СТРАТЕГИЧЕСКОЕ УПРАВЛЕНИЕ: КЛАССИЧЕСКИЙ КОНЦЕПТ ИЛИ ИНСТРУМЕНТ РАЗВИТИЯ КОМПАНИЙ

The article examines the application of the concept of strategic management as a methodological tool for creating an additional competitive advantage. It has been established that the choice of a company’s location can ensure competitive stability from the standpoint of forming strategic management. Scientific research in the field of choosing a company location is fragmentary; in practice, the discovery and selection of a location is carried out intuitively. The proposed concept was tested using the example of choosing the location of a Korean cosmetics store in Belgorod. The study made it possible to determine the strategic factors of the attractiveness of objects: marketing (pricing policy, service and interior) and geographical (availability of parking, number of infrastructure facilities), digital (information processing of spatial data). The optimal location option for opening a MYSKIN store in the city of Belgorod has been determined.

Peran Wing In Ground Effect Craft (WIG) Terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah Jepara-Karimunjawa

Tourism objects in Jepara Regency and Karimunjawa District can be relied on for both natural tourism and marine biodata so that they attract tourists both domestically and internationally. From 2009 to 2019 there was an increase even though the amount was not constant, this was enough to increase the local Regional Revenue Budget. one way that can raise prestige in the world of tourism in the era of globalization and the digital era 4.0 is by adding means of sea ship transportation with the model of a winged passenger ship, which can fly low above sea level, faster and more efficiently by displaying the Weigh-In Ground Effect (WIG). The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in local revenue (PAD) for tourism objects with the addition of a fleet of fast passenger boats based on wing in grounds effect craft (WIG) at tourism objects in Karimunjawa, Jepara. This research uses quantitative data with associative type. The data collection technique used by the researcher is based on documentation, library studies, and the results of the development of previous researchers. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of increasing tourism supporting elements, the number of infrastructure facilities, and tourism promotion costs on increasing regional income.

A TYPIFICATION OF LITHOTECHNICAL SYSTEMS FOR SUBSTANTIATING LANDSLIDE ENGINEERING PROTECTION SCHEMES

This paper considers a typification of lithotechnical systems for the further development of standard schemes of landslide engineering protection. This study was based on a function assessment of a number of infrastructure facilities constructed for the Winter Olympic Games in 2014 in the Mzymta river valley. This valley is characterized by highly developed exogenous geological processes, including landslides. The typification of lithotechnical systems was carried out taking into account the following characteristics: a landslide type; a type of engineering structure; a landslide risk category; the relationship between the size of the influence zone of an engineering structure and the characteristic dimension of a landslide; the location of an engineering structure relative to a landslide slope (its head, middle, or bottom part); and the method of the construction of an engineering structure (on an embankment, in an excavation, without any relief transformation). In addition, this paper provides recommendations for taking the selected types of lithotechnical systems into account for the design of landslide engineering protection.

The Dynamics of Service Delivery and Agricultural Development in India – A District Level Analysis –

This paper uses district-level data from India for the Census period 1991-2001 to investigate the nexus between agricultural sector development and service delivery in education, health, transportation, and communication. It asks whether local differences in public service provision cause some districts to fare better in terms of agricultural and ultimately rural development than others. In order to control for regional heterogeneities in agro-ecological conditions and consequent heterogeneities in agricultural potential and development, district agricultural sector performance is approximated with the yield level of district-specific commercial and field crops. The evidence from visualization and standard regression techniques shows that district dissimilarities in crop yield and ultimately agricultural development are not attributable to district differences in the endowment with infrastructure facilities. That is, the number of infrastructure facilities does not explain agricultural development. What seems to be more important instead is the quality of rural services. This paper concludes that progress in agricultural and ultimately rural sector performance does not require more infrastructure facilities, but the effective utilization of existing ones. To this end, the supply side of service delivery needs to be investigated in greater detail, especially with respect to the governance challenges of public service provision and the difficulties arising from, for instance, complex administrative structures or manpower, financial, political, and capacity constraints.
