The Impact of Mining on Labor Absorption and the Economy of Working Families in Lasolo District, North Konawe Regency

This research aims to measure the impact of PT. XYZ towards employment and the economy of working families in North Konawe Regency. The research method used is qualitative using primary and secondary data. Data was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Company Data, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the existence of PT. XYZ in Lasolo District, North Konawe Regency absorbs 35 workers from the local area and 15 workers from outside the area. Even though the number of employees is only 50 people, this company's contribution to employment reaches 0.10% of the total workforce in North Konawe. However, the role of PT. XYZ supports the economy of working families quite significantly, with an average contribution reaching 91.39% of family income. This shows that even though the number of workers absorbed is relatively small, the economic impact is quite large for the families of the workers involved.

Role of Physical Evidence and Empathy in Influencing Patient Visit Rates at Hialu Health Center, North Konawe

Introduction: The number of patient visits to the Hialu Health Center continues to increase with an average number of patient visits in 2021 of 225 visits per month. This study was conducted at the Hialu Health Center, Landawe District, North Konawe Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Relationship between Physical Evidence and Empathy to the Level of Patient Visits at the Hialu Health Center, Landawe District, North Konawe Regency. Method: This study uses a quantitative method with a comparative research design. The population of the entire Landawe District community is 2,843 people and a sample of 351 using the Slovin formula. Result: Based on the linearity test between variables, the variables of physical evidence and empathy generally have an effect on the level of patient visits to the Hialu Health Center, Landawe District, North Konawe Regency. Conclusion: The relevant government, especially the Health Service, must continue to provide easy access for the Hiau Health Center to improve health facilities and infrastructure in order to provide more optimal health services to the community.

Study on Environmental and Health History Risk Factors for Pneumonia Cases in Toddlers at Motui Health Center

Introduction: Pneumonia case data in North Konawe Regency / 1000 Toddlers in 2017 found 121 cases, in 2018 found 175 cases, in 2019 increased found 162 cases for 2020 decreased by 158 cases and in 2021 found increased with a total of 240 cases from 888 toddlers handled by health workers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Risk Factors of Toddler Health History and Environment on Pneumonia Cases in Toddlers in the Motui Health Center Work Area. Method: The study used a quantitative method with an observational approach using a Case Control Study design. This study was conducted from March 1 to May 1, 2023. The sample size for each group was at least 46 samples. The comparison of case and control samples is 1: 1. The total sample is 92 respondents with a simple random sampling technique, using the SPSS 26 statistical test. Result: The health history of toddlers has a risk of 8.67 times for the occurrence of pneumonia, environmental conditions have a risk of 8.91 times for the occurrence of pneumonia in toddlers in the Motui Health Center Work Area. Conclusion: The need for a North Konawe District Health Service specifically for handling infectious disease programs.

Exploring Value-oriented Storytelling Influences Traveler Loyalty Through Satisfaction and Image

This study explores the impact of Value-oriented Storytelling on Tourist Loyalty, with the mediation of Customer Satisfaction and Destination Image, using a sample of 196 tourists who visited the "Diamond Triangle" in North Konawe Regency. The results show that Customer Satisfaction, Destination Image, and Value-oriented Storytelling have a significant influence on Tourist Loyalty. Customer Satisfaction has a direct impact on loyalty, while Destination Image plays a role in enhancing both satisfaction and tourist loyalty. Value-oriented Storytelling significantly strengthens Destination Image, which in turn increases Customer Satisfaction and drives Tourist Loyalty. Additionally, it was found that Value-oriented Storytelling also has an indirect effect on Tourist Loyalty through Destination Image and Customer Satisfaction, highlighting the importance of storytelling in destination marketing strategies. The limitations of this study include its specific focus on North Konawe and its short-term perspective. Future research is recommended to expand the sample size and use a longitudinal approach to explore the long-term impact of Value-oriented Storytelling on Tourist Loyalty

The dynamics of social-ecological interactions in the PAAP (fisheries access management area) Taluk Lasolo Region, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province: A comprehensive approach to sustainable renewal

