Conceptual and terminological features and legal content of environmental quality standards for water bodies in Ukraine and EU

The article investigates the compliance of Ukrainian and European water legislation in the part of legal instruments, which are the standards for determining, for assessing the ecological status and for regulating the quality of surface waters. Such instruments are included in the main environmental and legal institutions of these legislations. The relevance of the study is determined by the transition of Ukrainian water legislation to the phase of practical support for the implementation of European river basin management. The use of these legal instruments should be envisaged in the first Ukrainian river basin management plans. The purpose of the article is to determine the terminological correctness and conceptual conformity for standards of environmental regulating to ensure that Ukrainian river basin management plans are provided with European equivalents (or analogues) of legislative means to combat environmental status degradation and for surface water pollution, in particular, as a result of the impacts of point sources. The study is based on a comparative analysis of the legal requirements of Ukrainian and European water legislation. Numerous inconsistencies have been identified that impede the harmonization of the both legislations. The most significant of these inconsistencies concerns the recently created Ukrainian ecosystem-based framework of environmental and chemical standards (and corresponding classifications) for surface water bodies. These standards have significant terminological inconsistencies and inconsistencies with the water legislation of Ukraine in terms of the concept of environmental water quality standards. It is determined that the European term and concept of environmental quality standards does not correspond to the Ukrainian concept of the environmental water quality standard and does not allow implement of European regulation of pollutant discharges without changes in legislation. In addition, find inconsistencies create significant obstacles to compliance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation in the field of drinking water and drinking water supply. It is noted that the principle of building a Ukrainian analog of the European system of environmental quality regulations complicates the policy of nationwide unification of activities in the areas of environmental safety and economical use of aquatic ecosystems.

PENGARUH INTERAKSI EDUKATIF GURU SERTA DISIPLIN BELAJAR SISWA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA ARAB

This study examines how student learning discipline and teacher-student interactions affect Arabic language learning results at SMP Queen Ibnu Sina Genteng in the 2023–2024 academic year. The study uses a pretest-posttest control group and a quasi-experimental approach. Purposive sampling strategies were used to choose 30 students for the experimental group and another 30 students for the control group. The Arabic language learning outcome is the dependent variable, whereas educational interaction and student learning discipline are the independent variables. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann-Whitney U Test (significance level of 0.05) are used to analyze the data from the interaction and learning discipline assessments that are part of the study instruments. The findings show that learning discipline and educational engagement have a major impact on Arabic language learning outcomes. The two variables have a positive association, as indicated by the Paired Sample T-Test's significant value of 0.000 (<0.05). The students performed well, as evidenced by their average Arabic language acquisition outcome of 96.33. To sum up, learning discipline and teacher-student interaction are essential to improving Arabic language learning results at SMP Queen Ibnu Sina Genteng. signifikan interaksi edukatif serta disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Arab . The bundengan of Wonosobo, Indonesia

The bundengan is a unique traditional musical instrument with plucked strings from Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia. It can produce sounds that imitate the gong (i.e., a part of the gamelan instrument). The bundengan was initially constructed by duck herders as a means of shielding themselves from inclement weather while caring for their flocks. They also engage in musical activities and singing. The distinctive sound of the bundengan is created by plucking a set of strings fitted with tiny bamboo clips using the right hand and three elongated, slender bamboo blades with the left hand. The sound effect is produced by the bandulan, a small piece of bamboo attached to the string. The tuning of the bundengan depends on the player’s instinct. This study analyzed the pitch and timbre of the bundengan strings. Using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the sound from a plucked string yields the frequency spectrum of the actual vibrations from the strings. The results were used to validate the frequency as heard. The results showed that the pitch from the measured frequencies is not similar to the pitch as heard. The bundengan is tuned to a pitch corresponding to the timbre rather than a specific pitch.

Vibration analysis of 3D printed cymbals and Tzouras top plates

An integrated method of determining the vibration characteristics of musical instruments is here presented. The method includes modal measurements and holographic imaging, FEM modelling and simulations. Parts of musical instruments made of composite materials have been simulated, printed and measured. The vibrational response of 3D printed cymbals and Tzouras top plates, a Greek traditional stringed musical instrument, is experimentally measured and computationally simulated. The PLA printed parts vary in geometry and thickness. The frequency response functions, and the vibrational modes are presented and further studied in relation to the aforementioned geometry variations. The experimental findings provide inputs to FEM modeling and simulation parameters.

