Optimization Model for Agricultural Processed Products Supply Chain Problem in Bandung During Covid-19 Period

Coronavirus disease, commonly called Covid-19, is a virus that causes a pandemic in almost every country globally. One of those countries is Indonesia, which has many big cities with dense populations. This study was conducted in Bandung, the capital of West Java, Indonesia. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bandung was seriously affected in various ways. One was the disruption in the distribution of the agricultural processed products supply chain, which changes producers and consumers' behaviour. Furthermore, as an effort by the government to break the spread of the virus, health protocols limit the distribution. The purpose of this study is to design an optimization model for the supply chain problem of agricultural processed products in Bandung during the Covid-19 period with the objective function is maximizing product suppliers so that all demands on consumers are fulfilled. The use of Local Food Hub (LFH) is a help in this research as a distribution centre point between the producer zone and the consumer zone. Finally, numerical experiments were carried out in two scenarios, namely Large-scale Social Distancing (LSD) and Partial Social Distancing (PSD). It was found that the optimal distribution solution was obtained if the PSD scenario was applied.

Research on e-Commerce Distribution Optimization of Rice Agricultural Products Based on Consumer Satisfaction

With the continuous development of agricultural product e-commerce platforms and the rapid growth of trading volume, conducting in-depth mining and analysis of online review data to improve consumer satisfaction is of considerable importance. This paper uses JingDong’s self-run online reviews of rice agricultural products as the research object and analyzes the logistics factors that affect consumer satisfaction through text mining technology. A multi-objective model for logistics center distribution path optimization under a soft time window was constructed. The model used the results of online review analysis, namely, packaging integrity, delivery timeliness, and logistics cost, as the goals, and the model used ant colony algorithm (ACO) and genetic algorithm (GA) to solve the optimal distribution solution to minimize the penalty cost and transportation cost. Through examples to solve the optimal distribution vehicle number and shipping routes, in addition, a comparison of the two types of algorithm performance of the model under different node number indicated that the number of nodes affects algorithm performance. With a node number below 50, the ant ACO has high precision and a better distribution path. With a node number above 50, GA has more comprehensive performance. The average efficiency of the GA is 12.28% higher than that of ACO.

Optimal distribution of imperfection in conductive constructal designs of arbitrary configurations

In the last decade, different conductive networks for cooling heat generating bodies have been proposed, analyzed, and optimized. Links of a highly conductive material collect the heat generated in an area and conduct it to a heat sink. The important design point is how to dedicate the limited and expensive high conductivity material to each link. Although optimizations have been performed for heat generating bodies of different shapes separately, the lack of a general method is quite obvious in the literature. Therefore, an analytical general solution for optimal distribution of highly conductive material in networks of arbitrary configuration is developed in the present article. The proposed method gives the optimum thickness of each link with a simple expression, which only depends on the geometry of heat generating bodies. Moreover, it is mathematically proved that total thermal resistance of the optimal links is a function of Bejan's parameter k̂φ and a purely geometrical function. This achievement greatly simplifies the design and optimization of any conductive cooling network. Results of the present simple formulation for configurations of various geometries are completely consistent with the available analytical and numerical solutions.