Abstract This research aims to study the dynamics of social-ecological interactions in the Teluk Lasolo PAAP (Fisheries Access Management Area) in North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The study adopts a comprehensive approach to sustainable development, utilizing Social-Ecological Network Analysis (SENA). The Teluk Lasolo PAAP area is a complex environment with small-scale fisheries as a crucial component of the coastal ecosystem. Using the SENA method, this research analyzes the interactions between social and ecological dimensions in the context of fisheries management based on access rights. The study also considers economic aspects, governance, and resource utilization within the social-ecological network. The case study is conducted in the Teluk Lasolo area to understand the complex dynamics among various stakeholders, fishing communities, and the coastal ecosystem. The findings of this research will provide profound insights and knowledge about the factors influencing the sustainability of small-scale fisheries and offer recommendations for sustainable updates in fisheries resource management in the region. In conclusion, this research highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach involving social-ecological interactions in managing small-scale fisheries. The results of this study are expected to make a positive contribution to the development of sustainable fisheries management strategies in the Teluk Lasolo PAAP area and other coastal regions. Analysis of Supporting Factors for Implementing the Open Innovation Strategy at the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency in Southeast Sulawesi

Open Innovation is an approach that utilizes ideas, knowledge and external resources to increase innovation and organizational competitiveness. Through development and innovation at the regional level, local communities can be actively involved in the decision-making process, make real contributions, and experience the impact of development directly. This research aims to analyze the factors that support the implementation of the Open Innovation strategy at the Regional Development Planning, Research and Innovation Agency (called BAPPERIDA) in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. This research was conducted in 5 cities/regencies in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, namely Kendari City, North Konawe Regency, Bombana Regency, Kolaka Regency, and South Konawe Regency. Data analysis was carried out using a quantitative approach with instruments tests, namely the KMO and Bartlett's Test Anti Image Correlation, Communalities, Total Variance Explained and Rotate Image Matrix to analyze the factors that support the implementation of the open innovation strategy in BAPPERIDA cities/districts in Southeast Sulawesi. A questionnaire was distributed to 75 BAPPERIDA employees to obtain valid data regarding the implementation of the open innovation strategy. The findings of this research show that the implementation of open innovation at BAPPERIDA is supported by organizational policy factors, innovation culture, involvement of external parties, and knowledge management.

Tectonic Geomorphology of Ultramafic Complex in Asera, North Konawe Regency

Ultramafic complex in Sulawesi have many potential from mining to environmental aspects. The process of weathering and tectonic is a key factor in understanding how to utilize these potential. Tectonic geomorphology by using morphometric indices and field observation has proven to be a beneficial method in distinguishing the topography and morphogenetic development of a region due to the complex interaction between erosional processes and tectonic movements. IAT measurement of 71 sub-basins shows that tectonic activity in the research area are divided into 4 classes with values ranging from 1,5 – 2,6. Field observation shows that morphologically the research area are faulted hills consist of peridotite, dunite and pyroxenite with various degree of weathering. The effect of weathering also reveal on the shape of sub-basins and drainage density in the research area. Tectonic activity present in the form of intensive joint on some parts, with no clear correlation with IAT Class. keyword: tectonic geomorphology, carbon capture storage, ultramafic, east Sulawesi ophiolite, morphometric indices

ANALISIS BUDAYA DAN PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA PETANI PLASMA PADA PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT (STUDI KASUS PADA PT. SULTRA PRIMA LESTARI)

This study aims to determine the work culture and work productivity of plasma farmers working at PT Sultra Prima Lestari and the relationship between the two. The population of this study is all plasma farmers who work at PT Sultra Prima Lestari in Andowia District, North Konawe Regency, totaling 120 people divided into 10 farmer groups. Determination of the number of research samples using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 25%, so that the research sample amounted to 54 respondents. This research uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection in the field using survey methods, interviews, and documentation using instruments in the form of questionnaires or questionnaires. Variables in this study, namely the work culture of farmers (variable X) and work productivity of farmers (variable Y). The data were analyzed in a quantitative descriptive way using the class interval formula and the Spearman rank correlation formula with the help of SPSS 26 software. The results showed that the work culture of plasma farmers included togetherness, and work intensity in the production of oil palm farming at PT Sultra Perima Lestari was in the high category. The work productivity of plasma farmers includes quality of work, quantity of work, and timeliness of work in the production of oil palm farming at PT Sultra Perima Lestari is in the high category. Work culture with plasma farmers' work productivity has a significant relationship with a value of 0.491 ≥ r table 0.26, meaning it is quite close and the sig value of 0.00 is smaller than the significance level at the α level of 0.05.

Influence of Training and Honorarium on the Work Effectiveness of Employees at the Regional Secretariat Procurement of Goods and Services Division, North Konawe Regency Government

This study aims to analyze the influence of training and honorarium on the work effectiveness of employees at the Regional Secretariat Procurement of Goods and Services Division, North Konawe Regency Government. There are still deficiencies in the external equity of honorarium, creating uncertainty and disappointment among employees. This study seeks to answer whether training and honorarium affect employee work effectiveness. The research methodology used is descriptive methods and multiple linear regression analysis with a sample size of 31 employees. The main results of the study indicate that training and honorarium have a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness. Employees perceive the provided training and honorarium as highly satisfactory, which implicates an improvement in work effectiveness. Good training enhances employees' knowledge and skills, while fair honorarium motivates employees to work more effectively. The implications of this study suggest that improvements in the training and honorarium system can enhance employee work effectiveness in the institution.

