The research investigates the diverse potential attractions of Mount Telomoyo, a natural tourist destination in Central Java, Indonesia. With a growing number of visitors each year, this study aims to analyze the key components that contribute to its appeal. Utilizing qualitative methods, including interviews, observations, and documentation, the research identifies four main components of attraction: natural beauty, cultural significance, accessibility, and amenities. The natural allure of Mount Telomoyo is heightened by its stunning landscapes, surrounded by prominent mountains and offering panoramic views of Rawa Pening and nearby cities. Culturally, the site hosts annual traditional events such as the Saparan ceremony, reflecting the local community's cultural heritage. Accessibility is also a significant factor, with easy routes to the peak, facilitated by available transportation services. Moreover, the amenities provided, including accommodations, dining options, and organized tours, enhance the overall visitor experience. The study concludes that Mount Telomoyo’s tourism potential is distinguished by its combination of natural, cultural, and man-made attractions, supported by accessible infrastructure and comprehensive services. These findings suggest that continuous development and management are essential to sustaining and increasing tourist interest in the region.

Pendampingan Tamanisasi: Upaya Meningkatkan Daya Tarik Bukit Tinatar sebagai Destinasi Wisata Alam

Tinatar Hill is a natural destination located in Sri Mulyo Village, Piyungan District, Bantul Regency, currently requiring management to increase its natural charm to attract more visitors. Pengelola Wisata Bukit Tinatar has synergized with the local community and the Srimulyo Village Government to make various breakthroughs to make Bukit Tinatar a natural tourist destination that is popular with tourists. However, the land on Tinatar Hill is less fertile, so during the dry season, this tourist area looks very barren and hot. Pengelola Wisata has reforested several plants that dry out and die during the dry season. Pengelola Wisata Bukit Tinatar also continues to improve by creating a main park that tourists can find before entering the hill area. However, Pengelola Wisata still encounter obstacles regarding the types of plants that suit the conditions of the barren land and their maintenance. Based on this background, this service activity aims to increase Pengelola Wisata' capacity to create the main park on Tinatar Hill through outreach and mentoring activities. Service is carried out in the form of counseling activities, assistance with ornamental plants, and assistance with garden maintenance. The result of this dedication is the creation of the main park and the Pengelola Wisata' ability to maintain the park, but in the long term, there is still a need for high awareness of caring for the park.

Enhancing social cooperation through hiking tourism: A case study of the selo route in Mount Merbabu National Park

Background: Mount Merbabu is one of the leading natural tourist destinations in Central Java that attracts local and foreign tourists, primarily through the Selo Trail, which is famous for trekking activities. The number of visitors along the Selo Trekking Trail has increased significantly yearly. Tourism activities on this trail have a significant social and economic impact on the surrounding community, directly and indirectly. Therefore, it is essential to identify the social impact and estimate the economic impact of tourism in the area around the Selo Trekking Trail. Method: This research method uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with a Likert scale to highlight tourism activities' social and economic impacts. This analysis involves collecting data through interviews, questionnaires, and observations to gain in-depth insight into the impact of tourism on local communities and their contribution to their economy. Findings: The study results indicate that tourism activities along the Selo Trekking Trail significantly influence community cooperation and social values. Tourism activities also contribute to community livelihoods, including actively managing tourism and forming volunteer groups. The interaction between tourists and local communities changes culture and social values ​​and has a positive impact by rapidly diversifying residents' jobs. Conclusion: From the results of the study, it can be concluded that tourism on the Selo Trekking Trail has significant social and economic impacts on the surrounding community. This activity strengthens community cooperation, influences social values, and improves livelihoods and job diversification. Active community involvement in tourism management and forming volunteer groups are critical factors in optimally utilizing tourism opportunities. Novelty: This study provides new insights into how tourism on the Selo Trekking Trail affects the social and economic dynamics of local communities. The findings highlight positive changes in community cooperation, social values, and job diversification, which have yet to be widely explored in previous studies on the impact of tourism in the area. This study also underlines the importance of active community involvement in tourism management to maximize economic and social benefits.

