm (PT) infants at 3 months, comparing it with maternal communicative style. Additionally, the study explored the influence of the severity of preterm birth according to birth weight, further distinguishing between extremely low-birth-weight (ELBW) and very low-birth-weight (VLBW) infants. Seventy-one father–infant and mother–infant dyads (24 FT, 22 ELBW, 25 VLBW) were recruited at 3 months (corrected age for PTs). Parent–infant interactions were video recorded to assess lexical, syntactic, and functional aspects of paternal and maternal speech. Results revealed lower verbosity and lexical variability in paternal IDS compared to the maternal one. No differences were found between parents of the PT and FT groups. Overall, these findings could contribute to better understanding the patterns of parent–infant communications in both FT and PT dyads, confirming the importance of involving both mothers and fathers from the early stages of development.

Sensory-processing sensitivity, parenting styles, and adult attachment patterns in parents of young children

ABSTRACT Background Increased sensitivity to internal and external stimuli, known as sensory-processing sensitivity (SPS), has been linked to attachment insecurity and less optimal parenting styles in parents of children aged 4–13 years. Associations between these parenting factors in parents of children aged 3 years and younger have not yet been investigated. Understanding the relationships between these factors will facilitate the development of strategies to better support highly sensitive parents. Methods A sample of 153 parents of children aged 3 years and younger completed an online survey comprising standardised measures of SPS, attachment, and infant parenting styles. The underlying factor structure of the Infancy Parenting Styles Questionnaire was investigated. Results Factor analysis identified 33 items loading onto five factors: Discipline, Routine, Anxiety, Nurturance, and Involvement, with moderate to high reliability. SPS was positively correlated with parenting anxiety, attachment anxiety, and attachment avoidance, but did not predict parenting style. Younger parent age was associate with more insecure attachment styles. Multivariate regression analyses revealed that variability in parenting anxiety was predicted only by attachment anxiety and having fewer children. Conclusion While SPS was not seen to predict parenting anxiety, relationships between SPS, parenting anxiety, and insecure attachment suggest that strategies tailored to SPS would support highly sensitive parents to care for their children and promote improved parent–child relationships. These strategies may therefore be a beneficial addition to attachment-based parenting programs. Further studies using the Toddler Parenting Styles Questionnaire (TPSQ) are needed to identify optimal parenting styles for parents of infants and toddlers.

Does parenting style work on gadget addiction? A cross-sectional study among adolescence

Background: The increasing dependence on gadget use among adolescents which has a negative impact on their growth and development, requires increased parental supervision and appropriate parenting patterns. Purpose: This study aims to identify the relationship between smartphones addiction and the characteristics of young people, as well as the parenting styles of both fathers and mothers in Samarinda. Method: The study employs an analytical survey that measures the level of gadget addiction in teenagers and the influencing factors, including demographics, parenting styles, and gadget usage factors such as perception of addiction, usage purpose, and peer influence. The sample criteria include teenagers who own their gadgets, aged 13-19, actively use them for communication and internet access. Resulting in a sample size of 79 adolescents by purposive sampling technique, and using a self-administered questionnaire. Bivariate analysis is used to test the relationship between variables (correlation tests). Result: The correlation table shows that smartphone addiction is strongly correlated with daily life disturbance (r = 0.565, p < 0.01), positive anticipation (r = 0.760, p < 0.01), withdrawal (r = 0.829, p < 0.01), cyberspace relationship (r = 0.727, p < 0.01), overuse (r = 0.742, p < 0.01), and tolerance (r = 0.490, p < 0.01). Among parenting styles, only permissive father (r = 0.282, p < 0.05) and permissive mother (r = 0.298, p < 0.01) show significant positive correlations with smartphone addiction. Conclusion: The study concludes that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles, particularly permissive in overall smartphone addiction and democratic styles in aspect of tolerance. It suggests that interventions targeting parenting practices. The clearer, more specific, and targeted restrictions on gadget use are needed, particularly for parents who adopt a permissive parenting style.

Parental Communication Patterns Towards Children with Special Needs During Puberty in Malalayang District, Manado City

Children are a gift that must be guarded, cared for and educated. Children who are born in a healthy or normal condition are the pride of parents. However, in reality there are still parents who have children who experience obstacles, disorders and delays in mental and physical growth called Children with Special Needs. The challenge is when children start to enter puberty, children will enter adolescence at this age, of course it will affect their physical and mental, for example, girls are marked by menstruation or menstruation. Conditions like this affect not only children but also parents. Because automatically parents must go directly to help. Unlike boys, physical changes do not have a big impact. Based on the characteristics of psychological growth, ABK is actually almost the same as normal children, for example, emotionally, the instinct to sympathize with others or the opposite sex is there. It's just that self-control is limited. For that, children with special needs in adolescence must continue to receive supervision from parents who must be more intensive in accompanying and even controlling children's actions. Based on the above phenomenon, the researcher is interested in conducting further research and this study is entitled Interpersonal Communication Patterns of Parents and Children with Special Needs During Puberty in Malalayang District. The aim is to find out how the communication patterns of parents who have children with special needs with the type of intellectual disability. Using the theory of Interpersonal Communication from Joseph Devito using qualitative methods and purposive sampling techniques where the informants needed in this study are parents who have adolescent children with special needs in Malalayang District, Manado City.