FUZZY LOGIC APPLICATION FOR DETERMINING THE FEASIBILITY OF NICKEL MINING IN SOUTHEAST SULAWESI PROVINCE

This study uses the Mamdani method to assess the feasibility of nickel mining locations in Southeast Sulawesi Province. Despite the crucial role of mining in the Indonesian economy, research on the site feasibility decisions in mining using the Mamdani method still needs to be completed. Therefore, this study addresses this knowledge gap by providing new contributions and effective solutions. The Mamdani method is employed in the various stages of mining activities, particularly in feasibility studies, which are the main focus. Mining feasibility studies involve both technical and non-technical analyses, encompassing aspects such as nickel reserves and environmental impacts. This research seeks to expand the use of the Mamdani method in mining site feasibility decisions, offering sustainable and environmentally responsible solutions. The research results show that North Konawe Regency has very large estimated nickel reserves but has a relatively low environmental impact and is quite far from the port, thus achieving a high location suitability score for mining. On the other hand, Konawe Regency has lower nickel reserves but has quite a large environmental impact, and the distance to the port is quite far, so the location feasibility score is lower. The outcomes of this research are expected to provide new insights, fill knowledge gaps, and serve as a valuable reference for future mining site feasibility decision-making. The translation is accurate, well-structured, and free from plagiarism.

Determinants of Unwanted Pregnancy in Indonesia in 2022

Unwanted pregnancy in teenagers is the impact of deviant sexual behavior. Adolescents with Unwanted pregnancy are faced with various problems, especially health problems for mothers and babies, and socio-economic problems. This research aims to examine the determinants of untimely pregnancy in adolescents in North Konawe Regency. The research design uses a Cross Sectional Study conducted in September 2022-February 2023 in three randomly selected sub-districts of North Konawe Regency. A total of 80 teenage girls aged 14-19 years who experienced untimely pregnancy were sampled. The research uses a structured questionnaire technique guided by researchers which has been previously tested and analyzed using the Fisher Exact test. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the variables were Knowledge (p=0.568>0.05), Attitude (p=0.002<0.05), Action (p=0.74>0.05), Permissive Parenting Pattern (p=0.109>0.05), Peer Pressure Peers (p=0.592>0.05), Use of Technology (p=0.034<0.05) and Religiosity (p=0.001<0.05). The results of this research show that there is a relationship between Attitude, Use of Technology and Religiosity, and there is no relationship between Knowledge, Action, Permissive Parenting Patterns and Peer Pressure with Unwanted Pregnancy in teenagers in the North Konawe Regency Area. Thus, the Reproductive Health Education program for Adolescents in formal education involves education stakeholders including the School Committee which is a reference material and a program to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancy in adolescents in the North Konawe Regency area.

The effect of training, leadership effectiveness and work environment on employee performance in the Procurement of Goods and Services Section of the Regional Secretariat of North Konawe Regency

This study examines the influence of training, leadership effectiveness, and work environment on employee performance in the Goods and Services Procurement Section of the Regional Secretariat of North Konawe Regency. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression. The population of this study includes all 31 employees of the Procurement Section, who also served as the sample for this research. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale, then analyzed with statistical tests. The results show that training, leadership effectiveness, and the work environment collectively have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Individually, each variable was also proven to positively and significantly affect performance. This study emphasizes that improving the quality of training provided, leadership effectiveness, and a comfortable work environment play a significant role in enhancing employee performance. These findings can serve as a reference for government agencies in formulating more effective employee development strategies.

Effect of Using Sianawai Konasara Application on Motivation and Performance for Employees Education and Cultural Office, North Konawe District

The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the effect of using Sianawai Konasara application on employee motivation and performance at the Office of Education and Culture of North Konawe Regency, as well as to assess the role of motivation as a mediator in the relationship between application use and employee performance. This study involved a total population of 132 state civil apparatus working at the Education and Culture Office of North Konawe Regency, with a random sample of 57 respondents. The data collection method was carried out through questionnaires and data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 4.0. The results showed that the use of the Sianawai Konasara application had a positive and significant effect on employee motivation and employee performance. Furthermore, employee motivation is proven to significantly influence employee performance and acts as a positive mediator in the relationship between the use of Sianawai Konasara application and employee performance. These findings provide valuable insights for the development of human resource management strategies in the public sector, particularly in the application of information technology to improve employee motivation and performance.