The Sipincur Geosite is one of the Toba calderas in Humbang Hasundutan, precisely in Pearung Village, Paranginan District. Sipincur Geosite is a natural tourist destination filled with Tusam (pine) plants. A tourist destination that offers beautiful natural views, plants and Lake Toba, makes the Sipincur Geosite visited by many tourists. The opening of the Sipincur Geosite started at the same time as Humbang Hasundutan from North Tapanuli bloomed in 2003. The Sipincur Geosite, which is taken from the word "Pincur" which means steep, makes people or visitors want to see Lake Toba directly. Over time, the development and provision of facilities has resulted in the Sipincur Geosite having a positive impact on the community and government. The existence of Lake Toba, which was made by President Joko Widodo as a priority destination, and the inclusion of Lake Toba as a National and International Geopark, has made Sipincur a priority destination and icon for Humbang Hasundtan Regency. The aim of this research is to find out what is the history and development of the Sipincur Geosite tourist destination as an icon and priority destination for Humbang Hasundutan Regency? The method used in this research is qualitative literature study, by conducting reviews through books, journals or websites, which are supported by facts from Humbang Hasundutan tourism service sources.

Pendampingan Pembuatan Nomor Induk Berusaha bagi Pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah

Nagari Kinari is a village located in Bukit Sundi District, Solok Regency which was developed into a natural tourist destination, one of which is the tourist attraction “Batu Barajuik”. This condition is a good opportunity for the community to improve the economy through local-based Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs in Nagari Kinari in selling their products require business legality or Business Identification Number (NIB), Home Industry Food Production Certificate (SPP-PIRT) and Halal certificate. So that the product produced can be marketed widely and provide a guarantee of safety for consumers. Business Identification Number (NIB) is the identity of the business license issued by the OSS (Online Single Submission). The Department of Agricultural Industrial Technology conducts a community service program to provide wider knowledge to the community and assist in making NIB which is then carried out by handing over NIB documents to the community of MSME. The method implemented is training in making NIB based on OSS, discussion, and submission of NIB. The result of these activities is the issuance of NIB documents, which are then delivered by the Head of the Department of Agricultural Industrial Technology to business actors.

Triggers For Destination Brand Loyalty Of Millennial Visitors To Natural Tourism Destinations

This research investigates triggers for destination brand loyalty of millennial visitors to natural tourism destinations. This research focuses on millennial visitors who have come to several natural tourist destinations in Southern Sumatra, with a sample of 110 visitors selected through purposive sampling. The survey output shows that eWoM has no notable effect on the image of a destination brand. However, the quality of the destination brand has a prominent clout on the image of a destination brand. Furthermore, the image of a destination brand significantly affects visitor engagement and loyalty. In addition, visitor engagement has a valuable clout on loyalty. Visitor engagement mediates between the image of a destination brand and a loyalty brand for nature tourism destinations. These findings provide precious insights for marketers of nature tourism destinations, offering alternative strategies to increase and maintain visitor loyalty.

Development Of Wana Wisata Ternadi As An Effort To Increase Tourist Visits In Ternadi Village, Kudus Regency

Wana Wisata Ternadi is one of the attractive natural tourist destinations in Kudus Regency, Central Java. However, this tourism potential has not been maximally optimized, so tourist visits are still low. Therefore, efforts to develop Wana Wisata Ternadi are very important to increase tourist visits to this area. This study aims to identify potentials and constraints in the development of Wana Wisata Ternadi, as well as formulate appropriate strategies to increase tourist visits. The research method used qualitative approach includes field observation, in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders, and secondary data analysis. The results showed that Wana Wisata Ternadi has extraordinary natural potential, such as beautiful natural scenery, biodiversity, and historical heritage. However, the main obstacles faced are the lack of supporting infrastructure, lack of promotion, and not optimal management of tourist attractions. Therefore, the recommended strategy includes development through the 4A tourism attraction development approach (Access, Attractions, Activities and Amenities), increasing promotion through digital media, and empowering local communities in tourism management.

