The development of information technology (IT) has had a significant impact on increasing the efficiency and quality of health services. Specialized Eye Hospitals, as facilities with specialized services, require IT infrastructure that can support medical and administrative operations optimally. The TOGAF framework (The Open Group Architecture Framework) offers a systematic approach to designing, managing and implementing effective IT architecture. This study aims to examine the application of TOGAF in IT infrastructure planning at a Special Eye Hospital. The research methods used include IT needs analysis, IT architecture modeling based on TOGAF, and evaluation of the architecture implementation. The research results show that the application of TOGAF is able to increase operational efficiency, speed up access to patient information, and improve overall service quality. This research contributes to providing practical guidance for other hospitals wishing to optimize their IT systems using the TOGAF approach.

Digital Transformation in the Music Industry: Session Musicians Matchmaking Platform Effectiveness Analysis

The music industry has been through a significant digital transformation in recent years, with one interesting development being the rise of matchmaking platforms for session musicians. Despite their potential benefits, the effectiveness and impact of these platforms on the music industry are not well studied. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of session musician matchmaking platforms and their implications for the music industry. Leveraging the architecture capabilities of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), specifically the Architecture Development Method (ADM), all the participants with their current processes and pain points are identified. The identified pain points are then validated using the empathy map method through an online questionnaire. From the identified pain points, values are developed as the main targets for pain relievers in the current situation, which are later evaluated against existing platforms of a similar nature. After comprehensive research and data analysis, several key insights emerged. First, the findings reveal that, under the current traditional model, the collaboration process between session musicians and music entertainment continues to function effectively. Second, there is enthusiasm among participants for platforms that offer solutions to common challenges faced in collaboration processes. However, the research data shows low levels of adoption and utilization among participants. This suggests there is a huge opportunity for the development and promotion of matchmaking platforms designed specifically for session musicians and music entertainment to enhance collaboration and improve the music industry.

Application Development Model E-Commerce in Traditional Markets Using the TOGAF Framework

The existence of traditional markets is increasingly being eroded by the presence of online market models that already utilize various e-commerce platforms. However, the TOGAF Framework provides a ray of hope. Even though the existence of traditional markets is unlikely to disappear, if traders in traditional markets do not try to adapt to using e-commerce, it will have an impact on losing customers, losing turnover, and will even affect the acceleration of their business. Architectural design for system development in traditional market activities can provide an important picture of how to advance traditional market industries that will not be out of competition with modern markets. TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) provides a detailed method of how patterns build, manage, and implement enterprise architecture and information systems called the Architecture Development Method. Analysis using the TOGAF Framework provides an overview of how to plan, design, develop and implement information system architectures for traditional markets. The results of this design analysis are an information technology architectural design which is the basis for traditional market managers, especially in Indonesia, in advancing the business processes of traders in the market so that they are not unable to compete with modern markets but with gap analysis constraints that must really be considered with regard to internet infrastructure problems in the market, sellers who are not fully able to use technology due to age and not all forms of goods on the market can be sold through e-commerce platforms. This gap analysis will make e-commerce implementation slow to implement.

The rapid development of information technology provides great benefits in the business world, but its utilization must be aligned with industry goals to avoid failures arising from lack of planning PT Hariansyah Karya Group is a service provider company with various business units under its auspices facing challenges in selecting and implementing information systems and information technology in accordance with business needs. This research focuses on designing an integrated enterprise architecture using the The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) framework and the Architecture Development Method (ADM) to meet the business needs of PT Hariansyah Karya Group and analyze business needs and design appropriate architectural solutions. The research includes five main phases of TOGAF ADM: Preliminary Phase, Architecture Vision, Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture, and Technology Architecture. The results of the research are used as a guide for developing an integrated information system at PT Hariansyah Karya Group that can increase operational efficiency, improve coordination between business units, and support company growth to adapt to technological developments. In addition, this research aims to improve the performance and efficiency of business processes at PT Hariansyah Karya Group after the implementation of the new enterprise architecture. With good enterprise architecture planning and in accordance with business strategy, PT Hariansyah Karya Group is expected to optimize its business processes and reduce the risk of information system implementation failure.

The research involves identifying current issues with the manual system used for infrastructure management, collecting data through observations, interviews, and document analysis, and developing a comprehensive information system that integrates and automates these processes. The TOGAF-ADM framework is employed to map the required architectural solutions, including business, application, and technology architectures. Implementation of this system aims to enhance efficiency, data consistency, and ease of asset tracking. The expected outcome is a robust, integrated information system that supports better infrastructure management, aligning with the school's mission to provide high-quality, technologically advanced education.

