Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (SIM-PPDB) Berbasis Microsite di SMP Negeri 3 Purwodadi Tahun 2023

The Microsite-Based New Student Admissions Management Information System (Sim-Ppdb) at SMP Negeri 3 Purwodadi in 2023 has not yet used a web-based information system. This information system is an information system that is used to help manage the implementation of PPDB activities. So that the management of activities can be controlled and recorded properly.In developing the PPDB management information system at SMP Negeri 3 Purwodadi using the waterfall method, the field study method and literature study were used for data collection. This information system is created using the PHP programming language and MySQL database server. The test method uses black box and usability testing. The results of this study are a microsite-based information system that can make it easier for users, both prospective students, prospective parents and school committees, to access the microsite so that it can be controlled properly. The results of testing the developed software obtained a functionality value of 1 (Good), testing the usability aspect obtained a result with a percentage of 94.66% (Very Eligible).

Library data processing at MTS Raudlatul 'Ulum Pabuaran Jaha is still done manually so it has drawbacks, namely archiving becomes disorganized, messy, and searching for data takes a lot of time. Therefore, it is necessary to have a web-based library information system so that the administration, management and service processes to users are better. The research method used is the waterfall method, which involves the stages of software requirements analysis, system design, writing program code, program testing, and system maintenance. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and questionnaires. The interview method is used to determine user needs, questionnaires are used to test the feasibility of usability aspects, while observation is used to test performance efficiency aspects. The result of this research is a web-based library information system using the PHP programming language and MySQL database server which can optimize library management, increase service efficiency, and meet the needs of library users effectively, so as to improve the learning process in schools.

A Review Paper on PG Recommendation System

Abstract: Day by day world population is growing rapidly and a huge amount of people shifting to large cities and new places for work, education or job purpose, or a better life. That is why the housing demand is increasing and house renting becoming an elemental part of our society. As a result, I realized the importance of an online house renting website and come up with a decision to implement a such web application. In this paper rental website development is discussed. Through this website, tenants can rent properties and landlords can upload their property details for rent. This website will help users to give or take rent houses without dealing with flat brokers to finally reach an agreement that suits the interests of all parties. The packaging and shifting services facility will help users to shift valuable things safely to destinations. To implement, and testing of the proposed system, this application interface has been developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PHP, and MySQL database server that allows for making web pages interactive and responsive. This system was developed in such a manner so that it can provide a maximum user-friendly interface, and users can use it more efficiently.

A Decision Support System for Course Materials Production and Inventory Management in the National Open University of Nigeria

This paper focuses on the design of a Decision Support System for Course Material production and inventory management in the National Open University of Nigeria. The proposed system has a model base management subsystem which is a component that differentiates Decision Support Systems from other types of Information Systems. The model base consists of a wide collection of models which include inventory models, production quantity models and a forecast model. Other components of the system including the data management subsystem, dialog generation and management subsystem and the users of the system were also discussed. A prototype of the Decision Support System was developed using python programming and MYSQL database server. Testing and validation was done using sample data of students’ enrolment and user defined inputs for the forecast, inventory and production modules of the system. The results of the tests show high level of accuracy when compared with those obtained from manual computations. The design is simple, flexible and can be easily modified to suit the needs of other institutions with multi-item inventory problems.

DESIGN BUILD LIBRARY INFORMATION SYSTEM BASED FOR SANTA MARIA 2 HIGH SCHOOL BANDUNG

Likewise with library management at Santa Maria 2 High School Bandung, data collection is still manual so there are often many errors , therefore an information system is needed that can manage book collection data, library member data, book borrowing data, book return data and fines data for members who are late in returning books, which aims to improve the performance of library managers to be more effective in managing library data, and also to increase the reading interest of library members, namely Santa Maria 2 Bandung High School students themselves. The research method used is research and development with the sql website development method. The data collection methods used were interviews and observations. The interview method is to determine user needs, while the observation is for testing aspects of performance efficiency. The results of this study are (1) the system is proven that the level of feasibility of a web-based library information system using PHP and a MYSQL database server. (2) The test results prove that the level of feasibility of a web-based library information system in the aspect of usability for small groups is 8 1.22 % with very feasible criteria and large groups 9 0.2 % with very feasible criteria , and aspects of performance efficiency 9 6.64 with grade A.