Parenting Patterns of Career Women in Instilling Islamic Religious Values in Children (Case Study of Communities in Griya Hangtuah Permai Housing, Pinang Kencana Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang Timur)

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the reality that occurs, researchers want to show the parenting patterns used by mothers who perform two roles between a career outside the home and taking care of children in this case, which is seen how the mother educates in instilling Islamic religious values in children and is also assisted by a review of relevant literature. Data collection techniques carried out using interviews with relevant informants, interviews aim to get in-depth information. Based on the results of interviews in parenting career mothers teach Islamic religious values with a strategy of persuading and advising children according to what parents want to teach children and children must obey their parents' orders, this description of democratic parenting although different ways of implementing it still packs it in the important points of democratic parenting.

The Role of Grandparents in Enhancing Children's Spiritual Intelligence: A Unique Case Study in Demak, Central Java, Indonesia

This study is important to describe the factors underlying the grandparent parenting pattern, how grandparents strengthen children's spiritual intelligence, and how grandparents strengthen children's spiritual intelligence. This study, conducted in the cultural context of Demak, Central Java, Indonesia, uses a qualitative case study approach using interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate several factors underlying the occurrence of grandparent parenting patterns, namely the divorce of both parents and the parent's job factor, which causes the care carried out by grandparents. The impact of grandparents in strengthening children's spirituality leads to various outcomes. On the positive side, children exhibit honesty, diligence, regular worship, Quranic studies, mosque attendance, and association with good friends. On the negative side, children may become spoiled and exploit the situation, such as doing work solely for rewards from grandparents. The author recommends that parents and grandparents work together to educate children; if they work together one day, the child will be even better.

SINGLE MOM'S PARENTING PATTERN IN FORMING CHILDREN'S INDEPENDENCE AND THE ENVIRONMENT

The pattern of single mother parenting has a difference with a family that is still intact, which of course will affect the development of children's independence. The purpose of the research is to explore the parenting patterns carried out by single parents, the obstacles faced by single parents in forming child independence, the efforts of single parents in fulfilling the rights of children and their environment, as well as parenting tips for single parents. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are two single mothers who have children aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. The research analysis uses interactive model analysis. The results of the study show that the parenting style provided by single mothers in shaping children's independence is a single parent parenting practice that applies a democratic parenting style, and a permissive parenting style. Children raised with democratic parenting have high independence while children raised with authoritarian parenting have less independence. Children's independence is also influenced by several factors, namely parental education, economy, employment, environment and religion in fulfilling children's rights is to build a good and harmonious relationship with children.

Prevalence of Anemia among Adolescent School Girls of Bardoli Taluka, Surat, Gujarat

Introduction: Anemia is a serious public health challenge in India. It affects women, adolescents and children throughout the lifecycle. In boys and girls it limits their development, learning ability, reduce concentration in daily task, increases risk of infections, increases school dropout rates and reduces their physical activity. Anemia in girls can increase risk of pregnancy associated complications like premature births, low birth weight of baby and perinatal and maternal mortality. Aims of the study: The aim of the present study was to identify the prevalence of anemia and its associated factors among adolescent school girls of Bardoli, Surat. Material and methods: A cross sectional survey was carried out to identify the prevalence of anemia among 815 adolescent school girls from both Government and Private schools by using non probability purposive sampling technique and who fulfilled the inclusion criteria Digital hemoglobinometer was used to collect capillary blood for estimation of hemoglobin level. Result: Study results showed that, 694 (85 %) girls were having anemia and 15% of them had normal hemoglobin level. 48% had mild anemia and 37% had moderate level of anemia. 2 (0.24%) girls had severe anemia. It was highly prevalent among 417 (60.15 %) girls of government schools than the private school. Majority 551 of them were under weight (BMI < 18.5). Level of anemia was significant with age, residence, dietary pattern, education and occupation of parents, family income. Menstruation related factors like regularity, amount of blood loss was significant. Conclusion: Anemia is still a major health problem in our country. Anaemia among adolescent girls still continues to be a significant public health problem.