Pengaruh Audit Firm Rotation, Komite Audit, dan Audit Capacity Stress Terhadap Kualitas Audit: Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Sub Sektor Bank yang Terdaftar di BEI Periode 2018-2022

This research aims to empirically prove the influence of audit firm rotation, audit committee and audit capacity stress on audit quality in banking sub-sector companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. In this research, 30 banking companies were used. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data analysis method used in hypothesis testing is binary logistic regression and Wald test. In accordance with the results of hypothesis testing processed using the SPSS program, it was found that audit firm rotation had no significant effect on audit quality in banking sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In the second hypothesis testing stage, it was found that the audit committee had a positive and significant effect on audit quality in banking sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while in the third hypothesis testing results it was successfully proven that audit capacity stress had a negative and significant effect on audit quality in sub-sector companies. Banking on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. In accordance with the results of hypothesis testing obtained, it is recommended that companies continue to optimize the role of the audit committee as part of the monitoring instruments within the company. When the role of the audit committee runs well and consistently, the quality of the audit will be better. Through strict supervision, the possibility of fraud will be smaller so that the quality of the resulting audit will be higher and beneficial for stakeholders, especially investors.

A New Music Composition Technique Using Natural Science Data

The relationship of music and mathematics are well documented since the time of ancient Greece, and this relationship is evidenced in the mathematical or quasi-mathematical nature of compositional approaches by composers such as Xenakis, Schoenberg, Charles Dodge, and composers who employ computer-assisted-composition techniques in their work. This study is an attempt to create a composition with data collected over the course 32 years from melting glaciers in seven areas in Greenland, and at the same time produce a work that is expressive and expands my compositional palette. To begin with, numeric values from data were rounded to four-digits and converted into frequencies in Hz. Moreover, the other data are rounded to two-digit values that determine note durations. Using these transformations, a prototype composition was developed, with data from each of the seven Greenland-glacier areas used to compose individual instrument parts in a septet. The composition <i>Contrast and Conflict</i> is a pilot study based on 20 data sets. Serves as a practical example of the methods the author used to develop and transform data. One of the author’s significant findings is that data analysis, albeit sometimes painful and time-consuming, reduced his overall composing time. The variety and richness of data that exists from all academic areas and disciplines conceivably provide a rich reservoir of material from which to fashion compositions. As more composers explore this avenue of work, different methodologies will develop, and the value of works produced by this method will be evaluated.

НАПИСАНИЕ СЦЕНАРИЯ КАК ИНСТРУМЕНТ БИБЛИОТЕРАПИИ

In addition to individual or shared therapeutic reading, creative writing is a common part of bibliotherapy, which deals with the use of literary arts for preventive and therapeutic purposes. Often this involves the professional writing of stories, essays, poems and other literary works, therapeutic diaries and therapeutic letters with a therapeutic-educational purpose, with the aim of processing experiences and memories after the fact. The paper discusses life script writing as an important part of the therapeutic instrumentation used in therapeutic-educational oriented bibliotherapy. It is about the conscious creative shaping of one's own life story in the immediate future here and now. The paper is loosely connected to the paper Literary Art in Therapeutic Education, which was published in the last issue of Medicine & Art (3/2023); therefore, some terms that have been used before are not reexplained in this paper. It is intended for experts who are interested in bibliotherapy and imagination as tools for mobilizing a person's internal healing powers to support their health and well-being.

The Impact of Social Media on Political Enthusiasm Study of the Young Generation in the General Election of Jekan Raya City, Palangka Raya City

However, in terms of participation efforts and indications of what possibilities could have an impact on an outcome, it will certainly be influenced by the participation or involvement of young people. It needs to be identified so that in the future it can help their efforts regarding ways or procedures to take part in a correct election. This research was conducted in Jekan Raya Village, Palangkaraya City. The research findings illustrate that social media has a big influence on the millennial generation, especially in recognizing the profiles of candidates running for office.

Accuracy of the scalar magnetometer aboard ESA's JUICE mission

Abstract. This paper discusses the accuracy of the scalar Coupled Dark State Magnetometer on board the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) mission of the European Space Agency (ESA). The scalar magnetometer, referred to as MAGSCA, is part of the J-MAG instrument. MAGSCA is an optical omnidirectional scalar magnetometer based on coherent population trapping, a quantum interference effect, within the hyperfine manifold of the 87Rb D1 line. The measurement principle is only based on natural constants; therefore, it is in principle drift-free, and no calibration is required. However, the technical realisation can influence the measurement accuracy. The most dominating effects are heading characteristics, which are deviations of the magnetic field strength measurements from the ambient magnetic field strength. These deviations are a function of the angle between the sensor axis and the magnetic field vector and are an intrinsic physical property of the measurement principle of the magnetometer. The verification of the accuracy of the instrument is required to ensure its compliance with the performance requirement of 0.2 nT (1σ) with a data rate of 1 Hz. The verification is carried out with four dedicated sensor orientations in a Merritt coil system, which is located in the geomagnetic Conrad Observatory (COBS). The coil system is used to compensate the Earth's magnetic field and to apply appropriate test fields to the sensor. This paper presents a novel method to separate the heading characteristics of the instrument from residual (offset) fields within the coil system by fitting a mathematical model to the measured data and by the successful verification of the MAGSCA performance requirement.