The research method used is research and development with the sql website development method. The data collection methods used were interviews and observations. The interview method is used to determine user needs, while the observation is for testing aspects of performance efficiency. The results of this study are (1) the system is proven that the level of feasibility of a web-based library information system using PHP and a MYSQL database server. (2) The test results prove that the level of feasibility of a web-based library information system in the usability aspect of the small group is 84.22% with very decent criteria and 91.2% large group with very feasible criteria, and the performance efficiency aspect is 98.64 with grade A.

This research uses the certainty factor method. The application development stage begins with the stages of problem analysis, system design, designing system process models, interface design, and relations between tables.The application made is a web-based expert system to help in choosing the best guitar according to the criteria entered into the system, and displaying presentations in the guitar choices given as well as a detailed explanation of the guitar. Expert systems are built using the PHP programming language, MySQL database server, and sublime text as a text editor.

The Department of Informatics has requirements for earning a Bachelor's degree, namely the Final Project. The Final Project is a research paper that must be written for students. However, the process of implementing the final project is still managed manually so problems occur on a regular basis. To avoid further issues, the author conducted research on the Information Systems of the Final Project. This system would not be integrated into the primary system of the university. There was only the Final Project 1 process in the implementation, consisting of a proposal and results seminars. This study aimed to create an Information system of Online Final Project for students who want to take Final Project 1 or those who are taking Final Project 1.
 This study used the waterfall method which consisted of requirements, design, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis and design, this study used PHP programming and a MySQL database server. The function test on the application was used to generate the test results. The Final Project Information System application would be used by the admins, students, lecturers (supervisors and examiners), and the final project coordinators.

Android Based Door Security Design

Room insecurity such as cases of theft or fire can occur, especially in rooms that are not equipped with special security and guard systems. Based on this, it is necessary to develop a security system that can be accessed and monitored remotely and provides early warning of early indications of danger using smartphones. System development is carried out through the stages of making software and hardware. The hardware consists of Arduino Mega 2560 to manage the system, MySQL Database Server, CC3000 Wifi Shield as a communication device between Arduino and the server, Limit Switch to detect a forced push on the door, MQ-2 measuring gas leaks in the room, DHT-11 sensor to measure the room temperature, VC0706 camera to capture images in the door area. Android application as a system interface to change lock status and monitor room conditions. A warning notification of the danger indication of a gas leak is sent to the user's smartphone by displaying the value of the gas content. The warning message of a forced push on the door is equipped with a feature to display camera captures. The final result of this research is that a room security system has been successfully created where access to door locks and room monitoring can be done through an android application installed on a smartphone. PROTOTYPE APLIKASI BERBASIS MOBILE PADA SISTEM ADMINISTRASI TATA TERTIB PESERTA DIDIK MENGGUNAKAN SMS GATEWAY

The system used for the administrative management of the code of conduct on SMA Swadaya Surabaya are still semi-manual record-keeping and reporting that is used is still manual and only as Ms. Office only. And the notification of student violations to parents only by post. This has resulted in frequent errors in recording violations of conduct learners that is unsynchronized between the daily record-keeping violations committed students and the monthly reports made by BK. In addition, the creation of reports requires a long time. And also the difficulty of communication between the school with parents about violations of students. Based on the description of the conditions, then the research aims to design the system of the administration of the code of conduct learners using the SMS Gateway. The system is designed with PHP as programming language, and MySQL Database Server. The method development of the system that is used for the design of the system i.e. SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) consisting of planning systems, analysis systems, design systems, and implementation. The results obtained from this research that is the system of administration code of conduct learners using the SMS Gateway with Mobile Web-based that can help the process of recording and be reporting quick and accurate. This system can also be used as an intermediary of communication between the school and parents regarding violations were done by learners in school.

