Pengaruh Konsep Diri dan Kedisiplinan terhadap Prestasi Belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam

The Influence of Self-Concept and Discipline on Natural Science Learning Achievement. The aim of this study was to determine: 1) The combined influence of self-concept and discipline on the learning achievement of Natural Science among junior high school students in West Jakarta. 2) The influence of self-concept on the learning achievement of Natural Science among junior high school students in West Jakarta. 3) The influence of discipline on the learning achievement of Natural Science among junior high school students in West Jakarta. The research method used was correlational survey. The sample used in this study consisted of 98 students from junior high schools in West Jakarta. The results of the study concluded that 1) There is a significant combined influence of self-concept and discipline on the learning achievement of Natural Science among junior high school students in West Jakarta. This is evidenced by the significance value (sig.) = 0.000 < 0.05 and F-value = 24.849. 2) There is a significant influence of self-concept on the learning achievement of Natural Science among junior high school students in West Jakarta. This is evidenced by the significance value (sig.) = 0.000 < 0.05 and t-value = 6.245. 3) There is a significant influence of discipline on the learning achievement of Natural Science among junior high school students in West Jakarta. This is evidenced by the significance value (sig.) = 0.001 < 0.05 and t-value = 3.541.

Efforts to Improve Science Learning Achievement of Grade IX A Students of SMP Negeri 3 Sewon Using the Multy Representacy (DMR) Discourse Model for the 2021/2022 Academic Year

This study aims to improve natural science (IPA) learning achievement using the Multy Reprecentacy (DMR) Discourse learning model. This study is a class action research conducted with two (2) cycles. Each cycle consists of three (3) meetings, namely two (2) meetings for the learning process and one (1) meeting for achievement tests that are done independently. Each cycle follows the stages of the Kemmis and Taggart model which includes four components: planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collected in this study is the result of research related to the implementation of learning using the Multy Reprecentacy (DMR) Discourse model on natural science (IPA) material. Data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques with descriptive and qualitative approaches. The results showed that the use of the Multy Reprecentacy (DMR) Discourse model in natural science learning activities can improve student achievement. This increase in prestige is the effect of better and conductive teaching and learning activities of teachers and students. The success of this increase in learning achievement can be seen from the increase in learning achievement scores after conducting achievement tests with the "Multy Reprecentacy (DMR) Discourse" model, compared to learning using the lecture method. So learning using the "Multy Reprecentacy (DMR) Discourse" model, is proven to increase the achievement of science (science) for junior high school students.

Elevating natural science learning achievement: Cooperative learning and learning interest

Natural science learning achievement is an essential factor in learning outcomes. This research investigated an experimental study that aimed to improve concept science test result in online learning through Jigsaw cooperative learning model and learning style. The research involved the sample of 80 students from junior high school in South Jakarta, Indonesia divided into two groups: the experimental class and the class control. Raw data were statistically analyzed using the two-way variance technique at the .05 significance level. The findings revealed an effect between cooperative learning on natural science learning achievement, learning interest in natural science learning achievement, and interaction between cooperative learning and learning interest in natural science learning achievement. As a result, cooperative learning type Jigsaw shows a significant impact and had a good test result on natural science learning achievement. Therefore, the research suggests that Jigsaw cooperative learning is well suited to use as a learning model among junior high school students based on effect size test results.