EA planning begins with an in-depth analysis of the academic literature study environment, including a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced. Subsequently, business requirement mapping is conducted to identify the strategic goals and objectives that the information system must achieve. Structured approaches like TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) are often used as a guide in EA planning to ensure consistency and sustainability of the information system. Additionally, it is important to note that EA planning does not solely focus on technical aspects but also involves organizational, human, and process aspects. The essence of this proposal is to plan an architectural effort as an aid to improving IS and IT at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo in the future. The method used is The Open Group Architecture Framework – Architecture Development Method (TOGAF ADM). The information obtained utilizes qualitative research obtained from observations, document studies and interviews. The continued impact of this research is business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture. The selected design content includes application portfolio catalog, application/organization matrix, logical data diagram and computer network diagram. It is believed that this recommendation can be a reference for improving or developing IS and IT at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo to realize the vision and mission of SMAN 3 Sidoarjo through business architecture, information systems architecture and technology architecture..

AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and robotics are becoming ubiquitous technologies in the industry sector, which has witnessed several successive industrial revolutions: mechanization, electrification, digitalization, and now Industry 4.0. The Sukahaji Village Office is a government institution that operates in the Village in the Sukahaji District Majalengka. The Sukahaji Village Government has not implemented an Information System in carrying out its duties, this can be seen from the obstacles faced by the Village Government. The obstacle faced is the frequent hoarding of old data, making it difficult when it will be recorded again, in fact there is usually lost data that requires a system that can help data storage. The purpose of this research is to provide direction to be able to implement information systems for data storage. performance in the future, the method used in the development of enterprise architecture this time is the TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework) method using 3 (three) phases out of 9 (nine) phases, namely the Preliminary Phase, Architecture Vision Phase and Business Architecture Phase. This research will produce a blueprint and provide a roadmap using the elements contained in the TOGAF at the Village Office in order to implement the Sukahaji Village Office performance information system in the future.

A Knowledg Graph Model for e-Government

Many governments around the world have invested huge amount of resource to build their e- Government capabilities, to meet government objectives of effective public service delivery and citizens engagement. The increase in size of an e-Government landscape has led to the increase in complexity of the infrastructure. This increasing complex infrastructure presents a challenge for governments to continue to meet its objectives. Knowledge Graph (KG), a constituent AI technology, has shown a lot of promise in helping governments meet its objectives in the midst of the complexity. A major aspect of this complexity is the need to maintain a single view of the world, in the form of a unified meaning of data, within a given e-Government instance, given the heterogeneity in data models used in the different departments within an e-Government instance. In this paper, we present a unique perspective in addressing the problem of deriving semantic meaning from disparate data in an e-Government context, using KG. Our aim is to advance the objectives of effective service delivery and citizens engagement in a complex e- Government instance. We focus on creating a data- centric architectural model that is single, simple and extensible, based on KG. We create a functional model based on architectural view and viewpoints from standards such as The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF). The functional model highlights the various components that underpin the functions. We have developed our model within the context of a Design Science Research (DSR) approach, and we provide evaluation of same model within that context. An e- Government KG model guides the development of KG solutions in e-Government, in order to achieve the e- Government enterprise goals of effective service delivery and citizens engagement.

By utilizing the TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method) methodology, the research seeks to develop a strategic plan for information systems that enhances service efficiency and streamlines operations. Methods: The research employs the TOGAF ADM methodology to guide the strategic planning process for information systems improvement. Four key aspects are considered: vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, and technology architecture. Through a systematic approach, the study identifies areas for improvement and proposes strategic initiatives to optimize the utilization of information systems and technology. Results and Discussion: Analysis of the current operational processes within PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel reveals inefficiencies in manual operations and document management, leading to delays and increased resource consumption. The application of TOGAF ADM methodology facilitates the development of strategic plans across various architectural domains. The proposed initiatives include enhancements in vision architecture, business processes, information system integration, and technological infrastructure to optimize information system utilization and improve service delivery efficiency. Implications of the Research: The findings have significant implications for PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel, providing actionable insights for enhancing service efficiency and operational effectiveness through strategic information systems planning. By aligning business objectives with technology capabilities, the proposed initiatives aim to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the existing literature by applying the TOGAF ADM methodology to address operational challenges within the tour and travel industry. By integrating strategic planning principles with architectural frameworks, the research offers a structured approach to information systems development and optimization. The proposed strategic plan provides a roadmap for PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel to leverage information systems effectively, thereby enhancing its competitive position and service delivery capabilities in the market.