Design and Implementation of Energy Management System Based on Spring Boot Framework

This paper designs and implements an energy management system based on the Spring Boot framework. The system mainly includes three layers, which are the data collection layer, the business logic layer, and the display interface layer from bottom to top. The data collection layer is based on the RS-485 electrical standard and the MODBUS communication protocol. The two protocols connect all energy consumption monitoring points into a mixed topology communication network in the enterprise. The programs in the data collection layer poll each energy consumption monitoring point in the network to collect the data and transmit to the business logic layer. The business logic layer is developed on the basis of the Spring Boot framework and mainly includes two parts: the MySQL database and Tomcat server. In the MySQL database, the stored data are horizontally split according to the time column and stored in different data tables. The split of data reduces the load of a single data table and improves the query performance of the database. The Tomcat server is built into the Spring Boot framework to provide a basic environment for system operation. The Spring Boot framework is the core component of the system. It is responsible for collecting, storing, and analyzing data from energy consumption monitoring points, receiving and processing data requests from the display interface layer. It also provides standard data interfaces to the external programs. The display interface layer is developed on the basis of the Vue framework and integrated into the Spring Boot framework. The display layer combines an open-source visualization chart library called ECharts to provide users with a fully functional and friendly human–computer interaction interface. Through the calculation of hardware and software costs, considering the personnel cost in different regions, the total cost of the energy management system can be estimated. The cost of construction was approximately 210,000 USD in this paper. Since the system was actually deployed in a manufacturing company in December 2019, it has been operating stably for more than 600 days.

IoT Based Healthcare System

Health is a fundamental need. It is also a human right to have access to high-quality health care. Due to a lack of resources, India is now dealing with a slew of health problems. This review article discusses the concept of utilizing cutting-edge technology, such as the Internet of Things, to solve health problems. It provides an architectural assessment of a smart health care system based on the Internet of Things that aims to serve everyone with high-quality health care. Patients' bodily parameters may be measured in real time using this system design. Sensors gather patient body characteristics and send them to an Arduino Uno, which then sends the data to the cloud via a WiFI module.This information is saved in a MySql database server, which handles information and makes it accessible. The Android App may be used to see this information. Which may be installed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer? Authentication, privacy, security, and data management are all handled via cloud computing. If the data is abnormal, the patient and caretakers will be notified through email. Different decision-making algorithms may be used to make choices, and individuals can access the database based on them. The patient has access to their medical records. As a result, this system offers everyone with high-quality health care as well as error-free and seamless contact with patients.

An Online Road Transport Booking System

Road transportation bookings have traditionally been done over the counter in transportation terminals but with the exponential growth of e-commerce, this has changed. This study focuses on automating the Road Transport Booking System to allow travellers (passengers) and employees to buy and sell tickets online. The study also discusses issues that consumers and administrators face, such as long wait times to book a trip, unsafe environments and more. The project investigates several implementation problems and makes suggestions about how to successfully incorporate an Online Road Transport Booking System. This web portal would aid future development of a fully integrated system that connects transportation company employees to consumers, employees to employees, employees to other types of transportation providers, employees to companies, and employees to government agencies. The development tools used in the development of this research are PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, MYSQL database, and XAMPP server.

Field Reporting Irrigation System via Smartphone

Irrigation is one of the backbones in the field of agriculture. The role of technology in the industrial era 4.0 has increased tremendously in irrigation management systems. Areas, limited internet access, and validation of activity reports are separate issues in monitoring the performance of irrigation field workers in real-time. Therefore, we built a reporting system that is equipped with location tracking using the Smartphone Global Positioning System (GPS) and the Web Geographic Information System (WebGIS) application. This field reporting system starts from the report input form on the Android app that detects location coordinates automatically. Reports are stored in an offline SQLite database and sent to the MySQL database server online through the data synchronisation process. From the server-side, information displayed through the WebGIS application. This field reporting is more efficient in monitoring the performance of irrigation systems in real-time.