MENGAPRESIASIKAN HASIL PRESTASI BELAJAR IPA PADA MATERI SISTEM GERAK MANUSIA MELALUI DISVERSITY OF STUDENT STRATEGY LEARNING SEBAGAI METODE PEMBELAJARAN SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 1 SEKARAN

This study aims to determine the results of natural science learning achievement in the human motion system by using the Diversity of Student Strategic Learning method (Learning Strategies that take account of student diversity). This research was included in a class action research that was designed into two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Based on the results of research that has been done, the results obtained, namely the basic capabilities of the material motion system in humans can be achieved properly. This can be seen in the results of student evaluations that reach 78.25% completeness. The data is used as a basis for designing cycle 1, so as to obtain the results of the activities of students who have good activities in learning activities as many as 17 (68%) and as many as 4 (16%) and as many as 4 (16%) indicate less activity. While observations from the point of view of students' attention in learning activities, students who have good attention are 9 (36%), who have attention as much as 6 (24%) and less attention is 10 (40%). The use of the Diversity of Student Strategic Learning method can increase the activities and attention of students in Biology / Natural Sciences lessons yet to be declared Completed. then the research activities need to be held in the second cycle, so that the results obtained by students who have good activities in learning activities as many as 21 (84%) and as many as 2 (8%) and as many as 2 (8%) indicate less activity. While observations from the point of view of students 'attention in learning activities, students who have good attention are 19 (76%), parents' attention are 4 (16%) and attention is less 2 (8%). So, it can be concluded that the Diversity of Student Strategic Learning method (Learning Strategies that considers student diversity) can increase student activities and attention in Biology / Natural Sciences. By using the Diversity of Student Strategic Learning method.

Science Learning Achievement Assessed from Emotional Intelligence of Students in Elementary School

The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and natural science learning achievement of fifth-grade students in elementary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to get a picture of how the emotional intelligence of fifth-grade elementary school students located in the Provincial City, Regency City, District City and remote areas, how the learning achievement of fifth-grade elementary school students in the even semester of 2019 located in the provincial city, Regency Cities, Sub-district Cities, and Remote Areas, how are the links between Emotional Intelligence and Natural Science learning achievements of Grade V students of Elementary Schools in the even semester of 2019 located in Provincial Cities, Regency Cities, District Cities, and Remote Areas. Obtained a picture there is a link between emotional intelligence with science learning achievement of fifth-grade elementary school students in the even semester of 2019 which is located in the Provincial City, Regency City, District City and Remote Areas which is stated through the results of data analysis that shows the contribution of emotional intelligence to students’ learning outcomes.

Analisis Pengaruh Frekuensi Belajar di Luar Sekolah dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of frequency of out-school learningactivities and learning motivation towards improving students' natural science learningachievement. This research is quantitative research with an ex-post facto approach. Thesubjects in the study were 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Mataram in the academicyear at 2018/2019 with a total of 260 people. Data collection of science learningoutcomes is obtained from daily tests from teachers in schools while data collectionof the frequency of out-school learning activities and learning motivation is obtainedusing a questionary. The effect of frequency of out-school learning activities and learningmotivation on learning achievement of science are analyzed using analysis of covariance(ANAKOVA). The results of the study show that: 1) the frequency of out-school learningactivities has a significant influence on science learning achievement; 2) student's learningmotivation has a significant effect on science learning achievement, and 3) there is aninteraction between the frequency of out-school learning activities and learning motivationon students' learning achievement in science. The frequency of out-school learningactivities and learning motivation is proven have effect on science learning achievement.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri dengan Teknik Scaffolding terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Sains dan Prestasi Belajar IPA

This study aimed at investigating the effect of inquiry learning model with scaffolding techniques toward ability of science literacy and natural science learning achievement. The design used in this study was using basic pattern Single Factorial Independent Group Design with quasi-experiment type. The sample used was 58 students. The data collected were ability of science literacy and naural science learning achievement. The data were analyzed by using MANOVA used SPSS 17.00 for windows. Research results showed that: First, the ability of science literacy students who were taught by using inquiry learning model with scaffolding techniques was significantly better than students who were taught by using conventional model (F = 19,982; p < 0.05). Second, the natural science achievement of students who were taught by using inquiry learning model with scaffolding techniques was significantly better than students who were taught by using conventional model (F = 13,268; p < 0.05). Third, simultaneously, the ability of science literacy and natural science learning achievement between students who were taught by using inquiry model with scaffolding techniques was significantly better than students who were taught by using conventional model.