<span>Sports currently have an impact on human life, especially in the health sector. One way of exercising that is popular with many people today is by exercising at the fitness center. One of them is a fitness center located in Bandung. This research aims to obtain design results that can adapt business processes in fitness centers and can help the company's performance so that its vision and mission are achieved. The current business process is still experiencing problems because business has not yet been integrated with information technology (IT), so a business process proposal was made using the business architecture method. By conducting interviews and observations, data can be collected. From this data, it can be seen that business implementation in fitness centers is not yet optimal, so it is necessary to develop information system technology that is in line with the company's business. This technology development is based on business architecture which produces a company blueprint and is assisted by the open group architecture framework (TOGAF) which can help analyze company needs. The results of this research are in the form of recommendations which will later be proposed so that benefits for the company can be achieved more quickly.</span>

Given the escalating intricacy of the transportation system, the primary emphasis is on the synergy between ITS and EA, which is organized and structured using TOGAF. This study aims to determine how the TOGAF framework can aid in developing a more sustainable and efficient transportation system by facilitating the integration of EA and ITS. This methodology is grounded in qualitative analysis, particularly an exhaustive review of the relevant literature. This literature review identifies current trends and best practices regarding applying TOGAF for EA integration in ITS. Research shows that transportation service operational efficiency and effectiveness are enhanced when EA and ITS are integrated using TOGAF, improving coordination, resource management, and strategic decision-making. This, in turn, supports sustainable mobility.

In some educational institutions, there are still issues, such as challenges in managing student data, lack of educator performance, and others. Therefore, the implementation of information technology has a profound impact on improving the management of university and school systems. Each educational institution should have standards to enhance business agreements and strategies. Enterprise Architecture can be utilized by schools and universities to facilitate the student admission process through the implementation of various systems. The results of the journal evaluation show that the majority of research studies use TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) as a framework to generate an Enterprise Architecture blueprint that can be utilized for integrating information systems, thus demonstrating that the implementation of enterprise architecture can influence the improvement of business process efficiency in the education sector. Additionally, there are differences in frameworks among previous studies, such as the utilization of Enterprise Architecture Planning and Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework. Each research journal also presents certain strengths and weaknesses, such as the ineffectiveness of including required cost estimates, among others.

To help the School achieve SNP, enterprise architecture modeling brings its business strategy and technology together. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) can be used as the framework to organize the structures and objects related to the organization in architectural modeling. A method, such as the Architecture Development Method (ADM), is also used to determine the Enterprise Architecture in detail.The goal of information system architectural design analysis is to get a clear image of the information system and better communicate to users how it will operate. In this study, a generic architectural model design connected to the organization's vision and goal was generated using the TOGAF technique as a tool for building and designing enterprise architecture. The study's findings point to a connection between various types of architecture, starting with business architecture, application architecture, and information system architecture, which can create a framework for constructing and developing integrated information systems in schools that can be used as a guide by all organizational units. The outcomes of combining the three primary activities' information system planning and application efforts will be used as tools to support the school's vision, purpose, and goals.

Agile Application Landscape Planning in Energy Sector – Architectural Experiences

The continuously changing and developing technology framework and IT infrastructure create novel approaches and possibilities all over the industry spectrum. Thus the energy and its IT supporting segment cannot be an exception either. Nowadays it is hard to imagine any kind of work process on energy generation, transmission, distribution or consumption filed without IT application solutions. To keep this portfolio transparent and effective a methodology is needed for developments and strategy planning. In this paper enterprise application landscape planning experiences and recommendations are introduced. The approach effectively combines the TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and Agile methods. At the end of a five years ‘journey’, the evolution can be followed from a target architecture planning approach to a novel solution which is in use right now. To conclude this work a group of techniques and methods are suggested for the application of these solutions for a sustainable and forward-looking application portfolio at a reasonable cost level.

This will reduce the attainment of innovation, adaptability, and efficiency, all of which are critical for sustaining competitiveness in a dynamic marketplace. By applying TOGAF principles to the automotive manufacturing system, Enterprise Architecture can support ever more complex business requirements.