Banten Jaya University (UNBAJA) is one of the educational institutions engaged in technology and information, which part of the system has been computerized. But in development there is still a work system that is done manually. Data processing from information that is done manually can be said to be far from the goal, given the importance of effectiveness and efficiency of employee performance. Therefore, Banten Jaya University must be able to improve the quality and quality of employee performance by holding a Decision Support System using the simple addinue weight (SAW) method, which is a computer-based information system and also includes a system with a knowledge management basis, used to support decision making in an organization or company. The decision support system for selecting exemplary employees at the University of Banten Jaya (UNBAJA) can be run well. The development model used is Waterfall. The stage of the process of making a decision support system for selecting exemplary employees at the University of Banten Jaya (UNBAJA) begins with making a design, determining the flow of the work system, making a coding program, making a design view. The decision support system for selecting exemplary employees at the University of Banten Jaya (UNBAJA) uses a PHP MySQL database server. From the test results using the Black Box, the results show that the system testing decision support system for selecting exemplary employees at the University of Banten Jaya (UNBAJA) is successful and can be used and operated well.

Polyclinic management is currently using a computerized system. However, the existing system is almost entirely made separate or in the form of a stand-alone system. Management of clinical data, financial data, dispensary data and queuing data are used with different systems. Based on previous studies there has been a clinical information system, medical records, and inpatient / outpatient care, but the application is still independent. There are many references to previous studies that only manage clinical data, in this case medical records and pharmacy data. Financial management has never been integrated into the same system, especially for the polyclinic information system. The solution provided by researchers is by designing and building a system that combines clinical data management, care data, financial data, pharmacy data, and queuing data in one integrated system. System development utilizes web technologies such as PHP, HTML5, CSS, and Javascript programming languages. Data storage is designed using the MySQL database server. The use of web technology allows the system to run lightly and can be accessed both intranet and internet.

Designing and usability assessing an electronic personal health record for patients with chronic heart failure in a developing country

BackgroundChronic heart failure (CHF) is one of the serious chronic progressive conditions with the highest incidence, mortality, and disability so that its complications can be controlled and prevented through self-care behaviors. An electronic personal health record (e-PHR) can increase patients' understanding of their level of health to improve it. ObjectiveThis study aimed to design an e-PHR system and assess its usability for patients with CHF. MethodsThis applied developmental research was conducted in 2019. Based on the literature review, a questionnaire was designed to assess and determine the data elements required for the e-PHR system of patients with CHF by 14 cardiologists and 40 nurses employed at Cardiology departments of hospitals in Iran. Then the system was designed and developed using the PHP programing language and MySQL database server and implemented on a web server. The system's usability was assessed by three cardiologists and three patients using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire and five health information technology experts using Nielsen's usability heuristics. ResultsThe experts approved the system design elements, including 225 data elements, such as identity information, vital signs, diet and liquids, health records, symptoms, medications, vaccination, tests, social records, physical activities, sexual activities, and travel. The most important elements in this system were social records (98.52%) and physical activities (97.53%), whereas the least important element was vaccination (80%). Patients and cardiologists gave 83.33 and 85 SUS scores to the designed system, respectively. In other words, they evaluated the system usability at a "good" level. Based on Nielsen's usability heuristics, the system had 30 unique problems, with overall average severity of 2.39. ConclusionThe designed e-PHR system for CHF patients obtained good and satisfactory results in usability assessment. Therefore, this web-based system can be easily employed for the condition management of patients with CHF.