The Effect of Binahong Leaf (Anredera Cordifolia) on Hemoglobin Levels in Anemic Pregnant in the Coastal Area of North Konawe District

Binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia) in several regions in Indonesia are known as gandola which is usually used as a hedge plant. Binahong is believed to be an herbal plant that can bring health benefits. All parts of this plant such as roots, stems and leaves can be used in herbal medicine. One of the nutrients contained in binahong leaves is iron, namely in 100 grams there is 0.4 grams of iron. The research aims to determine the effect of giving decoction of Binahong leaves to pregnant women who experience anemia in the Coastal Area of North Konawe Regency. The results of this research are that giving binahong (Anredera cordifolia) decoction shows that there is a difference in the Hb levels of pregnant women between before and after being given binahong leaves (intervention group).

Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pertambangan Melalui Kewirausahaan

Community empowerment is an effort made by the community, with or without external support, to improve their lives based on their own resources through efforts to optimize their resources and increase their bargaining position. The aim of this community service activity is to guide and assist mining area communities in entrepreneurship. This community activity was carried out on November 25–30, 2023, in the mining area of PT Hillconjaya Shakti, which is located in Lameruru Village, Langgikima District, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This community service activity was carried out with several activities, namely: (1) delivery of material about entrepreneurship by lecturers at Muhammadiyah University of Sorong for 1 day; (2) assistance in entrepreneurship for 2 days; and (3) community empowerment in entrepreneurship for 2 days. One of the efforts undertaken is to produce raw food ingredients into ready-to-eat food. Apart from the fast food business, the community also participates in the grocery store business. What is meant by grocery store here is a service that offers various daily necessities products with a small minimarket concept.

Evaluasi Status Hara N, P, K Berdasarkan Toposekuen pada Tanah Lahan Cengkeh di Desa Puulemo Kecamatan Lembo Kabupaten Konawe Utara

This research was carried out on a clove plantation in Puulemo Village, Lembo District, North Konawe Regency from June to July 2022. The purpose of this study was: to determine the nutrient status of different toposequences on community clove plantation in Puulemo Village, Lembo District, North Konawe Regency. The method used in the field is a survey method based on toposequence. Soil samples were taken by purposive sampling at three points, namely the top, middle and bottom of the slope with a depth of 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm. The samples were brought to the laboratory for analysis of the content of pH, Organic-C, nitrogen nutrients, phosphorus, soil potassium and soil CEC. The results showed that the assessment of some soil chemical properties in clove soil based on toposequences in Puulemo Village, Lembo District, North Konawe Regency, it can be stated that the total-N content in layers 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm were classified as moderate, available-K and available-P were classified as very low, pH values were classified as acidic, organic-C content was classified as very low and CEC content was classified as moderate at the top and bottom. in the middle and bottom at the 0-30 cm layer is classified as moderate while at the 30-60 cm layer it is classified as low.Keywords: Clove plant soil, nutrient status, toposekuen

Evaluation of the Existing Conditions of Tinobu Port, Lasolo District, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province

The research location is located in Tinobu Village, Lasolo District, North Konawe Regency, which is a developing area and is known for its abundant natural wealth. Tinobu Port existed before Indonesia's independence, where Tinobu Port is tens of years old and has become an icon on the coast of North Konawe Regency, especially in Tinobu Village. Tinobu Port does not have any main facilities or supporting facilities that can facilitate activities at the port. Tinobu Port is widely used by local fishermen for loading and unloading of fish to be sold around the North Konawe Regency area and some are even sold as far as the city of Kendari. development after development has been carried out by the surrounding community as well as assistance from the local government so that at this time Tinobu Port already has a causeway with a length of approximately 400 (four hundred) meters, but due to the age factor, the condition of the causeway has also suffered a lot of damage. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Existing Conditions of Tinobu Port, Lasolo District, North Konawe Regency in the form of several surveys conducted directly at the research location for future development purposes.

This research examines the implementation of forest protection policies in North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, by the Gakkum LHK Kendari Post, with the aim of making a significant contribution to the broader improvement of forest policy implementation in Indonesia. The study involves an analysis of implementation effectiveness, factors influencing implementation, and policy characteristics as well as environmental issues. The research employs a qualitative research method, detailing findings through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate personnel imbalance, budget limitations, deforestation due to illegal mining, and challenges in infrastructure and coordination as the primary obstacles to policy implementation. Applying Mazmanian and Sabatier's policy implementation theory provides insights into the crucial roles of environmental factors, policy characteristics, and issue specifics in achieving successful forest protection policy implementation.