Abstract During European colonial times in Africa and elsewhere, missionary education was an integral part of the colonial instruments for political domination, economic exploitation, and cultural assimilation. This paper aims to investigate the process of making colonial subjects through missionary education that was mainly provided by Catholic and Evangelical mission schools during the Italian colonial period in Eritrea. The paper argues that the Catholic and Evangelical mission schools distinctively worked to achieve their separate objectives that can be explained as employment versus salvation, teaching versus preaching, flag versus Bible, and hands versus soul, respectively. While the Catholic mission school focused on training the hand in order to supply labour, the Evangelical mission school stressed harvesting the soul to cultivate a docile labour force. Despite their differences, the works of the Catholic and Evangelical mission schools placed much emphasis on and exerted much effort to producing a class of colonial subjects that could serve as brokers of power.

Psychometric properties and criterion related validity of the Norwegian version of hospital survey on patient safety culture 2.0

BackgroundSeveral studies have been conducted with the 1.0 version of the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC) in Norway and globally. The 2.0 version has not been translated and tested in Norwegian hospital settings. This study aims to 1) assess the psychometrics of the Norwegian version (N-HSOPSC 2.0), and 2) assess the criterion validity of the N-HSOPSC 2.0, adding two more outcomes, namely ‘pleasure of work’ and ‘turnover intention’.MethodsThe HSOPSC 2.0 was translated using a sequential translation process. A convenience sample was used, inviting hospital staff from two hospitals (N = 1002) to participate in a cross-sectional questionnaire study. Data were analyzed using Mplus. The construct validity was tested with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Convergent validity was tested using Average Variance Explained (AVE), and internal consistency was tested with composite reliability (CR) and Cronbach’s alpha. Criterion related validity was tested with multiple linear regression.ResultsThe overall statistical results using the N-HSOPSC 2.0 indicate that the model fit based on CFA was acceptable. Five of the N-HSOPSC 2.0 dimensions had AVE scores below the 0.5 criterium. The CR criterium was meet on all dimensions except Teamwork (0.61). However, Teamwork was one of the most important and significant predictors of the outcomes. Regression models explained most variance related to patient safety rating (adjusted R2 = 0.38), followed by ‘turnover intention’ (adjusted R2 = 0.22), ‘pleasure at work’ (adjusted R2 = 0.14), and lastly, ‘number of reported events’ (adjusted R2=0.06).ConclusionThe N-HSOPSC 2.0 had acceptable construct validity and internal consistency when translated to Norwegian and tested among Norwegian staff in two hospitals. Hence, the instrument is appropriate for use in Norwegian hospital settings. The ten dimensions predicted most variance related to ‘overall patient safety’, and less related to ‘number of reported events’. In addition, the safety culture dimensions predicted ‘pleasure at work’ and ‘turnover intention’, which is not part of the original instrument.

Algorithms of interpretation of poly-timber vocal and instrumental ensembles in the concertmaster class