Consumer Satisfaction Analysis on Central Java Best Natural Tourist Destination Based on Trip Advisor Website

Consumer satisfaction provides an idea of how well their experience met expectations or exceeded expectations before interacting with the product or service received. A high level of satisfaction will create customer loyalty, positive reviews, and word-of-mouth recommendations, whereas dissatisfaction can create complaints, negative reviews, and reduced customers. The purpose of this study is to understand the level of consumer satisfaction with the best natural tourist destination in Central Java based on reviews and ratings on the TripAdvisor website. This type of research is qualitative, with qualitative descriptive analysis methods, whose data collection is carried out by observing consumer reviews on the top 5 natural tourist destination from the list of the best natural tourist destination in Central Java based on the TripAdvisor website. The results showed that consumer satisfaction with the five best natural tourist destination in Central Java based on the TripAdvisor website, each destination must provide accessibility and facilities with good quality. Natural tourist destination require good accessibility, such as road access that can be easily used by visitors and access to complete information for visitors to be safer in exploring destinations. Adequate facilities with good quality.

Sustainable Tourism Industry in Indonesia through Mapping Natural Tourism Potential: Taxonomy Approach

Rembang Regency is located on the north coast of Java Island, Central Java Province, Indonesia, which has many beaches ideal for tourism activities. Even though it has the charm of beaches, natural tourist destinations are still the primary choice compared to cultural and artificial sites. However, limited studies exist regarding standard indicators for assessing natural tourism potential in Rembang Regency, which is essential for identifying potential tourist locations. This research focuses on grouping indicators of natural tourism potential based on six main aspects: attractions, amenities, accommodation, activity, accessibility, and ancillary services, environment in tourist areas, and human resources considerations. A taxonomic model will be utilized to develop a procedure for determining natural tourism potential, including indicator weighing via a hierarchical analysis. The findings will yield a taxonomy model aiding information and knowledge management, fostering information sharing and utilization. Moreover, the established procedures will facilitate an accurate and efficient determination of natural tourism potential. This research aims to contribute to sustainable natural tourism management in Rembang Regency, preserving nature while enhancing the tourist experience.

Glass Elevator at Kelingking Beach: A Comparative SWOT Analysis of Infrastructural Innovations in Tourist Destinations

This study undertakes a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of the proposed glass elevator installation at Kelingking Beach, a renowned tourist destination in Bali. The research draws upon diverse scholarly perspectives to offer a comparative lens on infrastructural developments in natural settings. While the glass elevator promises to democratize access, particularly for older people and those with mobility challenges, and possibly amplify economic gains, it also brings forth concerns related to overdevelopment, environmental impact, and the risk of compromising the intrinsic charm of the destination. Our findings elucidate that while there are clear strengths, such as enhanced accessibility and potential for premium pricing, there are notable challenges to consider. The weaknesses, primarily arising from potential safety concerns and the possibility of detracting from the beach's natural allure, call for thoughtful solutions. Opportunities present themselves through collaborative efforts, sustainable practices, and a reinvigorated tourism sector. The study serves as a template for policymakers and stakeholders in natural tourist destinations, aiming to integrate infrastructure without diluting the essence of the locale.

Identification of 5A in Curug Leuwi Hejo

Tourism has an important role in the Indonesian economy, including in Bogor which has attractive natural tourism potential. One of the natural tourist destinations in Bogor is Curug Leuwi Hejo in Cibadak Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency. This study aims to examine the experience of tourists visiting Curug Leuwi Hejo and analyze the 5A strategy carried out by the manager to improve the tourist experience. The research method used is qualitative with observation techniques and interviews with tourists. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative and SWOC analysis. The results showed that Curug Leuwi Hejo has the potential for natural attractions that attract tourists. In addition, the manager has also provided adequate accommodation for tourists. However, there are limitations in infrastructure development and destination promotion. Therefore, a more optimal development strategy is needed to improve the tourist experience in Curug Leuwi Hejo. In conclusion, this study provides guidance for destination managers, government, and local communities in optimizing the 5A strategy for Curug Leuwi Hejo tourism development. Further research can be carried out with different methods and instruments to obtain more accurate results.