Melting Time Prediction Model for Induction Furnace Melting Using Specific Thermal Consumption from Material Charge Approach

A system-level evaluation was used to analyze the induction furnace operation and process system in this study. This paper presents an investigation into the relationship between the instantaneous chemical composition of a molten bath and its energy consumption in steelmaking. This was evaluated using numerical modelling to solve for the estimated melting time prediction for the induction furnace operation. This work provides an insight into the lowering of energy consumption and estimated production time in steelmaking using material charge balancing approach. Enthalpy computation was implemented to develop an energy consumption model for the molten metal using a specific charge composition approach. Computational simulation program engine (CastMELT) was also developed in Java programming language with a MySQL database server for seamless specific charge composition analysis and testing. The model performance was established using real-time production data from a cast iron-based foundry with a 1 and 2-ton induction furnace capacity and a medium carbon-based foundry with a 10- and 15-ton induction furnace capacity. Using parameter fitting techniques on the measured operational data of the induction furnaces at different periods of melting, the results from the model predictions and real-time melting showed good correlation between 81% - 95%. A further analysis that compared the relationship between the mass composition of a current molten bath and melting, time showed that energy consumption can be reduced with effective material balancing and controlled charge. Melting time was obtained as a function of the elemental charge composition of the molten bath in relation to the overall scrap material charge. This validates the approach taken by this research using material charge and thermodynamic of melting to optimize and better control melting operation in foundry and reduce traditional waste during iron and steel making.

Product recommendation system on building materials shopping using FP-Growth algorithm

The application program created is an e-commerce website based application program that is used to provide product choices for building materials using the FP- Growth algorithm. This algorithm is used to find frequent itemset (data that most often appears) on store transaction data from January 2019 to the most recent transaction. The use of FP-Tree which is used simultaneously with the FP-Growth algorithm only scans the database 2 times. The first scanning is done to read the previous store sales transaction data. The second scanning on the tree trace to form a pattern. After obtaining a number of linkages that are higher than the minimum support from the transaction data, product choices can be generated on the website. This application was created using the Hypertext Processor (PHP) programming language base which is supported by the MySQL database and SQL Server. It is expected that the presence of web-based applications can improve store sales and the marketing process of building products for the better.

Development of an IoT and BIM-based automated alert system for thermal comfort monitoring in buildings

A comfortable thermal indoor environment is crucial for occupants’ well-being and productivity. Building Management System (BMS) is usually used to monitor the thermal condition of buildings. One of BMS’s main challenges is in the data visualization stage, in which 2D vector graphics are used, which is not fully interactive and can only be manipulated by a trained operator. Building Information Modeling (BIM) has emerged as a useful tool in the construction industry, which can be applied in all stages of a project lifecycle. The use of BIM in facilities management is currently limited since BIM applications have primarily been implemented within the design and construction phases. The main objective of this study is to integrate a sensor-based alert system into BIM models for thermal comfort monitoring in buildings during the operational phase and visualize a building’s thermal condition virtually. In order to improve the performance of environmental monitoring management of buildings in smart cities, this research presents a newly developed integrated solution based on a BIM platform and Internet of Things (IoT). The designed prototype explores the integration of commercial BIM platforms with sensor data to create a self-updating BIM model to provide real-time thermal condition monitoring based on the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Standard within an office environment. The temperature and humidity values, measured by sensors, are sent to the MySQL database server. An integrated workflow was developed to compile, standardize, integrate, and visualize monitoring data in a BIM environment to facilitate interpretation, analysis, and monitoring data exchange. The developed system was able to detect the time and location of a case study office room experiencing the levels of thermal comfort/discomfort based on the targeted thresholds. In this case, thirteen levels of thermal discomfort cases, out of forty-nine data points during the test, were detected, and the developed system was also able to generate a trigger and transmit alarms to facility managers via their wireless devices in real-time. The results demonstrate that the proposed system is a visually effective monitoring system for environmental monitoring management. The fully automated developed system is expected to provide a robust and practical tool for reliable data collection, analysis, and visualization to facilitate intelligent monitoring of the thermal condition in buildings and help decision-makers make faster and better decisions, which may help in maintaining the level of occupants’ thermal comfort to a satisfactory level.