Statement of the problem. A significant part of the repertoire in the concertmaster class is chamber vocal works that engage the synthesis of Word and Music, that is, the inseparable trinity of the poetic text, its vocal embodiment, and instrumental accompaniment, which calls for the need for accurate correlation of the efforts of the singer and concertmaster, the performers’ synergy. And although chamber vocal works mostly have purely piano accompaniment, in some cases a part of a string or wind instrument is added to it, and then the mentioned trinity of musical and poetic synthesis is complicated by the appearance of a new, “performance” trinity unit of vocal and two instrumental parts, which requires especially high-quality ensemble, and therefore a special study of algorithms for its achievement, because the teacher from the concertmaster class has to be a kind of director in coordinating all the layers of the musical texture of such a poly-timbre ensemble. Objectives, methods, and novelty of the research. The purpose of this article is to designate a certain algorithm for the interpretation of a chamber vocal-instrumental ensemble in the concertmaster class as a poly-timbre structure represented by the performance trinity of vocal and instrumental parts. Until now, the interpretative issues of a musical and poetic work have not yet been thoroughly considered in scientific publications under such angle. Imagery and dramatic, intonation, timbre and textural, structural and functional, and performance analysis of the musical and poetic text of a number of chamber vocal compositions of different times and styles (by J. Brahms, V. Barvynsky, V. Sylvestrov), carried out in the study, reveals the specifics of the formimg the ensemble vocal and instrumental texture of works as an artistic integrity. Research results and conclusion. Given the specifics of vocal and instrumental compositions with the involvement of an additional string or wind instrument in the piano accompaniment, we state the advisability of using a certain algorithm for learning them in the concertmaster class. First, it is an in-depth analysis of the poetic original source of the work, if necessary, its complete translation from a foreign language, in order to reveal its leading idea and circle of images. Secondly, it is necessary to determine the main factors influencing the style and quality of the performance of the piece, namely: – the type of relationship between Words and Music, as well as the syntactic features of the verbal text, which determine the character of vocal and instrumental intonation; – genre orientation of the composition; – the functions of the instruments in the ensemble, according to the figurative dramaturgy and structure of the composition, both purely textural (solo, accompaniment, subvoice), and figurative-semantic (“Author’s voice”, “adding”, “finishing” of the vocal part, “leit-timbre”, etc.). Therefore, the poly-timbre quality of the accompaniment of the vocal part becomes an important “starting point” of the interpretive work on the vocal piece in the class of concertmaster skill. The performance “trinity unit” obliges to a particularly coordinated ensemble, in particular, between the instrumental parts, when they together realize the artistic idea of the vocal work as the embodiment of the “correlation of the author’s systems (Poet – Composer)” (Buchok, 2022: 44). Regarding the latter, according to our observation, the considered type of chamber vocal instrumental ensemble is connected with the involvement of poetic sources with special semantics – those that appeal to images and ideas of a “higher plane”, are aimed at spiritual contemplation, or convey personal “movements of the soul”, the adequate perception of which is impossible outside the context (in the examined compositions by J. Brahms, V. Barvinsky and V. Sylvestrov – spiritual and religious ones), which implies the presence of poly-semantic figurative structures in such works. So, the use by composers of the timbre of an additional solo instrument in chamber vocal compositions can be connected with the artistic embodiment of a “higher principle”: the inclusion of a segment of “pure” (instrumental) music best conveys the sublimity and spiritual pathos of the images of the poetic Word, reveals its semantic connotations, “personifying” the higher ideological level of the work or the actual “voice” of the Author (Poet – Composer).

Analysis of Damage Handling in The PT Petrokimia Gresik Factory Conveyor Safety System Using The Naive Bayes Method

In the industrial world, the speed of the production process plays a very important role in influencing industrial profits. One of the factors that determines production speed is the conveyor. PT. Petrokimia Gresik is one of the industries that uses conveyors, which pays great attention to accuracy and control of material speed. The function of the conveyor is to send raw materials from PT Petrokimia Gresik fertilizer to be processed. Three safety devices are installed on this tool, namely the low speed switch, outlying belt and cable pull switch. However, this complex security system makes it difficult for field technicians to handle conveyor problems. Problems that occur with conveyors, especially in the electrical and instrumentation parts, are sometimes difficult to find. Therefore, the author had the idea to conduct research related to conveyor problem solving analysis using the naive Bayes classification method. The results of the calculation between naive Bayes calculations and expert opinion show 100% agreement, which is an optimal result. It is hoped that these results can help field technicians in diagnosing and resolving problems when problems occur with conveyors.

Current strategies for early epithelial ovarian cancer detection using miRNA as a potential tool.

Ovarian cancer is one of the most aggressive and significant malignant tumor forms in the female reproductive system. It is the leading cause of death among gynecological cancers owing to its metastasis. Since its preliminary disease symptoms are lacking, it is imperative to develop early diagnostic biomarkers to aid in treatment optimization and personalization. In this vein, microRNAs, which are short sequence non-coding molecules, displayed great potential as highly specific and sensitive biomarker. miRNAs have been extensively advocated and proven to serve an instrumental part in the clinical management of cancer, especially ovarian cancer, by promoting the cancer cell progression, invasion, delayed apoptosis, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, metastasis of cancer cells, chemosensitivity and resistance and disease therapy. Here, we cover our present comprehension of the most up-to-date microRNA-based approaches to detect ovarian cancer, as well as current diagnostic and treatment strategies, the role of microRNAs as oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes, and their significance in ovarian cancer progression, prognosis, and therapy.