The Analysis of Risk Factors in Toddlers on The Occurrence of Stunting In Pidie

Nutritional issues in toddlers continue to be a primary concern in population settings. Among these issues are stunting, wasting, and overweight (World Health Organization, 2020). Stunting remains a major nutritional problem in developing countries such as Indonesia. Stunting, or chronic malnutrition, is a nutritional issue resulting from prolonged inadequate nutrient intake from food (Andriani et al., 2017). Short stature in toddlers (stunting) is determined by body length or height that is less than -2 SD according to WHO global references for children compared to other children of the same age (World Health Organization, 2013). The global prevalence of stunted toddlers, according to WHO, is 21.9%. According to the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) by the Ministry of Health, the prevalence of stunted toddlers in this province was 31.2% last year. The highest incidence of stunting in Aceh is in Kota Subulussalam, which had the highest prevalence of stunted toddlers in Aceh in 2022, reaching 47.9%. This number jumped 6.1 points from 41.8% in 2021. Pidie Regency, with 27.8%, ranks fifth highest in Aceh. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 334 toddlers chosen using the Slovin formula. Sampling was conducted randomly among mothers of underweight toddlers in local health center in Pidie Regency, which has a toddler population of 1,979. Statistical software SPSS 23 with Chi-square was used for data analysis. The findings from this study, derived from bivariate statistical analysis using the Chi-square test at a 95% confidence level, yielded a p-value of 0.268 (p > 0.05). This indicates that the Antenatal Care variable does not affect the risk of stunting. For the immunization variable, the test results showed a p-value of 0.515 (p > 0.05), indicating no relationship between immunization and the risk of stunting. For the exclusive breastfeeding variable, a p-value of 0.038 (p < 0.05) was obtained, indicating that exclusive breastfeeding affects the risk of stunting. The maternal nutrition during pregnancy variable resulted in a p-value of 0.037 (p < 0.05), indicating that maternal nutrition affects the risk of stunting. As for the parenting pattern variable, the test resulted in a p-value of 0.007 (p < 0.05), indicating that parenting patterns greatly influence the risk of stunting.

Analisis Pencegahan Kekerasan dan Pendekatan Adil Gender pada Sekolah Muhammadiyah Berbasis Pesantren di Jawa Timur

Nowadays, it has become a trust issue, about violence and sexual harassment in the Islamic boarding school environment. In addition to parenting patterns, a gender-fair approach is also an aspect that needs to be studied. This study aims to analyze the prevention of violence and a gender-equality approach in Muhammadiyah boarding schools in East Java. This research is a qualitative study. The subjects of the study were selected using a purposive method, they are the chief and caregivers of the boarding school in two Islamic boarding schools located in Sidoarjo Regency and Lamongan Regency, East Java. The research data collection technique was carried out using 3 (three) methods, observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The study showed that in terms of preventing violence, Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding schools use a parenting pattern strategy that prioritizes child-friendly principles, and minimizes physical punishment, with the concept of rahmatan lil alamin. Meanwhile, in terms of preventing sexual abuse, education is considered less massive and has not touched on the substantive realm across genders. Furthermore, a gender-fair approach is shown by equality in access to opportunities for male and female students in organizational leadership, as well as in the practice of preaching.

Illness cognitions and parental stress symptoms following a child's cancer diagnosis.

This research aims to explore parents' cognitive beliefs, specifically illness cognitions, in response to their children being diagnosed with cancer. This study is an initial step toward providing regular psychosocial assessment as a standard for psychosocial care for children with cancer and their families in Latvia. Data were collected from 120 parents (mostly mothers, n = 109) as an initial evaluation of the psychosocial risks faced by families participating in the support program "Holistic and Multidisciplinary Support for Children with Functional Disabilities and Their Family Members," which was managed by the Children's Hospital Foundation at the Children's Clinical University Hospital in Riga (Latvia) from 2020 to 2023. The patients comprised 66 boys and 54 girls (M age = 7.1, SD = 4.7, range: 0-17 years) with diverse cancer diagnoses. The parents completed the Latvian version of the Psychosocial Assessment Tool [adapted from PAT 3.1], with five subscales included in the data analysis (Social Support, Child Problems, Family Problems, Stress Reactions, and Family Beliefs). The Family Belief subscale was adjusted specifically to address the unique objectives and research questions of the current study. Significant correlations were found between children's psychological problems (e.g., getting upset about medical procedures, hyperactivity, excessive use of electronic devices, etc.) and parental stress reactions after diagnosis and with self-reported symptoms of anxiety and depression. The associations were statistically significant, even after controlling for sociodemographic and medical factors such as diagnosis. The relationship between children's problems and parental stress reactions was partly mediated by Family Beliefs about illness. The most informative beliefs associated with parental stress symptoms and the family's psychosocial risk level were identified, and significant results were found according to the main component of beliefs (catastrophic vs. optimistic) that explained 42% of the variance in the Family Beliefs subscale. Understanding the habitual responses to stress and identifying the thinking patterns of parents that lead to distorted views and maladaptive coping are essential for customizing personalized interventions to enhance treatment compliance. The Latvian version of PAT is a useful psychosocial screening measure in pediatric oncology settings.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) Syamsudin Noor Duta Duta Bahtera Program in Realizing Community-Based Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) in Banjarbaru