AN APPLICATION OF MIND MAPPING TEACHING MODEL TO ENHANCE NATURAL SCIENCE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN THE FIFTH GRADERS IN THE FIRST SEMESTER AT SD N 4 KALIUNTU

This study was aimed at enhancing natural science learning achievement in the fifth graders in the first semester at SD N4 Kaliuntu in the school year 2017/2018. The data for the students’ natural science learning achievement were collected with a test and assessment rubric. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, quantitative descriptive method, and gain score (Gn). The result of data analysis showed an increase proven by the pretest score for the students’ science learning achievement of 65.7% , categorized as a low score. The science learning achievement score increased in the first cycle to 71.63%, categorized as average which increased again in the second cycle to 82.34%, showing science learning achievement in the high category. So, there was an increase in learning achievement of 5.93 from pre-cycle to the first cycle, an increase in learning achievement of 10.71 from the first cycle to the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an increase in the students’ natural science learning achievement in this study through the implementation of Mind Mapping teaching model.

The Correlation between Teacher Professional Competence and Natural Science Learning Achievement in Elementary School

This present study aims at investigating the correlation between teachers’ professional competence and natural science learning achievement in elementary schools in Buleleng regency. The population in this study are all sixth grade teachers, which it is further narrowed down to 30 teachers as the sample. In order to gather the data, the researcher employs questionnaire regarding teacher professional competence and document study toward students’ achievement on national examination in academic year 2016/2017. Further, ex post facto is chosen as the design of the study. Meanwhile, the data are analysed through correlation analysis with assistance of SPSS 16 software. Based on the analysis, it was obtained that the correlation between teacher professional competence and the learning achievement on natural science subject is in the interval of 0.40-0.59 with correlation coefficient at rho=0.506. This means there is a significant correlation between teacher professional competence and students’ learning achievement on natural science in national examination in academic year 2016/2017 (tcount = 3.103 > ttable =2.048 with significance level at α = 0,05 and coefficient of determination at 0.2560 (25.60%)

The Retention of Learning Achievement in Natural Science with PDC Instructional Model (Preparing, Doing, Concluding) in Grade 7th at Junior High School 02 of Umbulsari

This Research and Development study aimed to determine the retention of natural science learning achievement with the PDC Model (Preparing, Doing, Concluding). The subject of this research was the 7th students at The Public Primary School 2 of Umbulsari during even semester of 2015/2016 academic year. Data analysis applied qualitative descriptive. Retention of learning outcomes of Natural Science with PDC instructional model (Preparing, Doing, Concluding) was obtained from the scores of learning achievement after the implementation the PDC instructional model. The results of the average score of student retention were 97.61% high category in cycle 1, 98.23% high category in cycle 2, and 99.91% high category in cycle 3. All in all, it can be concluded the retention of Natural Science learning achievement with instructional model PDC (Preparing, Doing, Concluding) is classified as high category.

MOTIVATION AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN NATURAL SCIENCE SUBJECT OF THE FIFTH GRADERS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: A CORRELATIONAL STUDY

This study aims to find out the degree of correlation between students motivation and students’ learning achievement in natural science subject. The sample are selected through cluster random sampling by selecting 40% of all fifth graders in elementary schools in Golewa sub district, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia. There are two instruments used to collect the data namely questionnaire about motivation and achievement test. The test consists of 22 items of multiple choice and the questionnaire consists of 20 questions. From the hypothesis testing, it is gained that the rxy = 0.899 which then being compared to the rtable with 5% of significance level and results in rtable= 0,320. Thus, since rxy> rtable or 0.899>0.320 the H1 is accepted. The degree of correlation between students’ motivation and the natural science learning achievement is r= 0.90 with 81% of determination coefficient. In conclusion, there is a high correlation between students’ learning motivation and the natural science learning achievement.