IDENTIFIKASI BAHAYA DAN PENILAIAN RISIKO DI KAWASAN WISATA LEUWI KENIT, CILETUH PALABUHANRATU UGG

Ciletuh Palabuhanratu as the first geopark in West Java which has been recognized by UNESCO since 2018, is famous as the first land in western Java. One of the natural tourist object in the Geopark area with the beauty of ancient rock structures aged more than 60 million years ago is the Leuwi Kenit natural tourist destination in Pasirpanjang Village, which has a very large number of tourists, but in certain periods there are often visitor accidents. This research aims to identify hazards and risk assessment, as well as risk control from hazards, with research objects including parking areas, entrance gates, access routes, play facilities, and exit routes. The research method is a qualitative Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and mapping of danger points, literature studies, field observations, interviews with the community, tour guides and tourist attraction guards. Based on the results of the study, there are fifteen danger points in the Leuwi Kenit tourist attraction, some of which can occur when the activity is running with a range of risk relative status, namely low to high. Risk relative high status is recorded to have dominated with seven danger points, risk relative moderate status with six danger points, and risk relative low with two danger points. Quantitative assessment of Permian limestone geosites in the Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province, Western Thailand

Kanchanaburi Province in western Thailand is recognized as an exceptional natural tourist destination, offering many historical attractions and recreational activities. The Sai Yok District, located within Kanchanaburi Province, is characterized by distinctive geological and geomorphological features, hosting numerous remarkable geosites and geomorphosites, including waterfalls, caves, lapiés, and scenic karst topography. These features make it an exceptional location for geotourism. Inventory and quantitative assessments were conducted on seven Permian limestone geosites, namely Mueang Sing Historical Park, Tham Krasae, Tham Lawa, Tham Dao Wadung, Nam Tok Sai Yok Noi, Nam Tok Sai Yok Yai, and Hellfire Pass. The quantitative assessment process involved evaluating the scientific value and determining the level of deterioration of the geosites. Overall, these geosites were classified as having medium scientific value, with Mueang Sing Historical Park having the highest total score, while Tham Krasae had the lowest. Six of the seven geosites are classified as having a medium risk of deterioration, except Tham Dao Wadung, which has a low risk. The assessment of the total geosite value reveals that Mueang Sing Historical Park and Tham Dao Wadung possess a positive overall geosite value. At the same time, the other five have a negative value. It is important to note that because six of these seven geosites are classified as having a medium risk of deterioration, there is a need for increased attention and protection.

Planning For The Development of Urban Tourism Destinations (A Study on The Tourism Office of Kupang City

The relatively low revenue from the tourism sector indicates that tourism management in Kupang City requires serious attention from the local government, considering the promising tourism potential of Kupang City, which can be an option to increase local revenue and boost the community's economy towards building the region for the better. This research is qualitative, and the data were obtained from primary and secondary sources collected through observation, interviews, and document review with 40 informants. The collected data were analyzed using data analysis techniques (Creswell, 2016). The research findings indicate that the planning for the development of urban tourism destinations at the Kupang City Tourism Office revealed: (a) the actors involved in the planning process include both official and unofficial actors; (b) a review of the situation and identification of issues from an economic perspective shows that the threat is the community's mindset, which is difficult to change, while the opportunity lies in the economic development involving many creative economic players in Kupang City. The weakness is the lack of budget for urban tourism development, but we have the strength of being the capital city of NTT province and a gateway to Timor Leste; (c) forecasting indicates that the current tourism condition is still limited to natural tourist destinations, while urban tourism development has not been maximized. The actors strongly support the planning for more advanced urban tourism development; (d) the establishment of goals and strategy formulation refers to the vision and mission of the Kupang City Government. In implementing tourism development strategies, the organization first conducts communication among stakeholders and the local community; (e) the approval of plans indicates that, to date, the development plan for urban tourism destinations at the Kupang City Tourism Office is still in the planning stage

Influence of Integrated Marketing Communication on Revisit Intention with Visitor Satisfaction as a Mediator

This research aims to analyze the relationship between integrated marketing communication strategies in influencing visitor satisfaction and intention to revisit natural tourism destinations in Sampang Regency, Indonesia. Natural tourist destinations that are research locations include Lon Malang Beach, Toroan Beach, and Camplong Beach. Data was collected using a questionnaire filled out by 290 visitors to tourist destinations. Next, the data was analyzed using Smart PLS. Data analysis techniques consist of descriptive statistics and inferential analysis. By applying PLS-SEM analysis, this research finds that integrated marketing communications have a significant effect on visitor satisfaction and intention to revisit. In addition, visitor satisfaction has a significant influence on the intention to revisit, and visitor satisfaction is a mediating factor between integrated marketing communications and revisit intention. This research is useful for planning and exploiting the great potential of natural tourism destinations, especially beach tourism destinations in Sampang Regency, Indonesia.