Duta Bahtera Program implemented by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) Syamsudin Noor, Banjarbaru, is an initiative to reduce malnutrition rates through a community-based approach. This program involves multiple stakeholders, such as integrated health post cadres, parents, health centres and nutritionists in training activities, providing additional food, and socializing good parenting patterns. This is descriptive qualitative research to examine the implementation of the Duta Bahtera Program by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga AFT Syamsudin Noor, Banjarbaru and its relation to the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). The results of Duta Bahtera program showed that the program contributes significantly to public health and can be used as a model for similar programs in other areas. With effective collaboration and empowerment, this program creates a strong foundation for a healthier future for children in Indonesia. Thus, the Duta Bahtera Program has a role in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in eradicate poverty (SDG 2), improving health and well-being (SDG 3), and empowering communities and building multi-party collaboration (SDGs 17). This program also shows efforts to maintain a balance between environmental sustainability, economic growth and community welfare as a symbol of achieving the Triple Bottom Line SDGs.

Predictors of stability/change in observed parenting patterns across early childhood: A latent transition approach

Parenting has long been a topic of research based on its importance for family and child outcomes. Recent methodological advances in person-centered approaches suggest that our understanding of parenting could be further advanced by examining parenting typologies across various parenting behaviors longitudinally. Accordingly, the current study aims to examine latent transitions in parenting practice patterns across four annual assessments during early childhood and examine whether individual- and family-level factors at baseline discriminate parenting transition patterns. Data from four waves (ages 2, 3, 4, and 5) of a study of 731 caregiver-child dyads from a randomized controlled trial were used. Latent Class Analysis (LCA) and Latent Transition Analysis (LTA) were conducted to investigate underlying types of parenting practices at each age and longitudinal parenting practice transition patterns that represent continuity and change. For the LCA, two latent classes emerged at all four waves, representing ‘lower warmth; higher negative interaction’ (Dysregulated) and ‘higher warmth; lower negative interaction’ (Warm) parenting groups. The LTA model with two classes at all waves was conducted with good fit. The results showed diversity in the transition patterns over time, especially non-linear patterns of parenting across early childhood. Using multinominal logistic regression, six transition patterns, collapsed from 16 possible patterns, were predicted by family factors such as child sex, family income, primary caregivers’ race, parental involvement, child inhibitory control, and child externalizing behaviors. Findings have implications for parenting assessment, practice, and analysis.

His complaints of not being able to sleep started 3 days ago when he stopped using methamphetamine because he felt he was getting methamphetamine of low quality. He is nauseous, vomiting has body aches, has no appetite, and is drowsy but has difficulty sleeping. Physical examination is within normal limits. The patient wants to stop using methamphetamine. He has been using methamphetamine since junior high school in 2018, he got to know methamphetamine from junior high school friends. The patient wanted to stop because he felt traumatized by the negative effects of his latest use of methamphetamine. The patient's father is a civil servant and his mother is a midwife at Wangaya Regional Hospital. The patient experiences mental disorders in the form of mental and behavioral disorders due to the use of other stimulants including caffeine. This disorder is caused by the interaction of various factors, resulting in psychiatric symptoms—psychological factors from parenting factors. Father is said to be a strict person.

Physical and Psychological Symptomatology, Co-Parenting, and Emotion Socialization in High-Conflict Divorces: A Profile Analysis.

Although the consequences of divorce and conflict have been extensively studied, most research has focused on children rather than ex-spouses, although variables such as parental health or co-parenting may have an influence on children's development through processes such as emotion socialization. In addition, the relationship between these variables has never been considered in high-conflict divorces. Therefore, the present study aimed to analyze the impact of physical and psychological symptomatology and co-parenting on the emotion socialization patterns of parents experiencing high-conflict divorces. Furthermore, the moderating role of resilience was considered, as it has been highly studied as a coping mechanism in adverse situations but barely in divorce at the parental level. For this purpose, a Latent Profile Analysis was carried out with Mplus 8.10, using a sample of 239 parents from Family Visitation Centers. Results revealed, on the one hand, that parents with fewer physical and psychological symptoms sowed more emotion socialization behaviors than those with more symptomatology. On the other hand, in situations of high interparental conflict, the role of co-parenting and resilience seems less relevant than that of physical and psychological symptomatology when analyzing parental skills like emotion socialization.