Sensory and instrumental texture profile: a study of wafer-type biscuits from different commercial brands

Sensory analysis is applied in different sectors of the food industry, facilitatingthe evaluation of qualitative and quantitative aspects of food. Among these aspects, texture, defined as the mechanical, geometrical, and surface properties of a product, perceived by visual, tactile, and auditory human receptors, is an indispensable parameter in the preparation of biscuits. The present study aimed to define the texture profile of six different brands of wafer-type biscuits. For the pre-selection of the judges, the triangular test was applied, and the judges who discerned different samples went on to the training. The training consisted of setting four attributes, namely, fracturability, adhesiveness, chewability, and hardness. Food was served as reference standards, from the least intense to the most intense for each attribute. In the descriptive test, samples were served individually and the judges were asked to explain their initial perception, chewing experience, and residual sensations. The hardness test was performed on a texturometer by compressing the samples and the instrumental results were compared to the sensory findings. Out of 30 judges in the triangular test, 22 were able to participate in the training, only 12 attended, 9 succeeded 80% of the standards, thus participating in the descriptive test. Comparing the instrumental part with the response of the sensory analysis, a good correlation was observed, with the same divergences between some brands. The C sample was considered by the judges as intermediate, and the same as the hardness with higher intensity, the E sample obtained similar results for both evaluations, where it presented a hardness parameter varying from weak to intermediate.

Cable-Driven Mechanism Models for Sensitive and Actuated Minimally Invasive Robotic Instruments

Cable-driven mechanism models are, usually, included in actuated systems; however, recently, their use for sensitive systems has been explored. In this paper, two cable-driven multi-body mechanism models are compared, underlining advantages and constraints in using sensitive cable-driven mechanisms for minimally invasive robotic instruments. The proposed approach could be useful in bypassing sterilization problems for surgical robotic instruments because our system allows for the separation of the robotic sterilizable part from the sensitive-actuated part of the surgical instrument. The real implementation of the proposed mechanism models, presented partially in other works, are validated in this paper, performing a simulation using a multi-body environment. Results confirm the feasibility of the proposed sensitive-actuated approach, defining new bases for the next challenges of the future.

Digital Assessment Tools: As a Media for Assesing High School Science Learning

This research is to produce a suitable digital assessment tool for high school students' in chemical literacy with validity, reliability, levels of difficulty and discrimination power. The research metodology is Research and Development (R&D) using the Oriondo and Dallo-Antonio model. The research stages include planning the test instrument, testing, determining empirical validity, determining reliability, and interpreting test scores. In the planning (instrument creation), where the validation score estimates by experts in content, language, construction, and media are above 0.8, indicating that the test instrument is considered suitable for further testing to estimate validity, reliability, difficulty levels, and discrimination power. Out of the 25 developed questions, 24 fit the Rasch model. The reliability of Instrument Part I is 0.67, and Part II is 0.65, falling into the "sufficient" category. The questions exhibit varied difficulty levels, ranging from very easy to very difficult, with a standard deviation (SD) of 0.21 for Part I and 0.14 for Part II. The separation achieved by Instrument Part I is into 4 ability groups, while Instrument Part II separates into 2 ability groups. The distractors for multiple-choice questions fall into the "good" and "very good" categories, fulfilling their intended function effectively.

Minat Masyarakat Kota Mataram Berwakaf Uang Yang Dimoderasi Oleh Religiusitas

Waqf is one part of Islamic philanthropic instruments that can be used to support the economy. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the interest of the people of Mataram city in cash waqf. This research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The data collection method uses a non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The research population is unknown, so sampling used the Lemeshow formula with a sample size of 130 respondents. The data used in this research is primary data taken using a questionnaire. This research uses data analysis tools with the Structure Equation Model (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of his research show that trust and subjective norms have a positive and significant effect on the interest of the people of Mataram city in giving cash waqf, while knowledge has no effect on the interest of the people of Mataram city in giving cash waqf. Meanwhile, trust, subjective norms and knowledge which are moderated by religiosity have no effect on the interest in cash waqf from the people of Mataram city.

A Method for Industrial Robots to Grasp and Detect Parts of Instrument under 3D Visual Guidance

<p>Guiding industrial robots to complete grasping tasks through machine vision is an important part of achieving autonomous robot operation. This article explores the control method of industrial robots under 3D vision, focusing on the feature that two-dimensional vision can only perform color and pose recognition but lacks depth recognition. Firstly, a high-precision point cloud registration calibration matrix solution method is proposed. Then, an improved recognition model is designed to address the issue of how vision guides robots to grasp and detect. This model integrates feature extraction and object detection modules, and describes the parameters of each module. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified in the assembly scene of gas instruments. Finally, experimental results show that, the method proposed in this article can limit the grasping accuracy to within 2 millimeters in guiding robots to grasp detection scenes, achieving the expected effect.</p> <p> </p>
